I'm very sure Greenwich isn't North East of London. Besides, the prices are a bit too dear compared to say nandos which has a lot more overheads. Wish him the best. |
Pity she's Nigerian. (Nunu Obe) Speaks before she thinks. |
nemesis4u:Elaborate more on this please.. |
I'm usually averse to tribal esque issues but I don't think this would end well if looking at the issues at other middle belt regions. It's not acceptable the government has to press on every other region to support the nomads. This is not a fooking master - slave contraption. |
There's a difference in work ethics between private and public sectors. (Proforce vs DICON) Proforce knows better than sitting on their asses all day. That the guys and management (DICON) know that even if they put in half a shift, they'll still get paid at the end of the month. The same attitude is replicated all over, NA, NAF et al. No urgency or uptake of lessons to make sure tomorrow is better than today. |
Didn't this same Government import some special types of grass seedlings suitable for livestock to grow. Not acceptable though, whole country has to offer up land then pay to fund non paying cattle rearers to allow them continue their livelihood. The stench from here is absolutely grotesque. |
newafricaken254:I'd posted about this once, maybe the first time it was found. The use of this weapon has been highlighted on different occasions by Conflict Armament Research (CAR) Found with cattle rustlers, armed robbers and possibly BH. Sightings mostly localised up north. |
Why do Nigerians in general have such garish taste in furnishings though...? Wonder how much interior decorators charge for such eye wincing decor. Looks just as bad as E-money. P Square and Ms ikeji seem to buck the trend with clean but quite classy furniture. |
Latest version; AC-130J with 105mm cannon. Fat chance we might get any type of gunships...but with its incredible loiter time, it might be an incredible asset if we could get even a derivative of it such as the C 27 with capabilities for multiple roles can also in 4 hours be converted to the MC-27J as it is a modular platform. Disappointing that despite our insurgencies (running into almost a decade) we are still collecting bits and bob from all over the planet. Nothing stopped us from acquiring stop gap measures such as the Air tractors which could stay on for 6 hours. Heck, even an OV 10 Bronco might have done our job.

China strikes again...^^ That's the watercar panther reverse engineered? However, how does it fare in Delta swamp regions. |
He's built and inaugurated jack shite. |
Please, do our vehicles at least have some form of tracking device or nay? BH been capturing bits and pieces of infantry vehicles but not heard once of the army striking their bases after they must have driven back to their hideout. They could either outsource this to a third party company or potentially acquire short or long term measures. |
What should we call those that never learn? Keep trumpeting looters and liars for upcoming elections. No doubt, you'll probably soon join the hordes who are on the way to Europe via the Libyan hellhole |
@Zeestone99,(Already chatted a bit yesterday) GeorgeD1 (has the most extensive SP project here I think) Please, can I indulge your knowledge about building a good solar power project. I have read and still learning about SP. I am looking for one in excess of 4KW plus or more (if needed)to run a bungalow or two. Items such as fridge, tv, low energy LED, washing machine(?), microwave (?) Say I had the opportunity to purchase all I wanted from abroad at a fairly cheap price, would that make a lot of difference versus buying all from Nigeria? I have possibilities of getting for example solar panels deep cycle batteries (from AGM to lead acid) Inverter Would just like to draw on your knowledge on what could be bought to make this set up a very good and worthy setup. |
Hi guys. I read this section from time to time. Was wondering on how to go about starting off with solar power. What is(are) the best company(ies) out there in terms of reliability, plus what are the costs involved for a mid level to elaborate installation. Electrical items such as fridge, freezer, tv, washing machine (?), light and so. |
I like the Ara and hope to see more modifications on it, the headlights right now are too low and should be higher. EDIT: Never mind, can see the new fog lights affixed on top. I think Proforce must be visiting this thread and taking suggestions. Henry240:Material is like some sort of 'quilt' I think. Would be good if it were to also be fire retardant. |
giles14:You do know the Russian General was killed not by an ambush but on the frontline right. The last picture of him was during the crossing of the Euphrates. The terrorists were only separated by the river. It's different from getting hit from behind son. |
Odunayaw: lionel4power:We could probably borrow a handbook from others. There's also vast pockets of unpopulated areas between Damascus to Deir ez zor, yet those areas got swept and secured. The last pockets of enemy concentration are currently sieged and getting attacked daily. It's like over here, we don't have a clue or know the clear extent of the terrorist groups. And if we do, then it's clear that the hierarchy is not fit to hold their office when they do not have a solution to the problem. |
Knowing very little of the NA dynamics with BH but can we not have a sustained offensive to actually capture land, police it and retain it. If we actually already do this, then is it down to bh cells which we do not seem to have checkmated. Hiding and unleashing an AA gun against troops should be nigh on impossible in areas already captured by our army.

Gym business is something we have been considering. Where does one start from in getting 'quality' gym equipment? |
I'm a man and certainly not moved by her back side. Certainly large but not my cup of tea. Prefer my lean and toned female. |
Thought I was the only one. Pity... The speech was certainly 'Un Presidential'. |
Had fights while in secondary school. The most memorable was from a kid who grew up in the barracks. While squaring up, I got a punch I didn't see coming, got hit in my stomach possibly in my liver or diagphram which took the wind out of me. The fight ended at that moment. The pain unbearable and for minutes I could not get up. Could hardly walk afterwards for a few hours. |
No one has told them how much people abroad pay on rent, transport, phone bills, tax, etc £1000 or Euros, a single room might go for £350-£700 depending on area, then transport, phone bills, food, etc, How much are you left with? |
Make una leave beeg o. He probably lost passion for it and there it was. Wasn't exactly inspiring then with the lacklustre commitment from the armed forces in regards to purchase, modernisation and all that. Still bits of blogs out there, love Peccavi's analysis and checking out the photos or news about Nigerian armed forces in this section. |
Criticised IPOB in the past especially with the hate speeches at the beginning and some of their modus operandi. Kanu for starters started out extremely vile and distastefully to almost all major tribes bar none. While I do not accept its proscription relative to much criminal groups like the 'militant arm' of fulani herders. I believe IPOB should also study separate groups in the past such as 'ETA' which progressively moved from non violence to violence. Killing and burning a police officer and police station respectively is a tendency of a group probably trying to tip over to get more attention from the government. The government too typical of excesses of security agencies ignored their rules of engagement and wrongly killed quite a number of people. Does Nigeria need restructuring? Fuccking yes. however, it needs to start from us we having gained enough wisdom and electing the right people who can push our agendas collectively than this batch of rogues who ignore promises as soon as in power. |
“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” Please is this a sign of diminished IQ in Nigeria or some sort of curse to keep all their options to the same failed set of leaders? Buhari, Jonathan, Atiku are just another collection of rhetorics, all mouth, no manifesto or blueprints. These leaders throw their hats in the ring only because they have the clouts or they have a useless godfather backing them. |
ocelot2006:Probably due to the dearth of plentiful pictures/video of African armed forces in general. The next best thing is the argument. Best believe it, this is what oils the cog of this thread. |
#Everything is sadly viewed from an ethnic prism. If you are going to be foolish with less than ideal dimished IQ, pointless quoting me cos I won't answer. Besides rebadging is a global practice. Honda Accord and Acura TSX are basically same. Only made in different countries. The most important bit is Innoson does have licence to produce like any other in the past. |
This was known in most circles. Its called badge reengineering. However still a mighty big risk for any business man to attempt car assembly in Nigeria on his own without government support, an area even Dangote has dared not. That's where he should be commended... |
ActivateKruger:Forgot to add the context, Wear and tear of war I guess. Those are frontline soldiers fighting BH. In other news, with deployment of soldiers and mechanised hardware to the SE, I hope rules of engagement are properly drilled down. Mishaps may scuttle any recently approved arms deal with the Americans. |
