The US. economy will shrink slightly in these next few quarters, but is expected to rebound somewhere in Q3 of 2009. Britain on the other hand will be the country most affected by this crisis, with Italy expected to surpass it in GDP! I'm not going anywhere soon though, so Viva Los Angeles! ![]() https://farm3.static.flickr.com/2251/1528656038_0d80f45f72_o.jpg |

I have no plans of leaving. . . . .at least not yet. I am not even half way done with schooling, why would I leave the good life just now? ![]() |

Getting high on HIV drugs in South Africa Anti-retroviral drugs used to treat HIV/Aids are being bought and smoked by teenagers in South Africa to get high. This is ridiculous. Thousands of people die each year from AIDS in S.A. each year, but they choose to smoke the medication as a drug! ![]() |
Jackstar:What the hell? I think you should go back and re-read my original assertion, and when you do, you'll realize I didn't say "I HATE" Australia, I'm just not fond of the country. I don't believe everything the media says either, I do my own research, but since you brought up the "media", can you explain why the Australian media is so obsessed with what they call "ethnic crime"? Here's a video put together by a news organization that investigated some reports by your media outlets. . . . . very interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uH684WWgi-8 Now, I never said all Aussies are racist, at all, so again, I recommend you re-read. I do however think some segments of your government and population are very discriminatory when it comes to accepting Black Africans. I think the exclusionary and selective measures the immigration minister put on Sudanese and other African immigrants was very discriminatory, and overtly racist. That doesn't mean I think all Australians are racist, or that all of Australia is a hotbed of racial tension, I'm just not fond of the country for this, amongst other things. But don't worry, you won't have to worry about seeing my black ass in Australia anytime soon. |
California has an extremely fast growing Nigerian community, primarily in Southern California and the S.F. Bay Area, with 25,000 alone in L.A. |
If this is your first time traveling outside the county, check out this site, it helped many people around me who were in your situation: http://www.globalvisas.com/ Global Visas was founded more than a decade ago with a mission to take the stress out of immigration. Created by a former Immigration Official who witnessed the difficulties facing individuals and organisations alike, Global Visas was established to help clients navigate the complexities of immigration and visa law.Very good services, and they get back to you next day. |
Maybe you're onto something. African-Americans are the same, with about 60% of African-American children not knowing how to swim. http://www.amren.com/mtnews/archives/2008/05/60_percent_of_b.php |
