myndofgold:Thanks. I have family who live in Carson, and it's not the hood. The "real L.A." isn't run-down and crime infested, but is a mix of many areas of different socio-economic backgrounds. Finding images of the not-so-nice areas of L.A. aren't easy to come by, but I'll post some. ![]() |
chyk91:Emirates Airlines have very affordable flights, but it depends on which days you choose to travel, and your budget. Here's their site, hopefully you find what you're looking for. Good Luck. http://www.emirates.com/ng/English/ |

ezeagu:If you're suggesting Nigeria should be split because of ethnic and language barriers, then I must say you shouldn't be so ignorant on the issue. There are so many more examples to counter your suggestion that Nigeria's split is imminent because of ethnic/language barriers. South Africa is a nation of numerous ethnicities, and languages, and they're still intact. Matter of fact, they have 11 Official Languages (Afrikaans, English, Southern Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Southern Sotho, Swazi, Tsonga, Tswana, Venda, Xhosa and Zulu), and many different ethnicities that make up that nation, and they're still intact. Other good examples are: The United States, Belgium, Canada, and Switzerland. These nations are all made up of numerous ethnicities, have more than one official language, and are still united. You saying Nigeria should split along language/ethnic lines is absurd, and is more of an excuse than a reason to say Nigeria should split in my opinion. |
Hasn't that fool been banned before? ![]() |
Where are the police and protection agencies when this is happening? Oh yeah, they're too busy beating women who are on their way from work, I forget. |
How many times does this topic have to appear? Replying to the OP, no, hopefully Nigeria doesn't split. Dividing this great nation is not the solution to our problems. Look at all the others countries who have had problems in their early years of existence (ie. United States, Spain). Nigeria is not even 50 years old, and we have our own people wanting to split us up. This nation has tremendous potential, and dividing the nation wouldn't solve anything but satisfy the many tribalists who think other tribes are holding them down. We are all Nigerian, forget the tribal divisions, when we go abroad, what are we? The answer is Nigerian. When someone of this country becomes one of the wealthiest persons in the world, what are they? The answer is Nigerian. When a consortium bids to buy a football club overseas, what are they? The answer is Nigerian. Nigeria Forever. |

This is a victory for all Americans and its inhabitants, not just Black or White Americans. Don't be so ignorant. |
@ poster, you are wrong. If you're suggesting America will fall because you think Obama is inexperienced, then you are flat out wrong. The man has extensive knowledge in foreign policy, and has the right judgment and temperament to be in that position. His Vice President Joe Biden is an expert in foreign policy also, so please don't underestimate the still forming Obama administration. This is just the beginning, give the man a chance. |
I agree with the previous comments, there is demand for skilled intelligent people like you back home. Why not return? ![]() |
lol, sorry if I offended you. ![]() |
Wow, how cowardly of them to beat a hard working woman, for such a minute issue. I hope everyone involved in this is dealt with very severely and get jail time, this is unacceptable in these days. |

Not trying to sound like an arse or anything, but London stinks. |
Midas02, this is a very ambitious plan, and I have to say you must have spent a great ordeal of time thinking this up. great job. |
Along with lowering trade tariffs between African and America, I think he should increase the numbers of refugees they let in, and create an "economic refugees" option, where people from extremely poor nations (<$1,500) can apply for refugee status, along with people who come from war-torn nations. So many of our people would be able to grasp the opportunity available in America. |
Anyways, I'm so happy that Barack has been nominated president. There is no excuse for anyone to say something is not possible, because we have seen the once unthinkable happen before our eyes. ![]() |
Stop spamming this great thread Nigeria1, go somewhere! ![]() |
!!!!!PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA!!!!!! |
@ bawomolo Can you see the Obama event from your residence? ![]() |
I CANNOT BELIEVE ME EYES! |
I see the conspiracy theorists are out in full effect tonight. ![]() |
KarmaMod:I couldn't agree more. I could stand a McCain presidency, but with Palin on the ticket, along with McCains health history, that crazy witch would destroy this nation with her extreme far right views. She is truly Bush in a Skirt. ![]() |
I know the results are just now starting to come in, but this is so intense. Abeg, please let no cheating be at hand. ![]() |
I sincerely hope Obama wins this, he is truly the change America needs. |
