Manchester United and Liverpool were supposed to play a crucial game around 4:30pm (Nigerian Time). The match was delayed as fans got into the stadium to protest against the recent decision of the Glazer's family to support Super league Football. It's all clear that fans felt cheated by the decision of the Football Management. However, it doesn't mean they have to protest right before the start of their Premier League clash against Liverpool. Ole Solksjaer's men are currently second on the Premier League table with seven points ahead of fourth placed Chelsea. On the other hand, Liverpool are under great pressure to qualify for Champions League football next season. Jorgen Klopp must win the game against United if he wants to qualify for CL football. With six points behind Chelsea, you would agree with me that they need to close the gap by clinching all three points against United. i think Liverpool should be given all three points because of the silly attitude of United's fans right before the kickoff. As football fans, you can't just decide to delay a crucial game because you feel indifferent about the decision of the Management. The fans of other top clubs are also not happy about the decision of their respective Clubs to join Super League. Why can't fans stop them from also playing their football match this week? what do you all think about this |

in Nigeria death is more cheaper than bread |
1. Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing ( Luke 23:34). 1. Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing ( Luke 23:34). Jesus came to this world to die because of the love he and his father have for we humans, and there is no better demonstration of that love than this statement of his. Anyone else would have spend his last hour before death thinking about himself, but was more concerned about those who are putting him to death. This is an important lesson in unselfishness and forgiveness. 2. Today you will be with me in paradise (Luke 23:43). Jesus made this statement to one of the thief who was being executed alongside him. The said thief admitted his wrong deed, accepted his deserved punishment and also showed remarkable faith in Jesus Christ in his worst moment. Jesus in turn rewarded him with a place in his coming paradise. We can learn a lot from this. 3. Woman, here is your son, and to the disciple, Here is your mother (John 19:26-27). Jesus show how unselfish he is with this statement of his. Death was right there with him, but instead of focusing on his own suffering, Jesus was more concerned about the long-term safety of his mother 4. My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me (Matthew 27:46). Many people who don't believe in the Bible always twist this statement of Jesus Christ to mean he was abandoned by God in his moment of needs, but that is not the case. Jesus already know he is going to be killed on earth. He made that statement to fulfil an earlier prophecy recorded in the book of Psalm 22:1 5. I am thirsty (John 19:28) That Bible verse already explained why Jesus made that statement. It was to fulfil earlier prophecies written in the Bible. Jesus request led to the fulfillment of Psalm 69:21 - "They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst." 6. It is finished (John 19:30). This statement of Jesus signifies an end to a successful earthly ministry. His death is meant to give us a path to forgiveness and Jesus was saying, I successfully completed the work I came to do. 7. Into your hands I commit my spirit (Luke 23:46). Jesus last statement shows the respect and trust he have in God. Jesus also know that only his heavenly father can resurrect him. Like Jesus, we are safer if we commit ourselves to God. |
