Mom123 contacted me via emails to add her to a bbm group chat on ttc. I did add her on my personal bbm after she was deleted cos a lot of people linked her to honeypie and her praise singers on NL. She then narrated her fertility issues and what she's done so far. I then asked her if she tried honeypie's protocol, she feigned ignorance of what I was talking about until I reminded her of her post on her testimony of honeypie's protocol that worked for her cousin who's about to put to bed. She was confused and said which one then disappeared for hrs and only wrote BRB. I waited for a while, over an hr or so b4 she came back and claimed she went to look for the post but couldnt find it. I also asked her how long shes been on NL and she replied that she joined just few months ago so I asked if she has another monikerr apart from Mom123 and she said no. So I started asking how come her very first post on June 28 she posted "good to be back on NL, Honeypie stop by once in a while now to say hello, how bori" and stuff like that. Unfortunately she has modified her posts and removed that part. I starting telling her how I and other nairalanders think she has a link with Honeypie since she cant remember a testimony she shared about Honeypie's protocol in less than 2m and instead of defending herself she kept saying God know this and I leave it up to God and quickly came her to post how she was wrongly accused. Also note that she's the same person as easydoesitnikky cos that is her BBM name.
So how come its so difficult for you to post that I am accusing you of links with Honeypie until a lot of people started asking you what happened? If you are not Honeypie and you dont know her, why did you modify most of your posts concerning her? You shared a testimony on Honeypie, yet just today you're asking who's she anyway? Madam MOM123, who"s easydoesitnikky that is your bbm name and you keep sharing her testimony of her giving birth soon on Honeypie's protocol? Why was it very easy for you to tell me "am not honeypie o" in my bbm chat with u even before we started any discussion about her? I havent even accused you of being Honeypie because the way you were calling God this and God that, I was almost fooled to think you might be innocent till i went to your NL profile and saw that most of the posts you had about her had been modified. Why did you do that if there's no link?
You think if you come here to shout you were wrongly accused it will change my opinion about you? #SMH

Mom123,
You should know what is eating me up. The mere fact that you posed as Mom123 aka Honeypie and easydoesitNikki and so many other monikerrs on NL to defraud unsuspecting nairalanders is what is eating me up. Trying to conceive is a stress and a challenge of its own so watching my fellow women being defrauded on Nairaland everyday just because they they are looking for a shoulder to lean on is what is eating me up and Blendy77 will not support injustice.
Honeypie has been going round trying to conceive women giving them different concortion in bottles and calling it her protocol sold for N60,000 with DHL shipping cost of N25000 and other additional costs. The sad and annoying part of this Honeypie stuff is that she tells them not to mention to other Nairalander that they are in touch with her except to sing her praises that her protocol worked. The saddest part is even the fact that she doesnt tell you the total amount of money you will pay for the concortions, she sends a bottle and starts disturbing you and treathening all sorts that you have 50k outstanding which must be paid or else...... She doesnt even tell you what you're drinking and a lot of women who drank the concortion has either fallen ill or worse off than when they started the so called protocol with her and once they inform her they dont want the concoction anymore, she sends her final bills of N50k outstanding which must be paid into one NNENA aka as Brandy Okoyo's acct
She has used this to terrorize a lot of women on this thread and the ttc thread and people keep sending me emails on this so I started following her closely by monitoring all those singing her praises that her protocol worked and that was how mom123/easydoesitNikki and others followed.

Mom123, you claimed I know what you're talking about and most of the people asking you what happened are the same people accusing you. Fine, it means you have mentioned the accusers which is BLENDY77 abi?. Why is it too difficult for you to mention what Blendy and co are accusing you of and who they claimed you're collaborating with? Are you scared of mentioning your collaborators because you're guilty of the accusations or God who you keep calling to fight for you also instructed you not to mention the names?
Since you brought this here, lets settle it once and for all. Blendy is accusing you of collaborating with Honeypie to defraud women on nairaland. Is that what is too difficult for you to say?

Edited, just saw your post that you have replied on what I am accusing you of.

Good news is that Dr Emeka does blast transfer as against 2-3 days transfer when he first started just that he collects extra moni for blast.

Unfortunately the op is right. Didnt you guys hear the broadcast by the Public Affairs Unit of Nnpc that one of its patients contacted it at first consultant hospital same time Mr Sawyer was on admission? The picture the op posted is nnpc hospital in VI where the patient was taken to b4 she tested positive to the virus and the ambulance was called to come and remove her from there. Ambulance with Health professionals clothed in that kind of clothing dont just go around just like that on a good day so have it at the back of your mind that Ebola is real and closer than you think. Take precaution against it, listen to news be informed, be aware and above all lets keep praying this thing doesnt get worse than this.

adorablemummy: PLEASE AM SORRY TO DERAIL THIS THREAD BUT I HAVE BEEN READING ALL THE POSTS HERE AND I APPRECIATE HOW YOU MOTHERS/FATHERS HAVE BEEN LOOKING OUT FOR 1 AND ANOTHER,,,PLEASE AM IN NEED OF ALL YOUR ADVISE,,PLEASE ,,i have posted in the family section but i also think posting here would help, once again so sorry to derail the thread..........
I have a 7 months old baby and require the services of a nanny but i have been encountering some issues :
1. First and foremost, i live very far away from my place of work and so i have to leave home by 4:30 am every week day to catch the staff bus (my resumption time at work is 6:30am and i get to work by 6:10 or 6:15am) my husband leaves home at about the same time too.
2. Secondly, we occupy a room and parlour apartment.
I would prefer to have a live-in maid as she would be able to sleep in the living room at night and change her clothes in the bathroom e.t.c but i recently had a bad experience with one sometime back when my baby was barely 4 months, she just woke up 1 morning when we were away at work and left my house without telling anybody her whereabouts, when she was finally found, she said she left cos she didn't want to work as a maid anymore. i was lucky i had my sister living with me then,,,i wonder if the maid would have left my baby all alone at home when she had her nervous breakdown.
Getting a nanny that would resume work by 4:20am to close for maybe 6/7pm has been impossible and me quitting work is out of the issue completely. My mother is not available to help me and am out of options,,,,,QUITTING MY JOB NOW WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE my husband's salary can barely take care of 1 person how much more 3/4 people,so i have to work to assist him. There are no proper daycare/crech around my area as i have checked and the available ones don't live in the school premises, so dropping the baby off that early is out of the issue.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO ,,,,,,My sister would be leaving for school at the end of the month and i dnt know how i'll care for my child while i work,i am so scared of getting another live-in maid and leaving the baby all alone with her as my sister has to go back to school after the ASUU strike has been called off.
Good people, please put yourselves in my shoe and give me a candid advise, there is a saying that a problem shared is half solved,,,I NEED YOUR ADVICE.

Maybe u should get an elderly live-in nanny to take care of ur baby. It might be a bit difficult with the kind of apartment u live in sha. Does ur compound have a security guard? If yes, he can also help in ensuring ur maid or nanny doesn't leave the compound when u're not around with little tips. With nannies and maids, one has to be extremely prayerful whether young or elderly ones. Just pray for God to give u a good one who has love for kids. Also try getting a maid from the east or ss, and if possible get those who have never worked in Lag before. The probabilty of running away is very slim with village recruit and also avoid giving them their salaries in cash. The best alternative to all of these is getting a good creche close to ur office. It will save u all the headache except additional stress of preparing the baby before 4.30am before u also get dressed for work also. They all have their pros n cons. All the best.

@pinkydaisy, ekabo!

Harbie congrats once more.

Fruitfulmama, it's God that gives o. The only thing Dr Emeka does differently from other hospitals I've used is the giving of antibiotics before the procedure, multivitamins for the man, pregnacare conception, aspirin n metformin for the woman. Don't know if he has added other things now. Meanwhile for this particular cycle that I got positive, the things I did differently were tubal flushing with a medical Dr, hysteroscopy, herbal detoxification and massage with local herbalists cos I had recurrent discharge for a long time and serious fasting n prayers. So my sister, I can't categorically tell u which one worked exactly apart from the fasting n prayers so it's Still God that gives cos there are a lot of people who didn't do any of these n got bfp at first attempt.
Hysteroscopy as far as am concerned is waste of money especially if u don't have fibroids n polyps seen during scan.

Am seriously MIA, been busy with my soldiers as my Nanny is away for the hols, hardly have time for the internet. Happy new year everyone!!!

Very BIG congratulations to Harbiee, thank God for you and your family. I wish you a stress free 9m and healthy twins and triplets. God who started this journey with you will see you thru to the end. Congrats!!!

Honybony, A big AMEN to your prayers. by God's grace, we shall celebrate you and other Mummies on this thread this year in Jesus Name.

Dara&Dumi, check google for alll info you need on IUI. The procedure and what it entails. Most fertility hospitals charge between 120k and 180k with drugs inclusive. I know its not up to N200 sha. Regenesis is good, as we've heard lots of testimonies from that angle, Georges is also good with IUI, Medcal Art and St Ives. dont know if they do it at Bridge but you can check for their nos. online and call them up. All the best.

Sexy CY, congrats to you too. Why did your mum ask you to stop the cyclo? Is she aware you did ivf? If yes, was the ivf free of charge that you're gambling with this pregnancy? Anyways, like others have already advised, continue with your cyclo religiously as in religiously cos you're goin to be on it for the next 3m except you decide to go for PIO injectibles which is even more painful. Maybe you dont know the suprefact injection you took before FSH is to put your natural cycle on hold, meaning there is no natural proesterone from any part of your body to support your baby until he/she starts producing theirs thru the placenta so my Dear, before you start listening to your mum, google and your Drs are your best bet. All the best.

Arisolama taking a loan for IVF is not a good investment decision I'll advice anyone to embark on. That is because IVF is one roller coaster ride that you cant predict its outcome even when all parameters are in order. Even after 40, you can still get pregnant via IVF. At least I have shared one of my Boss's testimony of twins@52 and also a lady I met last Dec during my antenatal that brought her daughter and 10bags of rice to celebrate with Georges staff. The lady cant be less than 60+ and thank God another nairalander was also there the day she came.
Like Safe said, use a very good hospital when you can afford it while praying for a miracle thru natural BFP (there's nothing God cannot do, blocked tubes or not). If you still want to take the loan, then I'll add that you use a back up since you're already thinking of surrogacy. that is transfering to both you and your surrogate and make sure you use someone that has given birth before to increase your chances. All the best my Sister, your case is not the worse jare so no need to feel down casted.

We have seen situations on this thread where people who had spotting still went ahead to deliver life babies so keep praying and dont give up too soon.

Answer to your question is ignorance. Plain ignorance my Sister. I have had colleagues, friend and very close relatives (including my sister)who rejected CS and after hours of prolonged labour were still operated upon to save life of mother and child. If you ask them today why they rejected CS even after their Dr had told them its the last resort, the only answer they give is "I didnt know CS was like that".
A colleague of mine was told she can only deliver thru CS because her baby was breech. According to her, she decided to have the baby in her church (apostolic church or so) cos her pastor told her she will die if she delivers thru cs in the hospital. She was in labour for over 10 days in the church and couldnt give birth and in the process the baby died and she woke up in the hospital after going into comma. Ask me if this lady and her spouse are not graduates that cant read and write? Whenever this arguement comes up in the office, she still maintains that she would have died if she had delivered that baby via CS in the hospital. She has not been able to conceive since then. First class ignorance.

Omortolah: hmmmm i think that wil be a bit difficult and waste of money

My Dear, going to see a Dr over menstrual problems is no waste of time and money. Are you married? Married or not, you need to know what the problem is and resolve it once and for all. It could be you're not ovulating or other health issues. Taking drugs or herbal mixtures without knowing the cause of your menstrual problems is not to your favour.

If you developed a swollen eye without a blow or an accident and your child is already having the symptoms, its possible you came in contact with someone who has apollo. Go and see your Dr or pharmacist, let them look at it. There are eye drops that clears it within days.

Muti babe pls listen to ur MIL. Its for your own good. I also have twin boys and I was given same advise too when I wanted mine to start learning how to sit at 3m. The major reason given to me then was that, boys are different from girls interms of teaching them how to seat because at that age, their scrotum abi testis has not fully dropped and when they start learning too early it affects them. I had to wait till 5m to teach them and luckily, they were prepared for it cos within a week and 2weeks, there were already sitting on their own and one of my boys started walking at 8months 2wks. So my point is no matter how late they start sitting down, the rest will follow suit.

Health / Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Blendy77(f): 4:49pm On Nov 22, 2013
Wazoboy, for your kind of case and like what Nogen has said, I think IUI might more or less be a waste of money and time. If you have a budget of N500k, why not go to Unilorin and other teaching hospitals where they recently started IVF and you might be surprised, it will cost you just half of your budget. IUI for N500k is even on the high side as its done here in Lag for less than N200k but then its not for candidates with sperm issues as you cant be guranteed of fertilization unlike IVF/ICSI where you are sure the eggs are fertilized b4 transfer. I read recently that Uniilorin teachng hospital has started IVF and even given birth to their first ivf baby. Meaning they must stated ivf since late last yr or early this yr.
National hospital does it as well and its less than N400k though cant vouch for their success rate. Even here in Lag, there is a clinic called regenesis where IVF is about N350k, ICSI N450 tough your drugs are not inclusive. My brother, we are not trying to discourage you but its better to do it right and pray for results at first attempt instead of burning that much on IUI when you're not too sure of implantation.
Even if you decide to do IUI, please find a good hospital like the one Inwangobio and Oviasouth used. Though am not sure of their iui price, but I doubt if its up to half of what you've budgeted.
