PLEASE ILD APPRECIATE SUGGESTION OF SCHOOLS IN AUSTRALIA I CAN APPLY TO WITHOUT PAYING TUITION UNTIL I ARRIVE AUSTRALIA. THANK YOU Then continue with your studies in Germany or try USA because no school in Australia will issue eCOE for you without part or full payment of your first semester. fheyizsmart: I received a 20% tuition scholarship from Deakin after my COE was issued and also I have applied for my visa. Is it needed to attach the scholarship letter as a supporting doc or not necessary as the scholarship doesn't reflect on the submitted COE and school wont be issuing an update but I was told the scholarship is already keyed into my records. What you actually got is discount, Deakin normally used that strategy to attract international students and no cause for alarm immi is aware of the situation. |

Meanwhile, i am an international News freak and i have watched where it was said in Al Jazeera that Asians usually gets such visa to Aussie and receives salary under table. Although they will be over laboured but it works for them.
But here in NL, we follow the due process, because with it, no story will be heard ,no scam is recorded, and no bad name is giving to the country Nigeria
Note: If the Agent files wrong information and you are denied, going legally becomes a High BP thing. Turkish, Vietnamese, Indians and Chinese business owners most especially food related business like restaurants exploit this opportunity by bringing in their people with the claim that they couldn't find chefs who can prepare their delicacies satisfactorily. People are being sponsor from Poland and other eastern European countries to work as labor in construction industry etc likewise during the mining boom, some companies go as far as South Africa and some East African countries to sponsor people to work in the mines. The question is has he gotten a verifiable job offer before paying such amount in the name of working visa? |

Amalahajames: I just paid an agent today to help secure for me a I year work permit Australian visa.. We agreed on 1.4m and I transferred 700k to him today,, he only requested for my passport data page and two passport photographs.. I hope this is real, still have my fears until my Visa is out.. You have been scammed, retrieve your money if its not too late. Have you been offered a job? Because there is nothing like work permit without job offer and is a thing you can do by yourself if you got a job offer (which is very hard from naija) by applying for visa subclass 482. My question: I have been given a conditional offer of admission to the University of Tasmania (UTAS) and as part of the conditions to be fulfilled, I was told to appoint a registered agent who will declare to a GTE SSVF Declaration form. I applied to the school personally, does this apply to me? Is it must that I still approach an agent even though I carried out the whole process myself? I anticipate a quick response from the gurus on here. Since you are referred to an agent by the school, no two ways about it. |

Tomtina: I'm new here. I have an Msc microbiology, I intend applying as a PhD student with my wife as a dependant. We plan that she goes for graduate nursing program since she has B.Engr already. Please what are our chances of getting visa grant and do we necessarily need Ielts? Msc isn't pocket friendly talkless of PhD unless you are on scholarship or financial bouyant enough to fund your research, and as regard your wife, GTE won't fly for someone with engineering degree going for graduate entry in a different field but there's a way out just that it will cost you money and time. Let her apply for Msc in engineering related degree, and in her first semester, she should drop course to barest minimum thereby saving money and apply to another institution for graduate entry while onshore. You will surely need IELTS along the line. |

Mcslize: I don't think Mechanical Engineering occupation is that competitive. Check if you are eligible for 190. Secure your superior English scores. Apply and remain patient for your ITA. You will surely get ITA. But it may take up to 7 to 8 months, depending on the number of applicants that are applying for that occupation. Mechanical Engineering is competitive and the minimum point for ITA 189 is 85points base on last round of invitation. https://deltaimmigration.com.au/Mechanical-Engineer/233512.htm190 comes with conditions Victoria required at least 5years proven working experience. South Australia - No chain migration and must be living in the state for at least 6months. Tasmania has its own conditions likewise others. His best bet is 491. |

rume: Haha, no chance then. I suppose in this situation, one may try 190, though I suspect the same competitive issue would arise. 190 may still be long thing depending on conditions attached to it by states, focus on the new 491 that will commence on the 14th of next month. |

rume: Assuming the following points were in the bag: Age. 30 points Education. 15 points English. 20 points
Totalling 65 pts
What do you think one's ITA chances are with 189 if nominated occupation is Mechanical Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.
I wonder if the points total is competitive enough. With the present situation, for you to come any close to 189 ITA in Engineering related occupation you will need nothing less than 80/85points. |

Mcslize: Congratulations!
You got it with 65 points. Yes, my observation so far is that if an applicant is able to secure superior English scores, he or she will surely get ITA judging by New South Wales State and Victoria state. One just need to be patient.
Congrats one more. Go and conquer the land of milk and honey. You failed to notice that her occupation is less competitive as compare to IT or accounting. |

dubaiprince: Please i need a candid advice. I am married with three kids (5,3 and 1). I stay in Lagos and my salary is about 10 million per annum with bright chances this will increase yearly in terms of salary reviews and promotions as I work with a big four. In short I can current afford to send my kids to good schools and take care of my family's basic needs. Would it be advisable to take a job offer in Australia (most likely sydney) for 80 to 85k AUD per annum pre-tax and live comfortably there with my family? An average decent 2/3 bedroom to accommodate you & your family is around $1,500 per month, that is $18,000/annum, utilities bills excluded. With the size of your family, budget an average of $250 on groceries weekly which is $1000 per month and $12,000 annually. These two alone is like $30,000 in a year which is large portion of your targeted income. Even with PR your kids education won't be entirely free and a lot of unforseen circumstances so have it in mind that you will live averagely just like every other person. |

Addenn: Greetings everyone, please I need your advice on this complicated issue of mine. I have an unconditional offer(full offer) from Monash university to study master of public health. On the other hand, I have a conditional offer that will require me to do a one year program and pass before being eligible to study master of social work in university of Tasmania. I just concluded my NYSC early this year and do not have any work experience in either field though still looking at getting a volunteer work experience on any. I have my first degree in biology education though with an outstanding cgpa. Please, what will you advice me to do for easy visa processing and with PR in mind as I do not know if public health can give a good chance towards PR. Help a brother please. Your contribution will be highly appreciated. Cc: bligs, WestAfrican, akinke, sollej and others. Presently Public health is not on the skillselect list while social work is on the list and you stand a chance of state sponsorship if you study in Tasmania, the only advantage of studying in Monash is availability of more jobs opportunities to support yourself in Melbourne as compare to Hobart. Overall i will advise you to opt for Tasmania since PR is your aim in which you can relocate in the future, a lot of students are caught in a crossroad while some are even moving to regional areas after finishing school in the big cities. |

Secondly, what about if the person after much application and couldn't get any, what is his faith in living there. You hunt for job like every other person. You opt for casual jobs to keep body, mind and soul together while hoping for a better job. |

Tho av got plans to switch course to IT proper when I arrive in Australia. Best of luck with your plan. Glowing1: Graduate entry in nursing or Master in accounting, which would be easier to get a PR? What's ur advice Obviously its nursing, you can go the way of enrolled nurse, registered nurse, clinical nurse before advancing to midwife but convincing DIBP that you are a genuine temporary entrant for graduate entry in nursing is the issue haven got a degree in a different field. chaiks: Hello house, I just got admitted to University of Tasmania for master's in public policy in RMIT And master's in development studies in University of Melbourne. My application to university of technology Sydney (MSc project management) is still in process . My question here is will UTS be a better option cos it's an AL1 school while WSU is AL2. Am asking this because my application to WUS was done by an agent while UTS accepts direct applications. So the agent is already advising I accept the offer . Unless your Bsc is on skillselect list otherwise change program because Project Management won't lead to PR other than two years post study work visa. |

lordragner: Thank you so much. I really appreciate this. I would like to know if there are other regional areas that offer equivalent PR benefits as Tasmania. Say in Victoria (Melbourne), South Australia. or NSW. Victoria sponsor only PhD in selected profession if you considering study and very hard to get regional Victoria sponsorship and likewise some regional areas of NSW sponsor certain professions with conditions. If you study in Northern Territory, Tasmania or Southern Australia you are covered by state sponsorship provided that your course is on their skillselect list. |

lordragner: gurus in the house your opinion is needed. my cousin wants to for his msc in cybersecurity in Melbourne, Australia, his goal is to study, get PR and build a career and a life for himself there. However an agent recently advised that he goes to Tasmania due to the PR benefits associated with the region. We looked up tasmania and have discovered that the University of Tasmania only has an M.Sc in Information Technology which is generalist as against him specialising in cybersecurity and also getting jobs (IT) and good accommodation isn't easy for locals in tasmania talkless of foreigners compared to other parts of Australia. what do you guys think? is tasmania a good option?
CC bligs What i will suggest is that he should opt for Tasmania due to PR, will the look of things subclass 189 isn't easy to get presently because from this month round of invitation, only 100 applicants are invited with the least point of 85 as against last year August whereby 2,400+ applicants were invited and also getting a PR from IT related course is highly competitive. Schooling in Tasmania will give him the opportunity of state sponsorship as well as regional sponsorship without much ado. A lot of people are moving to regional areas after finishing school in the big cities, in fact a friend of mine just moved yesterday. Won't say much about employment, people maneuver base on their circumstances. |

If i can get contributions for people that were recently granted dependant visa or people that are currently on it , i will be happy.
We dont have $$$ to spend on my tuition for masters ( thats the only level i can apply for as i have more than a BSC already) its just that we wast the fatest solution to staying apart. I know someone that got her dependant visa in May, she's already in Oz, he should have included you in the visa application of his second program. Your best bet is to apply for dependant and hope for the best just that the chance is 50/50 due to recent high rate of rejection, another option is to wait till the end of his program and include you in his application for 485. |
