Yourprick: Yeah dollar at 1200 but why do they keep buying it, aren't you scared Naira might start gaining, our highest imported item is petroleum products and the fg promised a refinery in December, what happens when we stop importing fuel and start refining won't the Naira start gaining? What's the essence of saving in dollars?or you think dollars would keep gaining for the next 4 years lol We are also importing education greatly |
Business › Re: Traders At Alaba Rago Marker Rush To Clean-up The Market (Pictures) by Bluffly: 8:40am On Oct 25, 2023 |
obi58: Lagos government should also look into the terrible condition of our major roads especially those around markets. Virtually 98% of access roads to markets in Lagos are in deplorable condition. Lasg officials turn a blind eye to this when going to collect tax and seal up these markets for infractions. Government is supposed to be of service to its citizens not a dictatorship.
We just saw how Zulum renovated a market and handed it back to the traders in his state. Can't Lagos replicate this example or does Zulum have 2 heads?
We complain about dirty markets.... Till date people still dump refuse on major roads sometimes in the middle of roads because there are little or no community waste bins provided and where they are provided they are not evacuated as at when due. We won't hear of sanctions to the PSPs assigned to cover that area instead the people will be sanctioned as always. Zulum rebuilt a burnt market and not renovation. |

Family › Re: My Wife Constantly Denies Me Sex by Bluffly: 10:11pm On Oct 24, 2023 |
Ogalanyaidi: I have been married for a little under 2 years. During out courtship, my wife and I were very intimate. Later on, she became pregnant and we welcomed a child but since then, our sex live has never recovered till date. My wife is currently pregnant but the denial didn't start today.
She does everything possible to prevent us from having sex, from laying our child on our bed instead of the court to cleaning or watching movies in the lounge room whenever I am in the room, she will then reenter the bedroom when i am asleep. The last time, she said that I don't do enough to get her arose and that if I want sex I have to earn it. She suggested that I have to start in the morning by being nice to her so when it's night, I would have been able to get her arose.
I work an average of two shifts everyday, and sleep at home maybe 3 nights a week so I can pay our mortgage and other bills as she barely works due to having to look after our child. Please practice ignoring her and make her understand that if she wants your care as well she should earn it. As if you are the only one to enjoy the sex. What nonsense. A good wife should not stress the husband over sex. |

Lifestone: Terrible comparison. Liberia has only about 5,800 polling units in the entire country. With less than 3million registered voters and total land size of about Niger State. The comparison doesn't make sense. Nigerians always looking for ways to bring down their Country. The Liberia election is smaller than some State Election Get sense. It is not a comparison but a submission. Irrespective of size, it can be adopted. Nigerians are perishing because our info system is obscure |

Truths9ja: More Trouble For Governor Sule As Group Urge UK, EU To Impose Visa Ban On Him, UNIJOS VC *** A Civil Society Organization, Civil Liberties Organization (CLO), has petitioned the international community including 11 powerful countries to impose strict sanctions and visa ban on Governor Abdullahi Sule and Professor Ishaya Tanko (VC Of UNIJOS) for their roles in the March 18 gubernatorial elections in Nasarawa State.
The CLO revealed that it has formally sent petitions to the government of the United States of America, the UK, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, China, Saudi Arabia, Australia, South Africa and the European Union through their Embassies in Nigeria to that effect.
Showing copies of the petitions to the media, the president, Mr Igho Akeregha, warned that it was time to rein in anti-democratic elements who are bent on sabotaging Nigeria’s democracy with impunity, TheGuardian reports.
