Anywhere but in a gathering of saints.

He can address it in his universities or he can call a conference.

Church is for the serious business of salvation.

In that case, everyone is a hypocrite, including you.

Are you not biased? You most likely also blamed the last government but want to make excuses for the present government.
Anyone can understand my bias, since I don't spill it in the gathering of saints. But from a so-called man of God from whom much is expected, it is hard to understand.

Bro when the trend went viral about a new man called buhari with differences brought, it has left many Nigerians confused...

And as a president, he should have got up to address the issue, instead he kept quiet...

He is a Nigerian too, and a concerned one cos any one can draw an extract from the newspaper publication..

In his statement, he only asked buhari to come out and address the people
So, the church is the place to address political issues?

The Bible gave guidelines on what to do when we come together as a church.

The sooner you people come to terms with who these so-called pastors are, the better it would be for Christianity.

Please, not all Nigerians are stupid. This man is no different from a politician.

Errmm...Nigeria's secularist is only on paper. In reality, we are a multireligeous society and there's tons of evidence to back that claim everywhere you turn. I haven't read or heard you take the same stance against Fr. Mbaka.

Also, I believe you would expect these pastors to stand against injustice, wouldn't you? I also believe that you know that they are also Nigerians like you, and reserve the right to air their views on political issues affecting the polity, many of whom are his congregants.
I have never supported any pastor's political views on or outside Nairaland.

I don't have a problem with Oyedepo condemning injustice, I only have a problem with his selective way of condemning it.

If it is PDP, he doesn't condemn the government but if it is APC, he has a field's day. If that is not hypocrisy, then what is?

Yet you have problems with him challanging the present mismanagement of the APC.

Stop deceiving yourself.
I don't have a problem with him challenging mismanagement.

But I have a problem with his hypocrisy.

The reason why I am criticising him is because he is biased.

When killings were going on under PDP, this man would curse the killers and say nothing to the government of the day.

But with APC, there is always an excuse to mention Buhari.

I don't understand why women can hit men but men are not allowed to hit women.

This nonsense is even promoted in movies. A wife will slap her husband and the husband will just walk away. But a husband will slap his wife and the police will be on his neck.

I am saying this because women are now becoming unnecessarily aggressive. Any small argument, they will be ready to slap you.

This is not good at all. Our daughters must not be brought up this way. They must understand that there are consequences for every action. If you assault a man, don't be shocked if you receive a slap that will make you go deaf for a week.

All of you who peddle this sh*t are irredeemably stupid. You are the fake Christians the bible keeps harping about. David was the king of isreal (equivalent of modern day president, more powerful even), and was called a man after God's heart. Elijah & Elisha were in direct conflict with the king and queen of the Israelites in their time and you didn't give up. Moses went up against the president of the world in his time (Pharoah) and you sing his praises till tomorrow. The most baffling is that your vice president today is a pastor!!! And you are so utterly shameless as to turn a blind eye to that!! Having the audacity to tell another man of God to stop talking politics, all because you don't like what he has to say. To you and your ilk I say, go to hell and burn to nothingness!!! Foo*ish fo*ls.
Bro, can you honestly compare Oyedepo with any of the prophets of the Bible who challenged the authorities?

Oyedepo is evidently bias, which was never the case with the prophets of old. It is not hard to see that Oyedepo supports PDP. He is involving himself in partisan politics. The prophets of old never did that. They had no personal affiliations. They could challenge anybody. I am still waiting for Oyedepo to challenge PDP for their years of mismanagement.

Lastly, Israel of old was very different from Nigeria. Israel was a theocracy so it was expected that prophets would meddle with the authorities.

However, Nigeria is a secular state. It is best if men of God stay neutral. They should condemn evil and wicked acts without taking sides with one political party against another.

When someone cheats, face them, not the person they cheated on you with.

Women are fond of this, attacking their husbands/boyfriends' side chicks.

For Christ's sake, have some dignity. Relationship is not a do-or-die affair.

if it is easy go and open ur church as ask people to give u their hard earned money lets see how far you would go.

pastor enenche has been making sacrifices and would continue to.he practices the principles he teaches. moreover the principles I have learnt from Dunamis is a life saver. it has impacted my life in so many realms

do you know much much the pastor gives. you are seeing the blessings are u r calling it business. oga u would see more growth in his life. like I said the worst you can do is what u r doing now. nothing more. ranting with your free 250mb

what suprises me is that why is it hurting u so much seeing the church grow. did they come and collect money from your hand.bros, abeg tell me

I know the level I was financially, spiritually and otherwise... I am seeing growth everywhere since I came under this commission

true some unscrupulous people got into ministry to dupe people but that doesn't make every pastor fake. abi because he is operating in God's massive wealth that makes him fake? mbok? answer me

let this ur hate continue, chairman you would see more. not just Dunamis but many others ministries God called would continue to grow astronomically. you ain't seen nathin' yet

while you dey for der dey nack teeth dey form wetin I nor know, people's lives are getting blessed, Thousands of people added to God's Kingdom, sinners dropping their sinful habits, burdens lifted everyday, miracles happening every day like water, God is constantly being glorified!!!

what modesty are talking about

pastor enenche preaches in 6 services every Sunday. each service has over flow of members
the burden has been taking its toll on him

is it not logical to want to move to a bigger place

Mr man, who are u to tell the church how to spend it's money

u that know how to spend money, what is ur impact.who know you. who u epp
Oh, so it is now a matter of "burden taking a toll on him"?

So, the gospel is now a burden? That is what happens when a man becomes a pastor just to make money. People have forgotten that the pastoral calling is a calling of sacrifices. It is not a calling of luxury. If it were, all the apostles of Christ would have profited from it.

Jesus told a rich man to sell his property and follow Him. That is the calling. A calling of sacrifices. But today, men now become billionaires by becoming pastors. Imagine Paul becoming a billionaire while there were a lot of poor people in the Jerusalem church.

The lifestyle of today's pastors is the reason why a lot of people now want to become pastors. They see it as a shortcut to wealth.

The pastoral calling has become so mundane that people now see it as business.

The world you are supposed to be winning over now mocks you.

SportsRe: Tyson Fury Vs Deontay Wilder: When Is The Fight? Date? Time? Venue? by BluntBoy(m): 4:25pm On Dec 01, 2018
jelel6:
The guy you quoted said Wilder is "extremely good", you disagreed, probably because you claim he lacks basic boxing skills. And it will be difficult to justify calling him " extremely good".

But then, you then went ahead and call him an "Embarrassment to the division", how do you justify that?

He may not have face many elite opponents, but he's a champion (undefeated) and that has to count for something. If he's undeserving of his belt, I think that says a lot more about the current state (level) of the heavyweight division than it says about Wilder himself!

Wilder is a good enough boxer. He's not the most technical, or the most classy, or the best strategist. But he's a heavyweight who has that one Punch that could drop any opponent in a match ( probably the hardest puncher in the division ) and that's what has brought him this far.

Something got every other boxer to where they are presently in their careers. And I don't see what's embarrassing about that.
Don't mind him.

It is not even Wilder's fault that he doesn't have big names on his stat. It was not his fault that some of the big names he was billed to fight failed drug tests. He may not be a refined or skillful boxer like Joseph Parker or a defensive tactician like the Klitschko brothers but there is more to boxing than just skills. There is raw power too and no one can deny that Wilder can punch.

The truth is that the heavyweight division has dropped in quality since the likes of Lennox Lewis left the stage. But why should Wilder be singled out for blame?

As for bout with Tyson Fury, I always tell people that a fight with either Fury or Wilder can go either way. Fury is an awkward fighter who is hard to catch (the fight with Wladmir comes to mind) but there are not enough fights to prove that he can take a punch, the type that Wilder would be throwing. He is also very careless, a characteristic which stems from his overconfidence. That may turn out to be his undoing should Wilder land his powerful right.

As for Wilder, he throws windmills and always lets himself open. Fury might capitalize on this. Wilder always gives himself away as a very unskilled boxer. However, I doubt if Fury can put him down on the canvas.

Came back from work after a long day. I haven't been on nairaland for like two days so I was hopeful to see good news and new + interesting content only to see countless mention from nairaland males
I just said my mind about a man who ditched a woman who helped him and married another and look at how those dudes came for me. I wanted to reply but it would be futile and I let it rest. Even the mods hid my comment.
All I'm saying is that, males hate women who have a different and better opinion from theirs. They feel threatened and try to vanquish her. Thats why feminism will always be a thorn in their flesh.

Ladies, learn how to develop a thick skin. Males will respect you if you do. Take Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey as an example.
I don't see what feminism has to do with this.

Haven't you ever quarrelled or felt like quarrelling with someone because your opinions differed?

Why play the gender card? I have had women come for men here too over domestic violence or promiscuity.

The truth is that a lot of people argue to win and thus hate to accommodate differing opinions.

It is hardly a gender thing.

why is it foolish to use publication dates?
The first rule is that your work is copyrighted the very instance you create it.

In the UK and many other countries, copyright is an automatic right. Once you create your work, it is automatically copyrighted. It is automatically recognized as your work.

What some writers do is to email their work to themselves. The email will carry a date so that when you ever have to defend your copyright, you can prove that you have written your work before the person that plagiarized it.

The reason why it is foolish to use publication date is that it doesn't prove that a book was written first.

If Writer A finishes a work in 1990 but does not publish and Writer B lifts a passage from Writer A's manuscript and adds it to his own book and then publishes his book in 1995. If eventually Writer A publishes his own book in 1996, it may appear like he plagiarized Writer B when in fact it was Writer B that plagiarized him.

So, publication date does not prove anything.

You are beating about the Bush.
According to you Buhari can not effect some changes whil Morocco can , is because we operate Democracy ?
And I ask you , is it same Buhari who has no regard for rule of law, under whose watch likes of NNPC have been spending unapproved money?
I never said democracy. I said presidential system of government.

It took 10 years for an absolute monarchy to develop a fast train project. With a presidential system of government, decision may not be so swiftly executed. Especially in Nigeria.

The NNPC or a disregard for court orders is not the same as passing and accepting bills relationship that exists between the legislative arm and the executive arm.

People disregard court orders using different means. It is not a new thing in Nigeria, especially if you are powerful. A powerful pastor did against Kemi Olunloyo by hastening a bench warrant.
