Women!!! You are jealous that I had a crush on a girl ![]() Don't worry, it was in the past. ![]() |
millhouse:Imagine such nonsense. And if you go and check her very well, you will see that her parents may not even own a car. Reminds me of one Janet back in the university. I had a crush on her. We exchanged numbers only for me to hear that she saved my number as Jalopy because I drove a Mercedes Benz 200 while I was in school. This girl even once dragged me in front of her friends calling my car jalopy and me a poor man. Before we graduated, her father fell seriously ill and it was during that time that we knew that her father did not even own a car and that her mother hawks pepper. And such a person had the mind to be condescending. |
trumpcard57:The Lord has established His Church while false teachers have established their own churches too. The True Church of Christ has no brand name and was not established by a man. It was established by Christ on the foundation of the Apostles with Christ Himself as the Cornerstone. The True Church does things in one accord . |
veeveejay:Who is Adeboye? Is Adeboye's teaching superior to the teachings of the Apostles ![]() Why can't you study the Word of God yourself I wasn't the one that wrote the Bible verses that I provided. Have you examined the teachings of Adeboye in line with the Gospel of Christ? |
veeveejay:Listen, young lady, if you don't want the wrath of God to descend on you in full measures, desist from spreading heresies. The Bible was explicit about what the Gospel of Jesus Christ was. It is the Good News which has redeemed us from the bondage of the profitless Laws of Moses and reconciled us with our Father in Heaven. Why are you trying to return people into the bondage of the Law which Christ painstakingly liberated us from? So Christ has truly set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law. (Galatians 5:1) The Gospel of Christ includes His death and His Ressurection. It is the Good News which has reconciled us with God. Anyone who preaches a contrary gospel is cursed: Let God's curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you. (Galatians 1:8 ) My sister, be careful so you don't suffer God's wrath. There is only one Good News and it has nothing like first fruits or tithes. To truly show that you love God and trust Him, you need to remember the needy ones among you and stay free from the pollution of this wicked and evil world: Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. (James 1:27) |
HigherEd:But where is that true church Christ said "I will build my church", not churches. And in truth, the true church has no brand name. |
Daeylar:Always do well to read before commenting. That excruciatingly stupid and obviously intolerant Adekunle Gold did not use the word animals on just those who said she was probably indecently dressed. He used the word generally on those who refused to believe Fapson's story. Check his tweet and highlight the words "other animals". In other words, according to that nitwit, those who abused Fapson and those who thought she must have been probably indecently dressed are animals. Would you still think that stupid, thoughtless boy as right? |
People need to open their eyes. Oyedepo is a false teacher, a thief, a charlatan. He is a false Christ; the very opposite of Christ. He is arrogant and boastful. Every day, they keep exposing themselves yet their followers cannot decipher. |

Estharfabian:You are back. |
tonio2wo:My brother, the truth is that Suleman had something with her. She is doing all this because she knows she would lose no matter what. It was the same thing that Kemi Olunloyo thought about. You can only win cases against pastors in developed countries where the law is relatively less biased and much more competent. In Nigeria, pastors like Suleman are powerful and fighting them is a waste of time and resources. |
lastmessenger:Read my post again. I feel like I have wasted my time. |
lastmessenger:It is not just tithe that makes them false teachers. It is the way they pervert the gospel and make mockery of the Gospel of Christ. The Apostles were explicit when they said any gospel contrary to the one they teach is false. Truthfully, the apostles were themselves trained by Christ Himself. Paul was the only other one called specially. So, all nonsense doctrines such as first fruits, kingdom covenants, perversion of tithing laws, etc. etc., are blatantly false teachings perpetuated by false teachers such as the ones you listed in your post. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse! (Galatians 1:8 ) The disciples didn't teach tithing (it couldn't have been an oversight), they didn't teach first fruits, they didn't talk about secrets of unlocking covenant glory like Oyedepo, they never told us that some Christians would be specially called to establish churches. What is the Gospel of Christ? It means the Good News which entails Christ's death and Ressurection reconciling us to God. If you preach anything other than this, you are a false teacher, a charlatan, a hireling who has the job because of his stomach but who would abandon the sheep when a wolf attacks. |
gannod:He has chosen which news to be actively involved with. The perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ is as much a pressing issue as the herdsmen killings. Since Freeze has made himself useful somehow, what is stopping you from using your own Twitter or Instagram page to vehemently condemn terrorism? |
lastmessenger:The ministers are false teachers and it is the responsibility of every sane and true Christian to call them out for what they are. Was John the Baptist gentle with the religious sects of his days? Was Jesus mild in his criticism of the Pharisees? False teachers are not merely our weak brothers who need to be rebuked with love. They are sons of perdition who want others to join them to lose their souls at the end of time. |
makydebbie:You also right, my Queen. |
makydebbie:I think he is right, Maky. If we all were minding our business, no one would comment on this thread. Nairaland would have no members since it is Seun's business and not ours. There won't be anything like opinions or trade or even education, since education comes from interacting with the environment. In short, life would not exist as we know it. |
BushWickBill:It is just so sad, my brother. These sheeple are like babies. They do not know friends from enemies. They do not know that we are trying to save them from the bondage of false Christianity. How can someone suffer such double tragedies: live in ritualistic slavery after all Christ went through to redeem us? This Bible verse ought to minister to the sheeple but they don't read much and depend solely on the perverted interpretations from their gods of men: It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1) What pains me most about this false Christianity is the sort of disdain with which these so-called pastors regard their followers. The pastor's chair always stands out in the church building and no one dares question him. He bullies his followers at will and blatantly demands veneration. They expect to be called pastors and to be respected, even when they have not merited it. Anyone who goes against them (even if he is a Christian) is immediately branded the devil or as being used by the devil to fight the Church. Such arrogance!!! |

orbis:The friends I have don't brag. I don't know where this blanket statement about men bragging about yansh came from. Even Chimamanda, while stating the sort of feminism she is advocating for, said that she wanted women to be like men when they gather. According to Adichie, when men gather, they talk about politics, sport, business money, e.t.c. But when women gather, they talk about men. Adichie said she would like women to gather and talk about girlie things rather than men. I agree with Adichie because the friends I have don't brag about being with multiple girls. And lastly, that some men brag does not mean a thread such as this should be encouraged. I know Jamariwolf is just being a troll but we have kids on Nairaland and this info is just enough encouragement to delve into prostitution. Prostitution is bad for many reasons, the most evident being the likelihood of a spread of STDs and STIs. |
Yes, the average Nigerian pastor is a manipulator. They display evidences of narcissistic personality disorder. I will highlight the major attributes of a manipulator: Vilifying the Victim: Oyedepo slaps a girl and then vilifies her. Diversion plus evasion: Biodun Fatoyinbo/Ese saga comes to mind. Convert Intimidation: Suleman told his followers to cut off ties with anyone who believed Otobo's allegation against him. Also, an average Nigerian pastor uses "touch not my anointed" to make people scared of questioning them. That verse is one of the most perverted verse of the Bible. Playing the Victim's Role: Suleman initially denied knowing Otobo but then agreed to have helped her with no strings attached in 2015. Otobo comes back to haunt Suleman and Suleman immediately runs out to accuse El Rufai of using Otobo to victimize him. In the case of Biodun of COZA, his enemies saw the land his church had acquired, got jealous and attempted to use Ese to bring him down. |
Snow02:It is not about having a tough skin. Jamariwolf is simply intending to thrive on controversies. She/he is gradually becoming a troll. |

IamaNigerianGuy:Good point!!! |
SBG04:You are just running all over the thread with no substance in your submissions. Can anyone truly stay calm enough to record a rapist preparing to rape her? Can one honestly believe that she thought herself to be in danger. Not even with law enforcement agents do people ever show the bravery to make a recording or a call, let alone a lawless entity like a rapist. Your desperation to make people see the guy as a rapist (without any foolproof evidence) is suspicious. I am beginning to think that you know this guy personally and you want him down by all means. If not, I don't see how you can be so blind as not to see that there is more to this drama than meets the eye. |
The arms, though. |

eyinjuege:According to the driver, they were still at the pickup area when he told her to come down. She didn't and he drove her home. Perhaps, that act may come back to haunt him but with a good lawyer, he has a case. If he has the right to make her vacate his car at the pickup area, even I can take up his case and win against any lawyer. Also, he has the opportunity of suing her for character assassination. |
Adenuga, ICPC, House of Reps in a Romance section thread I am not understanding...
|
BiggyBamBam:It depends on the terms and conditions. The law doesn't work the way you make it. Supposing there is a condition that you should vacate a taxi whose trip has been cancelled, then the actress ought to have vacated the car. I read the comment of a Taxify driver on Bella Naija and he wrote that the woman ought to have stepped out of the car since the driver had cancelled the trip. Driving her to a location unknown to her does not mean a kidnap charge could easily be made against him. In law, there is a men's rea which means an intent to commit a crime or criminal responsibility. This is something that must be sufficiently proven to make such a charge in this case. |
