Oh I now understand why you are so bitter and full of hate for jazzy. Another pained olamide fan who has not gotten over the headies. SMH, those awards held in January 2016 for God's sake. Olamide, lil kesh , reekado and don jazzy have all moved and you're still killing yourself over it. Just look at how you've been quoting everybody on the thread just try to run down someone who doesn't even know someone like you exists. Don jazzy behaved like the mature man he is. Unlike your lord and master olamide who embarrassed himself cursing and raving like a common motor park tout just because a fan insulted him.
Don't be stupid. I am talking about picking fights wisely and nothing else. I only used the incident with Olamide as an example. I don't know why one has to spoonfeed many of you before you understand the fundamentals of certain comparisons. The surest way to comprehend my post is to always read between the lines.

And what exactly was don jazzy's response? He basically dismissed the matter with a laugh. That's maturity at it's peak. Not every irrelevant matter, person or insult should bother you if you know who and what you are. Did you expect jazzy to start exchanging words with him?
That was not the issue. Onyeka said his mind as he always did and mentioned Don Jazzy as an example. Did Olamide mention Don Jazzy's name before Don threw a shade that year during the headies? The fact is that people pick their fights wisely. Moreover, all these is just to warm himself into your hearts. It doesn't mean it didn't pain him or that what Onyeka is saying is untrue. Remember that this is showbiz and there are a lot of fakeness about the lifestyles of the people involved in it.

What a wonderful response! It melts my heart... I need to learn from him..
Onyeka is known to all these top musicians and producers because he is sometimes instrumental in helping to organize their shows abroad, especially in France. The man is very versatile and not just your every day film maker or music label CEO. He is a professor and Don Jazzy will know better than to run his mouth. Let someone else, especially someone Don perceives to be below him, say that about him and let us see how he responds. After all, we have seen how Don handled the matter during his saga with Olamide at the Headies some years back.

And why would don jazzy want to exchange words with him? Silence has always been the best answer to fools. Don jazzy's response was the best. That's what olamide should have done to that fan who called him an upcoming artiste. Ignore the fool or dismiss the irrelevant matter like jazzy has just done
I was replying to somebody who said that he would have used harsher words if he were Don Jazzy.

And there was no silence here. After all, Don Jazzy replied.

I get it now. So because people die in motor accidents I wouldn't buy a car or enter any vehicle again. My mother died on the Lagos Ibadan expressway some fifteen years ago and I have plied same road more than 50 times since then. Because some have died in plane crash then I would not travel outside the country for fear of being killed by the Wright brothers' invention. Because gas cooker has killed so many people and burnt down buildings I wouldn't use one in my house. My neighbour was eating fish the other day and he got some bones stuck in his throat, he had to be rush to the hospital and spent 4 days there,he almost lost his life. Guess what he asked his wife to prepare for him after returning from hospital, rice and fish stew.

I like the way you guys think.

Lalasticlala and mynd44 dont you think this post is front page worthy?
Your post attempted to give reasons why everyone must marry. You said everyone must marry so as not to end up lonely and we told you that some have married and still ended up lonely which means that marriage does not guarantee a fun life.

I hope you get us now?

Did l hit a nerve there? ...Mind you, you can't just pick up one character ( criticism in this case) to compare two people and tell the world that they are alike while leaving out the other glaring characters that clearly set them apart from each other. It is like saying Jesus Christ is no different from other humans because he was also born by a woman as others. Yes, all men criticise and it is not even a bad thing to do in itself But placing Freeze in the same breadth as those men you mentioned up there just because he criticise doesn't cut it at all. Again, when Freeze begins to help the 'sheepies' rather than is usual cynicism, I will take him serious.
Note: I don't support all new generation pastors either
No, I just don't have patience for people who can't argue. cheesy

The bone of contention is "is criticism godly?" At least, that should be the bone of contention. Your expansion of the argument is not helpful. The guy I quoted ruled out Freeze as a man of God because Freeze was critical of pastors. I saw it as not enough reason to disqualify Freeze and mentioned characters who used criticisms as tools in the Bible.

No one mentioned prophets or messiahs or any other such appellations until you quoted me and started creating unnecessary distractions from the bone of contention.

Ultimately, God can use anyone. Cyrus was a man of God, although not specifically called that, but he was referred to as God's anointed even though he was a pagan king. There was no evidence that the man that rebuked Eli was a prophet and yet God explicitly used him. If anyone feels that Freeze is wrong, they should counter his religious stances with sound Biblical verses and teachings.

So you have already imagined your marriage to be full of problems. Its good how you already think your own union will have all the problems you stated above. Kudos to you Mr. Negative
He is just being realistic.

In your post, you made it seem like marriage would answer problems of loneliness and sexual infections when not all marriages answer them. There are lonely people in marriages sometimes and one promiscuous partner may even infect the other partner with STDs.

Using Elijah as your line of defence just reinforced the point I made earlier. Elijah was first and foremost a PROPHET whose prophesies always come to past. Pls, show me any other men of God in the Bible whose only call is just to criticise like Freeze is constantly doing. Yes, God give his servants different gifts but I have never read in the Bible where he gave anyone the gift of criticism...you can show me whenever you find one. Criticising is very sweet and trust me, anyone can do it just fine but people WHO made positive impacts in others lives are not just talkatives, they ACT out what they say. I will start taking him serious when he decide to set up foundation to help the poor people he always call sheep rather than the usual talks and rhetorics which have become over flogged and tiring.
Why are you overly obsessed with the bold line. This argument is not about prophesy but criticism. Jesus and John the Baptist were critical of the religious leaders. The Apostles, including Paul, were critical of false teachers. Freeze is critical of false teachings. This has nothing to do with anybody being foremost a prophet. Elijah was a prophet but that was not the argument. If you can deny that Elijah was critical of Ahab, then you can have a valid argument with me. But all this unnecessary elongation of a very simple matter is not only tiring but also very annoying.

Wait! do you just slyly compare Freeze to John the Baptist? Yes, John the Baptist use 'hard' words on pharisees but he was PRIMARY known for preaching repentance opening. Have you ever seen Freeze or whatever use his social handle to convert sinners to Christ? You just picked up one aspect of John's life and qualified Freeze with it so that you could drive a narrative. This comparison of yours is an intellectual dishonesty...
Can you read at all? Someone said Freeze couldn't be a man of God simply because of his insults and I reminded the person that God chooses whom He wants and uses him how He wants. I can give you more people in the Bible who were even harsher than John the Baptist and did not preach repentence. Elijah was one and the man who rebuked Eli was another.

He was stopped by Povetkin, who Joshua will definitely beat!!
Boxing doesn't work that way. Povetkin has his styles and the fact that he beat Takam does not mean Takam cannot beat AJ. If Takam brings something entirely frustrating for AJ, he will beat AJ. Every fight is different.

Fury beat Wladimir with ease while AJ struggled against Wladimir. This does not mean that Fury would beat AJ easily.

John 12:24
(King James Version)
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

Genesis 8:22
(King James Version)
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

As I said earlier, do what works for you. I chose to run with these. May be to fulfill all righteousness, but also because I feel right about it.
Do what works for you is terrible. We have the Bible and the Holy Spirit. We can't just do anything because it works.

The Bible verses you quoted did not shed light on this kingdom secret.

From how you have said tithing is some kingdom secret of financial prosperity, I can see just where the problem lies. But one thing I want you to know is that the Bible never promised us an easy life for even being for Christ. The apostles never got wealthy for even being directly called by Christ. They faced persecution and never had an easy life like your bishops promise you. There is nothing like kingdom secret of financial prosperity. Our calling is straightforward and unambiguous. We are to preach the Good News and not prosperity. We are to seek the Kingdom of God not seek for wealth from God. We are to give from our hearts and not give with the expectations of receiving a bounty.

All such vain words as kingdom secret of financial prosperity only edify your heart in its quest for things of this world. It makes us more selfish and more greedy. It makes us give just because we want to receive. It is a bad way of teaching acts of love and generosity. The Christians of old never gave to receive. They gave to help the needy ones among them. The act of giving that the Apostles taught was true and it made believers selfless. It took the hearts of believers away from earthly treasures that can be destroyed and placed their hearts on God. Early Christians were selling properties not to gift the apostles but to help a needy one. They loved one another and the love was true. The love of selfless giving not the selfish love practised today.

This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD. (Jeremiah 23:16)

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

Yes...financially and otherwise.
Well, that you draw a connection does not mean the blessings come because of tithing or that the blessings even mean that God is happy with your act.

The best way for a Christian is to follow the scripture. If you tithe according to the Law, it means that Jesus's sacrifices really wasn't worth it. For why should you remain under the Law when the death of Christ has liberated you?

AJ might have the time advantage though considering the fact his been training for this match in forever. But the way I see it. Experience might overcome strength and endurance. My stake though. And apart the last of takam I saw made me understand aggressiveness really helps in boxing. Takam z ruthless, aggressive, his jabs and right hand has the weight advantage and holy good lord. Experience z something takam got again. My stake z on takam carlos
Somehow, I want Takam to win. I like AJ but I always find myself gunning for the underdog. I watched the weigh-in and you can just imagine how much fans AJ already has. Takam is the underdog. He would be booed tommorow but if he can win, he will get the respect of the world. I think he wants that. I am giving him a chance to cause an upset.
SportsRe: Anthony Joshua Beats Carlos Takam To Retain Heavyweight Title by BluntBoy(m): 5:15pm On Oct 27, 2017
Takam, the bogeyman of the heavyweight category. No one wants to fight him. He is more skillful and aggressive than Pulev and even AJ but AJ has some advantages.

AJ is elite and Takam always struggles against elite boxers.

Takam comes into this fight on short notice. But AJ had been training for tommorow. The only difference for AJ is a change of opponents. For Takam, he had not even been preparing to fight but got only two weeks notice. No wonder he trained for hours yesterday.

I believe AJ would win but no one should write off Takam. He is an animal.

Let me modify. AJ is expected to win. But this fight can go either way.
