Ibori Extradited to London.
Former governor of Delta State, Southsouth Nigeria, James Ibori has been extradited to London to face trial for alleged money laundering. Reports say he was seen in Dubai in company of the officers of the London Metropolitan police being taken away. Ibori escaped to Dubai last year when operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, were about to arrest him for alleged economic crimes when he was Delta state governor. His sister, Mrs. Christine Ibie -Ibori, was sentenced to five years jail term on 7 June last year for money laundering by the Crown Court in London. Also jailed last year for the same offence is his associate, Ms Udoamaka Okonkwo - Onuigbo by the London Crown Court.

The REC in Anambra is nothing but a thief. He has doctored the result of Anambra were APGA is the dominant party and gave it to Andy Uba of PDP. He has also hijacked another senatorial district and said he can only release the result tomorrow. I heard him on a phone convo on channels. You can tell from his tone that he is a thief. @ people, talk is cheap reason all and sundry is yapping this and that. @Aisha1, you have time o. Just ignore these people that's refused to thinker in the line of Jega on this whole process. This man is hell bent on giving us a credible election like have never been seen in this country. He knows the country he lives in; that these election materials safety from being tampered can never be guaranteed anywere in this land. The military, the banks, even cbn would have compromised it. Reason he chose it to be flown in 24 hrs to election leaving insufficient time for reproduction by our evil get-there-by-all-means politicians. Those screaming he should have made alternative plans, checkout this example; you paid a typist to prepare you your project papers you have taken time to write, you agree on a date. Will you give the same project papers to another typist to prepare in case the first typist fails you? And on the appointed date he couldnt deliver because his computer crashed and he had to start the work all over. Lets be realistic, Jega wants to give us credible election. Lets cut him some slack.

I listened to Jega speak, the sincerity and apologetic demeanor his displayed is so thick you can actually touch it. Even when some over-zealous baffoons parading as aides declared there is no taking of questions by Jega, he personally volunteered for questioning. This is a sign of someone with some serious willingness to service and delivery. I have no intention to dispel and discredit the reasons he has supplied for this failure. He owned up and took the blame. Let optimism be a part of us. We are headed somewhere. Up Jega, up Nigeria, up the masses for their committment.

Like in all my politically related posts, I have always made it clear that I am neither for GEJ nor Buhari. That said, it is appalling when folks try to muscle out opponents with their might. The truth is the BB team have a case to answer & BB supporters should come to terms with that. A reminder; when a team performs poorly in a contest, it is the coach that take all the blame. Same here for Buhari & Bakare. They might not have been directly involved but it is a team they lead directly or indirectly. Some BB loyalist argue from one side of their mouth when I am dead sure they know the truth. How can a sane and internet-age savvy individual want to discredit BlueLabs course for justice just because the site for pursuing such course was recently registered? Did you expect buharistoleouridea.com to be in existence before this course? On what grounds and for what reason? That arguement is a inconsequential. The BB team did like some Nigerian pastors will do, they pulled sections of the Youtube TAC/TOS that suits their 'in-denial', they should read further. On why pursue this course on the web and not the court? Pls folks give me a break; the web today is a formidable platform were great battles have been started and won. My conclusion:
1. BB team and CPC has a case to answer
2. BB loyalist are just beating about the bush & not facing the reality of this matter.
3. Playing a blame game on political opponents is ludicrous.
4. BlueLabs have the right to launch a new website to pursue their course.

I am tired of hearing people blame the government even when a crime if being committed by the ordinary evil citizens. The average Nigerian man or woman is wicked. When did killing and maiming become our thing? Its the inherent wickedness in us that is manifesting. Imaging a boy sending assassins to kill his girlfriend because she said she wants out. Imagine a friend poisoning his own best friend because they had a successful business deal and he wants all the money to himself. Or a girl giving another girl an acid bath because of a man. The get-there-by-all-means syndrome among our politicians is a reflection of the larger society because these guys are part of the society. Come to think of it, how much money or power can justify or quantify the lives these guys waste? I am sure they've forgotten that heaven and hell is real. God help us.

I don't know how many Nigerians that are thinking what I'm thinking (I miss Pinky & The Brain). I am so petrified on our safety in this country knowing how porous our boarders are and the wickedness of the Nigerian business men and women. The unfortunate incident in Japan; the recent earthquake & tsunami resulting in radiation leak and contaminations, may have a devastating effect on Nigeria. Food, water and even gadgets have been found to be contaminated with high level of radiation. What efforts are being put in place by the concerned authorities to ensure that our callous business men and women do not bring these goods into the country through our boarders? Countries with a working government are already taking steps by banning food items from Japan. These items I am very sure will find its way into Nigeria soon; that is if they are not already here. The contamination is not limited to food and water alone, it includes electronic gadgets, textiles, cars parts, furnitures and household item.

Let us please speak out NOW and start the awareness from here with the hope it will reach the authorities. A Stitch In Time Saves Nine.

Their array of channels dusts whatever it is the other so called PayTv providers have in their stock. Until there are real competitors, DStv remains the way to go. Can anyone compare DStv's premium sub's content with what Hitv which is the closest competitor is offering on its premium sub at N3500? In summary, DStv is in a class of its own.
