Politics / Re: Why We Handcuffed Metuh − NPS by Boeing777pilot: 6:13pm On Jan 20, 2016
The sad truth is that the average Nigerian lacks basic comprehension skills.

EFCC and DSS don't handcuff their suspects.

The Nigerian Prison Service does using discretion.

Is that too hard to understand?

See, my point exactly. The onus is on you to fulfill all requirements because you are provided all the information you need.

Another POE official would probably have overlooked it.

At that point he indicated that I should move to a side, as I was struggling with my laptop bag, two green passport booklets fell off me. He quickly requested for them, on flipping through he realised that there were used UK visas in the booklets and they belong to me. Then looked at the UK visa in my fresh booklet again, it was at that point that he realised that brand new UK in my new passport is actually a 10yr visa.He apologised and said he didn't realise I was not a first timer to UK. He didn't even ask for hotel reservation again and simply said "enjoy your holiday".

Since then I always have my last passport attached to the new.

At the bolded
That's discretionary power at work there.

Then how come you don't know that the points are for dubious people? Pilot my asss.

Some times innocent people with genuine reasons get turned back, while that is in the minority, it exists.

POE officials possess discretionary powers which you have no clue about so because you get it right, doesn't mean everyone else does but the reasons this guy gave are very much in order.

I have seen someone who was turned back, not a Nigerian though because he said he was given a one month tourist visa meanwhile he had a single entry 10 day visa.

Your entry is at the discretion of the POE. If for any reason he's not satisfied, you will be denied entry.

You mumu i swear. Did you read the points at all? Those are points that a dubious person would take into consideration before travelling. How would you know? You probably haven't seen the inside of a terminal else you would have known.

I'm a pilot and I have used many airport terminals in different continents more than your whole family put together.

Lol.....All the points are rubbish. Unless you hid in a suitcase up to the point of entry, you would not even encounter any of these issues because you won't even have a visa in the first place. The guy is just typing rubbish and you are swallowing it.

Stop exposing your ignorance.
Every thing the guy has said is largely correct.

The fact you have a visa doesn't guarantee you entry and the officials at the point of entry have reasons to deny you entry if they have reasons to.

They possess discretionary powers and people from high risk countries are under more scrutiny so don't comment for the sake of it.

If you are not sure then just keep quiet.

Tell us abt radar communication... how come the netwok

In layman's language radar are waves used to track the position of objects in an airspace. Each airport has radar equipment that track aircraft within its airspace and sometimes beyond. So at different points during a flight, each aircraft is monitored via radar. This helps air traffic controllers manage traffic.

I'm an Igbo woman but I have to ask, who the hell does this Ohaneze think he is? If you don't like the way you're treated in a place, pack and go! It's only Igbos that will go to another man's land and be dragging rights. It's annoying honestly. Y'all need to come back home and grow the East. You've tried to be a part of Lagos but they don't want you. Come back and make Ariaria what it used to be. Make newer bigger markets here in the East. My honest opinion....

This is what love is

1 Corinthians 13 vs 4-8
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails.

Replace your name with love, then read it out loudly to yourself, that way you will know whether you really love or not.
