What if I made 2.1 in Pol sc or Geography ? Its a Trainee Job so i think the course of study doesn't count, I must say Your opinion is undoubtedly void of a reasonable thinking...

Mr ITK aka I too Know, trainee jobs are not generic but the term is.

Applicants for an engineering trainee job would be different from a management trainee job, so questions would be asked within their specific disciplines.

Learn to cross check your opinions first in your head before you actually write them down and confirm doubts about your one dimensional thinking patterns.

I don't get. This explanation is a total sham. A complete scam. An uttter charade.

There is no such thing as a water landing for an aircraft that does not have capabilities to land on water. A regular helicopter lands on water, it sinks immediately. Maybe they meant that the helicopter crashed in the water and all occupants swam to safety.

I think they should tell us more about the type of helicopter.

Oga calm down.
Most of these people who write these stuffs are not aviation experts so they use wrong terminology.

My brother just applied to a Pilot training school in SA
and also applied to University Of Nicosia, North

going to the University.
So our concern is, is it "very compulsory" to have
BSC even after becoming a Professional Pilot?
Please kindly help guys.....God bless!!

It's not necessary.

I support the need for an Aviation Section and not a subsection, aviation is very very vast and I know quite a number of Pilots (Fixed Wing and Helicopter) , Flight Attendants, Engineers, Dispatchers and aviation enthusiasts who use nairaland both nationally and internationally, it's a pain really to have to sieve through various threads to look for aviation related topics.

Very true.

Oga seun lalasticlala please attend to this.

So long as d CG doesn't exceed d fore and aft limits and d extra engine doesn't affect d MTOW, d aircraft should be able to take off and land. However, d extra engine implies more thrust and higher burnt off fuel

Skipper very few can understand this oh.

Let me break it down

The Center of Gravity (CG) has to be balanced in layman terms, and the extra engine doesn't affect the Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) the aircraft should be able to land and take off.

However the extra engine requires that the aircraft would need more power to fly and as a result burn more fuel.

OP you did very well by confirming only one.

I'm very sure that the op wouldn't have set the question if it wasn't relevant.

And in case you didn't notice, if he confirms them and they mess up, it's on him.

If you made a 2.1 or first class, then prove it.

I don't have any problems with the fees.
They just shouldn't force parents to pay in dollars.
The naira equivalent should suffice.

Good education costs money.

If you really help her, give her money to start a business, she can fund her education from it and you supplement when necessary.

It's a win win situation.

Don't do it because you expect something in return.

If this is true then the pilot must be on top of his game

The major problem would taking off and landing

"This land is not for sale"

Not really, several modifications were made e.g less fuel necessitating a stop over for refuelling, less baggage and slower flight speed.

Politics / Re: Court Denies Nnamdi Kanu Bail by Boeing777pilot: 2:43pm On Jan 29, 2016
The thing I find interesting is that the British government is yet to utter a word with specific reference to Kanu since he's a British citizen.

They usually offer consular assistance to nationals in situations like this.

Plus the regular calls for fair trial etc.

Absolutely nothing , nada, zilch from the home office.

Interesting.

Yes from the perspective of a pilot, but whether it's commensurate with the amount spent is another debate.

She performed very well. I still remember our aviation industry got a good recommendation from IATA during her tenure. Our international airports(Lagos/abuja) may not appear as flashy as those of Dubai and Heathrow but I can tell u we can match em in terms of technical facilities in place which is to her credit. This present government Shud swallow their pride and seek for assistance from those who made key sectors of this country work during GEJ administration .

No we don't. Our technical capacity is manageable at best but not a part with other world class airport.

My question is what exactly did Stella Oduah achieve in Nigerian Aviation?

If she really worked, all these complaints would not be made.

This administration has to correct all the wrongs of the past administration first.
