Dannyset:
Nigerians should all remember Saraki in their prayers. He needs prayer of intercession at this point.

Saraki went tru a difficult situation ysday to confirm Amaechi against all odds. I saw it in his eyes, he was stammering. I felt for him. To me, he was only paying for his misdeed. But then, nobody will outrightly fault his ambition.

We might be controlled by our emotions and feel that he should be forgiven(my feelings too), but Politicians don't play it that way. Even he(Saraki) could become unpredictable after everything.

But in all these, I think he will be pardoned and freed with a rope still on his neck.
So, if he is corrupt he should be given a slap on his wrist. Ok. Got it.

Some Nigerians confound me. The same ilk that were saying Saraki is not being witch haunted are now saying he's hold beforgiven because he has done his party's bid!!

When will Nigerians realise that this thing happening in this country is not APC vs PDP but Us vs them; the politicians who use the masses knowing most are too gullible. Wake up Nigerians you have never benefited from your councillor, LG Chairman, senate representative or house of rep wether PDP OR APC.
They care about themselves and we should hold them accountable not fighting here.
Bro's stop wasting your time. You are trying to educate st.upid people who care for nothing else but themselves, tonto dike, psquare, toke makinwa and their stomach. sychophancy is the norm and any attempt to educate them otherwise will only cause you ridicule. Nigerians deserve the leaders they have. They are predominantly s.tupid so they will always pick s.tupid and useless people to lead them.

Nigerians are so st.upid, they actually deserve the leadership they have. Suffer really fit una. They should change the Name Nigeria to "sufferia".

oh becos u hear nightclub at the end of it?? who said as a Christian u can't go to parties at night? ?

when we were little it was like the Christian music has to go a particular way else it's considered worldly, even some churches still do dat till date n they call it doctrine. But now, 80% of Christian songs now sound circular, not becos it's circular but becos it makes it more easier to be a christian. dose same beats n rap u hear outside are now transfered to e church n the only difference is the words. Therefor, with those beats n dance steps, we still praise our God.
Lol....whatever makes you sleep well at night.

You can't solve a problem if you can't first admit that you have a problem

Nigeria's worst problem now is that we won't admit we have a problem. Buhari and his followers won't admit that we have a serious problem in this country.
That is not the problem. The problem is that Nigerians have been so used to pain and suffering, they don't know what an economy in a nose dive is. The economy has been in a nose dive since independence. Can anyone point to a period where the economy was anything but in a nose dive? Drilling oil and selling it does not signify an economy in an upswing. What you do with the funds of the sale is what determines if the economy is viable.

Eja (fish) = Weed [my niggas will understand this wink wink wink wink]. grin
I remember my first week in chicago. I was in a bus and i dozed off. The normal way to disembark at your stop is to watch out for the name on a flashing dashboard by the driver and then pull on a chord in the center of the bus located overhead. Somehow i woke up just before my bus stop and panicked. I started screaming "owa". . ."owa" and everyone was looking at me like i was nuts. There was one chick sitting in the back of the bus laughing like crazy. That's how i knew she was Nigerian. She motioned to me to pull the chord. God i was so embarrassed. It's funny now. It wasn't funny then.

Well, I ain't homophobic or anything, but I think I agree with this move...since kids minds are very fragile, and the LGBT character in this particular series is actually a kid. Early this year, I was feeling like a movie critic, and I went and watched that Brokeback Mountain movie. I wish I could un-watch it...That movie tormented me for weeks.
And you are not homophobic. Ok. Anyway I am a card carrying member of the anti gay movement.

Family › Re: Do You Encourage Beating Of Children By Teachers At Schools? by Bollinger(m): 5:52am On Oct 27, 2015
bongolistik:
All these people screaming I don't beat my child and the Mr. Teacher should not touch my child are part of the problems that we have in this country. They are the type that will drive to the school to warn the teacher on why he beat their kids. Then you should have left your kids inside the closet and never bother to take him/her to school.

This is Africa, this is Nigeria, beating a kid for wrong doing is part of our culture. If you deemed it fit not to lay hands on your kid personally, fine and good but don't go harassing teachers that disciplined your kids by beating them.

How do you expect the teacher to know that you don't beat your kids, when the teacher flogs every kids that misbehave in school, and now you are telling him not to flog only your own kids when he misbehaves cos he is Obama son abi waiting.

The problems in this country is just too much that even most parents contribute to. Eg, those that will go warn a teacher for flogging their kids. Why not send them abroad to school where they don't use cane. As far as your kids school in Nigeria, expect the teachers to flog the hell out of them when they misbehave.

It is a personal thingthing, never you say because you don't beat your kids and teachers should not touch your kids.

And plenty of those types of parents or would be parents have been showing themselves here on NL by the type of comments they drop
Beating a child because it is our culture is a wrong mentality. It is also a lazy way of leading your child. That is what you are to your child...A leader. Don't get get me wrong I spanked my kids when they were younger but after a certain age it does not work anymore. Anyone who spanks their children after the age of eleven should look inwards at their parenting style. There are other corrective ways of rehabilitation.
