Truth is the only reason why most Nigerian women take it is not because of love but because of the unknown financially. If they could stand on their own two feet, they would not accept nor take that behavior from men.

Okay.

but what exactly is he thanking God for?

For the tribunal's ruling?
Was he the candidate or Dakukku?

Or for his ministerial screening that the APC Senators decided to look the other way?

The problem with nigerians is that a lot of them are not exposed so they do not know what's good for them or know what the standard is. These guys are turfing with what is supposed to be owned by the people and people are taking sides instead of lambasting both parties. Ignorance is a terrible thing. They are about to spend billions on another election, which if they had done in the right way, the first time, would have saved you all a lot of money. Or, maybe it was done the right way but anyone can wake up and cancel elections. Their is no way to know. Nigerians are like animals in a jungle. No laws, rules, norm, nothing. I pity you all.

Celebrities › Re: 7 Nigerian Celebrities And Their Beautiful Houses (Photos) by Bollinger(m):
Chukzyfcb:
I want to correct your thinking that says property will always hold its value. This is not always true, if disasters like flood or war hapen, the value will fall drastically. Take for instance houses @ borno or bauchi where boko haram is feasting, their values have depreciated so badly. Moreover a house where you'll live in cannot necesary be called an Investment, because you will keep spending to maintain the house, which means it will take money out of your pocket which turns it to a LIABILITY to an INVESTOR. #Robert kiyosaki inspired
moshino:
Properties do not ALWAYS hold their values, research the global trend of real estate markets, and your premise will be debunked in 5 seconds. And purchasing your personal residential home is asset preservation, and perhaps a personal accomplishment, if you're so inclined, but it does not yield any return back to you in the short, medium term. If you factor in the opportunity cost of spending a huge amount on your personal home as an investment, and the risk factor (considering market, economic down turns and cycles), then a simple sensitivity analysis will clarify to you that you have not invested wisely. And for the sake of clarity, even if the value of your home appreciates over time, and you decide to sell it, you'll still need to buy another home in that same peak market, again, consider the opportunity cost of that your initial cash outlay for the purchase. Then again, Knowledge is the core difference between 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad'. So you can assume whatever you wish, and do whatever you wish with your cash.
Read through my post again. I said "The only variable that most people don't understand is time". When you buy a car and use it over an extended period of time it eventually degrades and becomes useless. Or, a newer model is made. A million years ago, if you had told a pre historic man that warri would be the region sustaining nigeria today, he would look at you as if you were crazy. All he probably saw at the time were dinosaurs trying to kill him on that same land. A million years ago lands in warri would probably be worth nothing but today they are worth trillions of dollars. I hope you don't make me explain this again. it's too simple.
Celebrities › Re: 7 Nigerian Celebrities And Their Beautiful Houses (Photos) by Bollinger(m): 1:11am On Oct 25, 2015
moshino:
How is their residential house an INVESTMENT?
Because property will always hold it's value and more often than not appreciate in said value. You buy a brand new car and immediately you drive it out of the lot you've lost 20% of it's value. It's not the same with property. The only variable that most people don't understand is time.

Another weekend. My wife and kids bum rushed me with the news that there was a pre arranged sleep over tonight. God, i hate that crap. What it usually means for me is that i would have to babysit five or more kids, cook and entertain them until my wife get's back from work. My boys came up to me and were like "dad, can you make your world famous chicken suya? and please make it extra spicy" grin. "Damn", I thought i could get away with pizza and soda. I guess that's not happening today. I always get a kick out of hearing them pronounce Nigerian meals like suya, eba, garri, amala. It's always hilarious when they say it. Never the one to disappoint my Ninjas, i decided to make their wish come true. I whipped out bukky, my trusty skillet and went to work. It came out pretty nice, if i do say so myself and it tasted divine as well. So much so that the university of suya would be envious. I had to spatchcock the chicken in order to get the best result though.

Just saw the highlights and it was what i was afraid of. I think there is a concerted effort to frustrate mourinho and by extension, chelsea. It's sad but mourinho is the architect of everything happening to him right now. When you are working in an organization, there will always be politics at play and being a manager especially, you must know how to play it. It's called tact. You cannot afford to say "phuck everybody" and do whatever you want or say whatever comes to your head. "everybody" will find a way to drag you down eventually.

If chelsea loses this match only confirms one thing; mourinho is in self destruct mode. You can't be an assshole to everyone and hope life will go on smoothly for you. He probably will be sacked if they lose today. And if he is sacked, no english club will touch him with a ten ft pole.

Investment › Re: Guinness Nigeria Suffers 76% Profit Decline by Bollinger(m):
ShowYourCertificate:
Yes, that's the question. The Nigerian population is on the rise and this expectedly led to the increase in the Gunness drinkers population. This should have led to an increase in profit but unfortunately it is not so. Cost of production is high due to our bad economy. What's the implication? Expect an increase in the price of Guinness and other alcoholic beverages. 76% loss, no company can tolerate such on the long run.
That is a weird statement. A rising population does not necessarily mean a rise in demand for a particular goods or services. If that were the case advertising agencies would be extinct because companies would not need their services anymore. Germany has a population of less than 80 million and they have probably the highest consumption of beer drinkers in the world. Nigeria is not even on the top 50. And our population is higher.

Nice to have some Nigerians representing the country positively

Immediately I saw the headlines on BBC, I didnt even bother to check the names.

Yorubas are always making Nigeria proud.
Keep deceiving yourself. They don't know you or want to be associated with you. They were brought up in a sane society which afforded them the opportunity to reach their full potential. Do you think if they lived in a phucked up environment like Nigeria where power generation is a full time problem, do you think they would be able attain the level they are right now? their allegiance is to the society they live in, not some jacked up country like Nigeria. I should know.
