Atiku is right. Economic prospects hangs on the outcome of the election. Investors and even local manufacturers are planning around the election results. The postponement will further delay economic activities. |
KwoiZabo:They postponed the election, so he has to talk. He has openly declared for Buhari. Even if Jonathan wins, I don't see him surviving. Something strong is brewing |
One thing I like about the west, regardless of the patronage they gain from you, they are not afraid or shy to tell you the truth. They know how to separate business interest and their conscience. On the other hand, I wonder why they are writing these damn editorials on Jonathan. I suspect Obasanjo oh. Anyway, they are always on point. |
I don't think jonathan is the problem. It is his aides, ministers, special advisers and kitchen cabinet members that are the problem. They are scared of losing their jobs. Unfortunately, the buck stops on the president's table. History may never forgive jonathan |
Bizinton:Campaign team lack strategy and ideas |
Jonathan is christianizing the country. In less than one month, he has visited more than 40 churches and no mosque spreading lies. I also think jonathan is seeking postponement so that the military will have more time to wipe out boko haram. The initial deadline of December 2014 could not be achieved and Buhari is using boko haram as a campaign tool |
Well if the elections are not postponed or rigged then there is a huge chance of you becoming the president |
This president is nothing but a shame to aso rock. I hope other future presidents learn from his stupidity and failure. The president symbolizes authority and power. This man called jonathan has delegate these authority to charlatans who continue to hoodwink him and make him a laughing stock |
I just have a feeling that this election would be postponed. Little wonder foreign journalists are denied visas. |
sincerenigerian:What the hell have they been doing all this while. |
sincerenigerian:I thought you are a staunch pdp supporter |
BeeBeeOoh:He did not deny being paid. He also mentioned he informed APC chieftains. Little wonder they failed at Osun. I was also wondering why PDP go around boasting that they will take over lagos with their terrible antecedence in other states. Now I understand better |
This is very painful. Why is jonathan and PDP doing this to our country. Jonathan is very wicked. He does not know what he is doing. Even the generals. I am shocked. A military man accepting directives from a civilian. Na wa oh. Please the military has nothing to do with election. Little wonder obanikoro is being rewarded with ministerial appointment after losing out from the gubernatorial primaries. Even though APC isn't so good, I will prefer them in lagos than pdp |
Some nigerian elites fighting hard against change and uncertainty. They want to keep bleeding the country dry |
We do not need voice frequency analysis to identify those people behind the leak tape. But it concludes how powerful elites go at extra length to grab power and subdue the masses, yet some clowns continue to support them for peanuts and crumbs |
The next I will read is APC propanganda. The white man is indirectly assisting us to choose right. Of late I have been reading multiple write ups from foreign journalists and newspaper. It is a shame that our own local newspapers or journalists cannot do the same else for a very few. For me anything but jonathan will do. If a goat prefers to run for president against jonathan, I will prefer that goat |
erico2k2:Pardon him. He has not been there. |
Emmanuel602:I have been there. Like you, I also thought I would see a large chunk of Nigerians but I was wrong. Though I met a few on the streets. The only time I saw many Nigerians was at the airport (to and fro). |
I think this is false news. |
haibe:It is embarrassing that we brag about the ills of society. Gals bragging about how much they make from sleeping with random men. Guys brag about how much drugs they can push. Our National Assembly who should be constructing laws to address society issues, is bragging about how much bribes they can collect and how high they can scale fences. |
Emmanuel602:Laughs. You think Nigerians are the only people going to Dubai? |
What will be the condition of those who go to dubai on genuine business trip. |
mayysen:It is a pity. There is a huge disconnect between the people and the government. Rather than asking serious questions, someone is busy saying he is well to do (in his fantasy world). How can you be well to do when the dollar is now N210, which means the purchasing price for essential imported goods and services just made a differential increase. This is a problem that would have been averted if the managers of our economy did their homework well. Someone was bold enough, whether he was a criminal or not; or he has personal motives or not, to ask serious problems. We criticise him. A nairalander was feeling funky to say if you work hard, you will not be busy believing propagandas. I did not reply him, because that statement made me believe he is still an undergraduate. Working hard, or being rich does not solve the problem Nigerians. You still travel through the same bad roads, you still visit the same poor health centres, you still live in an insecure environment, you still provide your own power using generators and tolerate the noise from your neighbours' generators. You still get ashamed to admit you are a nigerian when you are outside the country. Why can't we begin to hold our leaders, who are actually our stewards, accountable ![]() ![]() ? |
Lurcky:You need a conscience. You wicked soul. How long will you continue to beg for your right? Accepting bribe and cash gifts that actually belongs to you. A king who sits on the floor of his palace and wears rags while his servants sits on the throne and offer him crumbs. That is what wicked people like you have turned Nigerians into. Because a government official bankrolls your lifestyle, you have lost your gaddamn conscience. |
blackandbold:in Kenya - the citizens would not have the time to investigate whether it is true or not. They hit the streets immediately to protest. They protested against the causal behaviour of the government in handling terrorism. WHAT HAVE WE DONE? We are isolating, debating and dissecting the issue and taking sides. We take sides over everything. Some one is busy asking if the story is true. Do I need to know whether the story is true or not. FOR CHRIST SAKE TAKE A LOOK AT THE ECONOMY - THE PICTURE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. WHAT IS WRONG WITH US |
Lurcky:People like you are the reason why we are still poor, still hopeless and still cowards. People like you are the reasons why politicians treat us like shit and spit at us, do not account to us, even though we voted them into stewardship. People like you are the reason why the white man laughs at us. People like you are the reason why we have no electricity, good healthcare, good schools, good roads, good security measures and food even though we are the 5th world oil exporting country. People like you are the reasons why Ghanians, Kenyans, South Africans and even Chadians show us no respect and laughs at us. People like you are the reason why we import refined oil, when we actually produce oil. People like you are the reasons why those we call leaders take pride to drink champagne when a section of the country is on fire with death toll counting. People like you are the reason, why the live of the average nigerian is worthless. So I ask you again what is wrong with your stupid brain and conscience and why would you make excuses for a wicked administration? |
ceejay80s:I asked what is wrong with us? Do we need any God to tell us that we are stupid? We are the 5th Oil exporting country in the world, yet we are poor as the church rats with the worst dilapidated infrastructures in the world. Do we need the devil to tell us that someone is robbing us? Do we need soludo to tell us that the ministry of finance is siphoning monies to private pockets and invincible projects? The world looks at us and shake their head in laughter. I ask again what is wrong with us? |
PEREP:So what is your point? No money is missing right? We are rich right? Our economy is doing just great right? We are wicked people. Someone is trying to wake our sleeping consciousness and here we are criticising him that he has a secret agenda. Whatever agenda soludo has means nothing to me, NOI should account and publish Nigeria's present economic state on pages of newspaper. |
atlwireles:Smart enough to know what? Robbing us naked to serve her pay masters. Where is her integrity? This is not the first accusation, neither is it the second. To make it more credible, people who worked with her. Why do we continue to make excuses for this wicked administration? |
Nigeria's Democracy - Government for the elites, by the elites and of the elites |
Lurcky:My friend shut your dirty mouth. This is not politics, this is our future you fool. You are the reason why they keep stealing from us. You wicked soul. Making excuses and justifying wrongs all the time. What is wrong with us? |
ziccoit:Enough to send some people on a first class ticket to meet with the devil. What is wrong with us? |
