The spiritual masters both past and present are all working harmoniously in the inner planes helping souls that are ready to realize the truth within themselves. This is the reason why becoming a mystic, which of course cuts across all religions is a very important first step in ones spiritual journey.

So why is the OP bringing up this? I just want to know. First and foremost, the OP should note that this is a democracy and not military rule. Surely, any cabalistic behaviour will receive public outcry. We need change in this country, our president has failed in delivery and corruption and deepened the more.

Jesus has said plainly, yet people refused to understand - God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth". You cannot worship God in flesh, you cannot even feel his conciousness. You must attain a certain level of spiritual consciousness, which unfortunately churches do not provide. Worshipping God is a personal journey and decision. Also, it is not one for the chicken livered because it requires a lot of training and discipline (physically and spiritually). It is not all about - I confess you Jesus, come into my heart; Oh I am now born again (bullshit). It is like going to the gym because you want a healthy, sexy body. So to experience God, you will go to the spiritual gym.

Finally, when one abide by all these, the doors of heaven shall be opened and that person shall personally experience true spirituality.

A christian mystic is one who has gotten rid of the sheep mentality and has started realizing his relationship with God.


he no longers depend on his pastor for revelations from God or for interpretation of the Holy Scriptures.
He has started realizing the deeper meaning of the teachings of Jesus Christ and has made contact with the Holy Spirit which has started leading him to all truth as promised by Jesus.


he has also started realizing the great importance of love as the all and all, the beginning and the end of all scriptures. And he strives to serve life without judging but only giving out the love that flows through him to life.

Need i say more?

Thank you winsomex for opening this thread. Do you know Moses was a mystic and Moses was elijah and Elijah was john the baptist. Also, there was Jesus the man and jesus the Christ. Jesus the man was a medium for Jesus the Christ and both were Mystics. Remember God is spirit and can only be served in spirit and in truth. So forget all this bible quoting, for the bible was interpreted and filled with interpretation errors. The Roman Catholic church is fully aware of this and little wonder you see the rituals performed in their services. In this materialistic world of ours, only the mystic can feel, see and experience the God consciousness.

Good editorial. Pertinent questions being raised. How does Buhari intends financing his campaign if he is without funds and if he does emerge to be the president, won't he using national funds to pay back the loans. It is good that these question are be asked so that we can know the true nature of each presidential candidate.

On the other hand, majority of Nigerians see Buhari as a man of integrity. Which means whatever he has been doing in the past to build this perception, he must have been doing it right. Unlike our President, I just don't know him for anything other than corruption and petty politicking.

I am currently at the Enugu airport enroute to Lagos. First, I noticed the presence of police officers around and all of a sudden, a group of men walked past custom and I was told it was the deputy governor. His ADC, a police corporal refused to go through normal protocol. From police I started observing top ranking military personnel. I also noticed traditional dancers and I was wondering what is happening in this small airport. Lo and behold, an air force plane landed and I was told the Vice President is in the plane.

This is how they spend our money. I believe millions has been exchange for this crappy stuff.

I enjoyed reading the interview. Bianca sounds so intelligent. Her choice of words are as stunning as she looks. Well crafted and above the average politicians' mediocre communication style. I don't know if the newspaper did some editing but it is hard to tell if much editing was carried out. I was lost and impressed with the words combination than the actually issue she was explaining.

Paul I don't subscribe to this evil force nonsense. Human activities are responsible for most of the difficulties we experience. Flood are caused by changes in nature due to industrialization, wars are caused and fought by humans. Illness result from when you embark on activities not good for your body. No force will carry illness and throw at you. If you do not eat right you get sick and if you eat much you add weight.

Now Paul let me tell you a personal story. I believe in a universal force, a higher deity be it God or any name you choose. I grew up a Christian but began to see some irregularities that I could not condone. My late sweet mother who passed on in May 2014, was a staunch Christian, very devoted and prayerful. Apart from being a mom, her other activities were church activities even her work could not compete with the church activities. My mom died of breast cancer and during her painful period, I knelt down and weep to God and I told him, in tears to heal my mother and that I would return back a Christian. The doctors frankly told us that my mom's cancer was at terminal stage. The news hits hard like a rock, and even as I type this there is tears in my eyes.

Behold pastors were coming. I even took part in a prayer session and the pastor bluntly said my mother will not die and I can see and smell the faith from my mother. The hospital bills were running high and I told my family that we should forget the bills, as long as my mother was hopeful and fighting to live, we must continue to pay. My mother had hope, she had faith and these pastors fueled her faith but she died. Paul, my mother died. So Paul don't you sit there and find excuses for these fraudsters and also don't you fuel my anger this morning please.

I was justing skimming through this thread and intended leaving, until the bolded caught my attention.
You did raise a very interesting question, as a firm beliver in miracles I do believe that the power/gift to heal is given by God as a sign to accompany witnessing/soul-winning. To validate the message of the gospel, not for medical reasons. Remember not everybody who seeks healing from Men of God receive their healing, that alone is proof that the gift cannot be turned on and off like a light switch. I hope this explanation has been of help to you.

Come on Paul please this isn't right. Do we now need scientists to come up with a technology to measure the degree of faith in a person before a pastor lay his hands. Why do we continue to make excuses for these men. Please also note, People will go to extreme length in desperate situation to resolve their issue and that's faith my brother. I am certainly sure that if one brave MOG from the whole lot decides to go to Liberia and organize a crusade, the country will close down. Also, why are they no sending funds even if they cannot heal them?

Ebola is not a test of anyone's faith,people should beware of the bible and its false teachings. You are more likely to contact Ebola in a church.

My brother Ebola no dey look face oh. It doesn't know race, religion or class. It is a deadly disease and funny enough these pastors claims it is from the devil. The number of prayers conducted on this devil, by now he should be dead. Either the devil doesn't exist or the prayers are not effectiveness.
