Please before this audio was released, I got wind of the information. A journalist friend of mine informed me and we started a debate on Twitter. So this is fact and not doctored. Please we need to stop all form of propaganda. The audio is very detailed enough and the voice is extremely familiar. People are trying to protect this false prophet. In a sane society, his church should be under locks and keys and he should be warm jailhouses by now preparing to face a competent jury and judge.

striktlymi: Probably you do not know. Ask anyone who is involved in mainstream journalism in Nigeria and they will tell you that it is 'standard practice' for organisations to offer 'outfield journalists' some form of stipend. It can be in cash or in 'kind'.

This has nothing to do with giving bribe as the journalists are at liberty to report whatever they witnessed on the scene. The stipend is largely given because a lot of these journalists are not members of staff of these media houses. Some work freelance and the pay they get from any job is hardly adequate for them.

As a gesture of good fate, those who request their presence, most often than not offer them something as a form of gratitude. Some journalists will even tell you to your face that they will refuse to come if they are not getting anything. Note that the money given is not meant to influence their opinion on any matter.

If you actually noticed, TB Joshua offered the money upfront without asking them to report what he wants. He went as far as asking them if they have gone to the site and that he does not want to interfere with the investigation.

That does not sound to me like someone who is trying to hide something or bribe anyone.

They call you to blackmail when they have information about you. so you can pay to either water down the news or not put forth the news. However, a bribe is a bribe and what T.B Joshua did is to give these journalists a bribe. Whether it is feeding money, turkey money or welcome money, it is a bribe. If there were no issues in his church, he would not be handing out such money.

I have read your epistle and you have failed just like the leader of your organisation has continued to fail to convince both me and the general public. I have always been sceptical about your leader. I have nothing against him as a man but as a religious leader - Sure I do. A man who see his family "once a year" fails in his duty to uphold his family duties. I don'tt care about who the sponsors of Boko haram are. All I know is someone has the power and the relevant laws to bring down whoever is sponsoring those blood drunk bastards but for his clue.less has not been able tto achieve that. I disagree with the OP on some points. Yes the song lacked class because it was funk and lifted off kook and the gang but we all know P-Square is good with copying. Well I do not support the Nigerian Medical Association on their strike. I have always told my doctor friends that the leadership of their association is selfish, inconsiderate and lack professional ethics. Strike should never be the ONLY way out to get the attention of the government. It is an unpatriotic and lazy approach in handling crisis.

On the other hand, I feel the Government took a harsh approach by sacking resident doctors. I will not blame them, giving the emergency situation in the country and the insensitivity of doctors to call off their strike and assist the nation in curbing the spread of Ebola.

At this point, I do not know if I should criticise the action of the Government or to applaud them for taking a hard approach in stopping the annually strike situation of our doctors. I also remembered losing my sweet mother because doctors went on strike. However, any approach/actions to curb Ebola from spreading is a welcome development.
