Rather ask yourself, why are these liars always trying to discredit the Catholic Church?

Okay I just saw this thread on the Pope latest confession. I do not know if it is true but it confirms my assertion above.

https://www.nairaland.com/1981188/there-no-hell-fire-adam#27783323

I am not writing this for you to believe or argue. It is not my interest but to let you know all these confusion are unnecessary. For surely one day you will know the truth (either in this life or after) and if you truly want to know the truth now, you must prepare you mind

Pope Francis - I must confess I admire you. You were ordained pope for a reason.

The pope just revealed the truth. There is no hellfire and all religion are true.
Christianity Etc › Re: Proof That The Story Of Noah Is A Fable And Unreal .... by Boss13: 5:45pm On Nov 06, 2014
Interesting topic. In my own opinion, I think the Noah story was not real. If it was, then it was a natural occurrence like the rainstorm we experience and if you do not get shelter, then you cannot be saved. I also think not all species of animals were in Noah's ark and probably according to the writers, it may be all to them because the animal species at that time were all they knew of.

There is a God or Spiritual force that exist much higher as depicted in the bible, much gracious as assumed and much loving as known. From that force we came and to him we all must return. There are extraterrestrial beings that visit this earth but many cannot see them with the naked eyes except you are trained or you are a child. The same is applicable to radio wave, you cannot see or feel it but you turn on your radio and jam to the music or listen to the news.

There is no hell as depicted in the bible, maybe the early preachers or bible scholars misconstrued it or deliberately decided to manipulate it to favour their selfish interest. There are so many heavens and even Paul made mention of the 3rd heavens.

All religion were conceived for a purpose and all lead to this same spiritual force but many have been misinterpreted. Saying to yourself that you now accept Christ Jesus as your personal lord and saviour is a foul cry to entering heaven and not exactly the way Jesus himself explained. When you die and surely you will, the truth becomes unveiled and the catholics were right about purgatory (to me that is the hell fire, where you suffer for all the things you did to other mankind and even animals and if you are so materialistic, alcoholic and a sex freak, you suffer greatly because you must purge yourself from all these before you progress on your spiritual path). There are some of our dead relatives still roaming this earth in pains because they are still attached to the things of this world.

Reincarnation is real - believe or not. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Moses, Elijah were mystics. Christ Jesus was the highest of them all and the greatest teacher to ever walk this earth surface.

My brief explanation might sound crazy - laughs. I have advised myself to stick to what I do, love my neighbours as myself (very hard to implement) and stop screaming that my religion or belief is better than others - actually none is. So christians should stop parading themselves and muslims should stop killing. Don't eat too much, don't drink too much, be good and do good without expecting any sort of benefits in return.

Truth be told... US visa is one of the easiest visa to get. If you have a good reason to go to us, your visa application will be granted. One pointer I noticed is that they prefer certain category of people to enter ie people with ties in US that already av proper jobs, professionals etc. I applied for a visa first time this year and had a very interesting conversation (didn't seem like an interview) with the VO, and I was immediately given my visa. My travel reason was simply vacation, told him I didn't know anyone in us and I haven't decided the tour package or hoteli will be staying. It was a funny experience cos I heard many funny reasons other people gave and in my mind I already knew dey will be denied
Chief that's because you got a job and your company must have done a letter of introduction. So they know you have a reliable source of income and you wont run away. Hence, hotel and tour package mean nothing to them because if you are serious, you will definitely sort that out.

That's partially untrue. But I only agree with you based on previous VO's comment for past denial on particular applicant.
Yes they do background checks I can confirm that. They check your financial status (Embassy Enquiries) and confirm it with financial institutions. For people who cook up financial details or especially when the account do not belong to you. Just don't waste your time, you would be denied.

The Funniest one I saw was in Abuja:

One young guy came out the door of the embassy building into the waiting area just outside the building and started jumping and praising God like he just won the lottery.. na so people outside start to para o! They started attacking the guy o! Saying all sorts and calling him name and asking if he was the first to get a Visa.. One very vocal woman and her husband who were dressed in matching ankara outfit just wouldnt stop, they just kept saying things like; Na Visa to Heaven?!, Its not a big deal, see how he is embarassing Nigerians, this is why the would keep rejecting us as if America is heaven, blah blah..

Then comes their turn.. The Cousular guy just asks them 'Why are you applying for this Visa', they gave an answer and he just straight up denies them.. OMO!! See as the woman burst cry inside the embassy o!! grin She started crying, begging, telling the guy that they were well travellled, have been to Ukraine, malysia, etc.. Omo! As the Security guy approached them, she started calling the guy a racist, saying God would punish him, calling him wicked, e.t.c.. grin

Omo!! I scatter laff for inside there wey be say all the Embassy people start to look me like say I dey mad..

even as I reach outside, the woman still dey cry o!! Omo! See the way wey I rush enter taxi loss fast, before that woman go stab me to death. grin

my funny (not funny for the applicant though) experience was watching some dude from the east. answering one question.

1: You said you own a farm, what is the value in naira? JAMB question grin grin grin the dude kept going, it is a farm and i make plenty money on it. it is in millions of naira. it is bigger than this embassy sef. grin grin in my mind i was like, just give the guy a figure between N10-N15 million

I think the key to getting a US visa most times is your Financial Standing when filling out the application. my interview lasted 3 minutes and the interviewer told me my visa has been approved and to pick it up at this address in VI. I never had the chance to show him my carefully packed documents. strange. i thought it was a prank. i actually thought i had been denied until i got to DHL office to pick it up. my Wife was even heavily pregnant and the questions he asked were

1: have you been out of Nigeria as a family -YES
2: Do you plan to give birth in the US - YES
3: have you made arrangements -NO i plan to if i get the visa but I have made calls

scanned our finger prints and that was it.
Very honest answers. If you have answered question 2 as negative, you would have been denied.

I saw a lot of funny things.the crowd there was similar to that of the redemption camp at a distance grin grin grin.I saw a lot of folks kitted like business men, some from the word go I already denied them in my mind.funniest of my experience that day was a lady who was interviewed just before me.she claimed she was going to see her uncle in Atlanta whose wife just gave birth.the consular asked if she has a job to which she said yes.without asking she said she works in an oil and gas company;name have never heard before, the address she gave was right beside my house....lol.I tapped myself to wake myself up from the dream...the consular asked how many month was she gonna help babysit the child as she claimed...she said 8months...the consular denied her and here she goes kneeling down.please sir for heaven sake, for the sake of this new baby pls give me this visa...I literally busted into an uncontrollable laughter as the security guys showed her the way out.it was such a gorycomical sight.guys share your funny experience at the us embassy
Come'on you have a job and you want to spend 8 months baby sitting a child in the US - see how people deny themselves visa. What kind of job would grant you 8 months vacation - what a dumb answer from the lady.

Hilarious experience though but she caused her rejection. I guess there was no letter of introduction from the company she claimed to be working with.

seems u lack the ability to comprehend. did to know the meaning of ecommerce at all. I dont have problem in buying a fake product once I'm aware it is fake but branding it to be an original product and even getting rid of anything on it that will make customers suspect its a China product is where the problem comes in. That is a classical case of FRAUD. BTW, did Seun make any derogatory comment on this thread,so how did he help in pulling down the man's business. there is know cause for alarm if the allegations made against him here by his numerous workers is false, trust me people will still patronize him.
You are not being truthful. Who wants to buy a fake product? I never called his product fake but substandard. Definitely, we all want a great bargain and not a reap off. However, have you heard from one customer coming here to complain? The owner explained the reason and that shows true leadership, owing up to responsibility and trying to make amends. For the price he is selling those products, sure they have to be substandard and like I said not everyone would want to pay N50,000 for wrist watches and likewise not everyone would want to pay N2,000 for wrist watches too.

Rebranding his products is not an offense, and I will assume he is not rebranding to create a false impression because all what we are dealing with here are hearsays especially from disgruntled employees. Truerebel knows his customers/market and what they want, he has created a product to serve that market. In the future, he may either liaise with wrist watch manufacturers or even manufactures his own brand of wrist watches. Now because he already has a brand name, there will be little difficulty in selling the product.

To me this is not fraud, but serving a particular market with a product they can afford. Truerebel cannot come to me with a N2000 wrist watch and expect me to buy, I will never buy because that's not the kind of wrist watch I need. However, someone else would be interested in it because the price seems right and for whatever reason the product quality does not match his particular taste, he should know that all what he got what a bargain and nothing more.

My annoyance is with the disgruntled staff, who is also willingly to go into a similar business like that of his previous employers. I am absolutely against owing salaries or maltreatment of staff but the actions and intentions of the OP are absolutely wrong and obviously has nothing to do with non payment of salaries.

I have taken out time to read through every comment and I am terribly shocked people are quick to say truerebel is defrauding his customers. I beg to differ. He is selling a product and if the customer is not pleased with the product, they either request for a refund or stop patronizing him. I think truerebel is still learning the ropes, as a leader or CEO of a company you don't know everything at once. There is so much to know or learn and by doing this you probably won't start your business.

Seun and moderators, you were unfair to truerebel. This is a public forum and a lot of kids are here, some are even insane. As a business owner, I assume you should have some experience except you do not handle employees. You have succeeded in destroying his business based on hearsays. However, you have also failed to note that other business owners are watching you too. Is this the way you intend to treat them?

That being said, @ OP, Please sheathe your sword, I am sure enough damage has been done and these company has learnt some valuable lessons...
If your employers treat you as crap, you resign and move on. Listen, I worked with a cruel boss, in short from a subordinate point of view, all bosses are wicked. However, whereever I see this man, I greet him, I give him his due respect. He trained me and even though in my heart I sometimes remember our issues with pains, I still respect him. The best treatment you can give to a wicked boss, is to quit and become successful and not this piece of shit this guy is doing here.

This thread highlights the reasons why a lot of Nigerian youths struggle to make it in life

I have read the posts of both the accused employer and the disgruntled employee (s) and I have come to one conclusion- It is a huge task to be an entrepreneur in Nigeria.

Not only do you face a challenging business environment but you also have to deal with stubborn under achievers who have an inordinate sense of entitlement.

The OP has been making noise on Nairaland and it is quite pathetic that the site has given him/her to platform to discredit the business that has placed adverts on Nairaland without conducting an internal investigation before putting it on the FP. Shambolic behavior from NL

The owner of this site is an entrepreneur and he obviously knows that it is impossible to satisfy all employees and users all the time. People will complain about anything and everything immediately they feel they are not getting their way. What the admin of this site usually does is to hide posts and threads that castigate his handling of the site.

It is very interesting that he has given people the opportunity to do the same about other businesses without any consultation or deliberations on the the surrounding and exact facts. This is all to attract viewership and promote his own business. That might work for him now but in the long term, it will cost him business and patronage.

If I was a business owner, this thread will tell me that it is not advisable to put up an advert on a site that has major reporting and communication issues.

Anybody can make claims but it is only reasonable to determine the credibility of the accusations before negatively publicizing it.

@ OP

What businesses have you started in your life?

Do you any experience in managing a business?

Do you have any people management skills?

Do you have any training or experience in organisational confidentiality?

Instead of engaging in pointless revenge, why don't you channel your energy to improve your own life?
Your comment does the differentiation. I read it thrice. extremely matured. Everybody wants to be a business owner but have no clue what it takes to start and stay in business.

I am not being one sided. It is obvious truerebel is hasty in taking decisions (especially regarding laying off staff) and maybe lacks customer satisfaction (for not reaching out to unsatisfied customers).

BUT LUMMYGUY HAS ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT TO COME OUT AND BOAST HE IS WILLING TO REVEAL HIS FORMER BOSS'S BUSINESS SECRET AND EVEN BOAST HE IS ABOUT TO LAUNCH A SIMILAR ONLINE BUSINESS.

There's something called nondisclosure agreement. I guess truerebel ignored his staff signing such.

I am just upset at lummuguy's nasty attitude to a former boss. He has forgotten life is a swinging pendulum. You might just need to return where you are coming from.
Imagine. Fighting your former employer, your boss - Jesus. I have worked with wicked, selfish bosses. I have worked with unreasonable bosses with anger issues but I have never and will never fight them. A boss builds you up. His negative builds you too. Your comment make me sick. I noticed you want to start the same business. Good luck with that. I am damn so sure you will never succeed. It not a curse, it is fact. Business is not an emotional journey. A product with price listing of $0.89 is nothing but an inferior product whether you buy from China or US. pricing your product entails a lot. I will not want to give you tutorials on that because I don't like your attitude. If you like buy for $2 and sell them for $2 that is your business. But never criticize another man's business for it is very difficult to stay in business than to start a business. End of the month are terrifying days because many struggle to pay the salaries employees are busy spending around. Some business owners go to banks or loan sharks to borrow to pay salaries.

You must either be a business owner or one managing other people. My latest wristwatch cost N34,000 I got it from Amazon. You want to buy N2000 wrist watch and expect it to serve you all your life - these guys are crazy. That man truerebel sells cheap ridiculous stuff and automatically they would never last. How can you buy gold for N1000 - Jesus. Go to oanda.com and check the current price for gold.

The only issue I see here is disgruntled staff fighting their employer. Truerebel knows his market, he has provided an alternative product for people who cannot buy expensive jelweries. Jelweries are expensive, a good watch starting price is from N10,000 and I know an average student can't just wake up and blow N10,000 on a wrist watch but he needs a timepiece and if there are alternatives, he goes for that. Nothing wrong with what truerebel is doing at that price, his product must be substandard

Truerebel, if you had an employment letter and contract signed by your previous employees especially the TRAITOR and GREEDY FELLOW called lummyguy you can bring them all to their knees either by paying heavy fines or sending them behind bars for damages. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED LET ME KNOW. Judgement on them will be passed within a month.

Hmmmmm. I understand what you have written and even agree with you. But I just want to point out to you that one of the reasons why the OP came to this forum to vent is because he also got the job from this forum. Also if you read this thread and the other one, it is written there that TRUEREBEL advertises for new staff on nairaland every two weeks. You will also notice on the other thread that there are other people apart from the OP (at least three of them) who also have issues with true rebel. If the OP and the others don't write all this, there will be others who will also see true rebel vacancies on nairaland and fall into the same situation. With the way both parties have stated their case, anybody who wants to take up an employment with true rebel will go into it with both eyes extra wide open. It is better for dirty linens to be washed in public if it will save someone else the same heartache
Oh I don't know he got the job through Nairaland. I hardly visited this section on nairaland. In that case, I apologize to the OP but he should note too that his actions are not good. Go through the right medium to fight your course.

Truerebel, it is easier to start a business than to build a sustainable business. Don't build a reputation for truerebel fashion as the worst place to work in. You have to understand that labour turnover comes with cost, maybe you are not paying for advert but how about training, how about idle time/period when the staff is yet to acclimatize with the work culture of your organisation. When employees know that they are not secured, they will not commit to the cause. Make them feel at home, however sanctions can be carried out on erring staff. If the cash is available, please pay them as at when due, motivate them and also let them buy into your dream.

Also, please note that you have to do something about your product. If your staff say customers are complaining, then do something. I noticed I saw a lovely ring on your website but I had doubt to purchase - that is how bad you are damaging your brand and organisation. The most important thing in your business is your product, if your product is bad then what are you selling? Next comes your employees, they represent what your organisation stands for - a scuffle looking employee depicts a scuffle organisation. We all learn from experience and I believe you are still on your learning curve. Take care and be a good boss.

I can only see you typing a lot of words with very little sense. Its people like you who encourage the way employers treat their employees with disdain. Before the OP was employed there must have been terms of employment which included working from Mondays to Fridays only. If for any reason there is to be a change in that arrangement e.g coming to work on saturdays, it has to be with the agreement of the employees. It is improper for an employer to suddenly coerce his employees to start coming to work on saturdays contrary to the original terms without any provision for overtime pay.
Not only that, it is clear that the OP clearly declined going to work on saturdays while he was yet to be paid for the previous month. Can you honestly ask your own brother to be working overtime without pay for a boss who was still owing him the previous months salary. If the man was having increased demand as he claimed he should have been able to pay the OP. A boss who pays his employees as at when due increases their morale and his business ultimately benefits.
So because he wants small businesses to grow, he should continue working for 6months without pay abi. What nonsense! If the man knows he can't afford many employees because his business is still small he should employ only the number of people he can conveniently pay. Turning young people into slaves all in the name of small business is madness.
I am against Truerebel owing his employee that is absolutely not right. However, the approach the OP is taking is absolutely wrong. If he truly owes, let your lawyer write him. The underlying issue here is DEBT and debt only. So why would he come to a public forum to wash dirty linens. Owing a business is different from managing employees. I believe Truerebel is learning, in fact he even said that himself. I speak from experience, employees are only after their interest and that is absolutely their Salary. Most business owners even borrow to pay their staff, some take overdraft loan and pay interest, some approach loan sharks. Automatically, the business should fund its expense and how does it do that - through sales my friend and who should champion sales - sales representative or business development team and when they don't do so what happens - nothing my friend, no sales no money. When there is no money, how do you pay salaries. If you borrow, you increase your finance cost and put your business at huge risk.

So you see my friend being a business man is not easy, dem no dey use business form niceness. You should nice as a human but be firm and fair too. If they can prove to Truerebel that they worked, he should pay them off else let them get their lawyers. Also, my advise to Truerebel is to seek ways to get employees commitment and reduce the labour turnover in his business because staff replacement has its own cost too in case he does not know.

The OP is not but a disgruntled employee. At first, I was sympathetic to his cause but not till I read the responses from the CEO. There are always two side to a story. Some employees just do not understand the concept of keeping a business afloat, in other works - to open shop, they are only interested in their monthly pay. Lets all assume that he is selling sub-standard products, however please note that the company's pricing has nothing to reflect with scamming people. He has to make profit so that he can pay your disgruntled a$$, pay for fuel, logistics, advert, rent etc.

Based on the CEO's response, he informed you and your colleagues that there is need to turn up to work on Saturdays, he gave his explanation - based on increase demand during weekends. Yet some of you did not turn up. How do you want him to increase sales and pay you. Honestly, you deserve to be sacked and it has nothing to do with one-man business. You will also be sacked or sanction in a joint-stock company too because stupid negative people like you do not deserve to be employed.

Okay he sells sub-standard products, let his customers do the talking by moving to the competition but you coming up here to run your mouth shows how disloyal you are, how disgruntled you are and how stupid and negative you are. You are part of the reason, small businesses don't grow. Everybody wants to own a business, yet no one want to be submissive enough to learn the ropes. Your behaviour on this forum is pissing me off and you need to get a life, you fool.

True business men don't experiment they execute a well researched and confirmed business model.

PEACE!
Not true. You will never understand till you start your own business. He might have some pride issues but with time he would learn. I wanted to accuse True rebel (and I know he has his issues) but I had to realise that employees just want to be paid without adding value to the organisation and what is the nonsense of earning N9,000 and bringing N300,000 into the company. Why should employees sit down and start to evaluate another persons problems. Do they have any clue of the overheads that is incurred? It is a new business and all that business needs is cash else it goes bankrupt.

For truerebel, if it is true that you sell sub-standard products, you will run out of business because customers will not longer trust you. Honestly, even if you are so nice I will have doubts buying your product based on the write up here. So you need to revamp your entire inventories, change your suppliers and gain the trust and confidence of your customer. You cannot blame the climate conditions of the country for the quality of your product. Also, try to pay your staff too. I understand some are lazy, wicked, never reliant and just want to play around and get paid. Draw up a contract agreement for them, also get their buy-in and execute. Remember they are humans with emotions too, since it is a start-up don't be too bossy. Be nice but firm.

so why did apc post the wrong pix? Apc can not win the election through propaganda, by supporting boko haram.
I do not know why the wrong picture was posted and why Reno Omokri & Co are very interested in pictures these days. Posting of real or fake pictures does not take away the fact that thousand of Mubi residents have fled their homes because it is no longer safe. If the president will only leave second term ambition and squarely tackle the insurgence growing strongly in the north, we will would be grateful. After all, apart from looting our national treasury, ensuring our safety should be his primary concern.

Our president is nothing but a puppet staged to promote the selfish interest of his personal friends. We have given him some many benefit of doubts but he continues to disappoint us. He relies so much on the ill advises of his counsel, who are only concerned about protecting their jobs. National interest should come first, rather the president promotes his self interest and he has been doing it since he assume office as the president. Little wonder we hear and read about the petty politics he gets involves with. Anything that pretends to create a dent on his ambition is of huge concern to him.
