Please note, it is a choice to be a criminal and not a hereditary factor. It is not in my DNA nor any of my relatives to act or think in such despicable manner. If it is in yours, please don't spoil the chances of others who want to better their lives.

It is statement like this that continues to promote this bad behaviour especially from Nigerians who should be good ambassadors outside the country. Another reason why crime thrives in the country. I think we need to stop it. What is skilful defrauding peoplehuh

You obviously have not done any homework...Read page 0 to 50 only, half of your concerns have been addressed.

As for this question 1, you do not need your birth certificate, only your kids will need (assuming you have kids)...other questions read the thread, pretend its a novel.
I do think it would be fair enough and fast enough to answer the question than referring me to read 50 pages.

Hi guys, nice job you are doing.

I'm excepting ITA. My score is 453 and I'm gradually gathering my documents. In order not to make any mistake. I wish to ask the following questions

- Do the primary applicant submit birth certificate? My birth certificate is really old

- What documents do I need for the Medicals

- What address do I stipulate for my previous employers in view of my reference

- What are the other requirements and documents to gather in order to submit

- How long will the process take and is there a way to request that my application be process in London because I read London is faster

- My wife was initially denied US Visa but later given, do I need to state that when applying

Thanks in anticipation

Family › Re: Broken Eye Socket And Knocked Teeth – Lady Shares Her Story Of Domestic Violence by Boss13: 8:00am On May 03, 2017
Shelloween:
Do you know what? You think it's only men that beat women in a marriage. What about thousands of women that beat their husbands? Do you see the men going public with their own BATTERY? When men beat women, everyone goes gaga but when a woman beats a man, it becomes funny. Do you know how these men beaten by their wives feel? Too ashamed to come out. Are they not human too? Women would always post their shit online to get sympathy.
You are going too far. How about millions of women that beat their house-help and maltreat their children. Is that not domestic violence. Successfully, Nigerian women have coined domestic violence as one where a man beats his wife.

The OP claimed that domestic violence is on the increase and I refuse to agree. What we have now is an agenda to create rift between men and women. An agenda to emasculate men and devoid them of opinion.

Nigerian women are the major perpetrators of domestic violence in Africa. They beat their children, they devour their house helps, they insult relatives and verbally and physically assault their husbands. They are the instigators of domestic violence, yet they are pretentious and want to assume the role of the victim.

If we want to reduce domestic violence drastically, we must investigate the root cause and the role women play as promoters of domestic violence.

Please see the definition of domestic violence before it was redefined by Nigerian women

Domestic violence - violent or aggressive behaviour within the home, typically involving the violent abuse of a spouse or partner.

Yeah, and in truth I'm about changing that 'NEVER HIT HER ORIENTATION' because the abuse is almost becoming a norm.

I had a black eye for 2 good weeks early this year and had to tell colleagues in the office that it was an accident I had whilst playing ball.

U can just imagine
In your case, people will hardly believe you. Some will even laugh at you. Guess what, it is women that would laugh more. The reason why is because of this preconceived notion that domestic violence only affect women. Which is hardly true. This agenda is tinted to one side and aimed at making men look bad.

Domestic violence is bad and both genders can be victims. Now, my question is should a man leave his home because his wife is violent or should he seek professional help?
Romance › Re: The ‘endure It’ Syndrome: Women, Flee From This! by Boss13: 12:15pm On May 01, 2017
This thread typifies the "women sympathy agenda" being pursued by other lonely women. Nobody speaks about the underlying factors that degenerates to domestic violence. Violence is not a precursor, but an aftermath. For example the violence in the Niger delta is as a result of years of neglects and environmental degradation.

This thread and similar subjects continue to promote the division between the male and female gender. It is blind, subjective and fail to see that domestic violence is a two-way street and not a male dominated activity as they always want us to believe.

It is rather shocking that rather than promote family unity and love, these folks will rather want homes separated, families torn apart and children heartbroken. They consider separation as the best solution to domestic violence, rather than counseling or teaching young people that violence of any kind is wrong whether physical or verbal assault. They forget that a violent person, male or female, is a violent and such person can pick on anyone as prey.

They want to denigrate the male folks and make men appear as beast. Reasons why some actresses will inflict pains on themselves, take pictures, rush to social media to gain unwarranted support. This trend is nothing but wickedness.

While I am against any kind of violence, whether domestic or public, these folks pursuing this agenda can do well in creating community centers against domestic violence where professional counsellors can review cases. The aim should be about ensuring family togetherness first before considering alternative measures.
Family › Re: My Marriage On The Brink Of Crashing, Experienced People Needed Now. by Boss13: 10:59am On May 01, 2017
This is a pathetic case of mistrust and lack of communication. There is so much mistrust amongst men and women these days. It's such a shame. Everybody is considering the easy way out and shockingly divorce is not as easy as presumed. The people who say it is do so because they don't want to be laughed at and told they have made a mistake.

Adams, I'm sad you brought your issue to a public forum and at the same time, you might have been in a huge distressed. So it's quite understandable. However, if you read the comments posted on your issue, it should give you the chills and a rethink to never do it again. Strangers insulting your wife, asking you to carry out paternity test on your kids, recommending you flog your wife or get a side chick to make her mellow. Some calling your wife an ingrate. These are people who don't know you, your wife or your family. Others saying the root cause to your marital problems is because you got her pregnant 3 weeks into your relationship. Man, I feel terrible for you.

First, you insulted your wife. You called her unprintable names. You also accused her of cheating without verifiable evidence - for these reasons, you MUST apologize to you wife. Please note that I stressed "must". Whether your wife is cheating or not, you have no proof for now. I also understand you were furious emotional, it happens. Now, you have to apologize.

Second, you are NOW a family with two lovely kids who needs both of you to survive in this tough world. Nobody, I repeat, nobody will ever love or treat your kids better than you and get the same satisfaction from seeing them thrive. Not even the side chick you may be considering bringing in. Adams, most marriages go through tough times, even on a consistent trend. So this is your moment to dig in and remove the friction.

Probably in your mind, you keep wondering if you had not gotten her pregnant in this first place. You know what every man, in marital distress, think the same too. That you married your wife 3 weeks into courtship after she got pregnant, proves you are a better man and one who listens to sound advice. Many men will bail and even ignore the baby.

Third, there is mistrust in your home. You don't trust your wife's business judgement and she doesn't trust you in being with her still the end. Both of you need to sort that out. You must also understand that people fail and that your wife wants to push ahead shows she wants to succeed. Her success should also be your success. You MUST help her succeed. Also, note that I stressed the must again. If you don't have the money let her know, if you can help with the loan, please do. Don't shove her aside. Support her dream and she will be grateful. Also, on the gift stuff, I think she has a point on the name issue. If you are not comfortable with that, buy all properties in the family name. It's not a gift when it's in your name - it's a loan.

It's also sad that your wife is belittling you to her friends, whether male or female. It's very sad indeed. Maybe because she lacks support and encouragement from you. Remember both of you are partners and should be on the same team. Eradicate this mistrust and bring your wife closer, encourage her, praise her and love her even when she is wrong. I bet you will do the same for your kids, so why not for the woman who gave you those children.

Finally, remove the notion that your wife is cheating and you want to seek separation. My brother, that divorce grass is not sweet at all. It will destroy your children's confidence, increase your mistrust for women, destroy your home because the other woman is more likely to mistreat your kids, degrade your wife, reduce the happiness in your family, increase the chances of you dying on time from stress. Only selfish people divorce and trust me, selfish people are never happy. Go and make up with your wife. Don't start another family because you ALREADY have a family.

I leave you with this - if you seek happiness, you must be happy. If you seek love, you must love. Love your wife no matter what.

Had my honeymoon in Mauritius. It's a beautiful island. Meet a few Nigerians. What I can say is that the place is not a place to hustle. It's mainly for tourism and the people are happy to take your money. The residents are mainly of India descent so I can understand the racism. Though I didn't experience any, maybe because we were tourist and they actually thought my wife and I were South Africans.

Business › Re: Naira Shortage Forces Banks To Boycott CBN Dollar Sale by Boss13: 8:00am On Apr 17, 2017
Nigeria is really a funny place. The CBN is trying to ensure that the Naira appreciates, yet there is less liquidity in the market to mop up the sales of FX - only 36% was purchased. Again excess liquidity has been mopped up by sales of FG Bond and this has increased interbank interest rate by over a 100%. This Clearly indicate that some of our Banks have liquidity problems even to the point of borrowing from CBN.

Buharinomics is catching up with these Banks and their sharp practices. Only in Nigeria, Banks declare huge profits and you see no correlation of economic activities in the country. Then you wonder - which sector are these Banks lending money to? How are they making these profits. The answer is through cutting corners and sharp practices.

The recent FX policy by the CBN will not work. They are supplying FX to the wrong place and also creating more avenue for speculations and hoarding. CBN is supplying FX for consumption - PTA and BTA; medical and educational tourism, but at the same time shortchanging the manufacturing sector. It is now creating a special SME FX market with another different FX rate. The CBN has also left MPR untouched since the recession. Banks are not lending because the economic climes are not conducive.

The CBN with its shortsighted policies will only turn the average Nigerian to a currency speculator.
