Thank God.

This is why I am usually cautioning people from blaming the dead. When people see someone killed by cultists, they just blame them for paying for their evils.

Happy as we may be for the op, there have been people who were never this lucky.

Again @ndlife, I thank God for your unusual escape.

Monopoly.

Government must infiltrate those their funny unions - from NARTO, to PENGASSAN, to NUPENG, to etc.

Infiltrating them and creating parallel superstructures will weaken their stronghold. Otherwise, a dozen refineries won't solve this recurring oppression.

GEJ is busy preparing handover notes. You still de blame Jonathan.

During the last time Baba was HoS, we had to queue for hours before we got items as common as sugar, tea, rice, etc. They were rationed to us as essential commodities by koboko-wielding soldiers, as we stood for up to 10 hours sometimes under rain and sun.

Since then, Baba never attend any school to better his knowledge about governing a country.

Did you not see the ugly treatment soldiers gave to civilians in the filling station yesterday? Before Baba won, soldiers no de display such harsh mannerism. Continue to blame Jonah.

When you were shouting Sai Baba, and people were telling you that you want change from fry pan to fire, hate for Jonathan and his people no allow you think.
Next time, a soldier can overthrow a civilian government, then after running military dictatorship, that soldier comes back to you and ask you to vote him president, why can't you vote the ex-dictator and he becomes president?

Last presidential election, you people gave serving soldiers a license to organize military coup d'etat.
Since you have become less Nigerian, wishing that Buhari will fail, you can go organise a party if he fails and you become immune.

Is this just crude ignorance or brute hate? You are already blaming the president-elect for the petrol station queues and military high-handedness, while Mr President GEJ is still fully running the country.

Your hate has obviously beclouded your reasoning.

I am an aspiring script writer. Just finished writing one but I hope its just okay for it to be used. I have read just one textbook on it which is a foreign one.

The total amount of pages on Ms word is 29 pages. Is this enough to run as a film for 90 minutes at least. I would appreciate some other requirements. Thanks in advance.
Don't worry, leave that to the Director- except you intend to direct it yourself.

This kazeem thing is getting out of hand, without them 99 percent of you will be grounded.

Good work from qualified technicians does not come cheap, and most of you are not ready to pay those kind of bills. Leave kazeem alone!!

If you have a problem try toyota, peugeot, mercerdes.......... dealerships let's see if you can take ur tokumbor cars there.

Kazeem has tried instead of opening multiple threads try and educate them a bit, cause at the end of the day you were standing there when your thermostat was removed and you did nothing.
Of course GAZZUZZ.

But that won't stop our fun.

And please don't spoil the humor.
Car TalkAn Ode To ' Kazeem' by BTT(op): 4:36pm On Apr 29, 2015
You told my happy very old man
"It must be Peugeot or all of PAN! "
So he hurriedly bought them both.

You told my poor little Uncle
"Beatles that hot ain't that cool"
You 'worked' a radiator to the booth.

And so you edged Sam's Volvo cab
"Injection systems are too drab"
Carburetor you slapped on it.

Thanks so much for the v6 phobe
You told Auntie it's just a robe
"All engines must 4 plugs be!"
Poor aged tired she
She sold her car and bought a can

"It must be Japanese or give a bolt"
You told while my knees revolt
So I took a ship and here I am.
Looking lost and hope I am.

Wasn't it you who changed my rad?
"Single cells are bad and mad!
Thermostats are sad and fried,
Fans must run on stop and start
Naija is hotter than Hell I bet my wad"

You ripped my dough and raped my fox
"The manufacturer didn't think of folks"
The manual is in Spanish and written by Jews
So I stand starring in awe
How you simply know it all.

Kazeem, who am I to hold a view!
Car TalkRe: How To Spot A 'kazeem' (kazeem's Top Fixes) by BTT(m): 3:32pm On Apr 29, 2015
Siena:
Slapping any spark plugs into any engine, as long as they fit.
Artificially raising the suspension of a regular passenger car.
Inflating tyres up to 60psi, despite manufacturer's limit. Wing a conservative 28psi.
Sealing a rocker cover with "gum", when a rubber or cork gasket is specified.
Stacking multiple head gasket.
Replacing cylinder heads, and reusing the old head bolts, tightened without a torque wrench.
Fitting a carburettor to an engine, junking the fuel injection just because it had a running fault.
Using plain water in an Engine, despite the manufacturer recommending a 50/50 coolant / water mix.
Washing the oil filter, when it should be replaced.
Running converted carburettor engines without air filters.
Fitting different size wheels and tyres on the SAME axle.
Fitting different size tyres front and rear on a vehicle with permanent 4WD.
Replacing a timing belt, yet reusing old tensioner, idler and water pump (if applicable).
Disconnecting the rear brakes, rather than replace leaking wheel cylinders or calipers.
Cutting and joining wires to bypass sensors / security systems, rather than fix the problem.
Welding broken leaf springs.
Running Abro ATF in EVERY auto tranny, regardless of manufacturer's recommendation.
Refilling axles and manual gearboxes with 20W-50 ENGINE oil.
Drilling holes in wheels to make them fit different axles and hubs.
Welding the viscous clutch of a mechanical fan so it runs at full speed, even when the engine is cold.
Welding broken drive shafts.
Welding broken propshafts.
Welding suspension arms.
Come Siena, you be senior Kazeem.

Car TalkRe: HELP!!! Which Do I Choose?camry 2001 Or Pegeout 406 by BTT(m): 2:12pm On Apr 29, 2015
Mishydoo:
Then why advice me otherwise?
Like I said, if it's your first car, you may not have problems with where to turn to when your car has issues as mechs who can try their hands on Toyota are readily available.

You need at least near-pros when Pugs are concerned. Not any mech can tame your lion.

The lion rarely demands repairs when maintenance is observed, and its parts are more pricey and less around.

Have to make a decision on which to buy as a first car.i have 1.2 mil as a budget.
what do you advice?
Suggestions please,am indecisive. i live in Ph and HATE mechanics.
Camry, if it's your first car
Peugeot 406, if you hate visiting mechs.

The 2001 Camry will be a better option. Virtually every Kazeem can try his hands on it. The 406 is less forgiving with quarks.

My opinion.

Caveat: I have never owned a Camry but own a second Peugeot.

Well....you do not like Indonesia having the death penalty. I agree. But right now...you and I cannot do anything about it...because we are not Indonesians....we are not stake holders in their legal process.

Hence my suggestion.

What is horrible for X is sometimes nice for Y. People are different from each other. The only way to change Indonesia's practices...is by taking part in their political process to change such practices. And you cannot do that without being a citizen. Saying ''It is all bad'' from the comfort of your nice house does not change anything.
I agree.

Thanks for bothering.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: STERLING BANK RECRUITMENT- The True Story!!! by BTT(m): 10:52am On Apr 27, 2015
bennyrazz:
I really don't know why some Nigerian graduates can't dive into business or set up a company be it in servicing/manufacturing/production etc sector. We have so many first class candidates these days and yet they roam the streets looking for jobs. Well, graduating with first class does not mean you will succeed in business though Sterling bank and other banks/businesses/companies in Nigeria was someone's initiative. Stop blaming employers of labour, start blaming yourself, that's the way to move forward. If companies are treating graduates with so much disdain, that alone should be your motivation to start something small and grow it till it becomes big. That is my own 2cents o
Sharrap you there!

Every graduate cannot just 'dive into business or start a company'. This statement reeks of hypocrisy and wickedness. Must you join in the insults and abuse the Nigerian graduate is passing through?

A fresh graduate should just start a company, or just a business - as if that is any easier than getting an employment and learning the ropes while still an employee. This should rather focus on ENCOURAGING people to start a business than castigating therm for not. Besides when you start a business today, are you not also going to be employing graduates someday?

I think this idea has been overtly flogged and has become trite. Besides, the op 's allegations against Sterling Bank should be treated on its own merit.

My best wishes to all who seek. May you find answers to your dreams.
