John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Do you believe this Rozz?
Was Jesus lying when he said it?

It's either you believe that Jesus is the only way or you call him a liar.
Rozz, I'd ask you to understand what is meant by "Jesus is the way", instead of merely believing it and trembling like you know who.

Well, OP suits the general belief among Christians, doesn't it?
Amongst some Christians, sure, and even amongst most Christians, but not amongst all Christians.

You just have to consider the size of the Christian book and wonder how many people never started it at the beginning and diligently worked their way to the end especially when they've been taught to a la carte read it and do not believe it appropriate to go up the mountain with Moses, Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. The story says they stayed at the bottom of the mountain worshipping a calf they made of gold. Some wrongly call them Christians when the truth is they have not fully imbibed 'Christ the Word' into their hearts.

President of the Humanist Association of Nigeria (HAN) Mubarak Bala has been arrested.

He was picked up by security operatives in Kaduna on Tuesday.

Leo Igwe, Chairman, HAN Board of Trustees, raised the alarm in a statement.

Igwe confirmed that police officers, who were not in uniform, took him from his residence.

Bala is being detained at the Gbabasawa police station in Kaduna.

His arrest has been linked to “blasphemy”.

A group of lawyers had petitioned the Kano State Police Command to prosecute Mubarak for insulting Prophet Muhammad on his Facebook page.

One S. S. Umar signed the petition.

However, there is also an online petition on change.org.

One Halima Sa’adiya Umar started the petition asking Facebook to close down the account of Mubarak Bala.

“All of us at the Humanist Association of Nigeria are deeply worried by the arrest and detention of our president, Mubarak Bala”, Igwe noted.

“Mubarak Bala will likely be handed over to the Kano State Police Command, that will prosecute him for blasphemy, a crime that caries a death sentence under sharia law,” it said.

The Humanist association urged the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the Kaduna Governor, Nasir Elrufai, to intervene and ensure his immediate release.

I have written to you about my posts that are being made to disappear but to no avail. You should be aware that one puts in much effort in crafting those posts, as scrappy as they often are, and just having what one has said deleted just makes the effort not worth it.

If I broke rules you should inform me so I stop breaking them, but if not you're allowing censoring by who knows who which really should not be happening.

I'm not writing this only because of my own disappeared post but so you can consider fixing a flaw in your system that allows anyone to censor post they dislike.

That said, reinstate my disappeared posts please!

Foreign Affairs › Re: Trump Says US Will Bill China More Than 160 Billion Dollars for Coronavirus by budaatum: 8:33pm On Apr 28, 2020
mgbadadike:
You think so?

Germany the heart of Europe has similar sentiment as Trump regarding Coronavirus.

Concerning growing Apples and doing without them, mind you that many top World countries have been preparing a day without China in terms production and manufacturing.

Just recently, Samsung announced the end of mobile phones production in China.

Not only Samsung but about 50 multinational companies from Apple, Nintendo, HP to Dell are all moving their production out of China.

Recently, Japan said they're willing to pay Japanese companies to move out of China.

Only African nations are willing to leak China's a$$ other top world countries doesn't have that time.

At the end what will hit China will be disastrous.
The fact that China can erect a factory overnight and staff it with 1000s is what attracted companies to China, and I doubt many other countries can compete on that. Another attraction is the market. China is a vast market for foreign goods and they smartly insist on local production instead of importing finished products into the country. Basically, if you wanna sell in China you must make in China, which is why european car manufacturers and many others have factorys there.

As for Africa and China's ass. I don't agree at all. I recall a Briton once warning me we have to be careful of China. I told him Britain were in Africa trading with us but hardly building infrastructure which China is doing. And besides, we have evolved since then so will sign better deals with China than we signed with the West. When the Brits left they left no assets behind, but when China get kicked out they can't take their infrastructure with them.

Personally, I think long-term planning China will do very well, but time I guess will tell.

Regarding your picture. I'm renting with my money and not seeking charity so the respect I have for myself and the hard work I do to earn my money should make me not even want to give it to someone who disrespects me, and that respect for myself that I have should even make me not be in China in the first place in if I can't get the respect I deserve. But of course we all know there's lots more places in China willing to rent to us than this one sign, and not all Chinese are disrespectful just as not all Africans are disrespected like you seem to be.

Sorry dude, but I can't really go on conversing with a person as disrespectful and foul mouthed as you because I'd be disrespecting myself if I do.

Mbakuthegreat:
Why do you choose to be stupid? I dont understand. First of all i never blame foreigners, if someone disrespect you is because you dont respect yourself. Again i dont know why you choose to remain stupid... The matter of fact remain that Africans arent respected as a group, which you again remain stupid about. If Africans were respected no one would be denying africans services in China, because they are Africans. The picture below is from China just 2 weeks ago, is that respect? Do you think they will make an exception for you in anyway? Africans not getting respect is simple, majority of africans dont respect themselves. How many retaliated after seing their brothers thrown out on the streets in China? Infact some of our leaders went out making excuses for China. We will continue welcoming chinese into ours homes while they shit on us and punishing us in our own countries. I'm done, this wont go anywhere.

Mbakuthegreat:
You keep on proving my point over and over again that you have too low IQ to comprehend what you read. You being liked by the people you meet has nothing to do about respecting africans as groups. Your low IQ must be limiting you to notice the reason why africans are the onces targeted in China and not europeans is because europeans are respected as a group. Again, low IQ is the biggest issue of africa.
While I do agree that low education levels are Africans problem, it is a problem of the individual who does not bother to elevate their IQ.

As I said, if you respect yourself as an individual, you are likely to be respected by others. And if all Africans respect themselves and other Africans then others won't have much choice but to respect us too. But here you are, an African, repeatedly being disrespectful but expecting to be respected as if you can sow hatred and reap love.

You are targeted because you lack respect for yourself. If you respected yourself you'd take responsibility for what you reap instead of irresponsibly blaming others.

Oh, and there's lots of respected Africans in China and all over the world who are very highly respected. Just that you don't read about them because that's not what suits your narrative or perhaps that's just beyond your IQ.

Hmm. She does not understand that her "take this Bible and read it", is precisely what makes Mary special.

If Mary had not taught her son to read Jesus would have been a carpenter and no one would have heard of him. But the Bible sort of doesn't make it explicit that she was the educated one, just like it portrays thoughtful Eve as being deluded by a serpent!

The state government said “reports from the state ministry of health has shown that most of the deaths were caused by complications arising from hypertension, diabetes, meningitis and acute malaria”.
I guess they do not know that people with these conditions are more susceptible to coronavirus.

With the few number of tests done and in a nation that does not do autopsies, who will bother testing the dead where the tradition is bury before sunset?

Someone advised you to get out of your village. I suggest you take that person's advise!

I am African. I have travelled a bit, and only idiots disrespect me like you seem to be doing on this very thread. And in my own opinion, if I go about being disrespectful and rude and insult people just because their views differ to mine as you have repeatedly done on this thread, I should expect to be disrespected and hated too.

Perhaps take responsibility for the disrespect you get instead of believing we all are disrespected. We are not! Many of us are held in the highest esteem. If you respect yourself and others you are more than likely to be respected in return.

Started January 2019 and haven't got far but that's because each book is being listened to a number of times; and I drop it everytime a more interesting book comes along which is often; and I've read it once before from cover to cover like I'm doing now.

I am not reading it to believe, mind; seeking understanding instead.

I don't know her reasons but she may have something in her asernal

Find out who is behind the push on her.
He said "who is behind the push on her" in his op. And I would not be surprised if her pusher was behind the first push too, and likely caused the third "problem come start again concerning the court marriage".

Kboyvic:
Lately she came back telling me that her madam advise her to go for court marriage that it's very important, na here another problem come start again concerning the court marriage. If not for the lockdown our marriage is suppose to come by June.
I would not have bothered if she were thinking this all up herself. But that "madam" really bothers me when I think of a marriage being "a union of 2 people voluntarily entered into for life, to the exclusion of all others."

I think like you that she's working under the illusion that marrying in court "guarantees her the marriage", when the actual protection she seeks comes if she divorces in court wherever she marries.

It seems your political motive was from the clause " the enemy of my enemy is my Friend"!.

I wouldn't vote Atiku because even though he seem more intelligent than Buhari, it may not be good for our Economy: and by the fact that one of his solutions was selling NNPC. Corruption under Buhari hasn't faired better, he appeared to be clueless of where we are going nor what to do to get there. For me both are no-no!
Only a person who has forgotten how bad corruption was before bubu would claim "Corruption under Buhari hasn't faired better". But it's ok that you would rather vote someone else. Its what democracy is about. People, for diverse reasons, vote whom they want and the person with the most votes is elected, and at the third attempt, the majority of us have chosen my bubu, twice.

Please, do not wait until polling day next time to get your preferred person elected. Start campaigning now. You just might convince enough of us he or she is the best candidate and we just might vote for that person. But choose a candidate that you have faith would win as I would not want to cast a vote for someone and end up with the person I do not want at all, like atiku!
