YourMain: No. In an atheists mind God doesn't exist. A lot of times God's existence is based on Faith. So God cannot approach them if they've no faith. God's existence is not based on faith. And faith isn't required to experience gravity. |
Sports › Re: 5 Reasons Why The Golden Eaglet Will Not Lift The Trophy In Chile. by BuddhaPalm(m): 3:22pm On Nov 07, 2015 |
Christmasdon: ,hey, friends, statistics or may be history is so vital when it comes to playing football. Now here are the three reasons why we (golden eaglet may not be able to win/won the trophy)
1. The malians are unbeaten in this competition. They have won 5 of their overall matches and drew one, while the eaglets won 5 and lost one. you see that the malians have high odds of beaten the eaglets.
2. Remember, the golden eaglets are the defending champions UAE 2013 ,so lifting the trophy back to back may as well witch haunt us, like that of the Uefa Champions league, no team club have lifted it back to back, you know what i mean,
3. The Golden eaglets and the Malian teams are two big rivals, remember when the pair met at the under17 African championship finale, they comfortably did beaten us hands down on a penalty shoot-out and hence won the Trophy. If care, is not taken such scenario may repeat itself.
4. This is the first time the Malians are getting their hands near a trophy on the international level, and they may not likely want to let it slip off their hands. Malians are very dangerous opponent, bring on any other team at this level, i would say yes, buh! Malians fear them.
5. The golden eaglets have won this trophy 4 times, the 4 trophies were mainly won on the ASIAN SOIL or continent, so, the golden eaglets have never won this competition outside Asia. So you see where the malians have their advantage over eaglets. So, with this stats you see that the malians will do better in this competition. So, as a Nigerian lets pray very well to make sure we beat the Malians, Meanwhile , defiling all odds of this stat. Thank you. Lets support the eaglets.
MALI17 VS NIGERIA17 on sunday (i.e tomorrow) 8th november 2015. Kick-off time. 11pm. Sire, your idiocy is peerless. |

Other than that line, your story would have made some sense Without question, collectively, 'white men' are waaaaaaaaay smarter than us. Maybe not more intelligent, in terms of processing power, but the way they apply their intelligence is just in a whole other league. |

debbie: As far as i know,Nigeria is not yet ripe for all these ADVANCED TECHY STUFF we do.Do we have enough communication security,do we have enough internet security...have people been educated on the importance of all these and how to safeguard their data, info and personal stuffs( what about those who are illiterates, those aged men and women in the villages and towns, the ignorant youth who dosnt understand how all these works). What we want it to do this and that,CBN will wake up one day to issue an order ( which will turn to be a problem to the masses).Internet banking is porous in Nigeria, even face to face banking has its loopholes too.Even NCC has not even helped ordinary mobile phone users, have the ensured our information is safe.
We want to be like the developed world by force.....until then, biko try to educate your parents ,relations, uncles and aunties....and even friends. So that they wont fall prey to the gullible people out there.
We are far from cyber, mobile and telecommunication security....Nigeria doesnt even have a central security center where tech gurus work to ensure that things are safe.....please tell me if we have any?
Anyway my bvn number is deep down my BOX. You don't know what you are talking about. |

babygirlfl: There is an adage in my place that translate to mean that what you love is what takes your money.
If a woman can afford it, then why not. It's her choice. If she is also lucky to find someone that is willing and happy to fund her lifestyle, then lucky her and why not. Again it's her choice. It only becomes a problem when people expect other people to fund the expensive lifestyle.
Also, a well dressed woman does not translate to a woman who does not invest. Some can do both. I love investing my money as much as I love dressing up. Her point isn't that one shouldn't have fine things. Nope. One can have jets and Rolls Royces, and still not be vain and materialistic. Being materialistic is when you elevate these objects to the status of deity. |

A man is dating three women and wants to decide which to marry. He decides to give them a test. He gives each woman a present of $5000 and watches to see what she does with the money.
The first does a total make-over. She goes to a fancy beauty salon, gets her hair done, new make up and buys several new outfits and dresses up very nicely for the man. She tells him that she has done this to be more attractive for him because she loves him so much. The man was impressed.
The second goes shopping to buy the man gifts. She gets him a new set of golf clubs, some new gizmos for his computer, and some expensive clothes. As she presents these gifts, she tells him that she has spent all the money on him because she loves him so much. Again, the man is impressed.
The third invests the money in the stock market. She earns several times the $5000. She gives him back his $5000 and reinvests the remainder in a joint account. She tells him that she wants to save for their future because she loves him so much. Obviously, the man was impressed.
The man thought for a long time about what each woman had done with the money, and then he married the one with the largest breasts.

shortgun: I was a guest at a party organized by one of the bigwigs as far as politics is concerned is in the country.
We were doing our thing........drinking expensive wines and dancing to music by some of best Nigerian artistes when suddenly a big coaster bus drove into the expansive compound with two police escort vehicles. We were just wondering who the passengers were only to discover that the bus was filled with young girls.
The oldest among the girls should not be more than 23....I believe most the girls were sourced from secondary schools. I came to understand that some of the Aides to these big men normally arrange for these young girls on the instructions of there Principals whenever they want to host their friends.
The Oga on whose compound we were partying just came out and selected some of the girls and took them inside. He then said to us "Guys pick anyone you like and go enjoy yourselves".
I was not able to sleep throughout that nite.....These are men who have daughters of the same age with the ones they are sleeping with. These are men that most young people see as role models.
I lost my respect for these so called "elder statesmen" that nite. Yeah, they were all kidnapped. 23 is UNIVERSITY age. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: My Experience Today As An Applicant. by BuddhaPalm(m): 6:13pm On Nov 01, 2015 |
Sashafm: Being recently churned out by NYSC, on October 15th of this month. I have always heard about how precarious it was to get a job in this country without connections, but I did not actually know the gravity of it until now. Armed with my 2.1 certificate from OAU (The best University ) and my NYSC discharged certificate I thought now I have arrived to become gainfully employed.
I left Lagos for Abuja just 2 days after my POP, alas, after sending out countless applications and applying for any job that fits my criteria, I have not even been called for a single interview!!!.
I was swayed after a week and thought to myself, if I wouldn't be called for interviews I would go in search of the companies my self and make an appearance. I was Wrong . I am not really conversant with Abuja very well, but i was determined to go in search of a job physically instead of gazing at my laptop all day long. I dressed in my best, looked very corporate even wore my corporate court shoes that i painfully bought from my alawee in the hope that when I get called for interview by Standard chartered bank or PWC , I would launch it. Anybody that met me on the way would think I am a business executive,on my way to seal a contract deal.
Started the long journey to town as I stay close to the airport. on getting there I started from Wuse zone 3, as I had earlier sourced from the internet the addresses of companies that had posted vacancies in Abuja. My plan was to go and submit my CV in person .Unfortunately for me I was even unable to locate the offices as, the Address given on the internet did not even correspond. mogbe moment was activated as I was lost, broke and on heels with no direction. I was being turned back at most of the offices, that was when I realized the gravity of being an unemployed person. At a point removed my shoes and changed to my sanders as i had packed them in my bag. Dejected and sad, I turned back home. And here I am at home again. Glued to my laptop and scanning for job again. It is indeed pathetic. In the meantime, you could freelance on Upwork.com, since you have a laptop and internet. |
