superlanny:

When i read such stories i wonder who cursed Africans with this urge to kill and conquer anything that comes out of the ocean, thats why the whites are miles ahead of us in research and development, why do you think aquariums are not lucrative in naija, naija man fit use gold fish as substitute if no fish for pot. I sure say if mermaid do mistake wash up for bar beach, na pepper soup be that. This behaviour is not unique to Africans. Over time, with more sensitization and economic development, these things will reduce. Asians have a delicacy called shark fin soup. They catch a shark, cut off only the fin and throw it back into the sea. Here's a video of thousands of fins being dried on a roof in Hong Kong: https://www.theguardian.com/world/video/2013/jan/04/shark-fins-hong-kong-rooftop-videoAlso, before kerosene was discovered, whites used whale oil to light their lamps. They killed about 3 million whales in the 20th century alone. Whites also hunt exotic animals just to stuff and mount them. Even the venerable Charles Darwin ate most of the animals he discovered. |

Simplyleo: I really missed a good opportunity with this crypto thingy.
I could boast of close to $40k when a unit of bitcoin was barely $1k but I wasn't even aware of the stuff. It was when I had almost finished my hard currency that one goat started explaining and then it was as high as $6k. And even then, I could still afford one but I thought it was risky as per stock market. Now, I understand it goes for as high as $26k and I don't have even $1k The past is past. Focus on discovering the opportunities that are present now. The future is even more pregnant than yesterday. No time in history could 30-something-year-olds be billionaires in large numbers. In the nearest future there will be tons of teenage billionaires and wealth created at unprecedented scales. |

BabangidaHamza: Sports Industry Tennis-Williams, Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Woznaski, and Sir Andy Murray Football- no need for mentions Basketball-Curry, James, Kwahi Leonard, Harden, Formula 1-Lewis Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel Do u need more? It has to be Entertainment... Movies and Video Games alone... and if you want to stretch it, books. I even forgot music. ===== Update: Just checked numbers... Global film industry revenue for 2018 = $136B-- Top 5 Leagues revenue 2018: 1. NHL (Hockey US/Canada) = $3.7B 2. NBA = $4.8B 3. Premier League = $5.3B 4. Baseball (US/Canada) = $9.5B 5. The Romans, Greeks, Egyptians, Babylonians, Russians, Germans, Americans, the French, Chineese, Japanese, can all be defeated on home soil, but not the Yorubas. Impressive. |

Born2Breed: The Fulanis were rubbished by the Kanuri's.
The Jukuns...
The Tiv's
The Edo's stopped them at Auchi....
The Yoruba's stopped them at Oshogbo...
Stop the hype about Fulani's...their only advantage then were their arrows and horses...aside that they are COWARDS...who only sneak to attack when their opponents are sleeping. Real men don't attack you when you turn your back..... My brother honour no dey for war... Even the great George Washington sneaked across a frozen river, at night, to attack British forces while they slept...on Christmas night, of all nights. Surprise attacks is fair game. No one does man to man again. Even the almighty US military will bomb you to hell, from a safe distance (now using robots), before venturing to commit boots on the ground. The nature of warfare these days is to commit the most one sided massacre of your foes possible, by any means necessary. If it means surprising them in their sleep, or annihilating them in an ambush, so be it. |

The nest lineup he should have done is to put Mikel in that Midfield - Ndidi and Etebo can't hold ball.
Then drop Ighala and play Ahmed Musa as a top 9. Iwobi and Chukweze both wide.
UZoho or Ezenwa are far better goalkeepers too. Henry and co make mouth pass you...until they got coaching jobs. |

Individually, our players played their hearts out. But as a team, we didn't function optimally because the Algerians used high pressing, so we couldn't move the ball around with ease. We should have done exactly the same to them. They just had better tactics. |
