I do not understand this government for God seek. How can this be a welcome development as some people claim it is? How can a government force a market to sell at a particular rate via DSS?

Are we in a military regime? Were you super impose your law on people? This is a free market and ones it is competitive, the dollars will fall naturally. You make a bad economic policy and tell banks no to sack workers to stay in business and now BDC This is simply madness.

People wants to kill me with laughter this evening ooo. These so called man of God in Nigeria are just predicting instead of prophesying. Anyway, TB Joshua have unwittingly opened the eyes of many Nigerians to the harsh reality of things that concerns God.

Even former GEJ presidential aide. Reno Omokri told Joshua point black that "Who gave you the prophecy because the God I serve never lies". Others have also taken their own torn on him and this picture really crowns it all.

Could it be what he saw when he said and i quote "I see the winner of US election winning in a very slim margin and let me not keep you in suspense, I see a woman wining."?

Top Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson-Okojie, has revealed how some movie producers and directors refused to give her roles in their production because of her dark complexion, as they mostly preferred to cast fair-skinned ladies at the expense of dark-skinned ones.

She noted that she faced a lot and went through so many obstacles for being dark. The mother of three, in a chat with the Punch, said, “I faced that a lot and I tell people that my success is just grace. “It is very true that when I was starting out in the movie industry, it was difficult to get roles because of my complexion.

“Somebody once told me that I am too dark but that is where the grace and favour of God comes in. “Regardless of everything, most of the dark-skinned actresses that are my contemporaries made it. According to her, “It is not true that I pick just any movie role. People are different and what appeals to one person might not appeal to the other.

Ibrahim Magu, the current Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has revealed that some cabals are trying to bring him down. Also speaking on the issue, the spokesman of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, in a statement, frowned at reports on social media alleging that the anti-graft agency's boss is spreading lies. Uwujaren also said that the reports are an attempt by some group of people to damage Magu's reputation.

He said “In the last week or so, the social media has been awash with fictitious reports, all painting an uncanny picture of desperation by Magu over his purported non-confirmation as substantive chair of the EFCC, and of stricture within the rank and file of the EFCC workforce leading to resignations.
“One of such reports is the one making the rounds in several gossip blogs with the title, ‘How EFCC’s Magu and Sahara Reporters Peddle Lies to the Media’.

The report which is a parody of disingenuous invention of falsehood is the handiwork of mischievous people hell-bent on causing disaffection between the Magu-led EFCC and the executive on the one hand, and the members of staff of the EFCC on the other.

“The allusion to bullying and victimization of EFCC staff is clearly designed to instigate the staff of the commission against its leadership as there is no truth in it. For the records, no ‘senior EFCC core official’ has resigned from the commission and insinuation of mass resignation at the commission is mere scaremongering.

“The same applies to the claim that a sensitive unit has been set up in the commission to ‘bug the phone line’ of some persons. This is mischief taken too far!.” Magu also refuted claims that he is using his position to bully appointees of President Buhari, and some traditional rulers. The EFCC boss also re-affirmed that the fight against corruption under his tenure, is not selective.

First of all, am not here to discriminate but one of the renowned writer of our time, Robert Greene said in one of his numerous books (Act Of Seduction) and I quote: "If beautiful ladies will open up and tell us their worries, they will certainly say being beautiful is a burden to them".. An unidentified 12 year old, appeared in court on Tuesday for stabbing another boy, 11 year old Granville Bosel to death. The 12 year old was later released into his mother’s care while investigation into the stabbing continued. The circumstances surrounding Bosel’s death is not yet known.

The 11 year old who was a grade 5 pupil of Danie Ackerman Primary School and a talented cricket player from Nomzamo, was visiting his grandmother on Saturday, while his parents were in the Overberg for the weekend when the said incident happened.

A spokesperson from Western Cape Police confirmed that Granville Bosel died on the scene at a street in Sercor Park after the sad incident. ‘The victim, who sustained a stab wound to the chest, died on the scene due to the extent of his injuries.’

According to Times Live, a murder case which was opened was postponed to December 13 for further police investigation to be carried.

Daughter of Emir of Daura, Hajia Nafisatu Umai and the son of Shehu of Borno, Abba El-Kanemi got married last Saturday, in Daura, Kastina State.

According to the bride's uncle Alhaji Lawal Aminu, the marriage between the two is one of the biggest ceremonies the people of Daura has witnessed. He said the marriage has created a strong relationship between the people of Daura and Borno.

The Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin El-Kanemi and the mother both came and stayed in Daura for three days for the wedding which is classified as highly unusual in the Hausaland.

Other personalities present at the wedding includes; Governors of Katsina and Bauchi states, Aminu Masari and Mohammed Abubakar.

I have never in my life witnessed this kind horrible accident.

The Ondo State Commissioner of Police, Hilda Harrison has disclosed that 24, 000 police officers and men will be deployed to the state for the forthcoming governorship election. Harrison said this during the signing of a peace accord with political parties at the Officers’ Mess Akure, the state capital on Wednesday.

She also urged to political parties and their candidates to stay away from violence.

She said,

“There will be no room for breakdown of law and order on the day of the election. I hope that a week to the election, over 24,000 policemen will be sent here to provide security. “Tearing of posters should stop, we have received information that some people are tearing the posters of opposing parties; we won’t allow this any longer. Nobody has the right to tear the posters of another political party.

“There must not be throwing of stones or other dangerous weapons at anybody during campaigns. We have to be law-abiding so that we can have peace during the election period. “

Can this be termed as beginners luck? What a twist of faith. It has always been said sometimes that the road you chose to avoid might be the road that will get you to a successful end. Take the case of this 57 years old woman who in all her life believe that lottery is a waste of money and as such have never entered into one before.

She just went out to buy a lottery ticket to prove to her husband is a waste of money and hence to stop him from wasting the little they have buying these tickets all the time and lo and behold, she wins a whopping one million dollars ($1 million). Can this be called beginners luck?

Glenda Blackwell, 57, bought a $10 Carolina Millions scratch-off ticket Saturday after her husband asked her to buy two Powerball tickets, according to WLOS. Blackwell said she got the Carolina Millions to teach him a lesson about wasting money on the lottery.

Not trying to make an impression but it is worthy to analyse why these excellent candidates vehemently rejected their nominations. What seems to be the season of nomination refusals? Is quite strange. President Buhari has had his nominations refused four times recently.

Here are the four people that refused his nominations and their reasons for doing so: In case you still wonder if there are still real Nigerians, here is your answer.

1. Usman Bugaje

Honourable Dr Usman Bugaje is a graduate of pharmacy from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. He graduated in 1975. He later did an MA in African Studies and a PhD in Intellectual History, both at the Institute of African and Asian Studies, University of Khartoum, Sudan. He is a writer on national and international issues, and has published in both academic and non-academic journals and other media.

Dr Bugaje was conferred the honorary title of commander of the order of civil Merit and commander of the order of independent Equatorial Guinea by the president of republic of equatorial Guinea on 26th March, 2002.

He rejected President Buhari’s ambassadorial nomination, and he was convinced not to mention his decision to the media.

2. Dame Pauline Tallen

Dame Pauline Tallen is the former deputy governor of Plateau state. She is also a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) board of trustees. She turned down the offer for nomination for ambassadorial appointment to attend to her ailing husband.

Tallen said she appreciated the president for counting her worthy to serve Nigeria in the capacity of an ambassador, however, she has to let go to attend to her ailing husband.

According to her, she would not be able to leave her husband who has been sick for sometime now, in the hands of others to look after him, for the sake of the appointment. “It is a hard decision I had to take but I have to, because he is my primary responsibility,”

House of Representatives has summoned the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, to appear before it over escalating cases of extra-judicial killings in the country by his men. The police boss is to appear before the House Committees on Police Affairs and Human Rights, along with heads of other security agencies.

The House cited the case of Bayelsa State, where it said the Joint Task Force and the police had killed four “innocent Nigerians” in the last two weeks. A lawmaker from Bayelsa State, Mr. Douye Diri, who moved a motion on the killings, recalled that one of the victims was the late Izu Joseph.

Joseph was a footballer, who played for 3SC of Ibadan. Diri named other victims as 17-year-old Innocent Kokorifa; a 30 year-old man, Inyan; and five-year-old girl, Godgift Oduku. The lawmaker mentioned Eleki Community in Yenagoa Local Government Area as the place the extra-judicial killings took place

“The House is worried that in the last two weeks, the Nigeria Police in Bayelsa State Command/JTF have shot and killed four innocent Nigerians. “That the trend, if not checked, may lead to a breakdown of the law and order in a situation where the people will be forced to defend themselves from attacks from the very police who have been paid by tax payers to protect them”, he said.

The Chairman, House Committee on Ethics/Privileges, Mr. Nicholas Ossai, enjoined members to rise against extra-judicial killings by security agencies. “This matter of killings has to be properly investigated. “We should rise against injustice and recklessness by security agencies. This certainly cannot continue,” Ossai added.

Another member from Bayelsa State, Sodaguwo Festus-Omoni, described the killings as “worrisome.”

Femi Fani-Kayode reportedly slumped in EFCC custody over the weekend, though EFCC has moved to debunk that and says is a blatant lie and accuse FFK's family for wanting cheap publicity but the wife Precious and his aide says it's true.

"Its very clear they want FFK dead at all cost. He is a man that would never give you the pleasure of seeing him down so saying he isn't ill or never slumped on Saturday is just a way of trying to deny him medical attention.

He is ill and constantly checks into the clinic at the Commission and you have seen the health reports. This is pure wickedness," Precious said.
