Just to learn from other people's responses.

I did a little research and i asked myself, why do people loose fund on Forex which seems to be simple to a lay man. I described it as simple because, its either the market is going up or going down. this means for every decision you have 50% probability.

however, pple still loose as i did last year with an account of $7000 which made me took a break of about 12 months to enable me get out of the debt i incurred. In retracing my steps, i discovered the followings:

(1) forex is not a get rich quick platform. May be if we reduce our expectations to about 10% to 30% possible monthly return, then account blow out will reduce.
(2) Forex is for the deep pockets. If u do not have at least a minimum of $1,000, Please make use of Cent accounts as lot size in standard account with less than this amount may be overrun easily.
(3) Greed is a major factor in loosing account. If this can be suppressed even in the face of fascinating or a promissory entry.
(4) Do not play with other pple's money or promising pple you can give them a specific return. Market is unpredictable and dynamic. it may not go your way at times. so if u have over promised, the pressure to deliver can ruin the account.

Whoever owns this acct has taken too many trade on a small account. If you continue like this, you will always blow your acct. Fx is really for deep pockets not less than $1000. If u are using small account, ensure that when the market move against u, the max loss u can take must not be more than 10% of your equity. Once it is more, a run on the market will take u out.

Although, small lot size u give u small profit but on the other hand it ensures you dont loose ur hard earned fund.

Trading safe can give u not more than 20 to 30% per month but its better than blowing ur acct.

You will be issue 1 document from local government that will expire December the only paper that appear in between the year is called mid year paper its out already ,the paper comes out 1st week of June....As a matter of fact we dont need those documents but as 9ja thing we just need do erm to avoid disturbance.


Always try to ask them which paper are u requesting for , the only people that have the right to check your papers are VIO and road safety except of riders card being issued by lagos state ministry of transport MOT and you will see them with their lemon green uniform .

Just for learning, do you know the number of the required documents? One local govt tout will show you a ticket you have never seen before. i work on the Island and i see these touts under Marina Bridge asking for one thing or the other. The fine they impose, do they have receipt for it? Just pray not to encounter them.

The question is: how do they communicate when these tickets are out? through which medium? why the multiple tax in the first place.

I was out of job since last year march (I resigned due to harsh working condition and the place becoming toxic), so to keep body and soul together and my little family, I opted to drive for Uber/taxify, I did the registration and training but had no car forthcoming after several tries.

I posted here about wanting a car for hire purchase and I got one from someone on this thread by October (reason for me using a new profile, though I don't know the person's profile but since she picked my number from here, I guess she must be following this thread) but on the agreement that I make a down payment which I paid and I have never failed any of my remittance, so currently I have like 15 month to pay and be the owner of the car.

I stopped applying for job just to face the hustle as I had plans to start up my own little professional business, but there was this job I applied for before I got my last job, I had already meet with the CEO of the company but I didn't get a call back from them, so I just blanked it.

But I got a call from the CEO himself last week asking if am still available which I responded in the affirmative and to cut the long story I got a juicy offer and it came with an official car.

I am yet to explain anything to the madam that gave me the car on hirepurchase, I believe I must be honest with her because the contract is her own hustle as well, but I may not be able to meet up paying her weekly but I can still pay her monthly but that will be from my monthly salary (this is an option my wife frown at, her reason being that 10month of such money can get me that same car, why pay it for 15month)

The second option is to give out the car to someone else while the person remit to me and I remit to the woman (but the clause is that when I signed the contract, one of the term is I must not sub contract the car to another person, as the wan has right to get back the car if she discover such). To correct that I am thinking of meeting the woman and explain things to her ,so I can sub-contract the car, but you know Some Nigerians can be funny she may agree now just to come back later and trigger the aforementioned term.

Let me advise u. No child is untrainable, the question is 'what kind of training will fit'. On this basis, i will advise that you occupy him with other vocation which you think will interest him. This could be learning music, playing the Piano, drums, table-tennis, lawn-tennis, swimming, singing, computer programming, etc. You may be shocked that this vocation may interest him more than academic work.

The mistake we often make is to believe academic instruction is the best form of instruction. Lets give other form of instruction a try.

My son will be 9 in October but his behaviour bothers me so much. He acts like a day dreamer. He has turned me into a shouting and miserable mum as I had to beat him after I've exhausted other punishment options. To make this short, I'm going to summarise his behaviour.

He still cannot get himself ready for school in the morning. Either he doesnt cream his body or forgets to comb his hair or doesnt brush his teeth. He forgets to brush his teeth almost everyday. This made me to make a list of step by step sticker. I sticked this on their bathroom mirror and on his bedroom wall. Yet I have to keep reminding him everyday. For example, last week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday he forgot to brush his teeth and hair. I have to constantly be reminding him every morning. He is the only one that brushes teeth after getting ready. I trained them to brush teeth first before shower but he keeps forgetting.

I have to remind him to do his homework, and put it back in his school bag to return to school on Mondays. The book will still not make it to the school even after constant reminder. We've lost countless of lunch bags. One ended up on school roof. If you give him any form to submit back to his teacher. He will forget in his bag so I now give it to his sister to give to his teacher.

He removes his clothes, shoes, pants, belts etc and leave them on the floor, I bought two laundry baskets for him. One in his room, another in their bathroom, yet all his belongings end up on the floor that you can hardly find a space to put a foot. I dont expect him to be perfect but atleast to try so that his 70% clothes make it to the basket or shoes to their racks. He also has a book shelf and desk yet they also end up on the floor.

He plays so much that sometimes he leaves shops with items in his hands. So I have to always watch out for him. Living in a western country where black boys are stereotyped I fear for him. He can stare at the ceiling for hrs when getting ready for school or spend long time in the shower yet not using soap on his body. This usually makes us late unless I step in to help or keep shouting.

If you ask him to do any house chores, he will not do it instead waiting for us to forget so he can get away with it. When grounded not to watch TV, he will still do it once he knows am inside my room or busy with a baby.

Yesterday we revised all his lesson assignments (5 work books). I specifically asked him to put them in his lesson bag. I pointed at the bag. Now I drop him at the lesson only for him to say oh I think I came with old lesson books. I dont know how he ended up with old books in his bag. It could be he planned it as a way to avoid the lesson. If not I wonder how he will remember it himself as soon as I drop him and his sister as this is unlike him.

I've taken him to a doctor incase there is any diagnosis so I can give him all the help he needs but they said it's just his behaviour because according to the doctor he is smart academically. He is 18months ahead of his year level. So they ruled ADHD out.

Let me explain to you the underlying mathematics. As an investor, If you buy a good car for 1.8m all-in cost (vehicle cost,reg. and minor repair to put in shape and insur). then how much do you think i should give it out. If i give it out at 3.6m, it will take me 2 1/2yrs to get my money. As an investor, can i wait for that long? how many drivers can pay such money for such a long time. This now make pple to buy a naija used car and put it on HP for like 2m, the driver will now be battling repair because the car had seen good days. That is what is causing bad experience with HP. No intellingent investor will buy a correct tokunbo car and put it on HP when i can get a driver that will deliver the same amount for me with little or no repair.
