Ekakamba:The only major difference is the system works! If you research after Hurricane Katrina in the US and any other post-disaster periods, there were lots of looting and theft. These only happened because of the temporary break-down of law and order. If a nation decides to work its systems like the way Singapore, Malaysia, Kenya and even Rwanda is pushing through now, that nation will look pretty developed. It is a will and decision to work one's systems and not give in to insatiable greed that corrupts one's future |
It's sad but true! However, in life I have noticed how it's important to keep projecting your desires, whatever it is, small or large, because the future is still ahead. Some people that suddenly find themselves in positions of authority mostly only thought of partaking of the 'national cake'. This 'national cake' idea destroys technocracy, capitalism and progression in the country: it may seem good now when illicit cash flows into your hand but when the slate is to be cleaned many greedy 'subordinates' take the fall because they thought it was normal to greedily partake of the 'national cake'! I will encourage more strategic options being projected; in my case, with regards 'policing the police', because the future could just come looking for you as a result of how far reaching your desires go. There is a lot of promises an under-developed country like Nigeria offers which makes people from different parts of the globe to, in a way, keep a vigilant eye on the country. |
I believe it is possible: but policing in Nigeria will need to embrace community policing with a human face and not a dictatorial face! |
It will require a strong commitment from government and third parties experts, like a five year partnership, to ensure sustainability and transparency of this policing standard |
I initially wanted to say she is being lazy and all that, but on listening to the video I would say those writers are being abused. Most people's comment were based on only the brief write-up under the video. I do not believe the contract letter for the job will indicate the kind of abuse they will face. Sadly its mostly Indians and Chinese that do forced labor which is not the best for sustainable growth!! |
It will be a great progress if there are ways to initiate 'police the police' in Nigeria. Let there be a compulsory video capture of police checkpoints or units at designated areas in Nigeria. These videos should be available on all police online portals daily. As police are fighting crime, which is their essential duty, let Nigerian citizens start to build confidence in the police force through more accountability measures. This is possible since other African countries like Kenya are doing even better!. Abeg let anyone in authority encourage this so people will be proud of the Nigerian Police Force!! |

The only major error you make here is that whatever you have said of Christianity is not what the Savior Yeshua and his disciples lived by, rather in their deaths salvation travelled deeper in the stony hearts of men. It is totally different from how the 'Holy Prophet' in Islam spread his own faith, which was more of 'obey or die'- very different from being a follower of Christ. The spread of Christianity in the times you have talked about was by people bent on political and selfish agendas, never about Christ Jesus and the Love of God. Man always wants to manipulate their fellow men through religion or politics..Do not try to be religious, being a devout muslim or christian or whatever, but try to understand the Love of God for yourself and God, who is Love, will visit you!!! HIbreed: |
You made a good point, but you missed something. Some religious teachers like imams, guru (hindu teachers) and so many others, not only pastors, easily lure people into deception and hypocrisy. But as you rightly said, people should listen and be closer to God, cannot be overstated. We each have a journey; though we were born into some particular religious environment, we are individually responsible to grow into union with our creator. But how can we know our creator if we do not see him in the world he has made. God is love, religion of any kind is limited because its man's way to reach God, which can be very evil at times! In understanding God's love and wisdom, can we truly see His hand through all the wickedness done through religion and politics!! Peace |
Naijaguy12345:I guess this is one of the reasons that the USA cancelled the Dropbox options!!! |
Let more justice and professionality prevail |
Some tribal conflicts here displays too much immaturity and lack of critical thinking. Let wisdom and love fall upon every hateful heart! ![]() |
aorseer:If both men and women understand that they are both servants to each other as they serve God together, no one would be fighting to take advantage of the other. My own opinion though- still single, so l have to learn and live by experience ![]() |
Paulinus1:By mentioning money, are you implying if its a lot of cash for her body, a lady can take a risk? |
MhizzAJ:Truly, He is very merciful! |
Proudgorgeousga:Always mind generalization because it is mostly untrue. Remember you have a father, brothers and possibly uncles, so imagine what your generalization implies! Women and men are all God's creations, but some of them make evil/pathetic choices : it is never all of them. |
Man is truly a spirit with a soul living in a body. Once man goes, the body disintegrates. This story reminds me how important we all should keep feeding our spirit-man with truth and grace, let God's love rule our hearts through Christ Jesus, so the soul and body follows this path accordingly. |
234ng44uk:You fail to realize that there is really no comparism between Ojukwu and Nnamdi Kanu. But that is not what i am here to talk about. Most Ibo just want to live and make money without causing troubles. The north is always so eager to shed blood like if it is a birth right! You seem eager as well to jump into the bandwagon of puppets for the AREWA to carryout their agenda. If you can only understand the power of peace and unity you wouldn't be so filled with hatred, and for your information hatred does not breed over-night, there has been so much hatred for the Ibos before Nnamdi Kanu, but now is the opportunity to manifest it. I believe you know of the North and South Korea issues. I know some South Koreans and i have understood that whenever anyone survives to escape into South Korea, they are welcomed warmly and still considered as brothers and sisters, even though they came from the North. I don't think Nigeria has reached this stage yet, but the Northern parts of Nigeria that is so eager to shed blood do not realize that they most likely would suffer it the most at the end. Kanu is also a puppet which is why Ibos are divided on his approach. Those that fought the war do not want war again in Nigeria. But i tell you the truth, though i know a couple of wealthy Northern families in oil companies in Delta State, if you and the other AREWA puppets carryout this demonic bloodshed on the innocent people living with you in the guise of fighting Kanu, you would just realize that the South would come together to retaliate, not only the Ibos! I believe in one restructured and better performing Nigeria-not a stagnant Nigeria. Nigeria now is a big shame to most of us with foreigners and it is still the North that have ruled this nation because of Britain. Let negotiations and peace-talks happen, so we do not end up like the Republic of Korea!Because its only true Love and Justice that Nigeria can sincerely grow. |

Etogist:If you recall that the greatest of the commandment is love. So the old convenant is actually a shadow- Jesus Christ is the substance of it. That is why as there was the Passover lamb, which was annually done, Jesus Christ is the substance of the real Passover for all times. Grace and truth was selectively given in the Old testament but now it is for all mankind. If you truly recieve Christ Jesus into your heart, you are a believer and the laws has no hold on you. The believers live is one of love , not compulsion, that is why the prophecy was that the laws would be in our hearts. When you truly love someone, even when you misbehave, you feel hurt that this person loves you so much for you to disappoint him-its the devil trick to keep us feeling self-condemned. Always go to your Heavenly Father to receive forgiveness; and also fellowship/discuss/chat with Him! Most importantly, if you understand God's love for you, and the free gifts we have in Christ Jesus, you would not be willing to keep on doing/practising sins, especially repetitious one. We are all in the flesh, so we are growing in revelation/understanding in some areas to be victorious-but you are already saved and you are Christ's. *Study Romans chapters 2 to chapt 6, to better understand how to answer your question. |
Templerun95:Make we dey reverence God oo in our comments! This life is an investment into eternity, we are all passing through having a physical experience but when you leave the body you shall know that you are a spirit being. Mind your comments oo because life is not comprised in your tribe or ethnicity- life is in God, therefore because God made all of us, whether fine or ugly, give everyone due respect because you honor the creator by doing that. |
NwaAmaikpe:Someone, , or rather 2 persons, have died and their spirits are probably sad because they were snuffed out! But the silly comment you make is 'she decided to die'- you really do not reverence God! She was pregnant, facing such emotional, psychological and physical wahala and you just spew out such silly word like 'ordinary holding oo'. Have you been pregnant before? I am a guy, but if you browse a little you will get to understand how death could easily happen to women if they are careless during pregnancy! Mind your comments here because we are all spirits having a human body here; na only when we waka leave your body then you will understand how our every words are actually weighed in scales! A word is enough for the wise |
What amazes me is that with all she had gone through someone still looked at her to have as his wife! Yet we have the 'so-called slay queens' that pride themselves in their beauty only when actually what makes men stick to a lady is mostly from the beauty of her soul- which oozes out regardless of the outward beauty. Keep your souls filled with goodness, love and wisdom, trusting in God for everything. |
BUSHHUNTER:Why do you allow yourself to be judgemental? Firstly, the lady from the story is from Cross River and even though, do you realize you do yourself more harm than good by being hateful towards a tribe? This life we dey live, we no dey use tribe enter the after-life oo! Why not embrace the simple truth of loving people, because its the way of Satan to make it seem normal to be hateful. But its a bigger sadness when you start embracing hate and post hateful comments! ![]() |

Samcoco:Hi Samcoco, if you can contact c_o_obi@hotmail.com, i have a book to give you. I have learnt that at times when you're in turbulence, one needs to be still and let God be God. But if you are not knowledgeable on what you should know, as the scriptures says, "my people perish because lack of knowledge", i believe you will only remain a victim perishing because of ignorance. |
ubongoton:Freedom of speech is for everyone. But if you are to understand people, would a word like "oluwa is a thief" sound good to you? I am not yoruba but i believe oluwa means god, so also chukwu means god.I understand what you wrote, but there is serious deficience of sense in it. Ignorance of key words in other people's cultures is relevant if you want to succeed in the act of communication. Work your heart in the way God advised us..."..guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it comes the issues of life"...if you enrich your heart with ignorance, then i believe it would only take time for some a boomerang effect. Build love into your heart for everyone, because we are all before the Almghty God. |

muhamadnur:You are embracing wicked hatred towards a tribe without understanding if you are right! Did we have the 'joy' of having news spread in the 'speed of light' round the world as we do today centuries back? Do not give an excuse to embrace hatred to any one tribe - be against hatred because its a 'contagious' attitude that is easily passed on, but it's end just leaves you bitter and angry with others without knowing your real enemy is the hatred in your heart you embraced long ago. Let love heal your heart from hatred, God is love and one cannot understand anything of/from God if one embraces hate. |
Nigerians and there petty fight on which tribe is worse than the other!! You don't realize that in another country, there is only an entity, either a Nigerian or not. So any one calling out for names is just being 'pathetically naive' because, as Christ said that one 'does not know what he is doing'. Let there be more objectivity in reviewing issues pertaining to citizen, try to avoid immaturity/naivity in jumping into tribal issues- people like this, no matter their level of education, are akin to those who live in the stone-age, hating and killing other tribes because they think they wouldn't go extinct!! If you have received the love of God, then let it show in your objectivity-give hatred to voice in your heart and mind. |
