If both men and women understand that they are both servants to each other as they serve God together, no one would be fighting to take advantage of the other. My own opinion though- still single, so l have to learn and live by experience cool

Nigerian men are scum . They always show themselves in every country you find them in cheesy. If they are not murdering their wives or girlfriends they are committing fraud or selling drugs. or carrying explosives in their under wear

Always mind generalization because it is mostly untrue. Remember you have a father, brothers and possibly uncles, so imagine what your generalization implies! Women and men are all God's creations, but some of them make evil/pathetic choices : it is never all of them.

Man is truly a spirit with a soul living in a body. Once man goes, the body disintegrates. This story reminds me how important we all should keep feeding our spirit-man with truth and grace, let God's love rule our hearts through Christ Jesus, so the soul and body follows this path accordingly.

They seems to have forgotten so soon. Same people killed in their millions ravaged by war and hunger, hunger so bad they eat each other.
How they started dancing to the drums of war beaten yet again by another lunatic from London beat me. At least the bearded former lunatic had good education and background including a military career. This new London lunatic had no means of sustenance, pedigree, or substance.
I am anxiously waiting for the war to start in earnest. Those who kept quite thinking perhaps anything good will come out of it will realise too late what they've gotten themselves into.
When it finally starts, I will be part of that brigade that will push you out of my region as well. The whole nation is tired of you. Before Nnamdi Kanu no one hates the Ibo and the Igbo nation. We welcomed you with open arms to every village in Nigeria. No violence have been targetted against you by your hosts in other parts of Nigeria (except occasionally in the North). Now the Hateman came. We keep hearing insults and hate speeches. The Nigeria nation became a "zoo", the Yorùbá became "cowards" and "slaves", the Hausas "zombies" etc. No institution was spared. Nigeria cannot recover from this. The best way to go now is for the Igbo nation to declare their independence and let them secede as they are no longer welcomed anywhere in Nigeria.
You fail to realize that there is really no comparism between Ojukwu and Nnamdi Kanu. But that is not what i am here to talk about. Most Ibo just want to live and make money without causing troubles. The north is always so eager to shed blood like if it is a birth right! You seem eager as well to jump into the bandwagon of puppets for the AREWA to carryout their agenda. If you can only understand the power of peace and unity you wouldn't be so filled with hatred, and for your information hatred does not breed over-night, there has been so much hatred for the Ibos before Nnamdi Kanu, but now is the opportunity to manifest it.
I believe you know of the North and South Korea issues. I know some South Koreans and i have understood that whenever anyone survives to escape into South Korea, they are welcomed warmly and still considered as brothers and sisters, even though they came from the North. I don't think Nigeria has reached this stage yet, but the Northern parts of Nigeria that is so eager to shed blood do not realize that they most likely would suffer it the most at the end. Kanu is also a puppet which is why Ibos are divided on his approach. Those that fought the war do not want war again in Nigeria. But i tell you the truth, though i know a couple of wealthy Northern families in oil companies in Delta State, if you and the other AREWA puppets carryout this demonic bloodshed on the innocent people living with you in the guise of fighting Kanu, you would just realize that the South would come together to retaliate, not only the Ibos! I believe in one restructured and better performing Nigeria-not a stagnant Nigeria. Nigeria now is a big shame to most of us with foreigners and it is still the North that have ruled this nation because of Britain.
Let negotiations and peace-talks happen, so we do not end up like the Republic of Korea!Because its only true Love and Justice that Nigeria can sincerely grow.

I don't know why you still go round the circle instead of taking the bull by the horn. " Love your neighbor as yourself" you're talking about is one of the laws of God (Leviticus 19 vs 18) though the greatest of them all according to Christ.

My question is very simple, since the law has been rendered useless according to you, does it mean we should start breaking the laws?

According to Christ who is the author and finisher of my faith, the criteria for you to enter the kingdom of God is
1) Keep the commandments of God (Matthew 19 vs 16 - 19)
2) Follow Him (Christ) as your personal lord and savour. (Matthew 19 vs 21).

If you can't answer my question clearly them stop quoting me.

Sorry for quoting you.

All these things you stated above did not answer my question.
My question is simply put does new covenant means breaking Gods law?
You said that the law will be written in our hearts. Which law are you talking about, the one that has been rendered useless?
What does Christ mean is Matthew 5 17-19?
Why did Paul observe the law in Acts 21:18 -24
And why did Paul deny breaking the law in Acts 24:10-14.
Why I'm asking you about Paul is because the Roman you quoted was written by Paul.

Please answer in clear terms and stop answering what you can not explain like " the old convenant is actually a shadow- Jesus Christ is the substance of it"
I am not here to give you answers, rather i am to spur you to find out for yourself that is why i answered the way i did. I would still give you a lead not a direct answer. If you study the words of Jesus in John 13:34, you will understand what i tried saying in the earlier mail i wrote. The jewish laws were holy and good, but God knew they could not save anyone; and He desires a relationship not hypocrites. Study 1 John 2: 1 and any other you're led to read. The only thing you owe man and God is to abide in love, which is the only Law and commandment. Remember we are the gentiles that Paul in a way was anointed to preach to because God knew Paul could go against tradition. Paul already explained if you're anywhere, in order not to be disobedience and for those of weaker faith, engage in the activity, as long as it's not abominable: so him doing whatever he did was because of the society and for peace, not because he's in bondage to it. Recall that Jesus still went to the temple even though he knew the temple leaders were hypocrites. In the scripture you quoted in Acts 21:18-24, you had your answer in verse 25!!

God's law is love, not in the way of seeing a written law and trying to do with our hearts smeared with hypocrisy because we know when we fail in one we fail in all! It's our Father's pleasure that we come to him in love, confidence and humility.

You know, Eto i feel you know the answers to your questions-but it feels maybe awkward to your mind. If you need to do more interesting reading, i could help you with a book. Inbox me c_o_obi@hotmail.com

Op, since the old covenant is all about the laws of God are you implying we should start breaking those laws because according to you Christ has rendered the old covenant useless?
Does grace means we can now start breaking the laws of God?
Please explain in plain terms.
If you recall that the greatest of the commandment is love. So the old convenant is actually a shadow- Jesus Christ is the substance of it. That is why as there was the Passover lamb, which was annually done, Jesus Christ is the substance of the real Passover for all times. Grace and truth was selectively given in the Old testament but now it is for all mankind. If you truly recieve Christ Jesus into your heart, you are a believer and the laws has no hold on you. The believers live is one of love , not compulsion, that is why the prophecy was that the laws would be in our hearts. When you truly love someone, even when you misbehave, you feel hurt that this person loves you so much for you to disappoint him-its the devil trick to keep us feeling self-condemned. Always go to your Heavenly Father to receive forgiveness; and also fellowship/discuss/chat with Him! Most importantly, if you understand God's love for you, and the free gifts we have in Christ Jesus, you would not be willing to keep on doing/practising sins, especially repetitious one. We are all in the flesh, so we are growing in revelation/understanding in some areas to be victorious-but you are already saved and you are Christ's.
*Study Romans chapters 2 to chapt 6, to better understand how to answer your question.

Do not give an excuse to embrace hatred to any one tribe - be against hatred because its a 'contagious' attitude that is easily passed on, but it's end just leaves you bitter and angry with others without knowing your real enemy is the hatred in your heart you embraced long ago. Let love heal your heart from hatred, God is love and one cannot understand anything of/from God if one embraces hate.

Nigerians and there petty fight on which tribe is worse than the other!! You don't realize that in another country, there is only an entity, either a Nigerian or not. So any one calling out for names is just being 'pathetically naive' because, as Christ said that one 'does not know what he is doing'. Let there be more objectivity in reviewing issues pertaining to citizen, try to avoid immaturity/naivity in jumping into tribal issues- people like this, no matter their level of education, are akin to those who live in the stone-age, hating and killing other tribes because they think they wouldn't go extinct!! If you have received the love of God, then let it show in your objectivity-give hatred to voice in your heart and mind.

2 Peter 1:2-4
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Lol you should study more! vs 2 explicitly states that grace be multiplied (which means some people have grace even before they were born) through the knowledge of God and our Lord Jesus. The questions are who grants us this knowledge? And is this conditioned on our fulfilling something first? Or does God simply give understanding to those He has chosen? Vs 3 answers the question!

Colossians 1:9
For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives

It doesn't look like they were praying for anybody. Or does it? So who were they praying for? People who have become like them. Who they heard have been saved by grace. And they began praying that they be filled (with what they have) with the knowledge of God's will. It didn't look like they were trusting on men to do they filling!

Very good point you highlighted. If you study book of John 1: 11-17, you will see that receiving Christ Jesus is receiving grace &truth because they came by him. Already if you have received Christ Jesus, the spirit is imparted to help you know what you have in Christ.
Yes, it was a prayer in Col. 1:9, because though they have received their salvation in Christ, so Paul made that prayer because being saved is a gift we receive, then opening our heart &mind to the word of God,through the lens of grace, 2Cor. 3:7-18, helps us work in the light of the gift of salvation we have received. That why Romans 12:2 encouraged the renewing of the mind because the gift we have received through Christ Jesus is truly amazing and the normal unrenewed human mind cannot understand things like you are "sitted in Christ in heavenly places:...etc,so the filling is done by God's spirit but we need to receive the knowledge first, so the filling/understanding/revelation of what you receive can be translated into a grace received in that aspect you're seeking of-basically that's how 'grace is multiplied'!
Please don't mind the grammatical errors in my writing!

Hi Yusuf,
It seems most of the verses you have here are all connected to the death of Christ. The scriptures you gave are all self-explanatory. Every account from either Matthew, John, Mark or Luke gathered different experiences/observations on His death. So i do not really know what you mean by comparison, except you have a definite question on a particular section.
Firstly, the fact that Jesus died once was a miracle in itself (Luke 23:46&47.....John 10:18) because crucifixion was a very painful way to die in the sense that a person doesn't die immediately-that's why the other prisoners legs had to be broken so they die fast (John 19:31-35). As for the event in Matthew 27: 52&53, It all happened after he resurrected. I have reviewed this information in this link and considered it appropriate to explain this better for you http://www.desiringgod.org/articles/he-descended-into-hell

With respect to your earlier point on isaiah prophesy, Jesus second coming would not be as the "lamb to the slaughter"-Is. 53:7, Rev. 5:8; but it would be in His Majesty that everyone would seen Joel 2:30 and also the scriptures in Malachi you mentioned. I may not want to repeat myself much about my answers about Immanuel and Isaiah prophesy on that. And Jesus all throughout the book of John, Matth., Luke &Mark, Jesus always reminded his disciples of his death so they wouldn't be surprised that's why Peter was tempted to condemn him and Jesus replied him in Matthew 16: 22-24. He was meant to bring spiritual children to God as stated in John 8 during the conversation to the Samaritan woman. This was why most of his disciples were confused initially because they thought he came to destroy Israel enemies as written, but they didn't know God's heart is for his spiritual children as well- i did explain some points earlier on natural first, then spiritual.

...Only Two Persons prophecied correctly about Jesus,In Deuteronomy 18 vs 15-18,Moses said to the Israelites that the LORD your God would raise up a PROPHET LIKE ME for u,These Scriptures means that Jesus and Moses Must have things in common,They were both Priests,They were both Prophets of God,they were both servants of God,they were both a descendant of Amram and Jacob, they were both sent to the Israelites and they were both Messengers of God,This automatically disqualify Jesus from being the WORDS OF GOD AND THE SON OF GOD becos if Jesus had been the words of God and Son of God,these would have made him to be DIFFERENT FROM MOSES,The Second person that prophecied correctly about Jesus was Malachi in Malachi 3 vs 1,where he prophecied and Predicted the coming of Jesus and John as Messengers of God,,U would see that Moses and Malachi Prophecied the coming of Jesus as a Prophet and Messenger of God and not as son of God,,,..The Prophecy about Jesus can only be found in Old testament becos it was written before the existence of Jesus on earth,,,Isaiah never prophecied about Jesus and i will back my point with these scriptures in the Bible,NOTE, christ means Messiah,, Isaiah 2 vs 4,He says the Messiah must usher in an era of World peace,Isaiah 43 vs 5-6,Says the Messiah must gather all jews back to the land of Israel,Isaiah 53 vs 7,says the Messiah wouldn't alter any word while he was being tormented or Oppresed But according to the Gospel of John19 vs 28-30,Jesus altered some words while he was been tormented and oppresed. My Question now is that Did Jesus fulfill the Prophecy of Isaiah? I know u would want to say Jesus will fulfill Isaiah prophecy in his second coming BUT Jesus said in John 17 vs 4,That He have finished the work GOD gv him to do on earth, this scripture automatically rule out the second coming of Jesus..U also said that Jesus died for Humanity,Jesus never tot of dieing for humanity,The Gospel of John 18-14,AFTER JESUS HAD BEEN ARRESTED,HE WAS FIRST TAKEN TO ANNAS before he was taken to CAIAPHAS WHO ADVISED THE JEWS THAT ONE MAN/JESUS SHOULD DIE FOR THE PEOPLE/HUMANITY

Yusuf, i appreciate your explanations here but if you actually read through all the biblical references you would answer some of your points here. You are trying to indicate the messiah, Christ, is not Jesus and he didn't die for man. Your quotation from Isaiah is accurate, as well as John 19:28-30 fulfills Psalms 69:21b and i do not embrace the fact that i am right and you are wrong or vice versa-its not what i desire. Review the biblical references i gave in my initial replies carefully, if you still feel the same way on your points then we go from there, but not to engage in unnecessarily long argumentative discussion- it would be fruitless embarassed!

...I love ur response and ur words shows that u r a Knowledgeable Christian, Pls is Jesus God or Servant of God or Son of God or Son of Man or Prophet of God? Pls use Bible scriptures to back ur answer

Hebrews 1:3, 2 Corinthians 4: 4 and John 1: 1 - 17 reveals that he is the word of God which is God that had to become flesh according to prophesy in Isaiah 7:14, also stated in Matthew 1:23. From John 10: 34-39, Jesus had to remind the jews of God's original idea of men, He spoke of Psalms 82:6, to properly reinforce who He is; one that proceeds from the Father! He's the Son of Man because He was completely man&divine which is why he could die in the first place (Matthew 17:9). This is why through 1 John 4:17 explains how we, those in earthly vessels that receive him, are like him as he is glorified forever in heaven (Ephesians. 1: 3 and Psalms 103: 1- 5).
So being a prophet and servant are just some attributes of his works, but his primary functions are 1 John 3: 8, 1 Thess. 5: 9 and Ephesians 1:13. An illustration to explain this is like a Doctor should be able to give injections but its not his primary duty that's why nurses/*prophets handle injections and other tasks which a doctor can still easily do.
In conclusion, being a servant and prophet is an attribute of his work, being a Son of God and Son of Man is for us, those that receive him, because He has actually made us sons and daughters of God since He partook of our humanity, thereby lifting us up to live in Him &like him. And being God is what made it possible in the first place to die for humanity. My conclusion may not be too logical but it's in my level of my understanding in Christ that i write this.
