This guy is terrible!! I see no good in him, hold on to him and regret your entire life. This has nothing to do with being broke, he is obnoxious. Taking away money that was sprayed on you? Marry this guy and go nuts.

Okay I'll try those place too.
At least any taxi driver will know those places.
I don't want to make the ofeakwu here because I can't find Fresh scent leaf. It won't taste the same without that.

I can't believe you hate Ukwa and oha soup? Who does that? cheesy
Somehow oha leaves manage to stick to my throat and refuse to go down until I wash it down with water. Ukwa....just like infant's poo and tastes like it lipsrsealed. It depends on the area the Taxi run, a Taxi from orji certainly won't know some spots in PH road but nah to come back first be the thing. Try it with mint leaves, My lipsrsealed did that and it tasted like the devil's stew grin.

But I'm not Leaving until I eat
*Fresh uha soup (number one on my list)
*Ofeakwu with dry fish, thick Pomo and akwara anu with fresh scent leaf.
*Ofe owerre. I miss fresh ugu so much. Not this frozen one they sell to us here. Not quite the same.
*Ukwa. Oh my mom will surely bring that one when she comes for omugwo. At least they'll let her carry it. I hope.
*I've been eating buka stew in my dreams. I'll go to 'nda leti' place and satisfy that craving. grin
*And finally Chanel O shawarma. I can't leave O'town without a taste of that.
I was hung on channel O till I discovered sharwama Republic, you don try ukwu Mango rice?? Their stew dey full with world class kpomo, thick and "munchous'. You can cook ofe akwu with those their bottled content, I doubt if that is 100% from palm fruits. I hate Ukwa and oha soup angry.

interesting topic and mature contributions smiley
I am presently a SAHM ! ok 70 percent of the time
its hard and its going to continue this way for the next couple of years
it is my personal decision and am glad I made it.
it's true women go through shit!
but its not all bad for everybody
since my being SAHM, I have never have to ask my hubby for a dime because he knows what
we utililise and i get that plus extra for miscellenous spending
he trust me more than himself with finances because am usually practical and thorough.

Nairaland make SAHM sound like a wife goes cap in hand asking
for money from her man sad
that has never been the case for me at least!
and I am aware of bad cases.
My 2 kobo sha to any woman planing to SAHM
have a solid finanacial back up plan incase anything goes wrong.
Meanwhile byvan03 you got me rolling on the floor with laughter.

personally I have businesses that run successfully without me being there physically,
Lol,'' cap in hand ", some SAHM have an already secured future and lots of cash to go with it .It is not by who works the most jare.

If I hear the mention of 250 k for a month to stay home and be a house wife for my own kids,I will take the offer walahi. There is so much I can do with that 3milla per annum from my house. If being a house wife gets me paid, why not? the essence of my working is to earn money . How many jobs pay up to that in Nigeria?

I can't be a house wife for nothing, I do what pays. Let me get this offer and see why I won't tender resignation via text message instantly grin. Career with empty portfolio doesn't trip me , the sound of gallant credit alert on my phone does and if I can get that babysitting, why not huh

These women can deceive themselves, A young Nigerian man approached you, a white woman with two kids and probably older, he proposed and you accepted? How you think that he married you for love beats me, they should learn to marry the ones that are established there not hustlers that are looking for where to latch onto.

It's a dire situation, watched a program on DisD, the man exhibited these symptoms before he murdered his entire family, kids included.

You are thinking of constantly cheating because he called you a whor*e? That statement alone shows that he isn't far from the truth. Change your thinking, it's a very disgraceful thing for a married person to mess around. You won't be bothered about being called a wh*ore if you aren't one.

Please make peace in your home and don't disgrace yourself further. It might be online but be guided, imagine the trash you said about the man you loved enough to marry angry.

Family › Re: MY Wife Left Me For Her Politician Exboyfried. by byvan03: 7:40am On Jan 08, 2016
15 years of marriage about to end over a phone call? She lied to you, obviously hoarded some information and your solution is sending her parking than finding out what went wrong? How did you make it for 15years if you act so impulsively? Some are telling you to change the kids school but trust me, it always turns out a losing game. These kids are grown enough, way past what you can keep away from their mum.

Now to the matter, you might need some time to process what happened. You have not established any infidelity yet , why throw her out already? Log off Nairaland and act like a man that has spent 15years in marriage, sit your wife down and understand what went wrong. You mustn't forgive her if she cheated ,but you have to establish that first.

Happy new year to you and family dear, you need to see how people map out strategies for marital war 101 even before they are actually married .
Family › Re: The Rate Of Divorce..... by byvan03: 8:45pm On Jan 05, 2016
We are in a world where people now enter into marriage with Plan A,B, and C in place. What do you expect when they have already seen the end of their marital lives from the beginning? Only few people marry these days just because they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
Family › Re: Which Of These Relationships Is The Greatest Of All? by byvan03: 1:43pm On Jan 05, 2016
It's hard to choose between spouse and kids, you loved spouse before kids came around and you loved kids because they came from you. Hmmmm....which to choose depends on circumstance abeg, I can't trade one for the other on a level ground.

Well said, Infidelity would be greatly reduced if we can keep our emotions and thoughts in right place. I see every act of infidelity as foolishness and ignorance. It's just like seeing fire and deliberately putting hand in it. Every Spouse should deliberately and consistently act in ways that would discourage infidelity too.
Well said bjcole smiley.
Family › Re: What Can Make A Happily Married Woman Sleep With Another Man? by byvan03: 12:46pm On Jan 05, 2016
bjcole:
I don't completely agree with you, Some women cheat because they want and can but majority don't, infidelity is even more prevalent in men, Some married men even drag some married women into the act. Women still think more with their head more than men in case of infidelities.
I don't know the exact cheating figures from both gender, all I know is that it is a deliberate action whether committed by a man or woman. No one can drag anyone into infidelity if they don't want to cheat too. I think women seem to think more with their heads because the society is unforgiving when they are caught, otherwise the ability to think is 50-50.
