- Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello publicly declared he will deliver Kogi for Tinubu

- Niger Governor is canvassing for Tinubu

- Kano Governor has turned to superman because of Tinubu

But the main point is that outside of Tinubu's Southwest region, outside Lagos state where Tinubu was Governor in 1999 - 2007, the list of prominent people that control various major party structures across their states, and the grassroots politicians in favor of Tinubu outside is so HUGE!

How can someone that has left Governor seat since over about 15 years ago command such love and relevance? Tinubu endears so much people outside of his zone, people from other tribes, people from different cultures, people from other parties, the people that matter in politics, the big fishes in the pond. It means Tinubu must be a man of solid character, a man that is useful, a man that is not tribalistic, a loyal man, a man of excellent principles to be able to maintain that kind of high level association and friendships over the long years.



But we just cannot say the same thing about Peter Obi. He was also a 2 term Governor of Anambra but since he left governor seat Obi has been so politically irrelevant. Despite jumping from one party to another, he still doesn't have any significant political network or networth among the people that matter in the political sphere outside of his Southeast zone, even in Anambra.

No single person that matter in politics outside of the Southeast, people that control major political structures in their states, or local politicians that command a huge grassroots following outside of the Southeast has canvassed or is canvassing for Obi. Peter Obi is practically like a political orphan, he is on his own. It really looks like nobody among the somebody's likes him. Actually, that's the fact of the matter.

Something must definitely be wrong with his outlook. Is Peter Obi so tribalistic to the point that nobody outside the Southeast likes him? Even in Anambra, no major political heavyweights are behind him. That already shows you Peter Obi will make a terrible president, he has no bridges, no solid political association or affiliation with others, he will be a one man show. But a tree cannot make a forest.

Sad thing is, even igbo terrorists like Autopilot IPOB are against him. Only UGM and ESN IPOBs are supporting him. But these are the undeniable truths his uncouth wild unruly violent zombie supporters don't want other people to talk about. What a shame for their dull brains. Who are the people supporting Obi outside the Southeast? People like Deji Adeyanju and other Twitter riffraffs who are the nobodies of Nigerian politics

Even your comment describes a point in his political journey that Tinubu was a regional politician. He won on the platform of AD, a party of the SW, that also died in the SW. They joined the PDP which was the only national party then, having consigned ANPP to the dustbin of history.

Were you less than ten years old when Tinubu approached PMB, seeking for his assistance to move the Yorubas under ACN to the center, along with other political interests to form APC? Who has called him a tribalist?

If you who are outside the southeast do not like Obi because of his tribe, can you not see that you are blinded by tribalism to the fact that he's contesting on the platform of LP. That's a platform that represents the labour force across the nation.

It should go

1.It is chopping all the excess dollars we should be getting from the rise in oyel prices, on top of the debt we have to pay off due to 8 years of low oil prices from 2014.

2.It is stifling investment in the petroleum sector. If it costs over N300-400 to refine one liter of fuel, and one has to sell it at N165 per liter, why invest in a refinery.? The hardy few that are investing in refineries are taking a big risk.

3.We are essentially subsidising fuel not only for Nigeria, but for other African countries.If petrol costs N165 here, and N300 and above in all our neighbours, why won't people smuggle.?


Yeah, inflation. But the truth is, we don't have the money. Yes, politicans, but what we are spending on subsidisng petrol this year is more than what any pol can loot this year. And yes, Buhari, APC , PDP etc are bad leaders, and yes, I don't like them as much as you do.

Nigeria has spent 413 trillion naira on fuel subsides between 2006-19.That's money that could have been used for education, health, transport, etc etc. And the more the oil price rises, the more the cost of producing fuel rises, and thus the cost of subsidsing it.

Please ask yourself whether it is subsidy that troubles the economy more or the massive looting going on everyday. They loot the economy, purchase the oil well and petroleum products, using the looted funds. The same people talk about subsidy removal after their stealing. Do you not see that they are getting richer by all methods?

This president promised to tackle corruption using every weapon available and everyone supported him. One day he said corruption was fighting back. The same president said that APC won Osun state by remote control. Today corruption has become worse under his watch.

“Subsidy is a scam” was one of their campaign points. If GEJ removed it, we would have been out of the woods by now. Today APC has changed the song.

The major challenge is corruption. Deal with corrupt politicians and the country will get better. Jerry Rawlings did it in Ghana and today Ghanaians enjoy their country.

This government too has failed after their promise to do so. In the raining season, communities around the river area both in the south and north of the country need to evacuate because of massive flooding.

We have a major problem in this country created by the military and politicians, where some areas are deliberately ignored. Today the youths who should be out there battling the elderly to take over from them only do so on the social media. You boast that you can go in trains and use BRT buses. How economically better have you become since 2015? In 7 years and 10 months more Nigerians have become poorer because of the bad economic policies of this government.
