Yeye spokesman. He should be removed by PDP. He simply promoted APC in the state. Anyway, we all see the light now in Peter Obi. I have joined the train. Have you? Please get your PVC. Get ready for door to door campaigning. We are on the move. |
Eniitankorede:At least without speaking proper English, he was very successful at your age. Without speaking proper English, he was a state governor. With your proper English, who are you and where are your landmarks? |
OP how does this story sound to you? Some of you our young fellows on this forum just do not tend to give some proper thoughts before agreeing and disseminating wrong information. You just copied and pasted without properly analyzing what you posted In the irresponsible write up, it was stated that the governor was asked by the commissioner of police to write a statement. Where in our laws have you heard that a sitting governor was ordered by either a CP or IG to write a statement of defence the police before being allowed to go, by their rights? Where have you heard that the convoy of a sitting governor was stopped just like that on the basis of such information? Do you think that with 250 million in the trunks of cars, any of the occupants would expose themselves to danger, potentially armed robbers? Make una get small sense na. Even OBJ testified to the integrity of Peter Obi, above other candidates. With all the years of suffering and hardship under nepotism and economy stagnation, added to the reckless looting, why have you failed to point at those who have raped you economically? Why do you still follow, with the power of bewitchment, those who make it their occupation to impoverish you. Choose wisely next time. |
9jatriot:Now I wonder why that loophole was not plugged. Hopefully the court will sort it out if APC insists on Akpabio's name. |
OP, how many registered voters were recorded in the last Ekiti, last weekend? Of those people how many voted? Of the over 60 million adult Nigerians by the 2015 election, how many voted? If you are able to make sensible analysis, you should know that most Nigerians do not vote. Some like you who do not have PVCs only vote online and make racial remarks. Can you say the Southwest voters are only comprise of the Yorubas? By the way, how many Yorubas even vote during elections? Those of other states and tribes who registered in the Southwest cast their votes here. That adds to the huge votes recorded in Lagos. This your story no make sense. |
ogwumgbe:Exactly who you are, a wicked demon, since you were born in hell and you perpetually will languish there. Nobody wants to hear your opinion anymore, as you are completely incapable of proper reasoning and decent discussions. No good English and no morals. All you learnt were the words “Bleep off”. Those words show you as a social misfit and part of those addressed as the rungs of the earth. You can take your stupid opinion and shove it up your gutter arse. MUMU. |
Fantastic to see. Family is wonderful. Set aside politics and struggles, get important days and moments with family. Some are busy killing themselves, their children and other people’s children. El Rufai like many other politicians are busy enjoying the children and grandchildren. Youths when they use you to kill, snatch ballots boxes and perpetuate themselves in power, they eventually get their children also to lord it over you. Make una get small sense. |
ogmask:“ especially starting with the 2m given to him by Delta state government should enable him personally get a new truck”. Read clearly o and understand. I said “starting with the 2M”. By inference I said the 2M including other amounts donated to him already and others to come. |
ogwumgbe:Does your miserable life not show you that you have already permanent residence in hell? Thankfully you are running away with your tails in between your legs like a dog, while decent people discuss this topic with decorum. MUMU. Without seeing your nose, I am certain that it resembles that of a pig. |
BloomingDale:We must all know that safety is of prime importance in developed nations. Aside from using trucks as a method of transportation for petrol, pipes and trains laden with tankers are other methods. Drivers are well trained. Trucks, trains and pipes are in very good working conditions. Without insurance you cannot operate. There are risk factors for truck drivers too. Some of them are weather conditions, poor driving by other road users, poor road conditions, etc. These risk factors are well taken care of in the developed countries and that’s why such incidences are rare. Above all fire fighting equipment are ever ready to go, in case of such eventualities. |
OpinionCounts:Exactly what we want to hear. Our discussion has centered on the morality or not of the man’s request to be provided with a truck, instead of a national award. Does he have the right to dictate to government or choose what kind of reward government should offer him? |
ogwumgbe:Common sense is very far from lazy and poor thinking rats like you. I should not ordinarily bother to dignify an owl look alike nuisance like you with a response. People like you use the tiny opportunities that come your way on social media sites to pollute decent comments of other well behaved people and end up making mockery of your unlearned selves. If not for your foolishness and inability to read and understand, you would have noticed that no one wrongly accused the man. What we questioned was exactly what people with clear minds would ask. Where did the jealousy originate from? Was there anyone who disagreed with the man’s desire to own a new truck. Simply put, you are a complete MUMU. I presume that you are criminally minded and that offers the reason for your jittery response. “go and born in hell”. Just imagine that for English. I am sure that you were born in hell, as you could not even write proper English. |
BloomingDale:Truthfully he saved lives and property. Truthfully he risked his life. But the question now is about the mechanical/physical condition of the truck before the explosion. The question now is about the safety measures, if any, before the explosion. There must not be an entitlement spirit in it. It should only be a humble request. The honours will pour in and money will get to him too. Very soon he will also receive the OON title from the FG. I believe that even if he does not get a new truck, the financial compensation given to him, especially starting with the 2m given to him by Delta state government should enable him personally get a new truck. |
LILTJAY:I know your head must be like that of an owl. |

No problem. At least Biden can ride bicycles. We have some babas here who would not dare roll tyres with sticks with bare hands, how much more to do some form of exercise. Yet they are not Biden age yet, according to the official ages that they declared. One even claimed that he is not a boxer and he only needs his brain to rule Nigeria. |
Na Dino Melaye be that for ground or him family person? |
Just see that! |
That's what we want to hear. That's wat we want to see. Irrespective of party affiliation, those caught mortgaging the future of other people by their greedy and irresponsible acts must be treated according to the law. |
That’s talking about public schools and not privately owned schools please. Muric should stop distorting facts. |
“ He said five among the delegates from Koton Karfe local government area returned the money he gave out for “transport, accommodation and feeding” expenses after they voted against him…”. The question now is how much was the amount? How much did the winner dole out? We are in deep trouble with this delegate matter. A few people are offered money to pick candidates in the party and presented to the population. Now those with the biggest pockets are foisted on us. The system is such that decent people are not able to make inroads. For me publicizing the returned funds further drives home the fact of corruption in the electoral system. It further proves the complete failure of this government to tackle corruption frontally as promised by the president before and after 2015. |
Thoh:You could not even provide an answer to that simple question that I asked you. What a big shame. I remember that earlier I told you to keep your youthful ignorance away from public space. Please stop disgracing yourself and the too many decent and learned Ijaw people out there. |
shortIGBOman:And you do not realise that wheelbarrows are modes of transportation. You do not know that wheel barrows yield between 5,000 and 10,000 naira daily. If you call people who earn such amounts daily, then you sincerely have a problem. |
Thoh:Mention the "six Niger Delta areas" where the Ijaws have control, as you call it. |
Ijoh:“Landlocked”? Yet in 5 states of their own, with major local governments in other states. Ijaws are not landlocked, yet they only have one state to themselves. Should we talk about how underdeveloped that single state is here? It is always you with your warped idea about the Igbos. Those of you who are not landlocked, kindly tell us how developed your areas are. Do you understand what it means to be landlocked? Please keep your youthful ignorance away from public space. |
PrinceMajestic:APC rescue who from where? At the national level, has APC rescued themselves, how much more the entire nation? Have they rescued other states where they hold the governorship positions? Irrespective of that, please count APC out of the governship position in Delta state. APC has no stand in Delta state. Omo Agege will struggle for his senatorial zone. Nwaoboshi who decamped to APC, thinking that Okowa would vie for his senatorial seat made a huge error. Now Ned Nwoko will take over that seat next year, returning the position to PDP. All APC members in Delta state, without doubt, tell you that Delta state is a PDP state. |
alsudan:Irrespective of that, please count APC out of the governship position in Delta state. APC has no stand in Delta state. Nwaoboshi who decamped to APC, thinking that Okowa would vie for his senatorial seat made a huge error. Now Ned Nwoko will take over that seat next year, returning the position to PDP. |
To achieve it, Mbaka himself has to be banned. He is free to start his own church just like others do daily. Aside from that, many would never know that they are prohibited from attending his church. |
We dey here. |
naija4life247:Go school una no go gree. See how your life has become at this young age? |
Reference:The problem majorly lies with the political class. Notice how they have systematically and completely infused tribalism and religious bias into the country. Now rather than the substance, Nigerians chase the shadow. APC plays Nigeria like ping pong, making the people look at Nigeria as revolving only between the North and Southwest. One of their cardinal campaign points in 2015 was restructuring. Did you notice how they used every method in the book to discard it. If you talk about it, they make you look like a fool. Again corruption has played a major role in all these. As long as they know that they can siphon gold freely away from Zamfara state, oil from the Niger delta and Lake Chad without proper accountability, the rape on our common patrimony will keep blinding them from the issue of restructuring. Anyone of the politicians who laments about his/her position surely would have been removed from the honeypot. The citizens too contribute massively to help the politicians. How they ever allow themselves to be bamboozled and given pittances to secure votes, makes a mockery of Nigerian citizens. It is very easy for them to believe those who ruin their lives daily. They easily believe politicians who impoverish them daily. I am of the firm assurance that there would be only two ways out of this mess in the future. One would be a revolution led by sincere military officers or secondly a separation of the country, allowing the various disagreeing zones form their own countries. |
meetgaya:“ Going through the primaries, you will realise that the 109 senators and the 360 house of reps members never actually read through the new electoral amendment act”. How would the entire 109 senators and 360 house of reps members not have read through the act that they passed. That’s certainly an over exaggeration. Someone sponsored it. For you to sponsor, you must plan, read, understand and must be able to defend it. What I believe is our law makers make laws and deliberately bypass the laws by themselves. We have good laws in the country, but they are thrown into the dustbin by the very people who should defend them. However next year would be very interesting with the new act. Many cases would be more easily determined by the courts, especially that of Ahmed Lawan. |
