Without doubt, Obi brought about massive improvements in the economy of his state when he was the governor. Politicians of other parties tried to bring his record to disrepute.

Do not forget that the present government told us about an agreement with Siemens of Germany to improve the power sector. We may wish to ask what happened to it.

I made a comment earlier of the need for a leader with the will politically. Obi is that leader.

The single reason this country has faced economic difficulties is corruption. The moment we have a leader who can tackle corruption without fear or favour, then we are on the right step, in the right direction. Other issues bedeviling the country like power, healthcare, roads, etc can be easily fixed. A corrupt leader will ensure that only corrupt persons like him hold positions of power.

Look, we need a leader with that strong will to take decisions. We need that leader who is very firm with his convictions. We need that leader who will not look at tribe or religion.

The late Mr. Li Kwan Yu, was known as the father of Singapore had that political will to take the decisions that made Singapore the quality of nation that it is today. It took years to achieve, but they achieved it. Look at the United Arab Emirates today. They set off in 1985 and today their airline has one of the largest fleet in the world. It is the center of commerce where those who cannot locate industries in Europe and Asia can easily get their products.

Our politicians are greedy, selfish and crude. All they seem to understand is the language of looting. They are actually in it. That’s why they believe so much in permanent interests. That’s why they are able to easily decamp when things do not seem to go their way.

We need a leader who understands how economies work. We need leaders who understand how nations works. We need leaders who know how to develop and make nations great. We need young and capable leaders. We do no need treasury leaders, those who are not about to account for how they acquired their great wealth.

A vote for Peter Obi is a vote in the right direction.

Very well said. UPTH is a federal government owned hospital. We have a minister who is a medical doctor, but appears overwhelmed with labour matter. We have a health ministry and certainly a supervising ministry over the teaching hospitals, yet they are overwhelmed.

Let’s join hands to get Peter Obi there. That’s the only hope Nigeria has.

This time the office of the President is up for grabs. In 2015, we withnessed about 26 million voters of the entire voting population for the presidency. How many will leave the comfort of their votes to vote, considering the security challenges?
