miracood:Hahahahahahaha hahahahahahaha. You are a maddd mannn!!! How e be say na Akpororo you remember? |
MOLOTOVcockTAIL:Hahahahahahaha Which parllee? The one wey no dey again? In fact now I kuku know say your head. That your beards wey be like Oliver Dr Coque own, na old razor I go take remove am for you. |
MOLOTOVcockTAIL:So it has gone so bad that you did not notice that your so called in-law could not properly spell the name of his wife to be. Did you not see Nwakaego spelt as Nwakawgo. See your head like upper Iweka bridge. |
NwaNimo1:UNFORTUNATELY YOU ARE A BIG AND VERY WELL ORGANISED FOOL. |
Abey na woman stand for her side so ABI na man wet wear woman cloth? The biceps no be here! |
F117nighthawk:Let's take a look at Lagos. The state government purchased buses with public funds and enterred into partnerships with their friends and family members. The buses have maintenance issues and are left to rot away. In the recent months the state government increased the rates on their routes and the danfos copied from them. The governor justified it. The 40 naira fuel promised Nigerians was one of their numerous lies to get power. In fact at a time the president said that he underated the level of decay in the economy before he became the president. Some of us wondered how he, as close as he was to the sit of power, could say that. The last five years in this country have been hellish. First the president was there in 2015 for close to six months without a cabinet. His body language, as it was called, set the country back. His appointments were very disappointing, as there were round pegs in square holes. One man only was given three ministerial portfolios. The man boasted that light was not rocket science and he failed totally when he got the office. He failed with roads and he failed with housing. Now all we hear are those jagbajantis big grammar from him. The clueless minister wants to tell us that cost of transport took the cost of rice from 8,000 before border closure to the present rate of 35,000? Cost of transportation sent farmers away from their farms? Cost of transport ate the crops planted by farmers instead of cows by Fulani herdsmen? Anybody who says that APC rulership is better than the PDP rulership of 16 years truly is bewitched. Truly those who keep voting APC have chosen to embrace hardship, poverty and suffering. |
SocialJustice:Why have you all allowed this APC bewitchment cause you to act hypocritically and so blindly? Why are you watching yourself being led to destruction. "Better to buy it expensive and it is easily available". Are you comparing your earning capacity with that of the bigger nations? With your minimum wage, which is not even fully paid, how many of you can now confidently buy one quarter bags of rice? How many of those countries have such economic policies that reduce more of its citizens to poverty daily? Na wah for una sef! |
Ayed44:Are you talking about the same police that you all happily burnt their stations and chased them away from the streets? The same police that you looted their guns? Just as you all cannot tackle robbers with bare hands, do you expect them to fight with bare hands? Those who live in glass houses must not throw stones. Nigeria is the glass house in this case. Much as we all objected to the excesses of the disbanded Fsars unit, most people agitated consciously and unconsciously for the disbandment of the police. Prisons were broken open and very dangerous criminal elements escaped. The result is the lawlessness in the land that we witness now. NURTW members have worsened it with their complete disregard to other road users. Now Nigerians are BEGGING for police to return to the streets. We need more caution in the future. |
Heavensent01:Hahahahahahaha English teacher! You do not even know where and how to use capital letters and full stops. Now does that not show you that even your English is very poor? Who knows how many times you wrote your English SSCE exams and failed? Certainly you are one of those whose parents offered bribes to teachers and examiners to enable them go through to the next classes "A lot of imbeciles on Nairaland lately". I agree absolutely with you, because that's exactly what you are. "A total disappointment to commonsense". That's exactly the stage where you are in your meaningless and irresponsible life! |
Embezzlement in action. The lion is doing compulsory dry fasting (no food no water) courtesy of the zoo keepers, while they use the funds released for the maintenance of the lion to maintain their homes! Remember that even the funds and materials meant for IDPs are constantly embezzled by the people in charge. |
FarahAideed:I think some of you need to look at the entire process dispationately. "Counting is going on as we speak". Biden is scoring more than Trump as they continue counting! Will Trump defeat Biden? NO! Concede to CNN projection keh? He was removed by his fellow American citizens who got tired of him. He scored 71 million votes and Biden scored close to 74 million. If it was the other way round, it still would have showed how many Americans wanted him out of the place. What can change now? 1. Not much as the election was very free and fair. 2. Even if the ballots are all recounted, there will be no significant difference to change the decision 3. If you discount the mail-in ballots, you infringe on the rights of those who voted that way. We should not allow the Nigerian election cheating mentality continuously imprison some of us. You heard that the American electoral system is fool proof. Before voting commenced Trump was already complaining of fraud. Trump uses this as his tactics, crying wolf all the time. He was over confident, easily dismissing his opponent, calling Biden names, rather than face the realities on ground. In the end he was defeated. I am a Trump supporter, but the truth must always be told. In this case he was defeated. America is not Nigeria where the politicians can easily influence the judges and get their results. Americans have said their electoral system is flawless and confusing a few Americans who want to be bamboozled will not do the American democratic image any good. |
ThatFairGuy:Foolishly enough for them they have not even bothered to ask if the so called "legal votes" were not rigged by Trump supporters. If their system permitted mail -in votes and Trump asked his supporters to only physically cast their votes, who should he blame? Biden got his supporters to use both processes. The US is not Nigeria where voters are induced with money and other things. It is not the place where thugs hijack ballot boxes. It is not the place where security agents are used to trouble elections. Trump brought his own people into the supreme court just because he wanted to stay in power. Millions of Americans were tired and wanted to get rid of him. Even if he wins by a small margin clearly we can see that his popularity diminished. Americans have told us that their elections are tamper proof. The republicans crying out now have borrowed a leaf from African elections, more especially Nigeria, where losers never give up and winners will never have their peace until they get the supreme court decision. Trump started crying blue murder when they started counting the votes in 2016 against Clinton. He alleged that the election had been rigged until he got the result. Now he has met more than his match. It's either he leaves peacefully or the system will get him arrested after 12 noon January 20, 2021. Those who support him should think logically before they speak. |
RealLordZeus:Nothing absolutely is wrong with her. If you read her words carefully you'll find sacarsm in it. She did not encourage them to go to the supreme court in any way. She knows that cannot get out of it. She's also in pain that they are Nigerians but truthfully agreed that they evil men should remain where they are. |
Heavensent01:So you sound "smart" and reasonable with your negative comment about successful people who are living their lives happily? Still we are waiting to see the image of your so called georgeous wife. |
360degreess:Does the quran specifically mention the name Christian? |
Why won't they work to get down the price of rice and other foodstuffs? Do people eat cement as food? |
Biggie225:So to you China is not a world power? Na waoh! |
So how could those counting have known? After all their job was to count the ballot. When Trump contested against Mrs. Clinton he complained about rigging while the counting was going on. Mrs. Clinton congratulated him after her loss and he kept his mouth firmly shut thereafter. Since he has lost this time, he should leave and stop damaging the credibility of the US election system. |
Heavensent01:"my pretty georgeous wife". Let us see your wedding picture as proof. "the traditional oath done on Regina Daniels". Do it on your own wife to avoid "she would have been fucking around". Dangote is not married out of his choice. "Money doesn't keep a lady". For some you can not touch them with the longest pole of earth if you do not have money. "utter rubbish". It's their life and not yours. |
DonFreshmoney:You want to know pass yourself. Anyway first na furniture allowance + other allowances @2 - 3 M. Next monthly salary of between 80k and 100k depending on strength. Finally the prestige attached the position. |
quentin06:Olodo. And to you who heard of Anini who we heard of in 1985/1986, you were not told who Oyenusi was and the period he operated? Truly your head must be like Trump's head. |
quentin06:Hahahahahahaha. "enrich your brains". So you are not educated enough to know that you only have one brain. How then can you discuss historical facts? Do you see why you are a pure breed OLODO? Since money was wasted sending you to school, please ask your grandpa and grandma when Bendel became a state. They should be better informed. Maybe that can give you an insight into the issue discussed here. Next ask them who Oyenusi and his gang were and where they originated. |
CodeTemplar:Eyahh! And you wasted your time, your vote, your emotion. You should have believed GEJ. Take heart for PMB matter bro. |
quentin06:Olodo! When did Bendel become a state? Where did Oyenusi originate from? Your head like Trump head there! |
Sadly while robbers carry out their evil act, the greedy people among them get busy raiding warehouses and vehicles carrying goods. Obaseki has to copy from Adamawa governor. Force the thieves to return the looted items or either revoke C of Os/demolish their properties. |
lymelyte:So do you think that the so called mob overpowered the police and soldiers just like that? Do you not know that the IG gave the order to all police personnel to not use their firearms? Specifically they were ordered to take off the magazines judging by the mood of the nation then. Why did the protest vanish in Lekki when the army attacked them? Do you think that those who looted could have proceeded in the face of army/police gunshots? Look endsars protesters should take other methods to safeguard the lives of people. The principal reason for this move by the police is to stop the looting by rogues, destruction of property and killing of people. Did you see not the video of the cannibals who killed a policeman, roasted the body and ate it in the name of endsars? A DPO was chased into a gutter and right there stoned to death. Was that the aim of endsars? If you are carrying a gun, will you allow yourself to be killed without fighting back, when confronted by killers? If you do not like this then how best should it be done? Or did you participate in the looting? |
Racoon:Bros stay peacefully indoors. The ego of the police was bruised by endsars protests and the destruction of the stations. The IG has permitted them to defend themselves with their guns. They will use their guns this time irrespective of people's feelings. Moreso notice that the destruction in Lagos, for me, was by the agberos. NURTW now controls Lagos traffic. Okadas have gone beserk in Lagos. Bros police will not hesitate to revenge. |
*US ELECTION: ELECTORAL COLLEGE.* US election 2020: What is the electoral college? Published27 October. The US presidential election takes place 3 November. But it's possible the candidate with the most votes from the public won't be the winner. This is because the president is not chosen directly by the voters, but what's known as the electoral college. So who are Americans voting for? When Americans go to the polls in presidential elections they're actually voting for a group of officials who make up the electoral college. The word "college" here simply refers to a group of people with a shared task. These people are electors and their job is to choose the president and vice-president. The electoral college meets every four years, a few weeks after election day, to carry out that task. How does the electoral college work? The number of electors from each state is roughly in line with the size of its population. Each state gets as many electors as it has lawmakers in the US Congress (representatives in the House and senators). California has the most electors - 55 - while a handful of sparsely populated states like Wyoming, Alaska and North Dakota (and Washington DC) have the minimum of three. There are 538 electors in total. Each elector represents one electoral vote, and a candidate needs to gain a majority of the votes - 270 or more - to win the presidency. Generally, states award all their electoral college votes to whoever won the poll of ordinary voters in the state. For example, if a candidate wins 50.1% of the vote in Texas, they are awarded all of the state's 38 electoral votes. Alternatively, a candidate could win by a landslide and still pick up the same number of electoral votes. It's therefore possible for a candidate to become president by winning a number of tight races in certain states, despite having fewer votes across the country. There are only two states (Maine and Nebraska) which divide up their electoral college votes according to the proportion of votes each candidate receives. This is why presidential candidates target specific "swing states" - states where the vote could go either way - rather than trying to win over as many voters as possible across the country. Every state they win gets them closer to the 270 electoral college votes they need. Has a candidate lost the public vote but become president? Yes. In fact, two out of the last five elections were won by candidates who had fewer votes from the general public than their rivals. It is possible for candidates to be the most popular candidate among voters nationally, but still fail to win enough states to gain 270 electoral votes. In 2016, Donald Trump had almost three million fewer votes than Hillary Clinton, but won the presidency because the electoral college gave him a majority. In 2000, George W Bush won with 271 electoral votes, although Democrat candidate Al Gore won the popular vote by more than half a million. Only three other presidents have been elected without winning the popular vote, all of them in the 19th Century: John Quincy Adams, Rutherford B Hayes and Benjamin Harrison. Why was the system chosen? When the US constitution was being drawn up in 1787, a national popular vote to elect a president was practically impossible. This was because of the size of the country and the difficulty of communication. At the same time, there was little enthusiasm for allowing the president to be chosen by lawmakers in the capital, Washington DC. So, the framers of the constitution created the electoral college, with each state choosing electors. Smaller states favoured the system as it gave them more of a voice than a nationwide popular vote to decide the president. The electoral college was also favoured by southern states, where slaves made up a large portion of the population. Even though slaves didn't vote, they were counted in the US census (as three-fifths of a person). Since the number of electoral votes was determined by the size of a state's population, southern states had more influence in electing a president than a direct public vote would have given them. Do electors have to vote for the candidate who won? In some states, electors could vote for whichever candidate they prefer, regardless of who voters backed. But in practice, electors almost always vote for the candidate who wins the most votes in their state. If an elector votes against their state's presidential pick, they are termed "faithless". In 2016, seven electoral college votes were cast this way, but no result has been changed by faithless electors. What happens if no candidate gets a majority? The House of Representatives, the lower house of US lawmakers, will then vote to elect the president. This has happened only once, when in 1824 four candidates split the electoral vote, denying any one of them a majority. With two parties dominating the US system, this is unlikely to happen today. Culled from BBC page. |
WATCHOVER:Taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh. See your head like APC broom. Of course you must be an APC supporter. They are the ones who have been brainwashed and never see the good happening to others. If you like you can use nyokometer to see. Na fa fa fa fa fa fawol!!!!!!!!!! |
Tadeknkeepcalm:Even your defence is very poor of your earlier comment is not right. "Stepping into a dark empty space" Have you reasoned that she probably did not look into the elevator as she pressed the door open button? Maybe she had one leg already inside and there was no going back from there? Have you fallen into a hole before? Let's not fail to face the realities of our careless acts in this country. Where was the elevator attendant? A lot of our hotels should not have elevators at all. Do not forget the electricity issues. A lot of the elevators are very faulty. Some are fixed with old parts. For some people are stuck inside because of faulty doors or power outages. A faulty elevator should have danger signs all around it. The hotel faces a very serious lawsuit and potentially should be shut down. |
The truth is that a lot of the northern ladies and men want to be free to live and enjoy their lives far away from their chameleonic parents. Their religious inclination and social background is their handicap. They are not allowed to marry outside their beliefs and that's a mighty disadvantage to them. I am sure those yeye sugar daddies actually liked the picture. The girl already made her advert and should stop deceiving herself. Hypocritically the so called leaders watch the same tv programmes that the southerners watch and actually enjoy the programmes. Now the children of the elite do their pre marriage photoshoots, dressed to show off their bodies. Why not stop them from flying private jets. The leaders should please deal with embezzlement among them. |
cpu2006:Please tell us how. |
