What if Matawalle made himself inaccessible to fellow PDP governors? What if the governors contacted him and he refused to listen? He has too many issues on his hands in Zamfara and PDP has always supported him. He is one of the those waiting to defect as we know. Mentioning the president feels like softening the ground for his own defection. |
arantess:One wonders what it had to do with the east. The man left the substance of the matter and chased shadows. Painfully the ruling class in the north keep rubbing poverty in the face of the poor. When will the north truly be free and the poor among them allowed to live their lives in joy and peace? Go to the house of the rich and you'll find the best things of life. A lot of them wait for such days to make great bargains. What do they give the poor? A wrong interpretation of their beliefs just to cage them. Things truly need to change in the north so the poor can get the best out of their lives. |
SIRTee15:Why do you hide in the face of the reality? I can give you locations of several SW ladies, very single at over 40, with children from different fathers. If there is nothing sacrosanct about dowries then where is the marriage or legitimacy of the children? A lot of you youths on Nairaland live on speculation. Get up and go to the east just as the easterners are everywhere helping you make your societies better. Your women prefer marriage with easterners because they feel more secure and are better catered for. Do a small census of this among your women. |
kuuljay: Chai see the small boy who has been sharing with me. How old are you now? Are you an Indian, Pakistani, Nepalese or Sri Lanka? You do not know who pays dowry between the man and the woman! Do you even know the difference between the bride and the groom? Well I'll leave you to find all the about when you are grown up enough to get married. |
DenreleDave:Unfortunately they were caught. Don't get caught too. The truth is that Lagos gets more like a jungle everyday. Look at how NURTW hijacked the endsars protest that was supposed to draw our FGs attention to the irresponsibility of some policemen. Now NURTW makes driving on the roads very difficult. Okadas have completely invaded Lagos and moving around more cumbersome. Thuggery now is the order of the day. If our society must get better then we need to get disciplined and be law abiding. It's quite painful losing a property in that manner, but the truth is that many drivers will sit up. My only disagreement here is that the major violators of the law are the public bus drivers. Is the government of Lagos scared of them? Lastma officials seem to collect bribes from them and let them off the hook. The danfos, koropes, Kekes and Okadas should be seized and publicly auctioned as a deterrent to other members of their association. Lagos roads also need to be fixed. We are approaching two years of this administration and yet we have not witnessed that much meaningful impact on the roads. |
First morally he must stop using Twitter. |
Skyfornia:Even with 500 trillion the same story will continue. As we have already known, power has always been a veritable source of embezzlement of public funds. |
kuuljay:Since you are not married how can you know what "dowry" means? Get a good job first, get married and then you can tell us your experience. If you cannot experience that then your dullness may be worse than the same Buhari, whom you all choose as examples of your jokes. |
SIRTee15:And I bet you have never set your feet on Igbo land. How did you arrive at your conclusion? How many of your single ladies are married? In spite of Islam accepting men to marry 4 wives, do all the women get husbands? I bet that within your own set time women in their 50s will still be searching for husbands in your community. |
Yankee101:Igbos do the same. A lady is escorted to her husband's home with kitchen stuff and baby's equipment. That typically happens when marriage processes are completed and the amount of things she goes depend on the financial strength of her family. |
IamD18:It's witchcraft behaviour and poverty mentality. |
Where are the lands in Delta located please? Are they owned by individuals/families? How can one inspect them? |
complexBoss12:People like you need to be on this forum rubbing minds with decent people and not some youths who use this forum as an avenue to show how their school fees were wasted. Just like you commented, Gbajabiamila very likely would have played to the gallery as is the traditional character of our politicians. How would he ever pay the school fees of the children for life. He could get tired someday or even make himself inaccessible to the family as some point. Already justice is served as the culprit was arrested and would be charged to court for murder. Do not forget the mood of the nation presently regarding the police. You may wonder what happened to the results of inquiries made in too many cases like this. In Nigeria, the moment that tension easies, the matter is consigned to the dustbin of history. "Strike the iron while it is hot". These is no better time than now for that family to make their demands. Did you see Gbajabiamila carrying the man's new born baby? |
Openbusiness:Are you a lawyer? Do you know more than Mike Ozekhome their lawyer? Why not sit down comfortably in your house and watch the turn out of events? And by the way whoever told you that because they sued for 500m they'll get compensated with that sum? And how do you know that Gbajabiamila won't vacate his earlier promise (as the speaker), which is typical of Nigerian politicians? Do you know if the matter will be settled out of court? |
Yebosola:Sometimes some of you speak without proper reasoning. Maybe if it was you that was shot dead, you'd be ashamed of your people for making a reasonable demand from your killers. Pray that such fate does not befall you or any member of your family. I wonder why youths like you make mockery of tragic situations in the lives of others, trivialise and tribalise such matters. Countless people from your tribe have lost their lives in such situations and prominent lawyers like the same Mike Ozekhome, Femi Falana, etc have won compensations from them from the state. If not for your shortsightedness, you'd realise that Gbajabiamila's promise may only last now during his tenure as the speaker of the house. The family has sued the speaker in his position and that in effect is the government. You all participated in endsars and demanded justice, including looting and destroying properties of private individuals. Government responded and yet you still demand more concerning the police. Let's be mindful of our words please. |
TheLionofLasigi:Hahahahahahaha. So it pained you so much to the extent that you did not waste any time revealing your true identity. Remember the words "those who live in glass houses should not throw stones"? Now you showed how tragically tribalistic you are. You also in one fell swoop agreed with me about the lifestyle of your ladies. Further to that you revealed how irresponsible you are and exactly the kind of parents you were born from. Unfortunately it is not a secret that a majority of your ladies never get married. They rather make babies in their teenage years and run around unashamedly boasting of their achievements. A large percentage proudly end up as second, third, fourth and fifth, up to twentieth wives. Even at that dowries which are sacred are not paid. I believe that you are a product of one of those illegal set up relationship. Possibly your own mother, a motor park paraga seller mingled with your father, an Indian hemp smoker to deliver you, a failed product into the Nigerian society. People like you, ethnic jingoists, are the reasons your people are blind followers, eating breadcrumbs and shouting the praises of your slave masters to the roof tops. You definitely cannot be regarded as a proper human being, how much more a citizen of any class. Certainly the failures of your forebears have set you apart for the kind of life you find yourself living presently. |
TheLionofLasigi:Ask yourself why Bimbo Akintola has never married. What about Bimbo Oshin and a host of others? Have you ever visited Baba landlord controlling several rooms in his compound with Igbo boys living there? The man's daughters beg for money, matches, pepper, salt, kerosene and to watch TV. The man's wives beg for the same thing and end up begging Igbo boys to have sex with them. Una girls na the biggest sarra, with due respect to your decent folks. It is common knowledge in the country that the cheapest women are from the SW. Na 10 for 100 naira dem be. They need little money to start their paraga business or selling of wares on trays in all busstops. |
Lie. All these lies and cover up should stop abeg. Ask the Kogi ladies how much their people charge as bride price. Whatever you pay to the father and men, you give half of that sum to the mum and other women. Sometimes therefore, you can pay dowry of over 100,000 naira. Add that to entertainment and other things. Benue is also very costly except the people come here to pretend. Have you checked the dowries of the Kano people, etc? Some have paid dowry of one million naira adding cattle, etc to it. Yoruba say they don't sell their children. What about the owambe money? Anyway their own method is pack and enter, later after pickin come and settle! |
ivolt:One thing is to be talented while another thing is to be favoured. He can have the talent and not have the favour to make it. Dangote as the richest man in Nigeria is not the most educated, yet the most educated beg to be employed by him. Blackface needs now to attach to those who are favoured and stop crying over the successes of everyone. |
TOPCRUISE:The bail of of N100m in the case of Kanu was paid to the court by Abaribe. You may verify that. |
durasome:Effected keh? Such orders are effected right inside the court there. His security would drive away without him as court security takes over. If he's not in Kuje now, he should be on his way. Once the pronouncement is made not even the CJ can reverse it at that point. If Ndume's sleeps in his house today, it will amount to ojoro. Very painful indeed. I hope he did not allow himself to be used by the crooked and deceptive Maina. Everyone avoided Maina and Ndume graciously risked his name. The same fate could have befallen Abaribe in the matter of Kalu Orji. Abaribe ended up losing his N100m to the court. |
iaamxavier:When Gani Adams factionalized OPC and broke away with his own faction from the original one of Dr. Frederick Faseun were you not born, or were you still suckling? Only Igbo matter na him go kill you. Your head like kulikuli there! |
Maize247:Have you wondered why soldiers at that point of entry wished them safety to the location? Did you wonder why soldiers who were aware of the purpose of the parents there did not follow them, at least to rescue the children? Do you think the kidnappers did not know that soldiers were on duty at that point? Why did the bandits ask the parents to enter the bush at that point where soldiers were on duty? Have you not heard of the complicity of soldiers in kidnappings? Who fools who in this country? |
Speedily all hands will be on deck to get Maina. After that never will Ndume not bail anyone. Also it is a big lesson to senators and others. Ndume's prayer is for Maina to be found. If not so see jail for im front! |
It is a fake poster. It may have been intended as a joke, but I think it is a joke taken too far. People from Orogwe community in Imo state have stated that there is no such school there claimed as the venue neither is there any church as that. |
Army controlled by APC. Soldiers could not carry out such heinous act without clearance from "above". The governor allowed them and the C in C approved it. Wicked people in power! |
But I used to think that Obiano was an APC man in the coat of APGA. Anyway Obiano has been working very well in Anambra state. Ubah eyes that seat. |
RuudVanNisteroy:The same youths who collected large sums from state governments and private individuals during the endsars protest to subvert it? By 2030 UK would have completely phased out petrol and diesel. Where will Nigeria send crude oil to and where will Nigeria get petrol from, especially as European nations would have followed the same line by then? |
SAMBARRY:Owu, bad belle and cut betnaija ticket have been exhibited by you in your comment. Get a life! |
jacobjamie:And by the way, in this age where using women's undies for rituals has become a big issue why did the man not give the lady the money to purchase undies on her own? Please look at the matter dispationately. I'm not trying to defend those who attacked the man or justify it. It is unacceptable, but we need more care and caution with this women undies matter in Nigeria. The man who posted the images deserves some dressing down and should be made to pay some compensation. |
Buharifan:"PDP and poor English grammar (is) like 5 & 6". You just exposed yourself! Mr. good English thank you for that very poor one. And by the way did you have to use all those commas to exhibit a good understanding of written English? Surely you need some lessons in the use of commas and punctuations. |
With due respect why are we not seeing Jide Kosoko, Mr. Latin, Iya rainbow, Ogogo, Omotola, Fathia Balogun and other Yoruba actors/actresses in those images? Are they not part of Nollywood anymore? Abi na tribal matter? |
