With a government that seems to deliberately ignore that destructions of the lands and crops of Nigerians, what do you expect? Everyday the cost of tomatoes, onions and other basic crops increase because of the wickedness of these people. Even the nonsense Fulani herdsmen who should face their cow business have taken kidnapping and killing as their profession, even killing some of their own people in the process and forcing the price of beef up. They closed the borders in the name of tackling smuggling and the price of rice went beyond the reach of the so called ordinary people. Thankfully those who voted and continue to support APC suffer the same fate. Nonsense people who have not seen that they have all been bewitched. |
Nbotee:Ipob matter na im go finish the idiot life. |
amaham:Under this government, very soon, this government may borrow from Togo, Ghana, Republic of Benin, Congo, Equitorial Guinea, etc. They have perfected that art of borrowing and afflicting the country with poverty. |
NNEWIsuper:And hopefully you or someone very close to you will be found in the middle of the gun battle. |
PlayerMeji:Hahahahahahahaha. Abeg bros can this be called tattoo also? Or did the man in the image have an encounter with a bear or lion? Abi na fork do am so? |
PlayerMeji:Please help up upload images of "Gombo" for better understanding. Cheers. |
muykem:And hopefully you or anyone very close to you will be caught in the cross fire or visited by soldiers or people with guns. |
After all said and done NLC told us that they called off the strike over fuel and electricity following government's proposal. We were all happy thinking the yeye NLC people had good intentions. Prior to this time Discos fixed electricity tariff that were unacceptable. We all protested and we were trickishly told that government, NLC and Discos were working on it and at the end we would be given favourable rates and terms. With this in mind we were told that they were reverting to old rates and we all relaxed. How many have noticed the new rates that took effect on 01/11/2020? N1000 now gives 17.2 Kwh as against 43.6 Kwh which was the reason for the strike. I don't understand how much Nigerians can tolerate these wicked and poverty inflicting policies and agenda of this government. It means that N10,000 which one used to purchase 436Kwh can now only purchase 172 Kwh. Now one needs close to N30,000 to get 436Kwh. These people are simply very brutal and intend to ensure that Nigeria's poverty exceeds that of Afghanistan. Today fuel and electricity tariffs have remained as they were prior to the deceptive NLC strike. |
ghettochild:With begging, borrowing, travelling through the desert, borrowing and killing themselves to get to France. Jagbajantis people sef. |
So we take it that they have admitted that they sent the "soldiers". So now na "unknown soldier" or "hooligan" do am. We saw images of thugs and hoodlums jumping in and out of jeeps supposedly belonging to those in charge in Abuja. They denied that they used thugs to inflitrate and destabilize the protesters. Now that the AG has taken over the job of the army by telling us his own version, we can safely say he confirmed to us how the FG got involved by deploying "thugs" to shoot innocent people. They have consistently been going aboit in circles, telling us that nobody was shot and how only two people were shot. Nonsense and ingredients. |
classicfrank4u:And if you see him physically you"ll notice how he resembles A CRAB. |
They blamed PDP until they got power. The continued blaming PDP from 2015 till date. There is a rubber stamp HOA. Noticeably they blame themselves. When will they starting owning up and move Nigeria forward? |
The manner with which BRT buses are attacked and destroyed by members of the NURTW gives cause for concern. Take note that before this event of a few days ago, attacks were laid on BRT buses plying the Ikorodu route when in an unfortunate accident, a woman lost her life. A lot of these buses have been brazenly destroyed by the union members in Ojota axis. One cannot but wonder what the state government is doing, or why the state government stands aloof. Ordinarily the transport sector should be handled by the state government. Many years ago in the 60's and 70's Lagos transport was primarily in the hands of government. In Lagos with the "Marcopolo" brand of buses and others, there was LMTS which eventually metarmophosed into the LSTC. Bus routes had numbers with each bus having conductors and ticket machines. Supervisors randomly got on buses along the routes to check tickets and remove passengers without tickets. Everything went well until poor management, bad handling and negligence allowed "kia kia" buses make their ways into Lagos roads in the 70s. Here we are today as the unions were allowed to totally take over. Ex gov Ambode made the move to eliminate danfos, kekes and okadas from our roads, but those who thought he was taking away their sources of income removed him. Everyday these danfos, okadas and kekes device more wicked ideas. I am of the belief that the magnitude of destruction in Oyingbo and Yaba on BRT buses could only be inflicted by a competitor. The lesser the BRT buses and police men on the roads, the higher the amounts charged by the unions and more harm to the citizens. Ambode had a plan to get the union members to participate by using the buses as seed capital to get buses from government and then pay the full cost instalmentally. That was a great idea, if complemented with the rail network, would have given Lagos a better outlook and modernised the city. Unfortunately successive governors in Lagos have not summoned the political will to deal with the NURTW thugs and get them to pay for the destroyed buses. Cumulatively the buses destroyed in Lagos cost N3.2b. Those who suffer it are innocent Lagosians. The governor must wake to his responsibility of protecting the state's assets in Lagos, ensuring that those who wilfully damage the assets must pay. |
Which security are they talking about? Now everywhere is rowdy without traffic managers. NURTW members have taken over the job. Security officers are nowhere to be found out of fear of getting injured. |
ignis:Why not try them out first. Maybe rob someone carrying a gun and try them out. Once you do that let us know how you feel after the encounter in any part of life you find yourself. |
Odidigboigbo:But you have failed to mention your part of Delta state. Maybe you are an Urhobo, Itsekiri or Isoko person. I deliberately set aside the Ukwuanis, Aniomas and Ikas because I know by perception that you are not from there. Let us know and I can tell you how wicked your people can be in such matters, with examples. |
bukatyne:You are right with your comment about entitlements and properties. I've always held the view that properties left behind are without doubts meant for the immediate family. My contention is the relationship with the man's siblings. Granted that there are siblings that are very greedy, cannot be pacified and never liking the woman; be that as it may women must strive to make good friendships with their inlaws. Next also is the tribal sentiments. It is very infortunate that such things are hypocritically attributed to the Igbos alone. Why do people prepare wills? Are wills only made by people of a particular tribe, race or religion? Wills are prepared all over the world by people to avoid family battles and crisis like this. It transcends race, color, creed or religion. In the event that there is no will there may be some confusion if the relationship is non existent. People seem to have unnecessary bitterness against the Igbos. I know only the uninformed who thrive on hearsay come on a platform like this to exhibit their ignorance. |
Odidigboigbo:Abbeggii. Mention your community in Delta state and I can tell you some of their wicked acts. Which of the communities mention does not practice it? |
Lucyspa:Thank you my English teacher. "Chatting shit" depicts improper mannerism in a public forum as this. I perceive Nanka people to be very brutal as I had a bitter first hand experience with the a Nanka lady in such a matter 10 years ago, with the loss of a young man very close to me. I've not looked at the matter from with a bias, if you look at my comments carefully. You agreed with the lady's story, hook, line and sinker without taking your time to think about the extremes in such issues. I looked at the extremes on the basis of experience. Women give wrong information in such matters to make their husband's families look like the devil. We can proceed decently and objectively, if you want, without recourse to rudeness and insults. |
thorpido:Reading through her petition, can you not safely say that she was aware of her husband's health condition while she was away? She said "my husband had been taken away to an unknown location, because he had a crisis". Assumimg the crisis developed while she was in Ondo state, what did she do? Truly no good woman fails to ensure the well being of her husband, but in this case I can safely say there was an existing feud. Do you know that chronic ulcer is a very dangerous medical condition that needs serious attention? Women are known to label their husband's families bad names when such things happen. |
SILVERLINES:Your judgement is completely one sided. You did not hear from the man's family. You did not hear from her how she related with her inlaws. You did not hear from her if she encouraged the man to cut off his family? You do not even know whether she charmed the man into marriage with her. Don't forget that some women get juju to make men marry them? The woman said in her statement that she travelled to be with her mum when her husband was in crisis. That's very sad to hear. Who did she abandon the man for? The siblings obviously covered up for her when she travelled as her children were too young to play the role. I take it that there was no good relationship between her and her inlaws for 13 years and they cut her off in their pain. The woman then turned sentimental and has tried to blackmail the Igbos. If she married a fellow Yoruba would that not have happened to her? The Yorubas are known to battle it to the last over properties of their deceased sons. It is very important for women to have good relationships with their inlaws. Do not wish your husband's mother to die. Do not wish to marry a man without a mother. Do not stop a man from relating with his family, especially if the man comes from a united and peaceful home. Do not carry the war in your own father's house to your husband's home. Try to make good friendships with two or more of your husband's people. In the sad case of a loss or battle for properties, your friend's within your husband's siblings will fight for you. Yorubas prefer to marry Igbo men because they feel better taken care of. You may verify that. Please erase your sentiments and let's all live in peace. |
Odidigboigbo:Taaaaaaaaa make we hear something. Is it better in Delta state. In such cases Delta state ranks among the worst please. I mean all communities in Delta state, whether Urhobo, Isoko, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Ukwuani, Agbor, etc. Do you need examples in Delta state? These issues happen in families where you have greedy, covetous nd wicked people, irrespective of tribe. |
Midas01:Stop playing the ostrich here please, especially if you are from the south west. This issue of properties after the demise of any of the couple is not confined to the Igbos only. It is an age long matter with the Yorubas and other African tribes. It is even worse in the south west. It is the norm of Africans to lay claim on properties at the demise of their siblings. I have met Yoruba women who have requested their husband's to build personal houses for them so that at the demise of the man, her husband's family in claiming the man's properties would not claim that particular one. Go to the courts today and you'll find too many cases of family members battling over properties. |
From all information available by the residents there, Ikotun was hijacked by hoodlums. Hoodlums laid seige on Ikotun starting from the old garage area and there was a shootout between them and OPC men there. Some lives were lost there. The hoodlums had an agenda to loot the local government market and the shops on the road. Last thursday the hoodlums shot dead a mobile policeman at college bus stop and also killed a perceived police informant in front of his son. They laid seige again on the police station and destroyed the fire station. The brand new fire truck was burnt to ashes by the hoodlums. By thursday evening they broke into a big superstore called TWINSFAJA. They looted the store and proceeded to the electronic store opposite called SMARTEK. They proceeded to SLOT. All these shops and many of those close by were wickedly looted bare by these barbarians. You"ll weep if you see the destructions. Reports had it that many women joined in the looting carting away refrigerators, generators, bags of rice, cartons of noodles, foodstuffs, mobile phones, laptops and everything they could lay their hands on till this monday. If the police came in to protect properties of innocent businessmen who should we blame? The looters should be blamed. Please get to Twinsfaja, Smartek, Slot and other shops there and you"ll see the trail of destruction by these very evil people. Do not forget that people's sources of livelihood have been destroyed. A lot of business people in Lagos took out loans to stock up their shops. Some very devilish people have carried away their livelihood and brought them to ruins. Innocent endsars protesters were not shot. From the reports received no innocent endsars protester was lost. Those who lost their lives were the thieves who acted under the guise of protest. |
OlujobaSamuel:My brother what bothers me is that we hear so many good stories of how Lagos is a mega city with everywhere well built up. I know that Ijagemo area. That area can connect Ojo barracks at the back and roads can connect Festac and Okota from there if the major road is built. Look at Abaranje as far as Okerube. Notice how bad the link road there is leading to Okerube. Luckily I noticed that a small road has been connected between Okerube and Iba expressway at Akesan area. When roads are built, areas are opened up. Comnerce will thrive and traffic holdups vanish. One is forced to ask why some people live in Lagos but there is no appearance of Lagos in the areas where they reside. With a very good road passing through Ijagemo lives will be better for those living within and around its environs. Same goes for Ijedodo. Anyway once again I think corruption has dealt a very wicked blow on this country. Corruption is the principal problem. The people there to should let their votes matter during elections and not way to collect the peanuts that enslave them all. Lastly I think people who live around those areas should take protests to the governor's office and the state assembly. |
smallsmall:Your foolishness is very legendary. Irresponsible youths like you are the reason why we all face the present security challenges in our society. Idiots like you will never call a spade a spade because you choose to permanently live in the fool's paradise. "Crime is not anticipatory" and yet you have burglary proofs over your house windows, burglary proofs in your shops and offices. Crime is not anticipatory and the wealthy purchase bullet proof cars. Crime is not anticipatory and yet you take security measures to protect yourself. If you do not think that people can steal your phone and hack into your bank account why do you have SIM lock? Olodo like you beating about the bush with PMB's daughter's story which was an unfortunate story that should not be compared with your friend here, which was a glaring crime. You call it "power abuse" because you are not the one affected or any member of your family. Someone used another person's name in that manner and your shamelessly justify it, rather than thank God the young man was not detained beyond that period or had his future damaged by sending him to jail. It is your likes who are the touts and garage boys who damaged the #endsars protest with your irresponsible behaviour. It is clear that you must have joined in looting people's business the way you have distorted the truth here. Your agama lizard like head should be bowed in shame. |
Itisallright:And some stupid rioters burned down the fire station and the brand new fire truck in Ikotun axis in Lagos. Without that emergency response it would have been a horror in Ogba. Let's thank God. |
BeLookingIDIOT:You should receive a very strong knock on your palm kernel like head for not thinking properly. You moniker says it all "idiot"! |
OlujobaSamuel:May I ask if there is no councillor there? If there is a councillor there, is his job not to inform the LG or LCDA? Secondly when they campaigned for the election, did the governor, federal and state.assembly members not get to those areas? Did they not make campaign promises? If it is so, why have they failed to fulfil their promises? It is a shame when we hear that a certain organisation makes 20 billion from collecting taxes every year from Lagos. Lagos on its own makes over 200 billion from taxes alone and yet we see such organisation in a city like that. Ambode would have taken Lagos to the next level. Have you seen the jobs done in areas like Igando? Ikola command, etc? |
Nazgul:Somebody created a parody account using the name of someone else. Next he said he was catching fun because he was a supporter of the person. You call the offended person wicked because he tried to ensure that someone did not potentially use his name and personality to defraud people in the society. Someone bought a SIM previously used by PMB's daughter and he will live his life not forgetting the harrassment he got from the DSS. Can he try the rubbish with even a member of his state's assembly and expect to go away unruffled? How would you have felt if it was your name that was used by an unknown person for such an act? The stupid boy who should be reprimanded by you is dealt with and magnanimously allowed to go, and you have the guts to label it "wickedness". How could he take his foolish joke that far? Why did he not use his own father's name? What was his real intention? He definitely passed his limits with the person of a former president. And he told people that he was a GEJ supporter. Should a right thinking person believe him? So he did not think of the implication before embarking on that suicide mission. "These people are just heartless". You are the heartless person who needs to see the truth and embrace it because of your selfish comment. Do not be part of those youths who in the face of the truth deliberately embrace lies. Your shortsightedness has not allowed you see that it was a clear case of defamation, as the boy admitted it. You do not know that GEJ can institute a claim against him, while he can have criminal proceedings leading to jail against him? He should be thanking God that he was set free after 82 days from police detention instead of going to jail that would have damaged his future. |
Koulture:"Messiah"? But your people constitute a greater percentage of Nigerians living in America and faking the American accent. Trump's foreign policy makes America first. That encourages their people to protect their interests first and never call their country "shithole". America may veto her nomination but the process does not entirely depend on their vote. As of today she has secured the votes of 106 countries out of 164. This includes China and the EU countries. Irrespective of the perception of the rest of the world against Nigeria, such positions will help to enhance our image. |
azmanaty2:You as you youth why not take up the challenge and join the Nigerian army. With the anger inside you, you can quickly find your way to Maiduguri as a brave man to defend your father land. |
