Reference: Was it not ignorant Nigerians that were screaming that they wanted COOPERATION not CONFRONTATION?
Is this not the result. You hand all your aces to those on the other side and expect your opponent to keel over and capitulate.
Who then fights for you when you have handed over your bodyguard (the legislature) and your attorney (the judiciary) to your adversary at the primise of peace. Is there anything more foolish?
They have now made the citizens give up so much but they have not given up anything. They have not given up their storied culture of waste, graft and maladministration so all the money will predictably go into their bottomless pit. Only in Nigeria.
The Minister of Petroleum even had the effontery to say the money saved will be used to REHABILITATE the refineries they have been rehabilitating since 1987 (first time I started hearing that word). That is trying to awaken the beast that has devastated this country for decades instead of burning it to the ground and chasing all the rats away.
But here we are. Sentiment has disarmed the citizens are now we are cannon fidder for this APC led 'change' goverment. They will use the money for more 'school feeding', more 'pandemic palliatives', more jet setting, more 'contracting' and every disgusting and disingenuous policy they can cook up tantalise the citizens while stealing theur common wealth leaving them absolutely worse off for their sacrifices in time to come.
WHAT HAS GOVERMENT CONCEDED TO NIGERIANS IN THIS, WHAT ARE THEY GIVING UP, WHAT PLEASURES ARE THEY SACRIFICING....NOTHING.
In the past serious negotiations will preceed such monumental moves. Today, nothing. Full blown autocracy is what Nigerians voted for. The ability of the average Nigerian to control and direct his destiny is lost.
Who hands over a trillion naira of sacrifice to its goverment without asking questions or anything in return except Nigerians. China that has given us loans on behalf of its citizens is shaking our sovreignity. Our citizens are giving much more to goverment and dashing away their liberties as 'jara'. Just mind boggling. You got it right. Painfully the bamboozled people believe that they need to sacrifice more for their expected "change" to happen. They see clearly that their messiah has failed on all fronts and yet they believe. With this kind of mind set by millions of bewitched Nigerians the country is in a big hole. |

post=93832842: This is not the time to increase fuel price in our darling nation at all.
Not with all that is going on around the world, pandemic et al, When people are finding it difficult to survive.
This is part of the same reason we voted out the party of thieves and criminals.
THIS IS NOT THE CHANGE WE VOTED FOR.
The same way we sane, honest and hardworking Nigerians praised this government when they reduced fuel price sometimes ago, we should make sure we put our voice together to castigate and talk against this.
That is the voice the government will listen to, Not the voice of children of hate, frustration and perdition that have never seen any good thing in our country, That all they do is to wail continously in life. They even wailed when the price was reduced. They have been wailing since PMB won the election, even before swearing in! They are not wailing for the common man like (Omotola) and all other sane and honest people are doing, but they are wailing in pain that the corrupt money being shared to them by the losers they support is not forthcoming anymore. They have been so used to corruption, they see it as a way of life. That is what we stand against.
WE SAY NO TO FUEL PRICE INCREASE. A better Nigeria for all is all we want. "We say NO to fuel increase". How do you propose this NO to work? I ask this question seeing that opposing voices have been viciously silenced. Electricity tariff increased almost the same day. Borders permanently shut against smugglers, yet price of rice (local and imported range between 24,000 & 32,000). A total ban on CBN sorting out food imports. Far less money in the pockets of the people. Transport companies have taken advantage of covid19 rules to hike prices. Now that you have discovered that this is not the change you people voted for, do you honestly think that the people in power today are the right ones to take Nigerians to greater heights? |

Nothing will change. Nothing will be achieved. With Lawan and Gbajabiamila working hand in hand with the president there is no hope. Unfortunately the were supported to power by civil society group and organised labour. Now the citizens appear bewitched and have lost their voices. The fear of endless detention has shut the mouths of the few who could speak up. Their supporters are so ashamed and have chosen to bear the pain of the wounds inflicted on them by their own people. |

What will that mass action change? Who are those to participate? How come our people, having been bamboozled, hoodwinked, deceived and bewitched to believe those campaign words before 2015 have suddenly come to the realization that subsidy removal is the way out? Now not just did they remove subsidy, they increased electricity cost at the same time.
The economic pains inflicted by corvid 19 are daily experienced. Borders are shut permanently. Bag of rice rose from 8k in 2015 to 16k in 2019 and now @32k. Curiously the people who booted PDP/GEJ out in 2015 still tell everyone that all is well and people should be hopeful. I am very sure that for the so called supporters there will be plenty of regrets in their private moments and plenty of crying especially when they see NO FOOD in their homes. |

Politics › The Hypocrisy Of APC, NLC And Civil Society Groups by Cantonese(op): 8:27pm On Sep 08, 2020 |
Nigeria clearly began to notice fuel shortages during the government of the late Sani Abacha. It took a different dimension during the government of President Obasanjo, with Adams Oshiomole leading NLC along with civil society groups in the protests against fuel hikes and the attempt of President Obasanjo to deregulate just before 2007.
President Jonathan was practically pushed out of office in 2015. He peacefully allowed the amalgamation of different parties and associations to form the present APC. Protests were all over the place against the attempt by President Jonathan to deregulate in 2012. We got promises from APC before the 2015 election that fuel would be reduced to #45. Since 2015 it has been one story or the other as fuel rose with excuses that Jonathan's government had plundered the economy. We were told when APC campaigned that deregulation would be imposing unnecessary hardship on the people. Civil society groups and organised labour joined the campaign against PDP/Jonathan. Nigerians generally agreed and APC won the election. What do we have today? FULL DEREGULATION. The same thing APC supported by organised labour and civil society groups campaigned against.
One is tempted to ask why organised labour, civil society groups and Nigerians in general have not been vocal against this policy. The truth is not difficult to find. A proverb says "he who fetched firewood infected with ants invites the lizard to visit". We can clearly see that since they all teamed up to support APC they cannot make noise. They all know the risks involved with protests against this present government, so it's better to shuts their mouths and live with the pain. Can we say they have been bewitched?
Just about one year ago the borders were shut in an attempt to curb smuggling. Price of imported rice which stood at #16,000, just one year ago skyrocketed. The idea was to boost local production and promote made in Nigeria. That idea turned out to be counter productive. Not only have rice farmers been smiling to the bank with very fat profits (Nigerian rice @24,000), imported rice, which is still smuggled, sells at between 30,000 and 32,000. There is no functional price control board to checkmate prices. The consumer protection council appears incapacitated. Nigerians are at the mercy of shylocks everywhere.
Can someone please help us beg the people in charge to reopen our borders? When will all these punishing policies stop? Can anyone confidently tell us how APC has done better than PDP? At this rate what will be the condition of Nigerians by 2023?
God dey o! |

Bullpenn11: WILLIE OBIANO AND HIS WIFE ARE ALLEGED TO HAVE ENTERED INTO ARRANGEMENTS FOR AIRPEACE TO LAUNDER SOME OF THE FUNDS IMPROPERLY SIPHONED FROM ANAMBRA STATE TREASURY INTO PROXY ACCOUNTS AND SHELL COMPANIES IN ATLANTA AND OTHER US STATES.
THIS IS CAUSING SERIOUS PROBLEMS IN ANAMBRA STATE >>>
HERES WHY.
EBERECHUKWU OBIANO did the unthinkable when she exported Anambra State funds to Houston, USA and hired several U- Haul trucks, setting up under a bridge there to feed Americans, even dashing them other goodies from bags filled with electronics and other gifts in that oil rich state, and using her front for laundering cash, called the CAFE FOUNDATION while millions of citizens in her home state of Anambra were starving and poverty ridden. She did not care about these poor masses, as her mission was to engage in this PR stunt in preparation to by , as she has continually boasted, for the elective office of Mayor of Sugarland, Texas. In preparation for this, this First Lady has been transferring huge funds from Anambra State treasury to USA using various fronts. She has applied for US citizenship in order to pursue this objective, but unknown to her, there are several petitions pending against her, both at the EFCC and the United States, even under the presidential proclamation 7750 which deals with corrupt foreign public officials who have domiciles assets, proceeds of corruption from their home countries. Ebelechukwu Obiano’s overbearing and avaricious attitude has cost Governor Willie Obiano dearly. It was said that this was the major reason Willie Obiano couldn’t ascend the position of the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank. It was her attitude that drove the Governor into drunkenness especially when it became difficult for her to conceive.
Mrs Obiano is so razz and uncultured having been raised by a single mother that was busy having children for eight different men. Up till today, people still wonder what could have brought such a cultured and well trained man like Willie Obiano, together with such an uncultured Osodietipia. It’s common knowledge that Mrs Obiano has overturned many Executive decisions that does not favour her business interest. She has even caused letters of appointments made by the Governor to be either withheld or sub-planted with another one. It’s common knowledge that Mrs Obiano does not mind making their home uncomfortable for her husband until he reverses the Exco decisions. She doesn’t care even if by doing that, the husband commits an impeachable The most troubling reversal of Exco decision happened when Madam Governor used her diabolical powers to overrule the Executive Council decisions regarding facility management in the Government Lodges. Despite Exco’s approval of some companies by merit, Osodietipia, the She that must be obeyed,, swung into action to deploy her companies to the various contracts thereby nullifing Executive Council decisions. Till today, her companies are the ones executing all the contracts in all the Government lodges. And the worst is that in the face of all these, the Governor seems so powerless.
Mrs. Obiano's appetite for money is unquenchable to the extent that she does not even understand what is meant by conflict of interest by those in government. She’s everywhere. She’s scheming using known proxies in all ministries. She uses CAFE her pet program as the reason for her excessive acquisitions. She manipulates the State’s IGR through the Wiping Wiper using Dr. Nzekwu and the disgraced and demoted Okey Anyayo. He also uses Mr Luke Aniakor, Emeka Ozumba, and many others as her proxies in moping all the funds from Anambra State. She forced the installation of her brother as the Anambra Market Chairman and he collects over N20m monthly in IGR from the markets in Anambra State but remits a paltry N300k to the state.
Below are some of the companies she uses to execute the facilities management and other contracts in Anambra State against the approval of the Anambra State Executive Council.
1. Golden Fingers 2. Siva Engineering 3. Moses must Win 4. AggapeHoldings 5. Health Ambassadors and Associates 6. Imoyel Construction. 7. Every Child Nig Ltd. 8. Heaven At Last Services 9. Shuhel Nig 10. Rejoice Nig. Ltd,
The ten companies mentioned above are owned 100% by madam governor of Anambra State. She uses some known Nigerian businessmen to transfer funds siphoned from the state treasury to the USA. Those are some of the companies that Mr. Luke Obiakor uses to terrorise Permanent Secretaries in all the Ministries in Anambra State. The slow pace of many contracts and road repairs in Anambra state like the Enugu-Agidi- Nawgwu -Ukwulu road which is not yet done 50% is because the job is under Mrs Obiano even when the contract has been fully paid. The Amawbia-Nise-Nri-Agulu road rehabilitation is not done 30% because Madam Governor is the one handling the repairs and the Commissioner for works dare not query her almost uncompromising attitude to the pace expected of construction companies in Anambra state in execution of these road contracts
1. Paul Obiakor moves millions of naira every week to the governor's lodge at Amawbia. We have records and will unleash this if the governor did not listen to us.
2. Details of all jobs done in all ministries by Mrs Obiano will be published.
3.All the contracts Mrs Obiano cornered at ASUBBEB which she has not done and the ones she barely touched will be published in our subsequent publications.
4. Anambra Roads Maintenance Agency (ARMA) is squarely under Mrs Obiano as she positioned her cousin as the MD of ARMA since it's inception. We have records of all roads she collected money for but refused to execute the repairs.
5. We will publish the names of Mrs Obianos's agents in Ministries, Agencies, MDAs and Parastals of government in Anambra state who Mrs Obiano positioned as Commissioners and MDs. These people make returns to her every month.
6. We will expose local and international bank accounts of Mrs. Obiano. Monies she siphoned and lodged in accounts under the name of her mother, her daughter presently engaged in her housemanship Medical studies in America, her brother as well as proxies in America and also those monies she lodged with a guy widely known as her boyfriend in America. She recently forced the Anambra State Tenders Board to approve the sum of 183 million for the purchase of a brand new customized latest model BMW jeep for her use as well as 77 million Naira for the purchase of another jeep for her crony. All the documents have been duplicated.
Now she took of to America on 1st September 2020 for another round of money laundering of our funds. Her husband Willie the governor is set to join her in USA next week. Anambra State is in a bad state and people keep quiet and allow this looting couple to steal the state coffers dry.
Ayamelum Frontiers for Democracy and Good Governance. In the contemporary Nigeria where we all live, do you think these allegations are possible? Which governor in his right senses will ever allow his wife pillage the purse of the state seeing the danger and possibility of jail. In all do you want to say here that Obiano has not been effective as a governor? What has happened so suddenly to the network of roads made by the man? |
