Nonsense and Soludo. OP please ask him to allow that old man, Igwe Aguluezechukwu, to enjoy his Ofalla festival, presently taking place in peace. The Igwe should be the among the oldest people in Nigeria as a whole, and probably the longest serving monarch after that if Nnewi, Igwe Orizu in Anambra state. Thank you. |
maivd:By the way, what stops you from relocating to either your own state/town or village? Is it that there is no food, or no jobs there? Again, where will you get your phones, laptops, electronics, building materials, car parts, plates, spoons, cooking utensils, drugs, shelter, electricals/electrical parts, boxers, shirts, female dresses, etc, from? Do you see the reason the lady was lamenting? |
Na wa |
Too late. Now the man will invite the same woman to share his own food. The man will surely return the favour. Treat your spouse carelessly, someone out there will treat your spouse carefully. The same happens that male and female. |
One of the greatest from Brazil. Very sad. Very popular with the bicycle kick. Nigerians in those days corrupted his nsme, calling him Zangalo. Each tine a footballer either attempted or scored with a bicycle kick, people screamed ZANGALOOOOO! Rest on old man. |
maivd:Two years keh? What will remain of your side? Two weeks and this lamentation. Na your side make the statement and as you see it carries plenty weight already. |
maivd:Abi? But remember that people of your side have started lamenting and begging that those who went to enjoy their holidays peacefully should immediately return. Bros in just a few days, hunger don enter your side, so tay cry and begging follow. |
IfnobeGod20:However the aggrieved party here is PDP. Rivers state is getting involved in a constitutional matter. The law remains that they former lawmakers no longer have seats. The matter will get to the supreme Court because APC is the beneficiary and in control. Whichever way the try to meander through, Amaewhule and co are not legitimate anymore. |
Waoh. Nice seeing Emeka Ike as part of it. Big congratulations to Funke Akindeke. Hard work pays! |
Alaba market has been closed since the 24th of December. Reopening date is 8th of January when a few of the traders would have returned. Now you can see that for two weeks, no business. No buying, no selling. Vehicles drive freely on that road. Those who do business in Alaba international must be grieving the delay. Meanwhile full business will resume just before the end of January. Traders are enjoying their holiday, their hard earned money, collecting chieftaincy titles, marrying wives, visiting family and friends, wining/dining inspite of all the federal government induced stress. Na who lose pass? |
Wawelexy:That “lost contact” was one very painful part of the story. He probably disconnected with his family because of the same woman. His siblings probably warned him against the relationship and he stubbornly went ahead. The result is this story of woman termed “fair weather friend”. Hopefully his siblings can see him and help him out. Thanks to the hospital for helping him. |
OP get other things to write please. This does not qualify for your mockery. Such crashes are found among airforces worldwide. Moreso, the Americans have much more than other nations. And by the way, your Russia will take several years to get to the present American air capacity. |
Hmm. No be small matter. |
Omenlon:Oh we are on that. Now that you have heard it, can you find your t/fare to travel to help your group with their defence? |
Finally dem eyes don clear. They have arrived at the destination they were working very hard to reach. No more robberies. No more good life. Life imprisonment waiting. |
obailala:"You seem to be trying to paint a picture that Nigerian churches are poor, are you for real? Nigerian churches that are listed as one of the richest religious organisations in the world? ... " Did you read my response to OP's comment? Please read again and understand my view. |
Ilaje1:How did Atiku elevate Obi please? Do you want to say that Obasanjo elevated Atiku in 1999? By the way, so you are part of those who cannot afford the charge for transport by bus to Obi's University for verification? Do you need transport fare? Atiku hired lawyers and paid airfares to and fro USA. You do not need that, except you want to show publicly how Tinubu's strange economic policies affect you too. |
No better slap yet? |
Withdrawing the suit does not end the matter. PDP is in court trying to ensure that the said 25 do not remain in the house. What Ehie has done is to leave PDP to handle the constitutional matter through the courts. That’s the same position with Fubara. |
Eco state needs roads. The rural areas need to be opened up. There are too many farm places ducts waiting to get to the urban areas. With the poor network of roads, they largely are wasted. |
Hmmmm |
Very audacious. Now health challenges. No health challenges while embezzling public funds. |
10 years definitely. |
obailala:Certainly the level of giving is dictated by what one has in his pocket/purse/account. Our economy is a great decider of the level of our spending or giving. That's easily verifiable. Again, I am bold to say that Nigerians are among the biggest and confident people in the world. Infact in the eighties, there were two groups of people well respected in the UK for their abilities to give or spend...the Arabs and Nigerians. My point has been that churches are populated by people. Again, the financial abilities of the churches defer. Added to that is that there certainly is a gulf in the financial abilities of churches in both countries. However, giving is of the mind. Again is the fact that churches are able to give on the basis of their income, basically donated by people. So for me, whether they are "oyibo churches" or Nigerian churches, they generally have their legitimate sources of income, through which they are able to render such charity works. Those sources or income are centered on the people, who are either members of the church or others interested in helping the church financially. OP got me agitated when he seemed to look down on churches in Nigeria. |
uote author=obailala post=127760380]Nigerians are generous no doubt, but I wouldn't know about Nigerians being one of the best givers in the world. Regarding the subject, we're referring to Nigerian churches, not necessarily Nigerian individuals; the focus here is on the level of charity giving by Nigerian churches compared with non-Nigerian (mainly white populated) churches. Just to clarify something, the level of charity giving has absolutely nothing to do with the economy of the country. I live in the UK and have attended numerous 'oyibo' and Nigerian churches. I belong to a Nigerian church family that does a decent level of charity giving to the community every single week. But I wouldn't see 'black' and call it 'white' for the sake of patriotism.... Truth is that in general, there's absolutely no ground for comparison between the level of charity giving by oyibo churches vs. Nigerian churches. The report is also similar from several friends and family in Canada. It's also ironic that in these oyibo churches, they rarely even call for members to give, as opposed to how things are in Nigerian churches abroad.[/quote]Certainly the level of giving is dictated by what one has in his pocket/purse/account. Our economy is a great decider of the level of our spending or giving. That's easily verifiable. Again, I am bold to say that Nigerians are among the biggest and confident people in the world. aylipple:“ if not for PDP & Atiku Abubakar especially, who brought Peter Obi to national consciousness, he would've have remained in political obscurity”. What a joke! Atiku brought Peter Obi to national consciousness? You must surely be very young. |
emkz:Your comment appears out of tune with realities please. Your first paragraph leaves one wondering if you are in tune with the actions and behavior of Nigerian politicians. I want to ask if you are not aware that Nigerian politicians generally copy each other. Who says that Tinubu did not see Obi’s manifesto, copied it and went to the press with it first. Tinubu organized and coordinated strikes in 2014 to stop GEJ’s plan to end the fuel subsidy regime? The same Your Tinubu turned around to copy it and tell us that “subsidy is gone” on the first day. If LP is not the present opposition party, what’s stopping SDP, NNPP and PDP from letting us hear their voices? How is it that Obi/LP have become the major threat to APC inspite of your claim? Please read through your comment once again and make the necessary corrections, after proper study of the realities of our politics. |
Raskimonojendor:It may not be copyright. Car manufacturers share certain parts with each other, as they have the same parts coming from the same suppliers. For instance, I used to have a BMW 3 series many years ago. The same car shared parts with a Mercedes model. I only found out when the mechanic collected the same from the Mercedes mechanic and it was the same. Truly, aside from Nigeria, certain people must not come around you. They kill ideas. Go to some ministries and parastatals today with a proposal. If you are asked to drop it and come back, you just gifted someone your idea. They simply copy it and submit. They get the approvals for themselves. When you return to check, they hand over your documents to you and tell you that they were not accepted by oga. The next, you’ll find someone carrying out the job with another name. The life sometimes feels like a jungle! |
Policemen? And they did not receive salaries for three years? Is there security agency that does not pay monthly? If the Nigerian police fails to pay salaries for three months, will there be peace? How can we believe the story? |
