pocohantas: The earlier you guys understand that not so many undergraduate girls are very pro-marriage, the better for you. Once you spot that one who is very much interested in the fast life, pull the plug immediately.
Her parents told you both to come to the VILLAGE? You think if her parents had enough to be giving her, she would bother herself with you?
It is painful my dear, but your wife is in her hoe-phase. Some skip that phase, some spend few years in it, some stay a decade there- even do spillover.
You need to have some self-respect. A grown ass man following two fcking undergraduates to hear their conversation?
You guys don't hear word. You remind me of my colleague and that tin-tomatoes-headed girl he was pursuing. One small 200l girl. The way the girl did his heart ehn, she passed it through shredder.
Go find one afternoon newspaper that has her life figured out. Someone that will bring in tangible and intangible resources to the relationship. That way when she wants to throw it all away, she would think of how it would hit her own balance sheet. Nice one. You hit the nail on the head. Don't marry or go out with a lady that doesn't invest in the relationship. Often, whatisnit is a collateral. That lady obviously don't feel she has anything to lose. |

Celebrities › Re: Adekunle Gold Reacts To The New Charges Against Omoyele Sowore by CaptainFM1: 10:02pm On Sep 21, 2019 |
festacman: Good thing that celebrities with large followings are speaking up in support of Yele Sowore. More celebrity reactions are expected in the days ahead. It is all part of democracy.
However, given the level of his intelligence and exposure, I am sure that Sowore was aware of the consequences of his choice of REVOLUTION instead of OCCUPY or PROTEST MARCH. He knew the implications of his action and resisted every counsel and warning to tone it down. The truth is that he deliberately set himself up to walk this road for a reason. He knew the massive political leverage his detention and trial along with attendant publicity and international outcry will give him in 2023 elections against other candidates. "Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose".....Lyndon Johnson Revolution is an idea...It comes to fruition when its fully riped. People often suffer in advance for the gains of others. In some cases, they don't live to witness the vision when the time comes simply because their idea is "very far ahead of time". Using the word "Revolution" as a theme does not implicitly mean overthrowing a government through illegal means. I will leave that view for the lawyers! I don't think Sowore is in detention as compared to the Nigerian people. He already has his voice. Unfortunately, it may not be heard now. Its not even the government that needs to hear his voice. It is the people. Right now, the people have been caged. Government don't wan't people to come out of this prison. People have been shackled by various means...N5000 trader money, media suppression, political buyback et al. I actually believe the Nigerian people don't know what they want. Government don't want them to be emancipated. The people themselves enjoy the shackles because all they've ever known is suffering. Fela sang the same choruses to us, but we did not hear....instead we only dance. Dance..,that's what we know how to do. I'm sorry we are not ready for the Nigeria of our dream. |

IronPant: Kindly tell me where it is in the constitution or is it just another societal thing All jokes aside; If she was truly r@ped, this lady is emotionally troubled and she asks for money?! I researched r@pe on wikipedia, even in botswana, they arrest r@pists or prosecute them
NEVER have I seen a r@ped person ask for 'compensation' The case of R kelly, that afghanistan girl in 2012 or allegedly Michael J Have u heard anyone any of them asking 4 money?? I dont know if you and richdad are her brothers, but face it, she's literally telling him to pay for her services
You and Richdad should understand the word 'r@pe' b4 u come online to say it Its a dark experience not settled by cash Ok. I'm not saying she will get compensated in cash or in any other way. That's the prerogative of the court. If the parties like, they close the case with an "out of court settlement" that's their decision. We can only shout with our fingers or castigate her to the pit of hell. You need to understand that sometimes, the justice the society wants may not necessarily be what the claimant want. That's so unfair right? |
