You don't have to worry yourself. Before it even get approval as means of transportation, there will be minimum, yet rigorous safety standard it will be subjected to. What you should worry yourself with is human error when it finally does get approved. Cars have one engine, yet people still get drunk and drive into a ditch!

There's no wrath from the law if there's no official complain to the police.
