israelmao:Like I said you guys are emotional and don’t use your brains. I ask again did the debate help you? Did not going stop Tinubu from winning……simple question! If he didn’t go to the debate and it didn’t stop him from winning then he made the right call. Everything else is just noise. In elections, you are strategic, you ignore the noise, you focus on the numbers, what do I gain by attending v what do I lose by attending. If the gain is more than your loss, you stay away, if you lose by not attending you attend..it’s simple. Atiku that attended the debate, how many votes did he get in the south? You guys just complicate simple matters with emotion and that is why you are serial losers. For example, Tinubu did his calculations, how many votes do I gain or lose with a Muslim Muslim ticket and how many do I gain or lose if I pick a northern Christian. His calculations clearly revealed he will get backlash from some people but he will gain more votes and so it proved. This thing is not about emotions or noise…I keep telling you people. Why would I attend a debate at a station that is hostile to me…so that I can make my opponent look good? Why should I give you an advantage? What did he stand to gain by attending that he lost by staying away? You think Tinubu got where he is by being as daft as Obi who decimated the opposition? Do you guys not see that APC lost 7m votes compared to 2019 and still won! Instead of asking why and looking at what you did wrong you are clutching at straws. APC has no business winning this election, Obi handed victory to APC the minute he decimated the opposition. For goodness sake how daft are you people? APC got 8.7m votes, the opposition got over 14m, yet it is APC heading to Aso rock……how daft are you people? You guys effed up! APC had no business winning this election after the last 8 years but you refused to use your brains, split your votes snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, missed a once in a life time opportunity and killed the political career of both Atiku and Obi in one fell swoop…that’s all there is to it. Ow you are clutching at straws…forfeiture, 25%. Nonsense people. The ship has sailed! You had it in your hands but you threw it away because instead of engaging your brains, followers and leaders were emotional or selfish. If you 2 out of Kwakwanso, Atiku or Obi had aligned Tinubu would have lost. The man had to fight people in his own party, abi you forgot currency swap was targeted at him….and you still lost….you guys really effed up!!! Swallow pride, add Kwakwanso and Obi’s votes and you’d be president (or VP) but no ego would not let you have sense. Now you are sleeping in court! |
Toks2008:Are you not the same loser that posted this Toks2008: |
Toks2008:Again emotion not intellect, Like I said stick to giving feel good advice to mature single women, they are the ones who need ”feel good” fantasy peddlers like you who help escape into a fantasy world and the avoidance of reality. |
israelmao:Those who went for debate, how did they do? When we told you the people that watch debates are less than 10% of the population you didnt listen. Look at where tinubu's votes came from, do they watch debates there? Carry on with your emotional foolishness. The day you are ready to engage your brains is the day you start the journey to become president. All this stuff you and your principal are doing and have been doing since the beginning is just theater. Elections are a numbers game end of story, you go to where the numbers are and you dont split the opposition and expect to defeat the incumbent party...again when you are ready to engage your brains we will know, for now you are only interested in sparring and theater!!! Those whose focus was to win an election have won the election and will be sworn in. |

Whatever, that’s why he will be president and Obi will not. I remember you making brain dead posts before the election and I told you the election was won the minute the opposition was split up. You lack critical thinking abilities, stick to your domain of giving ladies with lost causes that have been left on the shelf “feel good” advice. |
israelmao:And yet he became president. Serious people avoid circuses, comedians and town criers and focus on the job at hand. That’s why he is president elect and Obi is in court. |
boldtruthalways:That’s why he has lawyers. It was Lalongthat goofed by saying he represents Tinubu. Tinubu is already represented by his lawyers. Did Obasanjo or Buhari go to court when there were petitions against them? |
Odewaleadesoye:Particularly when the opposition are relying on frivolous matters. |
RighChannel:He doesn’t have time to be dragged by imbeciles on frivolous lawsuits and nollywood court hearings wasting the courts time, he has serious matters of governance to plan. There is nothing in the law that says he has to appear in court. |
LagosFirstSon:Why? The judge did not say Tinubu must appear, the judge said A human being cannot stand in for another human being. Tinubu is already represented by his lawyers. |
NzogbuNzogbu:We know ipo. Never wins in anything |
ElRufai is going to be head of Cabal, the new Maman Daura. |
This Yari has always been a troublesome man but it is his right to contest…he will lose! |
oikirodah:The same people who said and continue to maintain Buhari is Jibril from Sudan? The same people who talk about school certificate when the law says Mimi I’m qualifications and the man has a postgraduate diploma from a prestigious American military institute? Don’t waste your time and effort, these people are irredeemable. You need to understand these are not right thinking people, they are driven by ego, they are the kind f people that must have the last say, they are braggarts, nothing you say and no common sense will silence then. Thy operate in the realm of noise, noise is their end game, their victory is to outshout their opponents, their end game is "we abused them well", so leave them to occupy the space of noise while others occupy Aso rock. The truth is it is better for them to continue to bask in noise making and throwing jabs because it means they have no mental energy left to devote to strategic thinking. The more they control the noise making, the more others control govt. It is a testament to the lack of strategic thinking by these noisemakers that despite the economic hardships faced by Nigerians over the last 8 years, they had almost 1.5 x the ruling party's votes but lost. So if you are a supporter of the ruling party, you should be encouraging them to continue in the name calling and noise making because emotional people are not good thinkers. Let us examine the actions of these people 1) in 2019 when they were part of the then opposition they collectively got 11.3m votes v the ruling party which got 15.2m. They decided the best course of action was to decimate the opposition and go it alone. In 2023, the ruling part got only 8.7m votes (losing almost 7m in the process) while the opposition together got 14.5m votes. However the ruling party retained power because the mob decided the best action was to split the opposition. Considering the state of the nation over the last 8 years it is the expected outcome that the opposition would gain votes and the ruling party would lose votes. Alas it was to the benefit again of the ruling party because they were dealing with an opposition more instead in noise than the destination. 2. Now they have lost, their defense is a forfeiture charge that the law clearly states is not relevant and does not disqualify the winner because it happened over 10 years ago, it is there clearly in the law. Clearly they are more interested in the noise and abuse and calling Tinubu a drug dealer etc that if this is actually an argument that can hold up in court or stop him becoming president. if this is the basis of their challenge in a law court, it is clear they are only interested in the publicity (noise) not overturning the election. 3. They are also hinging their case on 25% in Abuja but section 42 (1)b clearly states that you cannot pass or implement any law in such a way that is gives any citizen superiority to another citizen. So when they say Abuja is a special case, their interpretation is clearly in breach of section 42 which specifies the rights and (equality) of Citizens! 4. They talk about the eligibility of Shettima but is OBI by not being a member of LP 30 days before their primaries himself eligible? I can go on and on but you get the picture, these people are a brainless emotional mob, they dwell in emotion, noise, insults and abuse and that is tO the advantage of their opponents because their actions as illustrated above are devoid of intelligence because they are too engulfed in emotion. The longer they are emotional, the better for their opponents because emotional people make bad choices. So I say let them rain the abuses, the more they abuse , the less brain power they have for strategic thinking and the more missteps they make. These people are permanently traumatized, I say let the supporters of the ruling party endure the insults and encourage them to continue in their trauma, do not forget, but for their permanent state of trauma, they would be in power come May 29, their Trauma and their inability to engage their brains is the reason Tinubu won despite the economic hardship of the last 8 years. |
Pierced:Let them continue to fool themselves. There is no path that leads to an OBI presidency. His best opportunity was to have remained in PDP and hope Atiku picked him as VP. I said it many times on this platform well before the elections that Tinubu became president the minute OBI left PDP. |
CSTRR:Feel free to rant and rave emotionally but elections are not decided on emotions but numbers. You either have the numbers or you don’t. How many votes did he get in Borneo, Bauchi, sokoto, zamfara, Kano, kaduna, kebbi, yobe, katsina, Kwara, Gombe, Jigawa, etc because these are the states where Atiku will floor him in a rerun. |
LivingSage:North central has been pencillled for SGF. Let’s not forget they also occupy party chairmanship. |
CSTRR:And 6.7m voted for Atiku and he got 25% in more states than OBI. When you call people clowns please look 1st in the mirror. All you people saying OBI is coming OBI is coming, let us even indulge you and say Tinubu is eventually disqualified, how does that propel 3rd to 1st? What of the person in second place? If Tinubu is disqualified, the next person is Atiku, since they are not contesting Atiku’s qualification or votes. The other scenario is since neither of them met the requirements of 25% in 24 states, a rerun is decided. The rerun will either be between Tinubu and Atiku or If Tinubu is disqualified outright between Atiku and OBI. OBI will never get Northern votes, so the president can never be OBI. The forfeiture is just grandstanding because it is over 10 yrs, I don’t know how the Supreme Court will interprete the 25% in Abuja or Shettima’s eligibility. The one thing that is certain is that there is no scenario where OBI becomes president. There is no path to an OBI presidency! The irony of shettima’s eligibility is that if It is found that shettima was ineligible then OBI is also ineligible because he wasn’t a member of the Llp 30 days before the LP primaries. As for Abuja, there is a fundamental principle in the constitutionthat all Nigerians are equal, therefore Abuja residents cannot enjoy any special status. It is a breach of the fundamental rights of other Nigerians for FCT votes to have more weight than that of a man in a Akure, onitsha or Zaria. Whatever the eventual outcome of these appeals, the eventual president will either be Tinubu or Atiku. PS: Regarding 25% of FCT, feel free to read section 42 (1) b of the constitution, Where it states explicitly that no citizen be accorded either expressly by, or in the practical application of, any law in force in Nigeria or any such executive or administrative action, any privilege or advantage that is not accorded to citizens of Nigeria of other communities, ethnic groups, places of origin, sex, religions or political opinions.. I think that settles the issue of special status or not of FCT. |
Let us also not forget that it is this same Ekweremadu that conspired with Saraki to hijack the senate in the 1st act of the Buhari administration resulting in him emerging as DSP. Karma is a bitch. |
Ahmed0336:Of all the positions, senate leader is probably the one where loyalty as a party man is most required. Whereas SP is leader of the whole house, senate leader is the leader of the Party caucus in the senate. It is not a position for someone whose loyalty and commitment to the party is shaky. In fact I just read that he is suspended for anti-party activities and the suspension was ratified by SE chapter of APC yesterday . https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/05/apc-ratifies-suspension-of-ken-nnamani-orji-kalu-onyeama-others/ |
Ahmed0336:I doubt. Somebody that wasn’t present at presidential rallies, that did not deliver votes, that wasn’t present when everybody who is anybody was in Portharcourt. The slot of Abia and the SE which Kalu would have taken has been given to Benjamin Kalu as deputy speaker. Benjamin Kalu is now more important than Uzor. |
Noblegraphix20:Benjamin Kalu of Abia state has been penciled down as deputy speaker. |
Ofunaofu:Una just begin, I thought 8 years of wailing would have bought you some sense. |
This is a test case, no leniency, He will serve his sentence fully. Listening to the judge, it appears it is not the 1st time the doctor has used someone for a transplant. The judge mentioned that “you forged an affidavit just as you did for your transplant” |
It can never happen. Nigerians don’t understand how big trafficking is for the British. Charles will not start his reign by antagonizing the British public, it is not as if he is popular with his people but benefitting from the goodwill towards his mother. William is the one the people love and are waiting to be King. He has the power but he will not grant any pardon to Ekweremadu. Ekweremadu is the 1st person to be convicted of human trafficking under the new law, it is bad optics for Charles to pardon him …it sets his reign on a bad footing. |
Is it me or is Buhari looking emaciated again? |

One day ibos will learn that politics is very simple 1. your relevance is established by your ability to deliver votes (K. Shettima) 2. You harvest what you sow, 3. Minority cannot dictate to the majority 4. Trust is very important in politics. |
Who is this person? |
helinues:Umami understands politics in the way no ibo politician seems to. He is a future SP, VP in 2031 and even president in 2039. He is certainly the no1 ibo man in govt today, a future star. Kalu messed up, you don’t do loyalty half way, you are either loyal all the way or you don’t bother. |
Christistruth02:I hope people can see why Abike quickly wrote letter, she knows the people she is dealing with. |
Umahi should play his cards right and not snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like kalu. Ordinarily kalu should be SP but the Ibo mentality of "if I dont get it, you wont get it" in him betrayed him, not only did he contest against Tinubu but when he stepped down, he pitched his tent with lawan. In 8 years it will be the time of the North and if Umahi plays his cards right, as the most high profile Ibo in the APC, he will either become VP or SP. You have to show loyalty 1st and when it is your turn others will fight your fight for you. i love this 2023 election season, it shows the virtues of loyatly and patience and the downsides of treachery and betrayal, impatience and disloyalty. Those who were disloyal, impatient or dishonorable (osinbajo, Kalu, Atiku, Obi, bashir lawal, cabal etc etc) lost out and those who have been loyal, patient or chose the path of honor have been elevated. (tinubu, Akpabio, Wike, El Rufai etc) Special mention to the Northern governors. their role in fostering the unity of Nigeria will not be forgotten. |
Akinsete19:it will be the turn of the North |
