I repeat, I am all for punishment for people who disrupt elections but when we do things like this, report to western powers, celebrate sanctions without trial, we do 2 things...we reinforce our inferiority complex and our imperial enslavement.
We will never be a great country with this mindset. America is a bleeped up place, its not a the America it used to be. I personally dont care if I never visit there again in my life....and I dont need a visa to go to America. |

Nobody would mention Abuja after if 25% of Abuja votes is not also a requirement for a presidential candidate. Little wonder they said Tinubu supporters are senseless. More of senselessness in their support for a globally celebrated drug trafficking offender to become president of a country in the 21st century. Where is it done elsewhere? And much more senseless support for president, the old, frail, octogenarian Tinubu who forged Affidavit of age 71, and obviously suffers dementia with ocassional speech defects, shuffling gait, wears diapers and catheter, moves from one hospital bed to the other in Europe. onuman: The moroon is imposing his interpretation of another section of Nigeria's Constitution upon another; aimed to delete the clearly stated wordings of Section 234 (2) (a) and (b) of the same Constitution that states; a candidate must (a) have the highest number of votes cast at the election; and (b) have not less than 25% of votes cast in two-third of all the States in the Federation and the FCT before he can be declared as president.
If we apply your quoted section of the constitution regarding restrictions of advantages of other sections or groups, etc, in Nigeria through the rights enjoyed by other sections, or groups, etc., in Nigeria; it then implies that since, for example, Tinubu did not win Kano state, he cannot be made president of Nigeria even if he won 24 states and highest number of votes, because citizens of say, Maiduguri or Oyo state, where Tinubu won, are enjoying the advantages of having the Tinubu they supported presiding over Nigeria; while Kano which didn't support Tinubu remains disadvantaged.
Listen: if I want 24 Femis and Abdul, if I am sent 24 Femis but no Abdul, my demand has not been met. The Constitution is as clear as crystal on the 25% requirement for Abuja federal capital territory where the president is also meant to administer. Who administers a territory he is not welcome? I just read your second paragraph. Like I said your postings show with every post that yo7 are devoid of brain cells so I don’t read in full because you are bound to type utter tripe. You example shows you are a notwit, an imbecil3 and lack any grey matter. You have unwittingly with your example proven why 25% in Abuja cannot fly. If the man in Kano does not have the privilege that you and your merry band of idiots. Cla8m the FCT voter enjoys, then the FCT resident had a privilege merely by his place of residence which is a breach of the rights of other. Iberians. If you had any brains you would have realized that if your interpretation is right then even Obi cannot be declared president because he did not win Kano. What makes the FCT resident to special that a president must get 25% in FCT but does not need it in Kano? If you had any working brain cells left, somewhere while typing it would have occurred to you that it makes no sense otherwise everybody would register to vote in FCT and certainly parties would encourage their supporters to register to vote in the FCT. Like I said, you people are too emotional to be sensible. |

You cannot implement ANY LAW in such a way that it denies or grants privileges to any citizen of Nigeria that other do not enjoy. Including the section you have just quoted. If there is ambiguity, section 42 wins because Section 42 because equality is a fundamental right of all Nigerian citizens. Although there is no such law that says a candidate MUST win 25% of FCT just your biased emotional interpretation, Section 42 clearly says it cannot be implemented as it is a breach of citizens fundamental rights. That is the essence of section 42. It says clearly even if such a law exists, it cannot be implemented. The idea that anyone even thinks that somehow someone can win 36 states and not become president because he didn’t score 25% can only appeal to people without brain cells, emotional morons and obiidiots. onuman: Loud mouth and insulting epithets don't win you argument.
Tinubu Muslim-Muslim ticket started religious bigotry in political campaign.
Tinubu's hire of fake Christian Bishops was religious bigotry. Tinubu's badmouthing that labourers shall Labour in vain was a despicable speech; more like a blasphemy than campaign because Tinubu is not God. Tinubu's it's his turn declaration was like he spit on the face of the Igbo whose turn it's to present a successor to President Buhari. Obi's visit to a Christian Evangelical Bishop in Lagos was turned to religious bigotry by loudmouths.
In your political calculus the Ijaws you nicknamed their wife as Sheptototamus, nicknamed Ijaw born president as clueless and ogogoro drinker, are now more intelligent, better positioned than the Igbo, and more positioned to win presidential election in Nigeria before the Igbo.
But why do you Tinubu people ignore Atiku with his supporters assigned 2nd position on the presenditial election, but face denigration of Obi and the Igbo, at times, denigrate also the non Igbo Obidients? You mean, all these blackmail and propaganda of falsehood of APC/Tinubu people against Obi and the Igbo is a clear sign of your fears and knowledge that Peter Obi won the presidential election? You still don’t get it, elections are about numbers. If a Muslim Muslim ticket is what it takes to win an election, then that’s what Tinubunwill field. You made it about religion and it backfired on you. Those who made it about religion, tribe and divisive politics lost Osinbajo tried to make it about religion….he lost, obi played the religious and tribal card he lost. Tinubus decision was a strategic decision, interestingly those who did not play the religion car (despite what you claim) came 1st and 2nd, those who played the religious card Osinbajo and Obi, either came 3rd in their primaries or the actual election. The day I hear Obidients admit that they would have won if they had made some compromises and aligned with either Kwakwanso or Atiku is the day I know they are a serious party, until then they are effectively the new APGA and will score less in 2027 because Tinubu will be better than Buhari, youths will not be so naive, moderates will flee Obi because of his unstatesmanlikelike behavior and 4 years of Tinubu will remove the Religious fear promoted by Obi. The only people left will be predominantly the ibos. Once in a lifetime opportunity and he blew it, come 2031 power returns to the North. |

onuman: In bold: you wrote that you agree with me that APC has no right winning this presidential election.
But you know full well, deep inside your mind, that APC did not win the presidential election.
Ask yourself the salient question: why did INEC midway into the election purportedly lost its electronic systems for transmission of vote results of the presidential election, but still transmismitted the National Assembly results using the same transmission system?
Are we all fools that can be told the story of computer suddenly deveoped a glitch not induced by a human being, and we agree?
I am not writing because Obi or Atiku is affiliated to me as you alleged, I write because if this 2023 presidential election robbery is allowed for APC, in future, you, or someone you are affiliated to, can become a victim of worse of this year's INEC'S weird, brazen and most primitive style of stealing election. Think about how voters can accept to go out in future to vote if this fraud of presidential election of 2023 is ratified.
By the way; when your computer gets a glitch, whatever it processes is most likely to turn out erratic. You are bound to stop further job with the computer, get it rebooted or repaired, but you cannot resort to use of typewritter to do the job, knowing full well that those for whom the job was ordered will not accept a job not elaborated or processed by a computer software meant for the job. So why would any judge accept the result of the presidential election done out of order? How daft are you…serious question? When I say APC had no right to win, I mean based on the last 8 years if the opposition had stayed together APC would have lost. You morons don’t seems to realize you lost this election because you split up.. end of story, I didn’t bother to read beyond the bold part because it is clear you are still not ready to engage your brains, take responsibility for your mistakes and still looking for anyone or any excuse but your failures. If Buhari can make himself president with only Northern votes, why did he failed for almost 3 times until the 4th he met Bola Tinubu? Don’t mind these fools, they are an emotional mob who do not understand the basics of elections…..arithmetic! Numbers! ….and that’s why they always lose, that’s why they think they can split and opposition and defeat an incumbent. The slowpoke is talking about 2.4m votes from SW shows he doesn’t understand the mathematics of elections. if he understood, he would know that those votes went to Jonathan in 2011 and every vote taken from an opponent actually has the effect of 2 votes. So it’s 2.4 away from Jonathan and 2.4 added to Buhari, that’s why Buhari won in 2011…a net addition of 4.8m votes. |

But you fly your deceptive kite in Obi and Wike leaving PDP as cause for your most despicable political party, APC, to have won. The same APC which impoverished Nigerians; and in the 2023 presidential election, presented a presidential candidate with a bent back also weighed down with full negative baggages. Who did you think voted APC during the last presidential election? Perhaps a few of your sort blinded by ethnic or religious bigotry. I agree with you that APC has no right winning this election but you shot yourselves in the foot by splitting up. If you had any brain cells that would point to the monumental opportunity you just threw away. That’s your problem you deal in emotions not strategic thinking. The same emotion that won’t let you admit where you messed up, the same emotion that has taken you to challenge an election that you cannot win ( and will lose Obi many supporters for not being statesmanlike, the same emotion you will take to the next election and lose. You never learn, PDP never learns, so long as you are a product of PDP you will never learn and will always lose. Tambuwal warned the PDP to use Tinubus strategy of 2015 instead you split up…..the leopard could not change its spots. The same emotion and no brain cells you are exhibiting now. Elections are really very simple, elections are a numbers game. You line up the contestants and you count how many people line up behind them. If you don’t have enough, you split the opposition or you form aliances…simple! Everything else is just emotion and noise! No matter how good you claim to be or how bad your opponent is if you don’t have enough people lining up behind you and he has more than you, you lose…..simple! The problem for you is that you are emotional fantasists going up against a very pragmatic experienced realist. The realist will be sworn in while the fantasists will waste more of their time in court. Finally, it’s laughable to accuse APC of bigotry and tribalism, when your whole campaign was based on religious and ethnic bigotry, that’s one reason you lost. Was Atiku also based on bigotry because last time I checked you lost to him also. This is the reason you will never be president, Nigerians can see through you, you are not only dumb and unstrategic, you are religious and ethnic bigots and opportunists. onuman: Tinubu; Atiku and Kwankwaso shared the votes of people of your mindset who don't choose leaders by merit but by your religious or ethnic conviction. That pattern of sharing votes between the trio mentioned above led to Obi winning by a wide margin of votes. Even a kid would tell you the above facts. But on seeing that Obi was giving wide votes gap ahead of the trio, APC'S devilish agents planted in INEC DISABLED THE SYSTEMS FOR ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF VOTES RESULTS FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION; but forgot to also disable the system for electronic transmission of vote results for the National Assembly that was using the same transmission system as the presidential election. Did Mahmood Yakubu not VOW in November 2022 that no other system except electronic transmission of vote results from the BVAS to INEC server must be used for the 2023 presidential election? The same Mahmood told us that his systems had computer glitch on the presidential election side after his manipulation of presidential election results to make Tinubu win. COMPUTER GLITCH? Computer glitch cannot be excuse to give a country a president through a computer glitch. You can be abusive as much as you want, but facts of the presidential election heist are glaring. You people are not ready to win any election, not only will you lose this appeal, you will lose again in 2027. APC is taking stock of where they went wrong because they know they should have lost if not for the ineptitude of the opposition, you are busy blaming others for your ineptitude. Below are my posts from feb 24, 2023 and Nov 2022 the day before the election, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see APC we’re going to win no matter what.I have been saying exactly what played out since May 2022. My message for the last year has been consistent, an opposition cannot divide itself and win an election. You guys decided to play the ostrich, be emotional and delude yourselves. casualobserver: you are delusional. Almost all the Obi supporters you see are ex PDP suporters. APC supporters are largely intact so all that will happen is some of Atiku's supporters are porting to Obi. It is the same thing playing out nationally that will play out in FCT. People who voted for APC last time are not voting for Obi. get that into your skull!!!
Do a random survey amiongst Obi supporters you know and ask who they voted for last time if they voted and 90% will tell you Atiku. You guys dont understand basic mathematics!!! Obi is the reason Tinubu will become president because he has canibalised the vote of the only person that could stop Tinubu........Atiku.
Kwakwanso and Obi voters were part of the 10m votes Atiku got in 2019, APC got 14m. You cannot remove Kwakwanso and Obi from that 10m which was less than APC to start with and expect to defeat APC....basic math!!!!
Let us assume kwakwanso accounts for 2m votes of the 10m, even if the remaining PDP 2019 votes are shared 4m each between Obi and Atiku, it means they have to find 10 million additional NEW voters to catch APC, Even if Apc Loses some of it's 14m votes from 2019 (lets say 3m) Atiku and Obi have to find 7m new votes ....na so them dey find votes? na beans? the total number of new voter registrations was only 11m and that is shared amongst all parties. Nov 2022 casualobserver: Bottom line is without G5 Atiku cannot win, he won’t win with them anyway ( I still maintain the election was lost the minute Obi left PDP) but definitely he can’t win without them.
So maybe Atiku knows he cannot win so no point meeting Wike’s demands but the bottom Line is Wike will not stand down because this is a matter of ego. The worst battle to have with a man is one involving ego. A man driven by ego will scatter everything for everybody!! casualobserver: I don’t need to campaign. Tinubu has already won. I am so confident, I can even tell you the stupidity of your decision to vote Obi even before you do.
For the umpteenth time. Tinubu became president the day Obi left PDP and joined Labour.
The irony of all you Obidients is that you are the ones who will make Tinubu president!!!’ May 2022 casualobserver: before Obi left, If PDP were to win, at best, i.e via a miracle they would win by 55%-45%....thats like a landslide which was never going to happen! However by leaving and contesting under another party, Obi has removed his supporter's votes from the PDP column as they will vote for him in the new party.... since Obi's resignation has no effect on APC votes and PDP and OBi's new party will have to share the 55% the net result is canibalise PDP votes and to hand victory to APC. June 2022 casualobserver: The worst thing to happen to Obi's political career was leaving PDP. Now he is in a fix, he cant win with Labour because no matter how many voyes he manages to get from Ibos and youths, he will never get constitutional requirement of 25 percent of the votes in 24 states and unfortunately he has gained so much momentum and followership that he cant back down. Oct 2022 casualobserver: It is too late, I have said it many times Atiku lost the day Ibi declared for president and Tinubu won the day he clinched the APC ticket! Elections are not about emotions, they are about numbers. Elections are about arithmetic, elections are about counting votes. Once you split a voter base (I.e PDP) without damaging your opponent (APC) you’ve already lost before the race starts!!!
You can’t take 15m v 11m from 2019, split the 11m PDP votes into say 7m/4m or 6m/5m. No matter how many new votes you are able to add, your 7m6m5m or 4m left over from the split can never catch the person who started with 15m even if he loses 3m votes from his 15m. Total new registrations are 8m, nobody will have more than 50% of those. Even if 50% of new registrations I.e 4m are for the person with the highest number of votes after splitting PDP votes I.e +7m, your 11m will not catch Tinubu even if he loses 3m from the 2019 votes and does not add a single vote from the new registrations!!!! |

Yet, APC tries to bend the minds of people, through its roforofo arguments over which zones shall lead the National Assembly, but without knowing which zones the President and Vice shall emerge from.

In the USA, our model presidential democracy, irrespective of who emerges President, the Speaker and Senate leader is always occupied by the leaders of the majority party Caucus. This is why I disagree with you. You are just being pedantic. Every president wants to have a say in who leads the house because that affects the ability or otherwise to pursue his agenda. |

I expect a lot of power outages caused by Obidients hugging transformers up and down the country. |

TonyeBarcanista: He isn't wrong bro. In the USA, the Speaker and Senate Leader (Since the VP is the Senate President) is usually the most ranked member of the majority party. I don’t see the point in your post or the relevance to what I posted, I said the president influences who becomes speaker. I didn’t mention anything about who is most highly ranked. My point was that despite the separation of powers the president influences the legislature and appoints the supreme court justices. |

God1000: Only in Nigeria, the executive isn't supposed to get involved with the NASS elections.
It's not good for our democracy
The three arms of government should function independently and act as checks and balances on each other The executive often influences who becomes speaker in the USA and the president appoints the Chief Justice. So don’t take these things literally. |

hush15: But the law never says 25% percent of the votes of people living in Abuja. It simply says FCT. It's a status requirement. Just like you passing waec with passing maths or english, all subjects are equally important but for you to gain admission, you can't but pass those two. It's not about who is writing it. This thing is simple English. Jus5 don’t be surprised when the Supreme Court tells you Abuja vote is equal to other votes and cannot have more importance or privilege than other residents in determining the president. |

jerk: stop making caricature of yourself. Why would you be interpreting the constitution upside down because you want the goal post shift to favour your president select. You obidients have a habit f accusing people of doing exactly what you are doing. I am simply telling you that the fundamental human rights of every Nigerian is guaranteed in section 42 states that you cannot apply a law in such a way as to give a community a privilege or advantage that another community does not enjoy. It is there is plain English. The FCT vote cannot be a veto vote if the vote in other communities cannot veto a candidate. It’s simple English. Free to read section 42 as many times as you need. |

bdon123: FCT is a special .FCT minister is not elected bt appointed. Whether we like it or not...it had special status It’s residents are not special…that is the point. Aso rock is a special place but the occupants are like every other Nigerian. Governors lodge in very state is a special place but the people who live there are not above the law because they live in the governors lodge, their votes do not carry any special power because they reside in the governor’s lodge. |

hush15: The Status isn't about the indigenous, it's about the territory. There is a reason why it is called the Federal Capital Territory in the first place. There is a reason it doesn't have commissioners but ministers. There is a reason why it didn't have governor but a President. The status of FCT is unquestionable because even all the Governors that report there knows its the power house of the new Nigeriaand not in the same pedestal as their states. FCT is not another accidental state but a careful mapped out territory with a proper masterplan that has been religiously followed. So, again, it is not about the people there that vote but the status of the territory where the votes were cast.
How can you be a president and not win the required margin for that territory, you will be rough on the place. You will be governing in hostility of the place.you are president and the people literally around you there don't even like you, paying eye or lip service.... I am simply telling you what the law says. It is a question of fundamental human rights of the Nigerian citizen. All citizens are equal, no citizen’s vote can have more weight than another citizen simply because of where he resides. No law can be implemented in such away as it goves one citizen advantage or privilege over e other. It is not my opinion, That’s what the law says. |

bdon123: Nonsense argument.its not abt emotion or feelings. Its all about English. Wat is d meaning of and? There goes ur answer and the same English says no law in Nigeria can confer on any citizen special advantage or priviledges over another simply by being a member of a community. Therefore any law that makes a resident of FCT special is invalid. |
