I doubt if that's the case. Had the attack not happened, this vehicle will still carry the US consulate representative from the airport. US won't be that unwise, not as if they're trying to save money.
Did some research, the car was likely properly armed even to ak47 and above but for some reason it was breached. A possible explanation is the door frames were protected with Kevlar instead of old school steel and the reason why there are no visible remains on the doors is that Kevlar burns at 800 degrees f and a car fire can reach up to 1500 degrees f.

So I stand corrected on the observation on the doors.

It is worrisome that they managed to breach an armored vehicle. Possibly they are using armor piercing bullets or thre was a lapse by the driver or a passenger that granted then access. You know we Nigerians don’t follow procedure and maybe because the oyinbosnwerent there somebody betrayed his Nigerianess.

If the reinforced frames I arrowed in the picture below is made of Kevlar and not steel it may explain why it disintegrated after the fire.

It's either they stopped or the driver was driving with windows down. You know an armored vehicle's window can retract to a little distance.

But if indeed that vehicle was shot through. Then that's a very big concern that will reach the highest levels in the US. It means that government vehicles are not safe and hundreds of embassy vehicles will need replacement.
The only other explanation is that it was a lightly armored vehicle (B4 hand pistols) though I don’t understand how a full size truck that can take the weight would not be armored to at least ak47 level. Or why you would deploy a B4 in a country were gun attacks are ak47 and above.b6/b7. Those door frames do not look b6/b7 or above.

I stand to be corrected.

Obi will not condemn this atrocities against the innocent occupants of the vehicles because his people were involved. All I know is that, every day for the thief, one day for the owners. Nemesis will surely catch up with the ESN,IPOB and their collaborators. Let them continue in their barbaric killing spree!

the Kevlar is usually placed behind the door frame. You cannot say definitively that there was none at all. It is not clear from the picture.

Also is there any such thing as a half armored vehicle?
I am bewildered ni o. I can see the armoring and steel reinforcements on the rear but I cannot see anything for the front and rear doors. I can understand the windows melting in the fire but not steel. Even on the door frames you should be able to see steel reinforcements.

A bullet proof car should give a driver enough time to escape, the only way I can see them ambushing him is if he was disabled by bullets in which case maybe the protection for the occupants was inadequate and looking at the doors it appears so.

Oga I’ve never heard of this before, clearly the car is supposed to be bullet proof but look at those doors, look at the picture with just the right front door especially, that door does not look like a BP door fire or no fire. I saw a video from a dash cam recently where a South African driver was under continuos fire in an armored truck. Upon all the bullets they escaped. I will try and find the video

Had it been you know how armored vehicles are made, you would have no problem spotting that it was an armored vehicle.
If you know how armored cars are made you will notice the sides were not armored. There is no armored plating on the side doors only rear windows where you can see the shell.

What manner of fake bullet proof SUV is this? You can see from the back and rear windows that it is supposed to be bullet proof but you can see there is no armor on the doors. No wonder they were shot. I’m sure they wouldn’t use this sort of vehicle if a US citizen was inside.

Americans and IPOB are devils.

In his over 20 years in the party, what has he brought to the party? At least the person that came to the party less than a year has brought joy and blessings into the party. At least through Obi many posts that had never been won by the party, they now have them. Through him, LP won in south east, south South, south west, north central and north west. What has his over 20 years brought to the party?
thats not the point. You people just expose yourselves everyday to be hypocrites. I thought you said you support Obi because he is different because he represents change, because he supposedly follows the rule of law? This man is the authentic LP deputy national chairman, a court has suspended the national chairman and appointed him the acting national chairman. until that order is vacated, he is the acting national chairman. for Obi not to recognise the order of a court makes him a hypocrite, for his followers not to recognise that shows you are hypocrites and there is nothing new about LP and Obidients just another set of criminals and looters. So what if he has brought glory to Lp does that mean he is above the rules and regulations, above the law? Even PDP serial lawless party have obeted the court oeder suspending Ayi and it was the acting national chairman that attended court with Atiku despite the fact that Ayu is a key Atiku man.

I know i am wasting my time with you people because if you were truthful like others you would have seen through peter Obi and the Obidient movement that this is nothing but opportunism. like I said everywhere Obi has been APGA, PDP and now LP all he does is cause friction and disharmony and he later abandons them. He is not a leader, he is not a unifier, he is an opportunist. if he were a leader he would have found a way to reconcile the factions, he certainly wouldnt say i dont know him..for God's sake, how do you say you dont know your party's only deputy national Chairmanhuh?? there were only 2 and 1 resigned.....who does that?

so basically what you are saying is LP and Obi should not obey the constitution of the party or obey court orders because he helpeed transform LP? shame on you. when we say you people will expose yourselves, this is it. the people that followed you thinking you were different are watching. continue and in the end Lp will end up being nothing but the new APGA an IBO party and even Obi will return to PDP. in his heart that is where he belongs, that is the lawlessness he knows.

U are just quoting ideal scenario.....Which values will parent teach children of nowadays that will prevent them from fvcking around??

Greed is everywhere, pórn is everywhere, even movies and music videos makes fvcking around look cool......parents cant lock their kids at home....imagine 12 year olds of chrisland school the other having 3 or 4some...na parents teach them that one??..

The day i saw young girls call themselves "badbitch"......i realize just how strong social media influence is.......
let me say this to you. As a teenager I was a bit rebellious but when i look at my life today, I realize that I am guided by the things my parents told me, what I saw, the values and examples they set. No matter how rebelious I was, I never got into drugs or impregnated any woman etc. Today, now that I have matured I realise that it is those values that guid my actions. What I realised is that children are smarter than we give them credit for and even though they may rebel, they dont forget. The mistake is to think you are fighting a losing battle in the world of today and dont do your job as a parent.

You are right, its hard parenting in today's world of social media, sexual promiscuity, drugs, materialism etc but your job as a parent is tokeep on emphasising your values...trust me it is not wasted.

you talk about 13yr old kids watching porn. when i was young, there were some houses where we could hang out and do stuff, very often you'll find even if the parents were together, they were often homes where the father was absent for long periods, travel work etc. They were the cool kids because we could hang out at their houses and be free. But guess what, when I look at the majority of my friends who have fallen by the wayside or not lived up to their potential, or even died from drugs, the majority come from such backgrounds...a home where things were too lax. in those days single moms were rare, now Imagine a home where there is no father to begin with and the kind of nonsense and laxity that will be happening in such homes, in order to compensate for an absent father...... these are the kids that influence other children with porn etc.

Its an unavoidable aspect of raising children in today's world but you have to stand your ground because you know better and not admit defeat. if a child from a baby mama is wayward, it is expected...what is the excuse of the child of 2 parent home....that you gave up and allowed fatherless children to influence how you raise your child? The world is tough, it is tougher when you surrender to the influence of baby mamas and their children.

In my house they know no sleepover unless I not my wife speaks to the father, no mother to mother business, thank god my wife is on the same page with me on single mothers. Anytime i see them with a new friend I ask who is your father and what does he do. It was a subtle way of letting my children know that if you dont have a father you are not welcome around my children and now they know without me expressly saying it.

the problem with many parents nowadays is they forget their role is to mould children not to be nice or agreeable. Your children are not your friends. the more they get away with nonsense or lack of boundaries/rules etc or the more they get what they want as children, the more damaged they will be later in life.
Politics › Re: Speakership: Doguwa, Olawuyi & Yelleman Step Down For Tajudeen Abbas by casualobserver:
This is what happens when you have a real political maestro…the Jagaban running things. Ob1diot cannot even settle matters in his small party fighting in court and he wants to run a country. Everywhere he has been he has always fought be it APGA, PDP or LP.

See how Tinubu settled Abe and Wike, see how Akpapio settled George Akume and Gemade yesterday. See how Tinubu asked people like Umahi and Ndume to step down and they are leading the campaign for Akpabio. Does obi have that kind of respect? He can’t have when his while political career is littered with betrayal, fighting and abandonment.

Just look at the Lamidi Apapa affair, if Obi were a true leader he would have asked Lamidi a democratically elected deputy national chairman to please and a court sanctioned acting chairman to settle with Abure, in fact he would have stepped in before the matter got to court. Instead he is blanking him, saying he doesn’t know him, picking sides, why wouldn’t there be friction in LP? See them now making fools of themselves. These are not the hallmarks of a leader.

Obi is divisive, he divided APGA, PDP and now he is dividing LP. Asiwaju on the other hand is a real unifier. When you are a true leader, a true unifier, people bend over backwards to accommodate your requests. As KWAM1 says in his song, it is the person God loves that people love.

Stupid parenting
its amazing no one seems to understand that this is the root of the epidemic and the more single mothers there are the worse it will become. if you come from a 2 parent stable home, it is more difficult for you to willingly to be a single mother or have a child outside as a man. What we see at home and out circle of influence becomes our boundaries. Personally I dont let my children hang out with children of single mothers, ofcourse i cant do anything when they are in school but i dont allow my children to visit the home of a friend i know is the child of a single mother and certainly no sleep overs.

The job of a parent is to set a value system and mould your children. It is difficult for you to set boundaries and values when they look at you and your life and it doesn’t tally with what you are saying. Children learn more from what they see and experience than what you say. If you don’t have a husband, how can you tell your child not to be a single mother? If you have children outside of the home how can you tell your sons not to? Even if you did they won’t listen to you. How can you train a girl to be a wife, keep a happy home when she never witnessed it growing up? How can you train a boy to be a man when he has no reference point having never witnessed a father in a home setting?

Those of you from secure 2 parent homes with stable marriages , keep your children away from the influence of children of single mothers, they will damage them and undo all your work.

They do not have what it takes to be in the hot seat. Just look at someone like Sowore, no one is more qualified or immersed in the "struggle", he has been in opposition to govt since his days in the student's Union, serially contesting and always losing. he should be the one benefiting from the Obidient movement but instead he is worse off that he ever was as even those who once believed in him dont take him seriously anymore. it is the same with you guys, you will always be in opposition, permanently wailing and abusing, thats where you belong, you diont have what it takes. You dont have the mentality of people in power, you have the mindset of losers and quite frankly the country is better for it. LP has been in existence for 20 years. LP existed before Obi joined. How did he become deputy chairman? Are you disputing that he is the legitimate deputy national chairman elected at the INEC monitored national convention? You hijacked their party, they existed as a bunch of unknowns before you hijacked it but they existed and have existed for 21 years.

There are parties all over Nigeria full of people like Lamidi Apapa, they contest elections and they lose all the time, you don’t know of them because they are fringe parties. The good will a governor will get from tackling Agberos and bus drivers is more than any votes the NURTW have any power to influence these days.

The courts in Nigeria are all for sale, In Nigeria Ekweremadu will never go to prison, in Nigeria Wike will never go to prison, in Nigeria MC Oluomo will never go to prison. Etc..
Now tell how you get justice if you are depending on Nigerians justice system.
America have the right to decide who goes out of their country and who comes into their country. They don't need any Court to do that, not especially from Nigeria where justice is for the highest bidder.
You are not intelligent enough for this conversation. Clearly just another half educated zombie.

2 wrongs do not make a right. In case you lack comprehension as most Nigerians note the word “wrong”. Because someone steals and the local police don’t do anything doesn’t give me the right to shoot he person. Ekweremadu got a fair hearing before he was sentenced. These idiots called America are not practicing what they are preaching. If a governor or president arrested someone tomorrow and locked them up without a trial, it’s these morons and hypocrites that will be talking about civil rights, human rights, right to fair trial etc. I am not saying the people they banned are guilty or not guilty, but who are they to pronounce guilt without a trial? It doesn’t matter who it is, they should practice what they preach. Clearly you do not understand how insulting it is to you as a Nigerian.

Finally, no matter the issues in Nigeria, every time you carry your family business to an outsider or an outsider intervenes in your family squabbles, reporting your father to his friends, reporting your mother to her friends, exposing family business to strangers to intervene, all you are doing is tarnishing the image of your family, in this case your country. The day you will understand the implication is when it comes time to marr6 and no one wants to marry you because of your family, meanwhile the people looking down on you have more problems but they don’t carry their family business to outsiders so no one knows.

What the US just did is an indication of how Nigeria is perceived. NO Brit, French or German citizen will be banned for the same allegations until convicted and before you say their Justice system works, it’s not about whether a Justice system works or not. It’s about the respect they have for your country and how you are regarded or not.
