JuanDeDios:yes. The thing is many Nigerians think they are smart but they really arent. Buhari ignores the noise and does what he wants to do, he has achieved what he wants to acheive and like it or not, he will leave the most enduring legacies of any president since 1999. What are the legacies of obasanjo, Yaradua and GEJ that will endure in 10, 20 or 30 years? List them for me and I will give you a whole list of Buharies legacies that will endure for the next 30.40.50 years. Like him or not (i never voted for him) the guy has done more for Nigeria that anyone since 1999. Yes he bleeped up big time in certain aspects like insecurity and economy but like I always say those are short term issues that are reversible. |
Buhari is smart (contrary to what many think) thats why he sent Osinbajo. Though I would have sent the minister of foreign affairs. Nothing wrong with cramming leaders in a bus due to logistics so long as ALL leaders are made to comply. They have been planning the funeral of the queen for tears so they knew all along |
WeLive:After 7 years and 4 months you want to remove him 8 months to the end of his tenure? ....and you think that is a smart thing to say? Buhari has many failings but he has done more for Nigeria than any government since 1999. His biggest failure is his mismanagement of insecurity and subsidy/forex but these are short term issues that can be fixed quickly, what Buhari has done for this country in terms of long term benefits will remain for decades to come, I cannot say that about ANY president before him since 1999. The biggest test/legacy of any government are the things that the people will benefit or suffer from 10/20/30 years later not something you enjoy or suffer for 4/8 years and the next government can undo like the case with many of the previous presidents. No matter how bad the next government, they cant take away lagos ibadan rail. express way, 2nd Niger bridge, electoral reforms, oworinsoki express way, etc etc etc.All the "enjoyment" of GEJ government for example did not outlast his administration meaning they were not enduring legacies. |
tishbite42: 22o62021:hence Buhari sent Osinbajo |
obi4eze:Leave them let them win at fashion since we know they can’t win on the field |
This is an old interview. At the time IBB made the interview Tinubu was still in his 60s and Osinbajo was an Option |
traffic standstill along the lekki corridor begins today. |
Emyogalanya:I’m sure they published previous data but you weren’t paying attention. If there is one thing this country is gradually getting g right it is INEC. Everyone knows it is getting harder and harder to rig via the actual ballot. |
Emyogalanya:But you acknowledge they have woken up to duty? |
Focusmind:I registered in Lagos and I registered in Jos, or I registered in 2 different polling booths in the same town, which one will INEC validate? Mind you this is not a case of I registered in 2015 and I registered again in 2022….no! I registered twice during the same 2022 exercise, what were you trying to achieve by registering twice if not that it was a deliberate attempt to be fraudulent and vote twice. The onus is not on INEC!!! You disenfranchised yourself by registering twice…it is illegal to register twice, in a same functioning country you will be prosecuted!!!!! It is electoral fraud to register twice or to attempt to vote twice. Let’s not promote criminality! |
Ofolete:But excuse me, are you not happy that people who wanted to rig by registering multiple times have been caught and delisted? |
Corridon:are you saying they the ones who tried to register multiple times? If so, are you saying INEC should allow people from the east to have as many PVC cards as they want? Please explain the sense in your post if there is any? |
pineed:It says a lot about the quality of leadership he will provide. The man is a quack!!! |
i wish her all the best but ladies beware of bleaching creams!!!!! "Nephrotic syndrome of minimal change disease following exposure to mercury-containing skin-lightening cream" https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6074594/ Abstract A 28-year-old female suffered from nephrotic syndrome after a long-term use of mercury-containing, skin-lightening cream. The blood and urinary mercury content of this patient increased with use. Renal biopsy showed minimal change disease. Her symptoms were relieved 6 months after discontinuing use of the cream and receiving sodium dimercaptosulfonate and glucocorticosteroid treatments. Proteinuria disappeared, and blood and urinary mercury levels returned to normal. Previous reports of nephrotic syndrome caused by mercury-containing, skin-lightening creams have mostly been identified as being due to membranous nephropathy. Minimal change disease has been reported in a few case reports published in the English language. Here we report a case of nephrotic syndrome with minimal change disease following exposure to a mercury-containing, skin-lightening cream. We also reviewed relevant published reports to summarize clinical features and treatments and to explore the possible mechanisms involved. |
LoneWolf212:when he was running as and willing to be VP to Atiku, he didnt ask how a customs officer amassed so much wealth? |
HarlequinLekex:Nigerians are funny people. the energy you used to type that question on nqairaland you could have just typed "meaning of BTW" in google and save everyone else the wasted minuites of their lives they cant get back. Tommorow some will get annoyed when they are called lazy youth |
Foreigners taking over the Uk, reverse colonization underway |
Jostoman:i know you Obidients dont have the mental capacity to handle truth but.... https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/422321-tinubu-speaks-on-endsars-protests-lekki-shooting.html “It is early hours of the morning, there’s no way I can talk to the authorities or wake them up now. I have tried to reach the NSA, I have tried to reach the head of the army. TEXEM Advert “You don’t call the president at this hour, but I strongly condemn the act. There are other means of settling or dispersing protest. Why would they use live bullets? There are rubber bullets,” Mr Tinubu said. |
tinsel:Much as I dont like CNN, they are not Arise Tv and Nigerian media that he can give dumb answers and they will be nodding. |
do market women and farmers do internet searches? ...just asking for a friend |
Black man get problem!!! |
RandyOku:Just like one fool below said it was the handiwork of APC. Do you have any brain cells? So Peter Obi should not comment when a LABOUR PARTY office is attacked irrespective of who you people are blaming for the attack? If it is church in Owo he will be the 1st to comment, if it is train attack in Kaduna he will be fighting to comment, if someone piss on the streets of Indonesia, Peter Obi will have comment consoling the streets of Indonesia for receiving piss but anything in Ibo land even against his own Labour Party …he will keep quiet! What is he afraid of? Why is he afraid to condemn attacks in Ibo land? Jostoman:? |
We are waiting Peter Obi’s comment. Let us see if he will condemn this or as usual pretend he is not aware like he does when any atrocity is committed in the SE! |
I thought they lost because of INEC server and rigging. Plus PDP plus Obidients, all mad people!! |
vicshub:Sometimes if a subject is above your pay grade, just keep quiet. It’s not everything you missy comment on. This is economics not BBNaija or Nollywood!!! |
sanpipita:You really are daft. Its amazing how idiots with their own hands provide the evidence to convict themselves!!!! |
SpecialAdviser:do you actually understand what he is saying? The man is clueless!! but ofcourse his supporters are too dumb to understand what he just tweeted. I am sure Obi himself does not understand what he just posted probably Utomi who told him what to type. Well let me explain to you idiots. The Nigerian economy needs expansionist policies not contractionary monetary policies. The ley word there for those of you who have a brain is "contraction". you use contractionary monetary policies when your economy is overheating and there is inflation, like currently exists in the US. Nigeria's inflation isnt caused by an overheating economy, it is caused largely by imported inflation due to plummeting exchange rate. You dont solve that problem by contracting the economy, what you will then induce is stagflation or depression, a situation where the economy is contracting due to tightening of liquidity in the economy and inflation is still rising (because the primary cause of inflation (devaluating currency) is not adressed. It shows the man and his team have absolutely no understanding of how economies work!! I am dissapointed in Utomi if he has a hand in this, I thought he was more intelligent than this. If only Obi knew how much of a fool he has just made himself look in front of knowledgeable people!! |
This is what we are talking about, people that have no senators or house of rep members want to amend law? The whole Obidient movement is just daft! |
noegenesis:Nigerians are daft!!!!! They don’t u derstand this is enslaving ourselves. The white man is securing new markets for its future green energy products (they will be the ones manufacturing the “clean” energy products of the future they are trying to create) while foolish leaders and followers in the 3rd world are celebrating their enslavement!!! They are securing their own jobs while we are destroying ours…..for how much?!!! |
TheRareGem1: Adelekan40: Tiwatoke2:You woke people are celebrating your enslavery. How can you a nation whose primary resource is fossil fuels, coal, gas, oil etc, that has not developed these resources or created a manufacturing environment to manufacture any alternative energy sources be celebrating enslaving yourselves to a western ideology for a few billions in debt forgiveness? Do you woke people not understand the imppact on your industries and jobs in Nigeria? Who is going to manufacture the solar panels or the batteries or the windmills…..you think it’s Nigeria? It’s bad enough you are importing refined petroleum products exporting petroleum jobs abroad, now you want to sign up to an agenda that completely destroys your petroleum industry in the long term……..you want to sign up to kill the only industry that provides the bigggest source of govt revenues at a time when you are struggling g to finance social programs, just so you can stand together o. Stage with your western masters? Would America do the same? You So called educated Nigerians are just daft!!!!! The same west that has been divesting from your oil industry, that asked their banks not to finance new oil gas and fossil fuel powered projects in Africa for a decade only to make a u turn when Russia cut off their gas and oil supplies are the people you are brownosing? It is a bad idea typical of mentally enslaved so called intellectuals aka Uncle Toms!!!! |
Another theoretical western slave Uncle Tom selling us out to the west like all those woke intellectuals before him. How do you a fossil fuel dependent economy agree to mortgage your natural resources future because of western ideology just to please your Oyinbo masters for a few pieces of silver? So called intellectuals are the problem of Nigeria from the people that brought hardship to Nigeria in the 80s through SAP that never brought the touted export benefit but instead crippled our domestic manufacturing industries and turned us into a dumping ground for manufactured goods to this ill thought out energy transition plan. You cannot have oil has coal etc and sell out to the white man’s green agenda….who is going to produce the solar panels and the wind turbines?…..the west!!!! Which means you lose jobs in Nigeria. Nigerian intellectuals are the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria!! Thank God Osinbajo will not be Nigerias president!!!!! |
