Lanrelagboi:why are you wasting your time? those you are trying to convince have already made up their minds not to vote for him. those who are going to vote for him already know his track record and both probably did not bother to read your long list. |
The man is currently praying he loses because he has entered one chance that is bigger than his capacity and he knows he cant perform!! |
Irupetepete:Children are always best with their mothers. If you decided to have children with an irresponsible woman then you will carry your cross, If she is a responsible woman but both of you don’t get along then swallow your pride and return them to their mother and don’t because of fight with their mother damage your children, they are already damaged because their parents are not together. |
Nikkitaboy:February will soon come, you will all remmember you are IPOB and start to apologize to Kanu for abandoning him.
|
Daguga:Obi is the only one without answers only list of problems |
Nikkitaboy:Campaign hasn’t started. Because some people are running helter skelter appearing on every platform that will have them and still saying nothing doesn’t mean campaign has started. While some are running up and down including apealing to people in foreign lands who cannot vote, those who have something to offer are busy fine tuning their manifesto. Some are using this presidential candidate thing to catch personal cruise and boost social media popularity , others understand president is not a joke and are busy with their plans to take the country forward. |
Obi can’t pass the track record test |
Joevics:Tinubu will be happy to see that the PDP votes from the SS and SE will be divided. Next!!!! |
Tupac10:What is a water child? |
The story makes no sense….especially in an age when people make up stories to trend!!! |
nobody cares. the man is finished!!! |
Just like fuel subsidy, everyone knows the current model of subsidizing petrol and University education is neither productive (i.e poor quality graduates) nor sustainable! |
ibos endorsing Obi...what a shock!!!! Atiku and Tinubu must be trembling in their boots!!! |
God1000:better eat well now and store plenty of fat reserves!! |
Shokoloko:tinubu is not 86, if you want to engage in falsehoods, then lets end here. For me this discussion is not even about the others, it is about you. if you are a youth led movement, your candidate should be a 35-50 year old to spearhead the movement. it is intellectual deceitfulness or lazyness at best to say "younger". If you are now falling behind special advisers, then it goes against the ageism in your movement because an old man can also appoint special advisers!! This discussion and your responses goes to the heart of flaw in the Obidient movement...it is not an idealogical or intellectual movement but a movement borne out of convergent strange bedfellows of frustrated naive youth, tribal considerations and wokism who have simply rallied behind an opportunist because he was all that was available!!! The irony is you gave him the platform, you could easily have found a youth amongst yourselves and used the plaform which is of your creation to field somoene who is truly not part of the old establishment and at least represents you and your aspirations…..except ofcourse you are Ibo (which from your profile you clearly are). In which case stop the dishonesty and be bold enough to say it is time for an Ibo president so you are supporting Obi. Like I have said it is a legitimate reason but don’t and pull the wool over our heads claiming younger or different from the others and all that crap. Because while many of us are stupid a lot more are not!!!!! |
Shokoloko:Like I said you guys are not thinking right, the only people whose brains are working correctly are the Ibos. You are a youth say 30 and below and you are busting your ass in the name of age to hand power to a 64 year old? Are you fucking kidding me Younger is what you are using to fool yourselves? What is the difference between 64 and 70? A man who is 64 is just as remote and removed from a 30 yr old as someone who is 70. When youths were working to bring change in America, they were working for a 40 yr old Obama!! Not a man who when Deola asked 3 times how will you create jobs for tech savvy youths waffled on and on for 11 minutes and couldn’t give an answer that shows he understands the needs of youths. Go watch the video. They are asking you about tech savvy youths and he is answering as if he is talking about mechanic or trader apprentice schemes!!!!Apologies Obi is 61 not 64, it is Osinbajo where the discussion started that is 64. But my point still remains. |
Shokoloko:Keep dreaming, when these current old guard seized power they didn’t do it in stages, they grabbed it in their youth and have been Shari g it among themselves ever since….why? Because they worked for it!!!! |
Shokoloko:Like I said youths are not thinking right or straight!!! Gowon, ironsi, balewa, Shagari, Murtala, IBB, Abacha etc etc had all finished their mission as head of state or president by the time they were Peter Obi’s age!! So I find it laughable that youths are supporting a 64 year old man as their candidate. If you don’t like the old men, find a young man among yourselves after all you are the ones driving the movement!!!! Why use your resources to drive the movement to support an old man who is part of the old establishment? Correct me if I am wrong but with the exception of Buhari we have never ever had a president or head of state assume office at Peter Obis age and you are talking of youth? It’s sad the irony seems lost of you people!!! |
Shokoloko:A 64 year old man is a youth? Seriously? Like I said Nigerian youths are not thinking. The generation of leaders they claim they are trying to kick out have been in power since the 1960s when they were In their 20/30s. |
Obi supporters have 3 main groups 1) ibos 2) naive youths happy to be part of something without the experience and wisdom to examine the contents of what they are supporting 3) Woke or non Ibo elitist adults who have no brain cells left and are happy to jump on any fad to be among…they were last seen under Falomo bridge doing their latest attempt to copy international fads with their occupy Nigeria movement which just turned into a social gathering. Many of them are the brainless parents of the endsars protesters who after achieving their aim decided to overstay their welcome at the toll gate and turn into anarchists! of all of them, the only ones whose brains are working are no.1. they are not interested in a good candidate or his track record, they just want an Ibo president. |
who the hell is Nocholas felix to be calling meeting...they say he was presidential candidate have you ever heard of him? ofcourse he was snubbed, the man was simply chasing relevance and clout. Who the f*** is this nobody to be calling meeting of a vice-president and former and sitting governors and ministers, simply because you have money to buy nomination form!!! How many votes did he get again? |
I am sure he will tell you it is a shirt he bought at marks and Spencer or Macy’s in 1975 for £5 or $5…..go and verify!!! |
The sad this about the Obidient movement is that when he loses, people will be demoralized and only in the aftermath and post morterm will they realise they missed a chance for genuine change not because Obi lost but because Obi was the wrong person to spearhead the movement. An opportunity for a genuine paradigm shift will probably never come again because the wrong person is heading it, a movement for a new order headed by Peter Obi is ab initio a fraudulent movement!!! APGA for 10 years PDP, PDp for 8years, a member of Jonathans Govt for 3, Vice presidential candidate to Atiku, a member of 3 different political parties, one of the biggest importers of basic consumer goods including the much derided imported toothpicks, no factory to his name, no gasp on the issues and ideas except telling us the problems we all know....the man is a fraud and it is a travesty to those who want a new order that this charlatan is the one spearheading the movement. it will go down as a generational opportunity wasted because poor thinking Nigerians decided to make an opportunist, a con man and a charlatan the arrowhead of the change movement. The problem with Obi failing (as he will) is that the 2 parties will consolidate their grip on power knowing the risk of a genuine new order and how close they could have come to extinction if they (the so called Obidients) only had a credible and more acceptable leader. Furthermore many of the youth behind the Obidient movement will be older and age makes us all less enthusiastic and more cynical and accepting of the status quo…especially if he is humbled at the polls!!! It will only serve to “prove” the fallacy to many that you cannot win an election unless you are in one of the 2 big parties, when in reality the reason the Obidient movement failed is that it was flawed from the beginning, based on falsehoods and emotion and lacking ideology, a clearly articulated plan and most importantly a credible figure head which is what you need to upset the status quo anywhere. |
SavageResponse:no shit? |
selfemployed:This man I am listening to is daft and clueless!!!! I’m still watching the video but after waffling for 11 minutes telling us stats of China India and Indonesia he still hasn’t answered the question. How are you going to harness the tech skills of young Nigerians to provide jobs? Deola has so far had to ask him 3 times to answer the question!!! He still hasn’t I will keep watching. Hoping for an answer!!! Anyone who watches Obi and still thinks this man has the solution is really daft IMHO. The man doesn’t even know Nigerias current generation capacity is currently over 12,000mw, he is talking 4-5000mw!!!!! It is our transmission capacity that is stuck at 4000mw and there is already a Siemens plan in motion to increase it. Mhen May Peter Obi not happen to Nigeria!!!!! I will give him credit for his broad outline on education. At least he has outlined that universities need to be autonomous and generate their own funds as well as mentioning student loans. However, youths should not be fooled, he is talking of loans because he plans to introduce or plans to give universities the power to introduce and increase tuition fees! I agree with that 100% but understand what Peter Obi has in plan for you youth is not free Universities!!! |
siofra:A woman who dresses like this can NEVER be a good mother to the kid. |
iwaeda:because the plan was always to try him here. Either delay the case forever or find him guilty or grant him pardon after the statute of limitations in the US would have expired. They know it is easier to manage him in Nigeria than under the US justice system. |
The thing you need to understand is that a degree is not what it used to be all over the world but especially in Nigeria. 1) in Nigeria the standard of education has fallen, so a degree in most fields is no better than "0" levels 50 years ago plus every dick and harry has a degree. So if you get a degree in a Nigerian University, today it must be a targeted degree in a targeted institution. Back in the day such was the standard of education that you could get a bank job as a secondary school leaver and rise to become director, today you get a degree and are stuck as a contract bank teller. 2) Skill Certification is more valued in today's world. Increasingly Employers require employees who have expert knowledge in a particular product. For instance you have a computer science degree..thats your business, most employers needs someone who has a particular software certification...your degree is only an advantage, the guy who has no degree but certification will get the job over you with a computer science degree but no certification. A degree does not guarantee you anything anymore, especially a Nigerian University degree, that is not to say it is worthless but you have to add to your degree to stand out and know the type of degree and the type of University. There are some universities and courses you go to in Nigeria and you are just wasting 4 years of your life....no employer rates your course or University. Thats why many graduates end up as sales reps or teachers on minimum wage jobs or even drivers. When you hear such stories ask which Universities they attended and which courses they did. |
As Shettima said, Obasanjo is "wiley old fox"...trust thim at your peril. Any experienced politician who is backing Peter Obi is secretely working for Tinubu. Any experienced politician knows there is no way Obi can win without Atiku and vice versa. Therefore experienced politician who actually knows how to win elections backing Obi is only doing so to split the opposition votes and send votes away from Atiku!!! How many politicians with a record of winning elections are behind Obi? Doyin Okupe is probably the most high profile person backing Obi but who is Doyin Okupe...what political clout did he have prior to Obi? He is backing Obi because backing Obi raises his profile. |
Wike knows his best bet is Tinubu. Why? Because his immunity will soon end and he must back the winner or he is in trouble. The question is who is most likely to win? Atiku and Obi cannot win unless they merge. Obi cannot step down for Atiku or he loses face and Atiku did not come this far to step down for Obi. Because of the unstrategic ill thought out move by Obi to leave PDP and pick the ticket of Labour, they are now constitutionally barred from a joint ticket so it is one or the other!! Furthermore The only person who is helped by Wike’s endorsement is Tinubu, Wike endorsing Obi doesn’t help Obi where he really needs votes….the North, Wike endorsing Atiku only preserves his Rivers votes but doesn’t replace the votes lost to Obi. Wike endorsing Atiku or Obi only keeps them in the race, it is not a victory coup. However whoever of the 2 Wike does not endorse is effectively out of the race!! He could work for either and still lose and still be in trouble!!!! In Tinubu’s case Wike failing to endorse Tinubu is not a big deal but with Wikes endorsement, The race is over before it starts. Wike cannot be the difference in the victory of Atiku or Obi but he can be the guarantee of victory for Tinubu. The man who gets you over (or guarantees you get over) the line is your real kingmaker, not the guy who only maintains you in the race. Therefore Wike is more valuable to Tinubu than the others. A true politician knows this., therefore if Wike is smart, his best interest is served working for Tinubu!!! Wike cannot afford to back someone who is not assured of victory, he cannot afford to be on the losing side or he is finished!!!!! That is all you need to know about who Wike will work for!!!! |
SMGGroup:Actually both would have been disasters. It is quite worrisome the criteria Nigerians use in picking leaders. We dodged a bullet with Osinbajo and by Gods grace Obi will not smell Aso rock. Osinbajo would be a good diplomat, Ambassador or Attorney general/minister of Justice and The best position for Obi is head of EFCC, secretary to the govt, comptroller of customs or something like that. Neither can run Nigeria both have a mediocre record in governance/public administration/leadership. |
Rozross:thats what sidechicks are for |
