Actually on the contrary, i have analysed the choices before Nigeria in 2023 and the choice is as follows

1) a dubious president who has a record of corruption but the best record of performance even if that leaves much to be desired. In terms of performance I give him a 5/10.

2. a totally corrupt president whose track record (and that of his associates) is looting without a conscience and nothing to show.

3. a charlatan and tribal bigot with no track record of performance, who will have no control of parliament (so he cant really make any meaningful change), who talks a good talk but has never offered any solutions, who is from the same corrupt institutions he claims to be against and who anyone with a brain would realise cannot change a corrupt system without alllies in parliarment or get anything done without pandering to the same corrupt elements....assuming he even had any great master plan.

it says a lot that none of the other candidates are better than a man whose score card is 5/10, and thats the point. he is flawed but the others are worse!!!!


I have said many times, none are ideal and my choice is the least bad of 3 bad options.

The bottom line is your life is your responsibility and no one else’. A lot of women (and some Men to be fair) like to play the victim and avoid taking responsibility for their choices. On the issue of men running away, no man runs away from a good woman…..trust me, we are not fools, we recognize a good thing when we see one . More likely to happen is that a good woman may leave a man but a man NEVER leaves a good woman. So if a man left you, it means he didn’t see you as the type of wife or mother he wants. Women need a paradigm shift that a man left you because he was a bad man. If you are truly a good woman a man will always hold on to you even if he has other women. A man only lets go of a woman that is dispensable….I.e she is not a keeper!!!! A man who lets go of a good woman is a fool in which case one has to ask what made you date a fool?

Finally your post makes it seem as if all responsibility in a relationship falls on the man. It is also the responsibility of a woman not to enter into relationships with the wrong men and take responsibility for your mistakes when you do and more importantly to learn and not repeat your mistakes. The PRIMARY job of a woman is to raise and nurture the next generation that is your PRIMARY purpose, God did not create women for career. It has no value, anybody can get a honorary "citizenship of a state" in America, you dont even have to be a VIP or achieved anything in your life. I remember when i was doing my masters, some of my fellow students visited a state in America and met with the governor totally by accident and they were given honorary citizenship. it means nothing, it has no value, it is not even a recognition for achievement however Although it is not something you brag about, I feel Sowore didnt have to make an issue of it.

You have just buttressed what I said about the lack of understanding and ignorance of many so called educated Nigerians. Becoming a whip has nothing to do with your eligibility to stand for election and become a house member. By law if you are qualified to stand for elections, you are qualified to be a whip. There is no special legal requirement for who becomes whip, it is totally at the discretion of members of the house and who they vote for.

I honestly dont know why you have to forge a certificate you dont need....it says a lot about the education system in Nigeria that many of our leaders cant read the constitution, or dont understand the meaning of "Minimum" in minimum qualification!!

why submit a forged HND when you dont need HND to contest for office? it is there in the constitution.....you dont need secondary school certificate, you dont even need primary school certificate if you can prove work experience!!!

It says a lot about our political leaders...not that they dont have educational qualifications but that their understanding of issues is so poor, they risk their political careers forging certificates that are not required and nobody asked them for!!!!

that said, you cannot go to festac or Amuwo and take a poll and think it reflects the will of Lagosians...if you go to Alimosho your poll results will be very different.
