In my view, contentment definitely wont stop you from trying to reach higher goals or improve yourself. What it does is, it makes you relaxed( no rush/pressure/expectations) in taking the next step. you know, that extra bit of security and internal confidence.
My opinion tho

This means that contentment is temporary because you still have "higher goals" to accomplish.

That's, you can't reach a final stage where you can say "I'm fully contented. I don't want more". Even the fear of losing the ones you have will compel you into a desire for more.

Contentment is to man as a speed brake to a truck on a highway.

Human needs are insatiable. Within each of us is a bottomless ditch. We can never reach a point where we'll become satisfied. Not possible. The best is to talk about contentment so that we will not fall into the temptation of greed.

3. The animals in the wild still maintain their instincts because little changes have happened to their environment compared to man. This has created an evolutionary disequilibrium for the Homo sapiens especially - our environmental advancement is at a faster rate than our evolved psyche.

4. Lack of contentment is what has driven civilization to this moment. If contentment was ever possible there will be a total absence of growth and development.

5. When you are poor, you want any amount of money. When you have a job that gives you money, you want to become rich. When you become rich, you want to be classified as the richest in society. When you have been classified, you want to maintain the riches and wealth. The loop can't end.

6. It takes a subset of outliers who are enlightened not to judge people based on their material values. People must first be weighed based on their character, personality, principles, and beliefs.

But based on convention, we judge people by the material things we see around them. We judge people by their looks.

7. It takes extra responsibility to stir the top and go deeper to ascertain the composition of any person; it is a duty the average person is not suited for and can make many mistakes. Because he wants to be the judge and has character flaws.

8. Men will judge women based on their physique. At the surface and instinctually, no man cares about character. If a woman is beautiful, she's a good bet and can reproduce quality children.

Similarly, women don't care about the character of a man, if he's rich, he's a good bet and can take care of her and her children.

Hurdles and troubles lie in wait for every biological species. No escape route. For some, they've been able to evolve into a long hibernation mode and just save themselves from the struggles. 2. It is not easy for men, neither is it easy for women. Life is difficult.

However, along the line, women have a way of leveraging the sexual hunger and thirst of men for their betterment via short/long-term relationships. For the men, they must hustle hard to get out of their penury and lower state.

3. Women struggle less than men because they can hoodwink men's libido. Women don't bother about respect, command, control, and authority like men. Forget those feminists bullish!ts. The feminine nature is fragile and graceful. It desires to be protected.

4. Masculine nature is completely antithetical to the feminine nature. A man's respect is predicated on his level in the hierarchy. In all facets - look, wealth, power, authority - he must be high. Nobody respects a man at the bottom.

The man at the bottom will be constantly interrogated by his masculine soul that needs upliftment but lock in the flesh that struggles at the bottom. His future self ridicules his present state. These are factors that stimulate the man into action.

That's why you see men doing odd jobs, getting involved in obscene acts, and traveling uncomfortable far distances just to uplift their souls from the shackles of darkness; that state that has plunged them into querying nightmares and can hold them in a permanent state of despondency.

5. The average human is altruistic and as well, selfish. Many would render help if they are not confiscated. Everyone is struggling to reach the last lap. So, you just need to be patient with most (rich/wealthy/OK) people you come across.

Of course, many do think your low-level state is due to your weakness and ignorance. They never consider other factors like genetics, environment, demography, family background, etc. You can't blame them for too long, else, you'll never pass that stage.

6. Earth is rough, no doubt!

Continue to launch your limbs and mind in different places, in the pursuit of greatness. One day, your hard work will meet luck and you'll be favored. Just keep pushing and never relent. Do take some rest along the way.

1. The best option right now is abortion.

D. Vague imaginations that the child will become great in the future. And when the child becomes great you will leverage your past anger, disappointment, and rejection to haunt the father.

This imagination is vague.

You can't raise that child in this poor, hellish, and devilish political and socioeconomic system. The children already born in this cesspool called Nigeria are in pain, stress, fear, and hunger.

Don't think you are the exception. However, if you have strong mental fortitude and believe in yourself, fine, go on.

Other options:

2. Give birth to the child and take it to an orphanage or religious center. Too bad for the child though.

4. Or, go illegal by se***ng the child after birth. Too bad again. Be warned.

2. As humans, we border between altruism and selfishness - a higher percentage of selfishness, however.

3. You deal with people because you have something to gain. Or, you don't want to lose. No matter how much we think we're altruistic, selfish tendency flows in our veins. Being selfish may not be deliberate but it is there, a basic instinct controlling our daily actions and behaviors.

4. The people that'll appreciate you more are those you're in a symbiotic relationship with. There is an overlapping of competence, integrity, intelligence, accountability, and responsibility. Since there's an exchange, both parties will endeavor to play their parts effectively.

5. Women especially have a short-span memory when it comes to kindness. For it to last longer in their memory, you must constantly fill them with luxuries, love, and kindness. Once there's a default, previous kindness begins to fade into oblivion.

6. But things can't always be rosy. You'll waste away your life, energy, time, and resources in an adventure to satiate the vacillating sentiments of a woman.

A mature adult (woman) should be able to think and build with you if they/she are interested in any relationship with you.
