sheedy407:This is probably a RHD vehicle(Yes some African countries use 'em) and the woman might not be seated on the driver's seat. First of all, a RHD vehicle would be moving forward on the left side of traffic. Based on this, you can observe the lady is on the seat closer to the curb/pedestrian corner(I know it is, from the number of pedestrians you can see at that corner in the photo -posted by OP) which is usually why its called a passenger's seat(Cos a passenger would be getting in from the curb/pedestrian lane not from the middle of the road). A driver's seat is supposed to be the one closer to the middle of the road not the sidewalk. Hope this clarifies that. Alternatively, take a look at this photo(attached) and observe the position of the pedestrian trying to get in a Black Cab (UK Taxi - RHD). Martin Luther followers have a 66 book bible which only 500 years ago, he(Martin) reduced from the 73 that were previously existing prior to the time. Then he created the Sola Scriptura (Bible Alone) theory after he had reduced the books asking all his followers to believe in his reduced version of the bible and nothing else (That explains why a lot of protestants today want to see what colour of shoes jesus wore in the bible before believing anything). He(Martin) even tried to remove the book of James and Revelation and some others because they were contrary to his Sola Fide (Faith Alone) and Sola Gratia (Grace alone) theories which were erroneously-biased summaries of Paul's Epistles. Dont take my word for it, we are in a digital world now, history is easily accessible online, do your research and know your history. James says Faith without works is dead, James was an actual disciple adding clarity to the somewhat intellectual write ups of Paul who never meant to say works were unnecessary but many who arent divinely inspired capitalise on his words to assume works are irrelevant (like Martin). Now about Purgatory, it isnt a final destination that is why it is not explicitly stated as a noun in the bible, it is a purification process, borne out of God's mercy. Lets explain it this way, God is a merciful God, indeed he is, but he is also a God of Justice. Nothing unclean can enter heaven. Many people roam the earth today with many soul flaws, sin damages your soul, it makes one unclean. Some sins enslave people and thats why they keep falling back to the sin. When cheating in business has become part of people's lives, womanising and envy, stealing or some other form of vice like drugs, it becomes a big scar on the soul. If such a person asks God for forgiveness, God forgives but is that person truly free from that behavioural disorder? He or she still has the tendency to go back to it. This is why penance is important, it helps you rid the body of these behavioural disorders. If God lets a corrupt person into heaven, they would try to steal the gold on the throne or if someone who looks down on people (poor or disabled) gets into heaven they would try to oppress other heavenly citizens. If a harlot or womaniser makes heaven they would try to seduce the angels. God can not permit this. So sinners cant go to heaven. But if that sinner has sincerely asked for forgiveness, genuinely promises to make a conscious effort to avoid the sin and dies merely running away from the sin than being able to comfortably confront or feel no need for it(sin), it means he/she didnt have time to heal properly and fully overcome the addiction even though the sin was not commited again, God out of his abundant mercy sends such a soul to purgatory to purge what ever tendency remains that they couldnt find time to overcome on earth because they have been forgiven by God's mercy, but still need to be transformed to heavenly beings because a just God would not allow one with that tendency to tempt creatures in heaven at any point in the future. When they have overcome the tendency through purgation, they are then admitted fully into heaven. That said, if anyone on earth relaxing in their sinful self says "well Jesus has died for me, I will enjoy my flesh and sin as I like, so heaven na sure thing no matter what I do, hell no be my portion, last last e go be purgatory", they might go to hell instead, because God uses the mercy of purgatory to transforms souls that are truly repentant and forgiven and headed to heaven not souls who still have unconfessed sins and willfully revel in their wicked ways unrepentantly expecting to land in purgatory. Purgatory is like a hospital, its not a pleasant place to be, the scar has to be purged and even though its meant for your healing it is a very tough process. There is a reason God prefers for us not to sin atall, rather than for us to fall and stand back up, but through his mercy he understands we are weak and he provides forgiveness, but He would be even happier if we didnt have to get scars on our soul in the first place because he knows how hard it is for us to overcome the slavery such scars induce in us. That is why prayer is very important. Some people correct this evil tendency on earth either through penance, prayer or God's supernatural intervention. Do not hope for purgatory its not where you want to even stay a minute, Amend your ways while you still have life. I have made it as simple as I can. But if you need a bible verse (Sola Scripturalists) I will add this to those already mentioned by others on this thread. 1 Cor 3:13-15 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames This handles paragraphs 2 and 3. And even paragraph 1, because even Paul in his letter to Corinthians here mentions work but Martin Luther ignores these parts and focuses only on Paul's mention of faith in other epistles he wrote. Just to add, do you even realise that every one knows about Angel Raphael but it might interest you to know that the only place the Archangel Raphael was mentioned in the bible is in one of the 7 books martin removed from his 66 book version? the book of Tobith(Tobias). Even the Septaugint had the book and Jews during the time of Jesus would have been familiar with the name of the Angel Raphael. We do today but why is the book excluded in Martin's 66 book bible? DO NOT BE DECIEVED, CATHOLICS HAVE READ THE BIBLE AND HAD MILENNIALS OF APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION AND TRADITION HANDED DOWN TO THEM SINCE THE TIME OF JESUS, THEY CANT POSSIBLY BE WRONG STARTING ONLY 500 YEARS AGO BECAUSE AN EXCOMMUNICATED PRIEST MARTIN LUTHER MISUNDERSTOOD THINGS THAT WERE DIVINELY INSPIRED AND DECIDED TO CHANGE IT. Being good is a calling, not a default (Either by personal decision or upbringing). A dog does not return to its you know what. We have all read stories of how people who became good and went back to their old ways got it worse than before. If you are a christian, or if anyone who is can see my post, I suggest you think about God first. When He asks us to be good he isnt saying we would only get good in return, at least not in this world. He was insulted, spat on, betrayed, assaulted, stripped naked, killed, all for us to have a shot at salvation. If he went through these for being good, we would too. Now I would like to share something I learnt from a teacher when I was a kid. She said "Children you have to be good because if you are bad, Jesus would run away if you enter heaven. But the Heavenly Father wont let you chase Jesus away.". As an adult it made more sense to me when I realised, God wants us all to be good because if you are bad you wont be suitable for heaven, you would not only cause problems for Jesus but no citizen in heaven would be safe with you around. Even the pretty angels would not be safe if a womaniser or manslayer was allowed in. Neither would the precious stones on the Throne be safe cos a thief would steal them. Sometimes I wonder how some corrupt Nigerians(especially politicians) intend to make heaven when they cant survive in a Just environment. So my dear, being good doesnt determine you would have good people around you (not while still in the flesh at least), if influence is anything to go by, your good life might touch a few to change. To those who revel in being bad, remember you cant take your bad attitudes to heaven, its not gonna change by magic, you have to work on being good so you can live at peace in a heaven of zero tolerance for sin or corruption. 3 Likes |

This sort of issue is one that requires your good sense of judgement. None of us know what sacrifice you made to lend him that money. A loan is a loan. It can be very frustrating when people who take loans don't pay back for any reason, and that's not because of the money itself but usually because people who offer loans have made plans for the cash before deciding to give it. We do not know if that money was meant for your school fees, or something very important to your future, so we can't say your reason for getting very frustrated was misplaced, and most people in this situation resort to nagging or even lose friendships. We should not forget the fact that some people are chronic debtors who have no idea how hard money is made and just have a natural tendency to not like to pay back what they owe especially if they have an entitlement mentality (Not saying this is the case in this situation but we cant rule it out either). Fighting or throwing vocal slurs on people is not civil and doesnt get you further, it only seems like you get further because you stir up something in them that make them want to get you off their back not cause they feel they sincerly owe you but cos they want to prove you are nuts and that they not as low as you claim. None of which would have happened if you just kept your money where it should have been-(with you) or had a back up plan to fill it up while its gone. Now while I don't commend nagging as a way to resolve things cos it never works, I suggest the best way to get over the habit is to think deeply before doing things yourself in the future. Do not think too much of people or expect them to be perfect, especially if you are volatile. That way you don't get upset too often or enough to set you off on a verbal bang. As for the money, I suggest you start making plans to save and cover for the debt yourself, that money may never come back, but at least you have learnt to only sacrifice in the future what you can afford to lose (I'm not in anyway implying that you shouldn't make sacrifices), but when you make up your mind to give, have a backup plan for whatever you wanted that money for, just incase unforeseen circumstances lead to disappearance of the money that might be even beyond the debtor to abate. As for getting back with your bf, it depends on what kind of guy he is. A loan is what it is - a loan. A man with honour would work hard to pay you the money and still stay, because if you made such a sacrifice 2 years ago to save his dad, you is a keeper. He wont be quick to forget that, unless of course he has an entitlement mentality, really sucks at redeeming debts, or is still with you cos he cant afford a better girl yet(doesnt mean you are worse, its based on what he thinks). Some people could be very nice but equally terrible when it comes to money. You should observe more about him as relates to debt, for example does he pay his rent when due? (that's if he lives in rented accomodation) or does he whine about the landlord when its time for him to pay. In this case, there is a difference between a man who has money to pay rent but thinks the Landlord ought to let him stay for free and a man who truly thinks the Landlord deserves to get paid but he only wishes he has more time to pay. I hope you two work it out somehow as you claim to really love him, but you either have to accept his personality and learn how to deal with it proactively, than wait till the aftermath and nag about things he does you dont like. If you cant keep up with his personality and he cant keep up with yours,its only gonna cause more issues for you both in the future. 1 Like |

Well if you have an active mind, why not set up a blog or even vlog on youtube about things you are passionate about. Check KSI and Comedyshortsgamer, they are young youtubers born to Nigerian parents who have made massive money online from just their oratory skills and bubbly personalities while playing video games. Many people would envy you if you only knew how best to apply yourself and believe in yourself. Some are Engineers, Doctors or Lawyers who think you have it better than them in terms of where the money is really being made in today's world, but you probably think they are better off, but are they really? Think about this: A dozen and one million Nigerians probably exist that would love to blog or vlog but don't have the literary versatility or time at their disposal, perhaps they ventured into an alternative career that is very demanding or are stuck in a 9-5 job they don't like simply because they've got many mouths to feed. Ultimately, think Futuristic. I have noticed Nigeria is a great place but 80% of her people are not able to think futuristically. This is how you can stand out. Observe global trends and don't be caught sleeping on a bike. Wole Soyinka might have won a nobel due to the bravado he exhibited in his time, but the kids making it big now aren't doing the same things their father's did. In order for you to be relevant in the future, you have to be able to tell what the next big thing is gonna be and latch on to the moving train like your life depended on it. Michael Jackson and Donald Trump didn't remain relevant for 3 decades doing the same things their counterparts did, they focused on tweaking and keeping their craft relevant to whatever time and generation was taking over, and they did it big league. No matter the field you finally decide to venture into, always remember it's not what you do that really matters most of the time, it's how you do it. People would likely forget what you did for them but they never forget how you made them feel. Best wishes. |

Some people find one show more enlightening than the other but I think the focus should be placed on what one can learn from a philosophical point of view and how it applies to the situation of interest, irrespective of the platform it is aired on. Well said OP. Please add this to your Bible references as well. Luke 9:51-56. Jesus rebuked his disciples for suggesting they call down fire from heaven to burn the Samaritans that refused to help them. Christians who live by the principle of Psalm 23 know that evil shall not harm you as long as the Lord is by you, in the valley of the shadow of death. How then does he prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies when you wish them all dead? Another reference is Proverbs 24:17-18. Don't rejoice at the downfall of your enemies or God will see you and turn his wrath away from them. All of these things tell you one thing: Vengance is for God not man. You can't kill what is already dead. Trust in the Lord with faith and He will fight your battles. I don't know why people pray with hatred in their hearts. Don't even understand which God they really follow. |

The truth is, there are loads of opportunities in Nigeria but many people do not see it. This lady probably put her head down to understand what she was studying, shunned malpractice and developed pure innovation, don't be surprised if you find out her dissertation was related to what she is doing now. It didn't end at school, she developed the requisite skills to actualise her plans by going all out to source for funds and didn't keep her ideas secret like most Nigerians do (You can find them in Business section dropping phone numbers and emails when they should be open about what they do to get investors). Another problem is corruption, a lot of people aren't trustworthy in Nigeria to do business with, you employ 100 people on such a project and a good number of them would always wanna take short cuts to help themselves out to the detriment of the business itself. My advice to Nigerians, quit waiting for someone to give you a cash gift to start a business, its not gonna happen. Make your plans professional, get legal (intellectual property protection) and seek investment openly not cash gifts. People will invest when your plan is potent and you can back it up with research worthy proof. And you can only back it up if you work hard, learn and achieve the know-how required to run your intended business and package it your way (create your own innovation). Also, many entrepreneurs and investors want to help young people with employment but the corrupt bad eggs in the work pool give the rest less chances to get in. Nigerians need to spread massive awareness to curtail corruption in the workplace, its chasing away investors, not just foreign but Nigerian as well, you will be shocked to find out how many Nigerian billionaires invest in other countries, and the reason is simple, the workers in foreign countries are more honest and less corrupt in sabotaging the business for personal gain. No entrepreneur runs a business to lose. Avoiding incompetent and criminal-minded employees is one of the massive reasons some of the private companies/corporations still in Nigeria employ only on referral(otherwise known as connection). Unemployment and Corruption(at all levels) would have been a thing of the past if Nigerian leaders only understood what a national database is for and how it can be applied to fight corruption. 3 Likes |

It was my first day as a new student in the school, there was this light skin girl with Alicia keys braids, she said she liked my handwriting and borrowed my notebook to copy the class lesson she missed. When she returned it at recess, she winked and asked me to check the last page, then left. At first I didn't understand, then I eventually saw it, I found she drew hearts and lips and wrote some really fascinating words. Too bad I didn't last long in that school(left the next day, didn't even know her name). Had several more similar encounters but this is the one I remember for now. |

He always trust me, of course I can't talk to other guys like that.... The money has really damage the relationship, that money he supposed to have give me back 2 years ago.... So wasn't easy, I could not travel to see my parents...and some other things...like business...i have not seen my parents for almost 4years. And my dad was also sick 2 years ago, but he survived, he still sick but he is at home. He always advise me, but at this point he is so serious that I'm wondering...this means that what I did doesn't mean anything to him... OK is fine, that means he is not for me,we spoke this morning he agreed on considering the relationship,am not begging anymore I have change, and I'm a nice girl too... So enough is enough, assuming I didn't give him anything it will be like her dad didn't survive becoz I didn't help him, or maybe there relationship will be OK...i don't know, I'm better though I'm not as sad as before becoz I know I did a mistake, but I also know I tried . Those sacrifices has been for 3 years... I have always have his back... And I'm pretty too 
so I don't know what is problem... Hahahaha thank you again for your understanding. He has been with girls in a better position than me... I have seen it, we were friends before lovers... he just tired of me, and my nagging and the money issue, according to him. but he also agreed to go to the movies this weekend so by god's grace the land will be sold, and maybe we can be friends at least
