Damn fast fingers you lot |
Seun and colleagues please stop permitting anti-Christmas themes and topics on the FP. On a day like this, we need positive topics not these. We don't see these kind of topics on other religions feast days. Please. |
Hopefully they don't all leave the company to start theirs cos they have enough funds to be self employed now. |
viktor01:Especially the ones in Nysc camps that decieve naive girls that they can influence their posting. |
Geraldyne:If you do make one, don't forget the Instagram models - pout queens. |
babyfaceafrica:Read my reply in the post before ^^ |
Lovelynature:True, most people tend to cling more to one side but there aren't people who do not let off the other side characteristic traits even if it's once in a blue moon. Life definitely makes this happen. |

EMEKA1MILLION:Lol, Introvert to the bone! |
EMEKA1MILLION:True, and the generator 25 liters fuel lasts you 5 hours. |
I like how everyone claims to be an introvert now and if an extrovert thread is opened, same goons would claim too. No one is proper introverted or extroverted. What is important is the timing, that you are introvert when necessary and extrovert when necessary. |
kinglekan:That door bolt tho.... |
Those of you saying the Japanese flag is boring should retract your statement. The red dot is a record sign. It means they record everything you say and do and use it to develop their country. How can that be boring. Japan flag for the win jare. Spot the Japanese flag.

It happens most of the time, when you are abroad, practically everyone in Nigeria assumes you've gone to heaven and forget that you might return one day. They assume there aren't challenges you would have to face and make extorting you a full time job. What happened to this poor man Akachukwu is unfortunate, he spent almost 20 years believing a lie. The Fabulists going to jail may never return his money but hopefully he can pick himself up if he is still young enough to start afresh. God save us from bad people. |
Speechless3:Strive not to be deceived into leaving the one true Church founded by Jesus. God would not be cruel to institute a church with Peter while He was still here in human form, only to then depart from the earth leaving those he has saved by his death and rising to life, to be led astray in the same church he instituted. Then only many centuries after many of those in His church have gone to hell, decide it is time to start protestant followership that He didn't start when He was here on earth. God isn't an unjust God. Ask these Protestants one question: If you claim your protestant church is the true one, what happened to the millions of Catholics who were the only Christians in the days of old from the time of Christ, before Protestantism came about? Are they all in Hell? Now OP, the Catholic Church believes in the teachings contained in the bible and does not default in Her practice of the things contained in it. infact I dare say we follow the scriptures more adherently than many people do, and it is reflected in every single thing that you see in our theology. A number of these I have listed in the 7th paragraph of my analogy here. However, there are many occurrences and traditions which may not be contained in the bible which the catholic church still observes till date (John 20:30, 21:25). Most of which have been passed down by Christ and His apostles through their practices over time. You must understand that the Catholic Church has existed for a very long time and as such much of scripture have been embedded into every tradition it upholds and that is why many protestants who are just new to the bible seem to be confused when we don't quote scripture by chapter numbers, numbers aren't as important as the words they contain, but i'll still use them for doubters sake. Do not be deceived. If you want to fulfill the scripture, attend mass everyday, the readings during mass are from the bible. While protestants focus mainly on the teachings of Paul, Catholics embrace the entire scripture. It may amaze some of you to know that the founder of the Protestantism movement, Luther, wanted to eliminate many books from the bible during the time of their secession, If not for his counterparts some who were raised properly in the catholic faith, you would have found your bibles to be missing books like Revelation, James, Jude and Hebrews (If you doubt me, a simple search on google or Wikipedia would clear it all). So my dear sister, the Catholic Church does not ban you from reading the bible infact we want you to study it properly in order to understand why we do the things we do, I doubt a priest told you the bible isn't straightforward word for word, maybe you mistook his telling you that the bible should be read with the spirit and that everything we do is from God's love revealed by His Son, Apostles and Saints + the word of the Bible included and the direction of the Spirit. Why would God ask His disciples to wait for the Spirit in our hearts if he could easily just drop the bible from heaven and no need for the Spirit. Sola scriptura(Scripture only) is the bane of Luther's Protestantism and evades the aspect of God's Spirit continually giving the church the grace we need to be true Christians. In the Catholic Church you have all the opportunities to fulfill scripture, experience God's Spirit & Love and also find an easy route to fulfil God's commandments. If you want to carryout evangelism or lead a life of piety, there are religious societies for you to join. If you want to truly live the life of a pious Christian, there are religious orders such as priesthood, sisterhood, monastic life, nunnery. In fact we are a true fulfillment of scripture: Luke 1:48 Mary said, all generations shall call me blessed, now we Catholics do by saying the rosary, but protestants doctrine doesn't seem to support it. The sacrament of reconciliation was given so that James 5:16 might be fulfilled, in the past the Catholics came to church to confess their sins to one another in the open and this sometimes led not so godly people to target them for retribution or domestic revenge, so the trustworthy ones (Priests) were assigned the duty such that your sins are confessed to another but they aren't used to condemn you as priests have sworn to keeping confidential all that they have been told at confession and they can be trusted. Additionally, many people condemning catholic doctrine don't even have the luxury of availability of Holy Communion daily, or even at all, something that Christ asked to be done in his memory (Luke 22:19), even at Emmaus, His followers eyes were only opened to recognize him after the bread was broken (Luke 24:30-32). Even Daniel 12:11 speaks of a daily sacrifice, where is this done in Christendom outside Catholic church? We also have history on the life of our saints which are major inspirations for those hoping to live holy and worthy lives to attain heaven, the saints also plead to God on our behalf (Rev 8:3-4, Genesis 12:3). Heaven is no joke, I have visited some other denominations but trust me, we have all the tools to make heaven right here with us in the Catholic Doctrine. If you want to make use of it, stop being a sunday-mass only catholic, mass is held everyday, attend mass on other days, start reading books on the lives of Saints and about catholic devotion and inspiration, join at least one devotional society and at least one service one, (I recommend a Jesus one -Infant Jesus or Sacred Heart, Marian one - like Legion of Mary, or one of the Saint-oriented ones that inspire you to become a Saint. As far as I'm concerned Charismatic is almost protestant so I wouldn't recommend them even though some might argue that). Be fully immersed in the examples and inspiration of the teachings and do not focus on the social gathering itself. Come back and tell me if your faith would not improve a hundred fold and the heavens begin to appear closer!!! Update: All these confusion are part of End-time, now Some denominations do not even acknowledge Christ as God and still call themselves Christian. I am not one to condemn denominations, but if one does not acknowledge Christ as God, such person can not be called Christian. As long as our Catholic doctrines remain unchanged we are safe. Soon we might have to start practicing our own faith in hiding, watch out for the statement about the ceasing of the daily sacrifice and the abomination that maketh desolate in the holy place that Daniel and Mark wrote of. If our doctrines have to change to accommodate mordernism (e.g Jesus no longer seen to have accepted the cross) or a bland integration of other anti-Christians and their beliefs into our faith, we are going to have a big problem, so therefore we must continue to pray for the Church. God bless you all. |
Oga, this your video contradicts what you posted. The dog did not come back. It just moved on ![]() Are you sure you watched the video before posting?
Do I have to spell everything out? The post I previously quoted made a point and my response to it with a video had a question attached. I don't think you observed the question mark and what it stood for in that context. |

OP its 2nd December, what was the verdict? |
The man and his gods should be charged to court, and the wife for aiding and abetting. Endtime gods!!! |
NwaNimo1:Did you check The Guardian University League Table (More recognised than Complete University Guide - CUG that is compiled by independent consultants). Also, its only fair to do a search by subject area. Some of these schools at the top have more courses and have existed for more centuries than others, it wont be fair to judge them equally. Not that any of that matter in this context, the school might have ranked low but the more reason it is harder to make top grades because the university is struggling to make their standards noticeable. Trust me it wont be in their interest to hand such to graduates as they please, whoever made it really deserved it. |
With the sort of posts and replies I see here, I wonder what the currently proposed Biafra would be like? |
The people you are trying to impress by showing these pictures live in places like the ones (pictured below - the last one is South Africa). So how do we expect them to care about Nigeria's infrastructural development? We need to be truthful about the situation, during independence we were tipped as the Giant of Africa, just like the U.S.A for the American continent, the China for Asia, the Russia for Europe, the Dubai for the Middle East. However, we don't seem to have done much to live up to the expectations, I have been to many of these places and sometimes I wish the leaders who mismanaged our resources due to greed would all line up and tender a heartfelt apology to the people. How can we after 55 years still be complaining about steady power? or portable water? Nigeria needs to invest in massive infrastructural development at least continuously for the next 30 years, countries that got independence long after we did, seem to be way ahead. Black people complain about racism all around the world yet the world's most populous black nation can't seem to save the black race from this quagmire. If Nigeria became what it was meant to be early enough, no single black man/woman would be anywhere else speaking about racism. God save the people of Nigeria! I'm guessing the OP posted the HR's name in case a problem arises when he(his friend) goes there. Secondly, the lad said he advices them to keep the CV like he has some authority over the HR and staff. Let's hope the chat doesn't involve the HR returning the lad's CV in person. In practice, HR's do not easily change their minds about who gets a job position on offer unless there is a very tangible reason for it (like an error or omission) and this usually involves a thorough assessment of the capabilities of the current workforce and the number of vacant allocations left for the spot on offer. If they have filled up all vacant positions before sending the rejection emails, they rarely would call you back just because you advised them to keep your cv. Companies are out to make money, they dont employ people cos they pity the unemployment situation and just want people to have jobs, its not a charity. They need people who have what it takes to get the job done. Additionally, they wont want to encourage people who are not satisfied with their feedback to go against protocol and write them back to demand their CVs are kept. I do hope for your friend's sake that they are willing to make an exception from the HR norm and truly offer him a job, but that's a 2% chance. |
Okay I think I have seen enough in one thread. This is what I'll say: Now to the OP. remember this: Without darkness, light can not be desired, and darkness as we know it is only the absence of light. This means that Light uses energy that is powered by a source and darkness is everything that exists if we haven't seen the Light and what it offers. Light reveals the obvious and darkness conceals the details of truth. Darkness has no energy and can not overcome light, its only an absence of the light. So whatever evil you encountered could not overpower the you within if it was full of light but the you without which didnt have light. Notice my use of with and without? God is Light and if you are without the Light all that is darkness(evil) would be present, you can't live a life that is void of these two elements either will find you. A simple example in physics: No one can deny the fact that the shadow is the patch of darkness that the light didnt cover and as soon as the light goes away, the darkness expands. Now to everyone who cares to read: Worship of self, or self religion is totally satanic. If you didnt create yourself you have no right to worship yourself, this is the greatest deception satan uses to turn people away from their true creator, its the same error in judgement satan made that got him cast out of heaven, satan wanted to place itself above the Divine God that created it. God doesnt destroy the soul, the body is but a garment and God has made it clear in so many ways that the Body is not half as important as the soul (What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul?). If you are Christain, you would understand that God is MERCIFUL but also FAIR. FAIR When the bodies of men were destroyed in the old testament, it doesnt say that their souls were annihilated from existence as well. Infact we are told that Hell wasnt created for man, but that Hell was for those who desired to be in the absence of God (Light), and wherever there is absence of Light, will be darkness (Evil), so the soul in hell only experiences what it is like to be without God and everything that exists in that absence grabs hold of them. You can be sure that if Satan had this sort of fate for choosing to live outside of God, then every human who chooses same path would be granted same wish. God gave you freewill, you choose if you want to be with him or not, he doesnt autocratically command you to go to hell cos he pleases, he grants you your wish to not want to be with him even though he wishes you would be. He is only being fair. Now He is also merciful because he knows you have to contend with the tricks of the devil who has chosen to exist in darkness (remember even devil was once in the light and chose not to have that light anymore). But what can God do when you openly deny him and choose to walk out on His light like the devil did? Would it be fair to you (or even to the devil) if he forcibly tries to keep you in his light beyond your own will? MERCY It surprises me that people blame God for all the evil people in the world who follow their own will and not God's. In the old testament God destroyed such evil people (Physically) who were enemies of good people to keep good people on the tough parts of earth safe cos that was all they could get(Physical lives) after Adam and Eve rejected (Spiritual life) and opted out of the safest place on earth - Eden. God even sent His Son(Also GOD) to die (Physical death) on earth so that these same people who chose to live purely Physical lives and rejected the Spiritual with Him in heaven, could now come to Live in his Light (Spiritual Afterlife in Heaven). Why then do people now blame God for not killing off evil people who are enemies of Good people and constituting problems for them in this present time (physical earth)? While they are quick to judge God for killing off people in the old testament knowing that the people in that time had nothing but the physical life to live and didnt have the option of living in the spiritual afterlife which we now do? if you know that the spiritual afterlife is what matters now, dont you see that God is only fair to allow these evil people time to change? If you expect God to kill them off now and also send them to hell immediately, how fair and merciful does God appear to be? It is humans that have such evil hatred for their fellow beings, you do not know what it costs to create a single soul, your intelligence alone should let you understand that you are more than the physical vehicles we call bodies. God knows that if these evil people kill good people now, such good people aren't also killed in the Afterlife as well, so it doesnt bother God now the way it did in the old testament when they didnt yet deserve an afterlife. This is apparently why he fought to save the just from being ruined by the evil in those old testament days. But today he gives all Good and NOT so good people time to change and benefit from his love. If you lived in the time of the old testament, and you die at the hands of not so good people, you lose everything. God is only fair to stop the not so good people from denying you a physical life which was all you had. But in this day and age after Christ's ultimate sacrifice. If the good-you dies at the hands of not so good people, what do you stand to lose? Absolutely nothing. You go on to live in the Love of GOD (the Light) you accepted. So why should God be like man and kill the not so good people now? what do you stand to gain? Update: For those who might want to ask, why does God not allow the not-so-good people into his light in the afterlife? Well, if God didn't allow the evil people overcome the good people in the physical earth which was the only life they had during the old testament times, what makes you think he would now allow them to overcome the good people in heaven by letting them in to ruin the only one they have left in the afterlife? Two things are clear, 1. if you don't want anything to do with the light, he wont be unfair to force you to live in it (heaven). 2. If you aren't fit to live with good people He created and admitted into his light cos you would cause trouble for them, you can't be in his light(heaven) either. And if you cant be in his light, you know where you would be, in the darkness, you cant live outside of these two. |
Galaxydiddy1:You are wise, Take note of point 6: that seems to be the common factor, the kind of friends you keep would either make or mar you. Point 9: if you are confronted by a challenging situation do not see it as a reason to miss lectures, No 6 kinda friends would be quick to influence you in taking this negative step but do not listen, its better to enter the kingdom with one friend than to have 500 friends and perform poorly, most of the time those 500 friends have backup plans and their lack of commitment to anything worthwhile would only lead to their downfall or if not, they'll selfishly avoid you when things get better for them and you are down in the dirt. So either way, you would be better off without them to begin with. Bless you. |
This is actually implementable if the banks use BVN to monitor demographics and number of accounts held by each individual. Thereafter, corresponding bank account balance per person can be ascertained and people within a specific account balance range could recieve the help required as long as they fall within the age range of the targeted demographic statistics. |
OP it's wrong to assume you can't loose your relatives as well. Picture this: you can spend all your money on your so called relative, then one day he makes it big, gets married and spends it all on his wife who makes sure you don't get a dime back. Bottom line: Be good to all and expect nothing in return. God blesses His children not man. |
Mark 4:15 15"These are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown; and when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. |
Nienie:And they both lived happily ever after ![]() |
I heard sometime ago that its something about a part underneath the tongue that should have been cut off as a little baby so it wont later affect the child's speech. Dunno how true this is, see a maternity nurse for more info. Hope that aint what's wrong with ya. Otherwise, you might just need to be more conscious about what you mean to say before you try to speak. |
Says the lady with a jeep in the background of her pic. I say you feel guilty of wanting money from relationships as well and just want to feel better by finding out if other ladies think and do same. |
