U1:Depending on the reasons for undelivered item, in most cases you can file trade dispute and if AE team investigates and verifies your claim, you will get your money refunded back to you. Once you win the dispute, email notification will be sent from AE. Depending on your bank, the refund usually takes 5 - 10 working days. That is not to say some few useless banks won't get you credited for a month. U1:I won't say the warranty stands except in quite few cases (acyually one case) that I'm aware of. The item was a morningstar MPPT solar charger. Of messed up within one year and the company sent the guy a replacement at no extra cost or shipping cost. Bht let's say few sellers try to honour their warranty. Once you chat them up and show proof of your demands, they may ask you to return the item before a new one is shipped to you. But I tell you, shipping stuffs from here to China will put a hole in your pocket, so at the end of the day the shipping fees is more than the cost price of the item. And since the seller is not willing to send a new one without seeing the defective one, giving up on such futile attempts is the common reaction. I have been in this situation before. An inverter I got from the seller began to act up within one week. When I complained, the seller suggested I send the defective one for them to check it while they send me a replacement. But the NIPOST charges for shipping to China is prohibitive. So I kúkúma jettison the idea and instead convinced the buyer to give me significant discount on the replacement inverter that I was going to buy again and he obliged removing almost 20k worth. I think speedaf (a new entrant into the logistics business) will likely charge much less to ship to China because they usually have a lot of returns anyways and they are all sent back to the sellers in China. Speedaf also does local logistics within Nigeria and their rate is cheaper than NIPOST's. U1:Custom duties are charged based on the price of the item (that is the price declared on the label of the envelope. So it varies. I think items more than 64k naira automatically attracts duty. However, there are items, including phones, that have escaped custom's scrutiny and the buyer got it without paying a dime as custom duties. But that is in very rare cases. |
Buhari is hopeless, to say the least. Instead of him to specifically and strategically wear Nigerian made (Aba made) shoes on his foreign trips to market and advertise Nigerian products to the outside world, he is busy gallivanting around in Italian made shoes. Use Nigerian made Innoson vehicles, at least in about 20 percent of his entourage, no. Ńa to dey waka around in Mercedes benz and Toyota dem sabi. MeghaneMorgane:He is a public figure for goodness sake! He should exemplify modesty at least to reflect the current economic realities in the face of gnashing standard of living every Nigerian goes thru. He can at least do this until such time he is out of office and he is able to buy these things on his monthly salary he saved while being president. At least we know his true monthly earnings as president is able to get him 640 usd shoes. Millions of Nigerians sustain on less than one dollar to feed daily. The monthly minimum wage of 25000 naira is equivalent to 45 usd, and he walks around in 640 usd shoes (which is able to pay the minimum wage of 14 Nigerian workers). The people that that were hired by the FG to protest for them at the UNGA were paid 50 dollars per hour for the gig. Yet he pays his workers back in Nigeria 45 usd monthly. If this is not wickedness, I don't know what is. |
"If one person own no destroy, another person own no go good" . Na in be say as other Europeans don comot UK due to brexit, may Road open for many Nigerians to fall in as replacements. Working as a trucker in the UK will be much better than as a barman in Nigeria with its endless security and financial challenges. Nigerians to UK: "we meeeeuve!". |
I expected it to come to this. In fact, I'd have been mad at her if she didn't sue the EFCC. The building that was raided by the EFCC has other apartments that are occupied by a Lawyer and another medical doctor. Those two also had their little share of intimidation from the EFCC. Na there I know say the team don complete. A lawyer, a journalist and a doctor. Ẹ don be for EFCC. |
A little help though. Who has the remote of this infinix TV up for a token? Mine is broken in half (the stuff is quite flexible). Thanks. |
Alhajiemeritus:So is this item you speak of one of those tagged "Speedaf-Nipost" in the tracking information? |
gadgetplanetng:I doubt if they can be rescucitated. I've had them piled up for quite sometime. |
kiekie1:Who takes care of the waybill money? You or the sender? And how much do you pay for 12v7ah, 12v12ah, 12v18ah, 12v65ah (car battery), 12v75ah (car battery)? |
Unluckrees:I think speedaf has succumbed to trickery from NIPOST. Now the latter is set to finally bury them. Tracking number is speedaf's, yet the delivery is wack courtesy of their partnership with NIPOST. By the time NIPOST is through with speedaf, they (speedaf) will have no reputation again. |
"Ministry of promotion of virtue and prevention of vice". This is the nonsense the Hisbah will soon metamorphose to in time. I congratulate Northern Nigeria ahead in anticipation of this kinda hard knock life. Hypocrites! |
Of course he did diversify the economy. He diversified into Banditry, kidnapping, Islamic extremism and terrorism. He also capped it up with nepotism and clannishness. |

So what are we to do with this information? So because "Bovi the comedian" put hin son's picture on display for sale because he broke the third TV in a row, you sef want to garner attention by listing more gadgets as destroyed by your own son. Is he Conan the destroyer? My kids have been free with as many gadgets as possible that I own and only once has my son broken the screen of my phone when he was just 3 years. I have 65 inches, 42 inches, 32 inches and 24 inches TV at different points in the house that they all have access to (although not placed at their arm's length) and even operate by themselves using the remote, yet they have not broken any. Laptops, tablets, none is endangered. You better train your ward on how important it is to be careful with gadgets and items that does not belong to him. Yèyẹ́ woman. |
Mood11:No big deal about it. I'm not desperate for his offer, so if he really wants to do business, then it will be on my own terms. And that is he pays for the item first and I confirm that payment has been executed and payment confirmed by AE on my AE profile. Afterwards the naira equivalent can be transferred to him. Anything aside that, he should hold him "emburse" wàhálà. Maintaining your stand that the other party pays before you send the naira equivalent is a sure way to make sure you're not scammed. Change your password as soon as the item is paid for and you've send him the money. That way he won't have access to your account to "cancel the order" and then have money refunded back to his account. The downside to this arrangement is in the event of trade dispute which is ruled in your favour. The money will eventually be refunded back into the payer's account, not you. But good thing that he was found out. He would have scammed at least one person on this thread. Thank you all for your diligence, vigilance and eagle eye. |
Trippledots:AliExpress ruled against me. It was a painful experience. I provided pictures and all, but I guess what they needed was a video of me opening the package. How was I to know that the item inside was already broken and therefore make a video of me opening it in order to prove it arrived broken? I just took it as my loss. |
AutoChick4U:It's imported from Norway. |
Ghen ghen! Ladies be like Shyte, WTF!

Aisha Buhari is actually a great chameleon. The only reason she lashed out at the president's men that time was because she was not given a free ride like previous first ladies did. Had she been given that power, she would have been worse than Buhari her husband sef. At that time, Nigerians thought that she was a reasonable woman that seems to be on the side of the masses. Thankfully that honeymoon was not to last long as the first act that exposed her lies was the shopping she went to Dubai to do for her daughter's wedding while lying to Nigerians that she went for medical check up. |
I hope that they didn't pack their team full of Fulanis and that was the reason falconets could trash 'em like well, trash. They could have filled their tema with inept Fulanis that know nothing about soccer. Fulanis have been big problem in CAR for years. The same nepotism they display in Nigeria was the order of the day in CAR until the locals took their own destiny intk their own hands and decided to attack the presidential villa and chase out the nepotistic Fulani president there. They fought the military, fought and prevailed upon the presidential guard brigade and entered the presidential villa to chase him out. The Fulanis have lost CAR as a result of that. |
Waoh. I hope these houses are not illegally erected on designated drainage paths. Imo, in Owerri state do ín own with a sinkhole swallowing a whole range rover. Now Ogun State too don show itself, threatening to swallow a whole house. In fact the gates of that house is already succumbed. Shey ńa competition una dey do? |
Buhari the clown in the village square. He thinks the NYPD is like the Nigerian military and Nigeria police that he unleashed on #EndSars protesters in which scores ended up being murdered by the Nigerian security forces. |
SilentVboy:Two orders I placed few days ago was on the premise of avoiding this useless speedaf-nipost collabo. I changed the delivery address from the remote area one to the state capital where speedaf office. So let's see if they will again have to taje them thru the speedaf-nipost nonsense. Okay. So there is this item that on the AliExpress tracking info has reached destination country since 10th and hasn't been updated since then which is quite unusual. It is on speedaf. Then I bumped into people talking about speedaf-nipost collabo here which I though didn't affect any of my items. So out of curiosity, I decided to track it on speedaf's own website and guess what? The last update where it is stuck in is speedaf-nipost. Guess I'm in for some terrible treat. Screenshot on the left is the info provided on AliExpress item page (missing the speedaf-nipost uodate) while the screenshot on the right is that provided by Speedaf website. So shall we assume that speedaf China isn't aware of this unholy union of speedaf Nigeria with nipost?

Diversifying and moving with the trends now that pay TV is going out of vogue, with subscription bease Internet entertainment like Netflix taking over. After 12 months, customers will have the chance to opt-out or add a monthly charge of 30 rands (840 naira) to their DStv Internet bill.I'm sure that if this was to be in Nigeria, DSTV will leave out @bolded options as unavailable and even if they do, it will start at 2500 naira monthly base price. They will be so happy to extort Nigerians and our useless leaders and politicians will be ever willing to indulge them for some months of free subscription from DSTV. By the way, there is this router that MTN also has for Nigerian subscribers that looks like this from DSTV. Someone gifted me but I'm not an avid fan of MTN and I wish to use Glo sim or airtel on it. But it is locked to MTN sim. Is there a way to unlock it that other SIM cards can work on it? Please a little help, biko.

Funny that I bumped into this topic. Couple of minutes ago, the guy just in front of me had his card retained by a first bank ATM. He hasn't even pressed any button. He slid in the card, and instead of the password menu to pop up, the machine still remained at the "insert your card" on screen instruction. It would have been me had I been the next in line. |
mctfopt:I believe it should be much cheaper that LiFePO4. And with the emphasis on safety at par with LFP, then it may be a good thing for people to consider it. |
jboixxx:Could the above have been responsible for one of my item that was taken to customs and it spent about 6 days before the status changed? See the green arrows. The item was shipped via Singapore Post and EMS appears to only be the last mile carrier. And the item costs just 4 thousand naira. So I wonder why NCS should be salivating over such cheap consignment.

Now this. From the stable of Growatt.

Hypocrites dem. One is a known terrorist while the other is a sellout for money and position. |
aieromon:Thanks. So that I will just know if I should go file trade dispute for refund sharp sharp. |
genius43:It's not phone o. It's just a smart plug that is worth only 4k. aieromon:Thanks. So that I will just know if I should go file trade dispute for refund sharp sharp.

Aittle help please. Does that last tracking information - Returned from customs - imply that the item has been returned back to China? That update was after the updates of item being sent to customs for checking.
|
Michaelgodis1:It is either your tracking number is not of speedaf's for you to get that response on the speedaf website. Speedaf's tracking number always gives me "error, tracking number incorrect" response whenever I enter it into the 24track mobile application. So for you to get valid tracking information about your parcel on track 24 website, your tracking number may not be of speedaf's. U1:Go to the settings in your AE application. There you will see currency options. |

Abeg I get a few questions that I hope someone can spare me a little time to help answer.
