Lattop:Death before dishonour. |
She is hurting herself badly by keeping her phone under the pillow. Phones emit minute amounts of microwave radiation on a constant basis. These radiations increase exponentially just as calls come in or calls are made out. It also increases at the same rate when their is a transient drop of signal and the phone is seriously searching for signal trying to reconnect to the network. So it is not wise to keep your phones at a close distance to your head while sleeping. I initially know this from research but I also accidentally discovered what dangers it could do to me. I noticed that each time I inadvertently slept off with my phone on the bed, close to my head, I always wake up the following morning with a terrible headache. I was able to conclude on the relationship between keeping that phone around my head and the terrible headaches in the morning. Now back to your real question. Phones are a private property. However for the sake of honesty in a relationship, I think couples feel reassured if secretive attitudes are not being displayed by any of the couples. Hiding phones and hiding to receive calls are a few of such attitudes that whip up suspicions and doubt in relationships. |
Was it not also in Thailand that the head of a cat was stuck in a man's ass? The dude had bled profusely into his guts as the cat scratched desperately against the walls in other to get itself free. I think the guy still survived it though cos the EMS people responded early enough. NB: Edited. The incident happened in the US and it was a squirrel, not a cat. https://worldnewsdailyreport.com/man-transported-to-hospital-after-getting-squirrel-stuck-in-his-rectum/comment-page-4/ |

BarrSly:You come across as a narcissist from all you typed up there. But I don't even have anything against it so far you said you worked hard for what you have. But it'll be nice if you keep things down a little bit. Try to pass your messages across with little less of pomposity cos you have simply waxed sanctimonious by condemning those that chose to express displeasure in yahoo boys who they may have fallen victim to as "frustrated". Even the victim still instructed one potential assailant not to slap one of the boys. That is to show you the level of maturity he has. If I see you all dressed up responsibly and driving your "posh" car and I am the driver to a politician, I sure won't profile you, I'll just conclude in my mind that you're lucky to have things going your way. Mind you, that you are well dressed does not mean you may not be irresponsible if prodded further. However if you are in that "posh" car with some funny raggy, mopstick-like, colour dyed hair, pierced noses and ears and then when you come down I see some saggy worn out Jean barely covering two skinny legs and you happened to have brushed my ride, ọmọ, I will immediately take you for an irresponsible dolt and address you as such. I won't let the you slide with the car bash either. If you see me as "frustrated" for opting to do that, then be ready to get it from a frustrated dude. |
I heard the news that couple of months ago, some yahoo boys around Federal University Ọyẹ́ drove into a vulcanizer who had his shop by the road side, hitting the dude and killing him in the process. The police waded in and suggested the guys pay off the family of the innocent man, of course with some percentages also entering the pocket of the police. Over the past year, a close friend of mine witnessed two different road traffic accidents (Lexus ES330 in both cases) around EKSU, both midwifed by reckless driving from drunk yahoo guys and taking no less than three lives on each occasion. In one of the occasions one of the victims was the yahoo guy himself and he was celebrating the arrival in Lagos of a range rover he just acquired. He has not even laid hands on the car. |
It's likely. Even though he has no live lost for Nnamdi Kanu, he should have kept quiet the moment he was abducted by the Nigerian government. Even I as an individual do not like Kanu's methods, but I am saddened that he was captured because the government that abducted him have officially declared themselves as enemies to 200 million Nigerians by their evil actions. So if Kanu as a person is a thorn in the flesh of the government, whoever is happy that the government is having a headway in the oppression of Nigerians will also answer to me. You don't gloat on your perceived enemy openly like that, not until you have all the powers to yourself. Eve after you have all the powers, it is still transient for you can become powerless tomorrow. This is what will definitely be the case of the Fulani that think they have it all at the moment. |
This is taqquiya. Holy deception, they call it. Nigerians do not fall for it. |
On point |
oluztx:Still changing narratives. Aren't you good at it? Still the same problems, the same attitude. You like to betray, yet you will not tolerate defensive betrayal in return. Even in your vain attempt at evasive action, you remained silent on the truth or otherwise of Nnamdi Kanu's vituperous utterances on radio Biafra, of invectives directly aimed at Nigerians, both young and old, male and female. The south west remained neutral for most part of the war until, until the point Ojukwu took his forces through Ore axis, with the sole intention of taking over Lagos, an aboriginal Yoruba region. So what did you expect Yorùbás to do? Look on like mumu? Now to let you know the honour and deep introspection before taking steps that predominate in Yoruba culture, tell me the story behind the death of Colonel Fajuyi. I wish to give you the honour to narrate the truth in this event (which happened years after the civil war) and thereafter make your judgement of "betrayal". And also to your "hate borne out of envy" chant, after the civil war how many Igbos that left the south west complained that their properties were usurped? How many applauded the fact that their properties were safely kept for them and handed over intact to them upon their return to Yorubaland? Do you even know anything about the true history of the civil war or you are just being overzealously emotional from hearsay? Or perhaps a more plausible explanation is that you're not even Igbo or from the south, but one of those Fulani guys here on nairaland who fake southern ethnicity just so to cos some distrust and dislike within the south? Cos I don't get why any southerner will support anything that disparages the south like you did in your first post about Nnamdi Kanu. Only a Fulani will gloat against southerners like you did. |
oluztx:The problem with Nnamdi Kanu and probably with you too is that you like to hurl insults but would not tolerate an insult in return. Nnamdi Kanu insulted Nigerians, Igbos inclusive on radio Biafra. His beef was with the government and he should have kept it at that, not drag Nigerians alongside the government in his verbosities. And I think he (Kanu) realized his errors later and he began to verbally align with other agitators in Nigeria, but it was a little too late. That being said, I can't deny the fact that I am still saddened that he was apprehended so easily. A bad child in the family even have their own good days when they prove beneficial, and it is in that sense that I saw Kanu as a thorn in the flesh of the Fulanis and a nightmare for 'em. That is the reason I'm a little devastated that he handed over victory so cheaply to the Nigerian government, a victory which is transient nonetheless. What I had wished for is victory not for Nnamdi Kanu or the Federal government, but victory for the good people of Nigeria. |
KillMNKnow:Quite a commendable analysis, for your level that is. But to be sure we have not erred in our assessment of your outstanding performance, can you remind us again what breed of Capra hircus you belong to? |
Media houses too don dey grow balls o. The President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, Mustapha Isah; the National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Chris Isiguzo; and the Executive Director, Centre for Media Law and Advocacy, Richard Akinnola; made this known in separate interviews with Saturday PUNCH on Friday.Good thing is that this decision cuts across ethnic divides, so they can't pin it on any ethnic group in the name of being in the opposition. It is Nigerians against 'em, not Igbo against' em or Yorùbás against 'em. Stupid lots, foolish politicians. KillMNKnow:Quite a commendable analysis, for your level that is. But to be sure we have not erred in our assessment of your outstanding performance, can you quickly remind us again what breed of Capra hircus you belong to? oluztx:The problem with Nnamdi Kanu and probably with you too is that you like to hurl insults but would not tolerate an insult in return. Nnamdi Kanu's favourite past time on Radio Biafra was to insult Nigerians, including Igbos. His beef was with the government and he should have kept it at that, not drag Nigerians alongside the government in his verbosities. That is why I won't blame that man in Canada for insulting him in return. And I think he (Kanu) realized his errors later that he began to verbally align with other agitators in Nigeria, but it was a little too late. That being said, I can't deny the fact that I am still saddened that he was apprehended so easily. Like WTF! Is that January 1, 2000 timestamp that I'm seeing on that video? These useless YouTube vloggers that just harvest old videos and repost them as new in order to garner traffic to their channels. And the poster here is apparently complicit. I can see that he has edited out the part of the pictures where time stamps will have shown.

I've seen this video since like 2 months ths ago. And this nonsense is getting annoying cos it is all for clout chasing. The video to me isn't real but all this short videos by gboys. And to those who think because they saw one or two old folks coming out of their cars in the video then the video must be real, well it's not. Those two oldies were not even part of any procession. They were only two concerned folks, who have lived together to old age, and who as expected thought they could give some peaceful intervention. I bet they wouldn't even have an inkling that it is all a prank. |
Holy sh1t! Not Nigeria again. Anyways it is now UAR, not Nigeria, so the US better look for another loser to pin it on. |
He is possibly there as a spy. To mingle in order to single out facts about cubana's riches and his associates. |
Really? Why don't APC too find a way to block PDP from rigging an electronically transmitted result? Decapitation isn't the panacea for headache. Abolishing electronic transmission should not be the solution for a possible rigging of it. In fact, the foresight by APC should give it an edge to put measures to truncate rigging it into motion. |
Developing in Nigeria. This is a good thing. I just wonder why the Federal Government. I believe it should be more of private investment. The government has never really done anything right.

OkoroPeugeot:XT60 plugs - can support up to 40amps. Have a couple of these but I don't think the distance will be worth the shipping to you. There's also XT30 and XT90/Anderson connectors. |
See hospital in Brazil. Their president accesses his health are there. Meanwhile, Buhari this is your mate having obstruction o. What kind of obstruction do you plan to have? Because Nigerians are waiting. |
Another bottomless put to loot money. The CCTVs of Abuja during GEJ's era are still non-existent today. Buhari now wants to add his own. |
Trippledots:That's bad. What is he a landlord for if he is unable to provide water for his tenants? He may be excused that of electricity but water, haba! So does it imply that the borehole was only sunk for his use and not for the whole compound? |
ojeysky:See waste. Just painful. justcallmenuel:One month of poor charging coupled with discharge is enough to depreciate that bank by a rapid 50 percent, something that should take years. So except he intends to get his MPPT within a week, the lives of those batteries are on the line. |
DonroxyII:Bahdo! ![]() See analysis (Sexnalysis) But three rounds per session in all session is kinda a hard call. They must be highly compatible, strength for strength and libido for libido to be able to achieve that. In most relationships, one of the couple always have a weaker drive or shorter sustenance. |
PARACLETOS:Pantami and Malami will fight over marrying her. |
Do they also fight for supremacy amongst themselves? That family should watch it before they eliminate 'em selves to extinction. But I bet that just as Fukmlanis don't care if Nigerians burn, Nigerians too don't care if they kill' em selves off, as long as it is fulanis at one another's necks. By the way, that map of Kwara looks like a lady bent over and being dealt with do**y style by Fulanis. |
My brother or shey it's sister, nursing has prospects both within and without Nigeria. Considering your age, going for basic nursing of 3 years is your best bet. Medicine is outta the question because that will be 6 years plus and the stress may not be worth it. BSc nursing will also take you 5 years to get certified. As I speak, news from a former colleague is that around 15 nurses in a particular health institution in the south west have migrated within this year alone to places like UK, Canada and Australia. And about 10 medical doctors. The IELTS requirement for nurses is less stringent than it is for doctors, so passing the exam is easier. In addition, as a nurse unlike doctors that require two exams, you only have one exam after IELTS and bam, your dream to the UK is sealed. I know ladies that never had any exposure to science while in Nigeria but on migrating to Australia decided to study nursing for about two years. One year after employment, they own their own house. |
Buhari lies with a straight face. That is why he is comfortable with someone like Lai Muama as his information minister. And that is the only reason why he would want to muzzle the press or bridle free speech, truth-telling platforms like twitter and other SM outlets. But now that he has attributed a "successful" security summit to the 9th Senate, we shall be happy to see security in the North get better than pre-8th Senate. |
Whoever among current Nigerian artists that is able to strike a deal to remix Sound sultan's motherland track, of course with appropriate copyright permission from his family or producers, will definitely cash out like mad. |
Ẹ go Better for all of una jàre. Left to Nigeria basketball federation sponsoring you, nepotism would not even guarantee the team qualifying beyond the heat stages. They will also have been sanctioned for having sound sultan pictures on their shirt. The government would have demanded they put Buhari pictures, Malami or Pantami's pictures as well on the shirt. But the team was sponsored by good spirited Nigerians. See where they are today. This is to tell you that the government is the evil that holds this country back. The citizens are good people. And yes, you may argue that the citizens make up the government. But the fact is that the government of the country is made up of evil people. That is why the government is evil. |
