She should summon courage and tell them that she wants them to involve traditional oath swearing between herself and the guy or else that she would report the boy to a popular shrine to come and swear that she forced him.

This would reset their brain and believe me the guy will backtrack or confess once he hears its going the traditional way cos Nigerians fear shrines more than anything else.

Going to court cant solve it
That is the only way to go! Radical situations demands radical steps.

@lastchild, Bro don't add to your problem, when the devil give you one thing he take away double from you.

Engaging in water sacrifice any other ritual will lead to more bondage for you and your yet to be born children, placing a generation bondage on your children, grandchildren, great grand children and so fort.

Don't out of despair or desperation sell your future and those of your offspring.

if you have not done renunciation, I will advice you go to a bible believing church that is also very strong in prayer and lay more emphasis on living a righteous life.

Do renunciation and go for deliverance again, soaking yourself in the word of God because the word is power of creation which is also the light of all men which is life to all.

One church i can recommend is MFM but if you can find time call this servant of God his name is servant Vic explain your situation to him 08153309479. Don't stop calling him if your call didn't get through at first. He is always busy attending to others too.

The size of my nose announces my pregnancy. Nausea in the first trimester. Energy surges in the second trimester... I'm always looking for heavy things to carry, like climbing stairs carrying 2 heavy buckets of water. The only thing that wasn't appealing was having that bitter taste in my mouth from day one till I put to birth . God bless all mothers!

Family / Re: I do not feel loved by my wife, Is this enough reason to quit my marriage? by ceeceeuwa: 10:44am On May 24, 2023
CuriousMind2022:
It's a known fact that most Nigerian girls marry who they consider ready for marriage and not necessarily who they love. I am exactly in that dilemma and the question I am asking myself is whether I should continue in this loveless marriage or slowly drift and walk away.

My marriage is barely 2 years and a few months, but it has been a rough journey for me. Things I never envisaged I would experience in my marriage, I have suffered, from utmost disrespect to verbal abuse.

I came to the conclusion that she doesn't love or care about me based on what happened yesterday. I was recently transferred from my base to a new location and because of that, I would only be able to visit weekends or twice a month. Prior to that, we barely had sex once a week.

We had already had sex the normal once we usually had it (Saturday morning), but I wanted more because I will only be coming back after two weeks. I initiated a move on Sunday morning, she declined because she was thinking of preparing food for our baby before we leave for church. We went to church and came back, and as usual, my wife was in her undies (just panties and bra) in the sitting room (This was what she wore throughout that Sunday).

I watched her walk around the house in that and that even turned me on the more. I am a practicing Christian, and I try not to look after other women lustfully, but common this is my wife, even God sanctions that. After being turned on throughout the day, I went to my wife in the night, (note she slept in the sitting room with our baby leaving me alone in the room) to enjoy my conjugal rights with her, but she gave me excuses that she is upset and not in the mood.

I left and went back, seriously konjified, I managed to sleep. The next morning, I woke up with my urges and went to the sitting room to have my morning devotion, but I could barely concentrate because I was still very Hot. I explained to her that so really wants me to go to my new station like this knowing fully well I will not be coming back until 2 weeks time. This woman did not care!

I took my bath, prepared myself, and set out for my office. I was not happy with her but I kept my cool and left for work. She had demanded that I dropped some money for her before leaving and despite the fact that I was not happy with her, I dropped the money in a conspicuous place where I know she will see it before leaving. This was my own way of saying I am not happy with what you did, but I still cared.

I try to do things I usually do for my wife even when I am angry with her. This is my own way of saying I may be angry with you, but I still cared about you and I am open to a resolution. On the other hand, my wife doesn't care what happens to me when she is upset. She immediately stops cooking for me ad any other thing she does for me when she is upset. It is obvious to me now that to my wife I don't really matter in the grand scheme of things. She is only caring and concerned, when she is not angry (when we are good and we don't have any issues). I believe that when you love somebody, you treat them right and show genuine love and care for them even when you're upset with them. This is what I have constantly shown to my wife in our 2+ years of marriage.

Back to my story of what happened weekend/Monday. My wife never bothered to call me to check if I arrived safely since I left the house yesterday. I even called her once (primarily to check on my daughter), but she didn't pick up and she didn't call back, and up till now, we have not spoken.

She obviously does not care whether I arrived safely in my station or not. In this country of insecurities, a family member of yours will travel and you do not care whether he/she arrived safely, that is the height for me, and in the actual sense, I should be the one upset here because she left me high and dry, despite knowing fully well I am very Hot.

I am a family-oriented person, I have always dreamt of having a peaceful, loving, and Godly home but unfortunately, the reverse is the case for my wife. I began to understand why family background is very important in a person's life, after getting married. My wife is from a family where they place little or no value on marriage. Her mother had children with 2 men, and my wife is obviously working very hard to follow that same path. She shows little or no enthusiasm in making our marriage work. I am always the one to initiate moves to resolve issues when we quarrel, whether I am right or wrong, I do not care, my focus is just on making my marriage work and my home peaceful.

This last episode shook me very hard, and I have been asking myself whether I want to continue in this loveless marriage or opt out. Working and living in a different city will even make it easier for me.

I needed to let my thoughts out and thanks to Nairaland, I have done so.

When next you are home, try to have a hearty conversation with your wife. Do no let misunderstanding linger! You didn't tell us the effort you made at conversation before you travelled back.

Let me explain, he says he is not forcing her but if she does not take the fertility test he will not attend the wedding, and he is very likely to prohibit my mom from also attending the wedding and maybe other family members too.

That puts me in a very difficult spot, very difficult spot.
You can convince her to do it as one of the routine test in preparation for your marriage. Seeing that you have also done yours,it shouldn't be a big deal to her. Afterall some churches subject intending couples to do some medical test before they can join them together. If it were her pastor wouldn't she obey? The angle I don't agree to is your father imposing it on you both,it should be an advice to you as he is in the medical line and he shouldn't make it look like a threat!

Romance / Re: My Wife's Getting Fat by ceeceeuwa: 2:42pm On Apr 18, 2023
DrAbdulSuleman:
I started dating this girl 15 years ago. Tight body, good personality, all is well. Got married. Things continue to go swimmingly. Her mom is in her 80s and is quite overweight. A few years into the relationship I saw an old picture of her mom when she was much younger and she looked almost exactly like my wife. Started getting worried. Wife turned 40 a few months ago and her chin is starting to get flabby. Just like her mom’s. Her tits are also starting to sag. They’re huge, which was always a plus, but since last summer they’ve started expanding, but in a bad way. She’s starting to widen out in the middle. Her arms and legs are getting thicker. Basically, she’s starting to get her mom’s body. This is despite the fact that she eats right and exercises regularly. Genetics seem to be overriding her good decisions. And it’s happening rapidly. I’m having a harder time finding her sexually exciting. Which sucks, because her personality is still top tier. I’m afraid within 3 or 4 years she’s going to look hideous. And I’ll be a horrible bastard if I leave her just because she got fat, through no fault of her own. Can anything be done here? Like I said, she takes care of herself. Is there any way to fight genetics, or am I destined to have a fat cow for a wife?
Did you just refer to your wife with such condescending term? 'fat cow'. She is repulsing you already! What happens to "for better for worse "?I wander what else she is going through from you. Before you say you are already seeking for help by bringing it online. All I see is a thread created to body shame a woman. Aust1n:
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐃𝐎𝐌 𝐎𝐅 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐈

There is no other authority bigger than that of the King in Warri Kingdom

This is a response to those who said Mr Ayiri is still the ologbotsere and won’t agree or submit.

In Warri kingdom, to be conferred with a chieftaincy title, is a very rare privilege. The honour and pride of being chosen by an Olu for chieftaincy title can not be expressed in words. There are various individual qualities that one must possess before he/she can become a chief in the ancient kingdom. The most important quality is credibility and patriotism of the individual for the development of the tribe. Those who are found worthy usually pass through many vigorous traditional screening processes like gold passing through a fire furnace. This process is responsible for the very high level of moral respect the chiefs command through their words, public conducts and traditional activities.

Ayiri Emami, who had been invited for his chieftaincy revalidation. Before the assembly, beads and sword that symbolically confer chieftaincy authority were submitted as the first part of the process after which a title once held by his late father Chief Akonu Emami was offered to Ayiri Emami, an offer he respectfully declined with the assembly as witness.

Ayiri Emami was first in 2021 was invited for revalidation which he turned down then until recently the king and mr ayiri settled their differences when ayiri came for reaffirmation the king told him you need to climb up again so the king wanted to give him his fathers title which is Eyeku of Warri kingdom but ayiri pleaded for ologbotsere and the king said he will need to start from there but Mr Ayiri refused and the king asked him to sit with the congress but he left the palace the king moved forward to give chief Eyewuoma ologbotsere who was also one of the candidates contesting for the title of ologbotsere in 2017 before it was given to ayiri then by Olu Ikenwoli.

Mr Ayiri position on becoming a prime minister no longer exist there are some saying he brought fake beads and fake uda that he still remains ologbotsere I want you to ignore them the last person to hold the title was Chief Rewane and Chief Rewane didn’t give his beads and uda to Mr Ayiri Emami new beads and new uda doesn’t mean anything it is the proclamation of the king that makes you a chief in Warri kingdom.

The King is called Áfọmàsín, Áfọwẹrẹ-tséwẹrẹ! And his words are final he holds the authority to promote you as a chief or demote you he has the power to strip you of ever becoming a chief.

The King Has Spoken God Bless His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III the Olu of Warri kingdom!!!
Who gave Ayiri the bead and Uda in the first place?
